Harry was sure he was going to die. The world around him seemed darker and darker every minute. He had watched his best friend die for him. His world had shifted gravely. It seemed as all hope was lost.

But then he found her. There was Hermione, fighting for her life.

He ran to her as fast as he could. But before he got there, he cried in despair, as he saw each of the Weasley's fall. First Fred, then Ron, then Molly. His whole world was crumbling apart. Then down came Arthur, and Percy. He knew Ginny was next, so he hugged her, and whispered goodbye in her ear.

Ginny fell to the ground softly.

Harry ran to Hermione, carefully, avoiding to not be seen. Hermione was struggling. A dark shadow came in between them, and made Harry jump to the side.

But Hermione didn't move. She was to weak.

Bellatrix swooped in, and put Hermione under the Crutiatus Curse once again. Hermione was near death when he found her.

Harry took her to the nearest shelter, which was under a stranded piece of the Hogwarts Castle. Harry frantically tried helping Hermione, but she said to leave her be. "If I'm going to die tonight, I want it to be with you."

They briefly kissed, and Hermione fell to the ground.

"Go, before they kill you too."

"You were always there when I needed help, so I need to be here for you. I'm not leaving you, and I never will."

"I won't be here much longer. Go, and save yourself. It's to late for me."

Harry cried in despair, not sure how long she would be able to hold on. His broken sobs turned to screams, as she got worse. He was sure this was the worst way to die, watching the love of his life fall into the deep, hard soil.

"Please Hermione, just hold on. Stay with me. I don't know what to do without you. Ron's gone. If you're gone to, there wouldn't be a point in life. Please, just don't be gone."

Hermione slowly shut her eyes, for the last time ever.

The only thing that filled the silence was Harry's harrowing sobs.

He knew what he had to do.

He went to Voldemort, in despair.

"You've won the war. You killed my best friend, and now you've killed the only thing I had left. Hermione. Kill me now. It's what you've always wanted."

There was a green light, and Harry soon hit the floor.

Strangely, Harry woke up on the floor, many days later. Everybody was gone. He had the Golden Snitch in his pocket, realizing he had accidentally resurrected himself. He realized that he could resurrect the other people who had died. He had found out that the Snitch enclosed the Resurrection Stone.

He also found a note inside the Snitch.

The note said to only resurrect two people.

That meant he had to choose between Ron and Hermione. He was scared. Then he remembered who had been by his side every single time he was in danger. Hermione. Who had been by his side when him and Ron were in a fight. Hermione. Hermione was his life, and without her, he would have died a lot sooner.

He took one last glance at Ron, and walked towards Hermione.

He placed the stone on Hermione, and she fluttered her eyes.

"You came back."

A few days later, Harry and Hermione had organized a proper burial for Ron. He put his grave right next to their house, that they had built out of Hogwarts remains. They had found out that everybody had died, and Voldemort had went off to conquer the next Wizarding country.

They had an enjoyable time, even though the stone didn't take away their pain of losing Ron. They still were happy.

One day, Harry saw Hermione gazing out the window, towards Ron's grave. We need to be with him, she said.

"We can't live like this. There has never been a day that I didn't feel guilty about leaving Ron dead. I am supposed to be dead. So are you. We have to join him, or we're going to die an even worse death than we did before."

"Hermione, I'm not watching you die again. Watching you die once was painful enough. I don't need it to happen again. You are my life Hermione. I don't think you understand that."

Hermione began sobbing.

"I do okay! It's just-we can't leave him like that!", she screamed.

"If you don't understand that Ron is important too, than- well- goodbye Harry. We had a good run. I love you, but I just can't do this anymore. I am going to be gone forever this time, and their's nothing you can do to change my mind."

"Hermione I- I love you too. I just can't live without you. Stay please Hermione. You're my everything."

Harry started to cry too.

"Without you, life doesn't have a point. You'll die again, and- well-, I'll be alone again. I need you Hermione. I love you more than anything, so don't leave me. You'll be gone again. I can't bear to see you go, my love."

"I love you so much Harry."

"I love you too Hermione. I hope to visit you after death."

"Don't worry, I won't be alone after death. I'll have Ron."

"Before you die again Hermione, I want you to know-"

Harry kissed Hermione one last time, and she fell dead on the ground, never to walk the Earth again.
