Sherlock and John are spending December at Mycroft's for reasons that no one knows (or at least, that no one is willing to admit). Sherlock gets in touch with his inner child, John locks himself away in his room on mysterious business, and Mycroft defends his cellar from his little brother's attempts to drink its contents before Christmas. It is a Thursday when John Watson finally snaps. It was over fairly quickly. There were only six other patrons in the pub aside from himself, as well as the bartender and a waitress. This leads Sherlock into a long term experiment in sentiment as he tests the boundaries of the relationship between him and his flatmate. Post-Reichenbach. Sherlock has returned, but John's moved on from a passionate love that happened almost three years prior. It seems like the roles are reversed: Sherlock now has to endure a long waiting game for John to be his again. Raited T for now.

[Re-Vamped Version Of "To Care For A Person"] After John's sister is murdered by a psychopath working for James Moriarty, Sherlock has to stop the killer before he comes after John. When the blogger's safety is compromised, Sherlock realises how much John means to him and must get to him before it's too late. Rated T for violence, gore, angst, and because I felt like it.

The loss of his best friend leaves John reeling, his mind the last safe haven for him to escape.

Post-Reichenbach. In desperation, the remnants of Moriarty's organization resort to kidnapping Sherlock's friends. Mycroft and Sherlock try to recover the hostages, and Sherlock must seek forgiveness for the destruction he left behind when he faked his own death.

A sequel to Collide, but can be read alone. Because showing up and sticking around are two completely different things. Sherlock must prove he's capable of fatherhood and work through the tangled webs that are his feelings for Molly, and vice versa. A look at their first year of parenthood. Eventual Sherlolly. Now complete.
