EPOV

Today's the day!! I feel as nervous and jittery as I felt when proposing to the love of my life.

I also haven't seen Bella in three days, because of our family and friends. They always had to do something with her and she was currently staying with Rose and Em. According to my understanding I was not allowed to see my bride a day before the wedding, but I haven't seen her in three. Everyone, was laughing at my tantrum, when I told them it was not fair that they got to see her but I didn't.

But today is the day Bella and I finally get married. So I will take this torture for a couple of hours more, before I get to spend the rest of my life with my love.

Flashback

I was pacing across the lawn, a little nervous. I told Bella that I would be out of town for two days on a business meeting regarding the gym expansion, but instead I was pacing outside her parents house, to ask their blessing.

Renee was easy enough, but Charlie... I mean he accepted me in his daughter's life, but did see me as staying there forever... I can't read that man sometimes. Now I was feeling a bit nauseous -

"Son! Why are you creating a trail path on my lawn?" Charlie's voice brought me out of my thoughts and I became nervous.

"Umm.. high Charlie... I mean sir... I mean Chief Swan..?" I said with my hand outstretched, to shake his hand. He looked at me like I was crazy, but shook my hand anyway, although his grip was a bit tight, but I remained firm and didn't waver. I'm doing this for Bella, was all I could say to keep myself calm.

That moment Renée entered - "Oh Charlie, let the sweet boy go." And she hugged me, which I returned, grateful for the distraction. She immediately pulled me into the house and served me some coffee and biscuits. I love Renee, she's awesome and she reminds me of my own mother.

"So tell me boy, what brings you here? I hope Bells is alright?" He tried to act nonchalant, but he was worried that I was bearing bad news or something like that.

"She's more than fine and happy, Chief... She actually doesn't know I'm here. I told her I'm away on a business meeting". I responded.

"Now why would you do that?" Charlie asked. I glanced towards Renee, but she looked like she was about to pass out from excitement or happiness, or both. She definitely knew.

"Ummm.." I cleared my throat and looked between Charlie and Renee, to try to convey my sincerity in what I was about to say -"well sir, I love your daughter very much, and I promise to do right by her and be there for her every single day for the rest of my life... but before I do that I wanted to ask from the both of you, your blessing."

"I knew it!!!!" Renee squealed with excitement - "of course my sweet boy... she's lucky to have you."

"No Renee... I'm the lucky one." I said with a smile. But then looked expectantly at Charlie since he hadn't said anything.

"Hmmm... but what if I say no?" Charlie asked with a stern face.

"Well then sir... with all due respect, I'll still marry your daughter... I came here to inform you and hope that you would be happy for us." I told Charlie with a straight face, because I meant every word.

"But what if she says no?" He asked now with a raised brow. Renee was nudging Charlie to stop, but he wasn't backing down.

"Well then sir, I will respect her decision, and wait for a time when she is ready, because I love her and I would honestly wait the rest of my life for her... she's my everything." I said with a smile, because she really was.

Renee had tears in her eyes, and I saw Charlie's mustache twitch. "Ok then that's settled, why don't you stay here, have some food." With that Charlie got up abruptly from his chair...

"I'm sorry sir... is that a yes??" I couldn't help but ask.

"Of course it's a yes. I was mostly messing with you son, I know how much you love each other and hearing whatever you just said... I wouldn't be able to pick a better person for my daughter to marry." Charlie finished with a smile and what I'm guessing were tears in his eyes. "Also you can call me Charlie." With that he went to the table.

I was stunned and beyond happy, I could just jump up and down. "I always wanted a son! Welcome to the family Edward." Renee said as she hugged me. My heart was full... now the only thing left was to put my plan in action and ask Bella.

After asking for their blessing... I needed to break the news to my parents. So I told them I'm visiting them, and asked if Em, Rose, Alice and Jasper could join us.

I reached a bit late... once again I had to lie to Bella and tell her I would be late, because of a meeting. I asked that my siblings and parents also lie... I felt bad about that, hopefully she will forgive me...

The minute I arrived, everyone was cheering... what the fuck!!??

"Language Edward!" Mom scolded. Shit I said that out loud. "Sorry mom... but why are you celebrating."

"Well duh lil bro - you are asking Bells to marry you!" Em's booming voice answered.

"How did you'll know?" I was surprised.

"Thank god you're pretty bro... because honestly you're so dense sometimes." Em was laughing what the -

"Em! Dont be rude" mom said the same time that rose whacked the back of his head. Now I smirked.

"What Em is trying to say is - that you called all of us, except Bella... sounding nervous, and told us to lie to Bella... and since you already asked her to move in with you way back, we guessed that you're asking her to marry you." Rose explained. "Plus Alice just knew" she added in quickly with a shrug. Yup that all makes sense.

I smiled "Thanks everyone for the support... I guess now all that's left to do is ask her and hope she says yes."

Mom and dad congratulated and hugged me, like I already got Bella to say yes, and had tears in their eyes. Alice, Jasper, Rose and Em did the same.

We talked for a bit and I explained how they can be present in the restaurant, while I can ask the restaurant to dim the lights, so Bella will not know. I already explained this part to Charlie and Renee when I was there. They thought the idea was "cute" so they all agreed.

Before leaving Em asked with a smirk - "did you speak to Charlie and Renee."

"Yeah. I drove down and asked for their blessing." I told him.

"Fuck Eddie! Why do you always one-up me. I just spoke to them over the phone.." he whined.

I laughed at that. Guess I'm the new favorite... awesome!!!!

Present Day

I was pacing around the room, getting ready for my wedding... I can't believe I'm getting married!

Dad walks in that moment - "son... is everything alright?"

"Yeah dad... I mean I'm just nervous that's all... what if I mess things up..." my head was a jumbled mess.

"Listen... Edward, people mess up, that's life. But being with someone who is by your side, who trusts you and who you trust equally, makes things a lot easier when things are a mess. A relationship is not just companionship and love... it's also compromise. And you and Bella are both smart individuals who love each, and respect each other, so I don't think you need to worry about anything." That's probably the most I heard my father speak in one breath. I could feel my eyes tear up.

"Thanks dad... that means a lot." I said as I hugged him. "Is Charlie coming in to talk... didn't he say something to Em."

"No, I don't think so. I think he just tried to scare Em that's all." Dad said with a smirk, that I inherited from him.

I internally sighed a breath of relief and chuckled a bit at that.

"Ok dad... do you think you can give this to Bella?" I had bought her a bracelet that Rose and Alice told me, would compliment her outfit. It had a heart with a diamond hanging from it. I also got the heart engraved - Our love is a sign, that we are meant to be.

It fits us perfectly, and would be a reminder that we can overcome anything...

With all this off my chest, I was now just impatient and excited to get married already.

Watching her walk down the aisle, will be a day that I will never forget. She looked every bit beautiful wearing a form fitting gown that showed off her beautiful body, and it was strapless showing me her beautiful shoulders and skin... I think I cried, but I didn't care... and I'm so thankful for whatever brought us together.

The moment we said I do, I kissed her like there was no tomorrow, putting all my love in that kiss.

The reception was beautiful, courtesy of both our parents.

The speeches... well our parents were lovely and made us cry... but the rest of our family was... embarrassing. I mean Bella would've probably fainted from embarrassment, and her blush was blooming everywhere. I was equally humiliated, but I also kinda expected things to get out of hand, especially between Rose, Em and Alice. Jasper at least maintained some decorum.

"You look beautiful as always, Mrs. Cullen." I said to Bella as we were dancing and it felt so right. Finally we were sort of alone, or at least in our private bubble.

"So do you Mr. Cullen... I love you." She said with a blush and smile that takes my breath away each time.

I just wanted to leave, especially after the dances and music, and began our honeymoon. Our family pooled in money for a trip to Brazil. We were both excited, and had to leave to catch the flight.

We said our goodbyes and rushed to the airport.

We reached Brazil and it was beautiful our wedding night couldn't get better even if we tried. It was just us, on a private beach, in a private house... and everything was perfect.

Bella was snuggled in my side, with my arm around her, and her hand was drawing random patterns on my skin, and we were just falling asleep when Bella asked -

"Edward... have you ever thought about when you want to have kids... I know we talked about it being a year from now, but... what do you think?" Bella was nervous...?

"Why are you asking love...?" I was inquisitive now.

"No reason..."

I turned to face her - "what is it love? Why? Do you want kids soon? Because you know I'm ready when you are... you need time and that's understandable. I love you and that's all that matters." Because I knew Bella was hesitant on having a child with her recently taking over the company...

"I guess I changed my mind..." I was going to interject but she stopped me - "I don't know seeing Alice made me rethink my decisions... it's not a spur of the moment thing, I've been thinking this for some while. We are both in great places and I would love to have a mini Edward running around -"

This time I stopped her with a kiss - "I love you Bella... you have made me even more happier than I thought I could be."

"We haven't even become pregnant yet Edward!" She said laughing. I love that sound.

"Well then we will have a hell lot of time trying to make babies." I said with a smirk.

And with that no more words were said.

It's been six years since that day and I love my wife and kids... I will always and forever be grateful the day my wife asked me - Coffee or tea...
