Mizora
I wish my injuries always heal quick. I get beaten by bullies every day just because they can.
I wish I was intelligent. Teachers always pick on me for not doing well in school.
I wish I can get back at everyone for all the hurt they caused me!
I wonder what I'll be like, if I got all my inborn talents? I wish I had them from the start.
These were the miserable thoughts of ten year old girl Sawada Mizora who came home after a day of being a bully victim in school again.
She was also hungry too. Her lunches are either stolen, or taken and dumped in front of her. Nobody helps her at all.
She fainted from hunger and pain, unaware she vanished in the middle of the street...recorded by CCTV Cameras no less.
But that is a tale for another time, as Sawada Mizora is free from her suffering at last.

Mizora awakened to a mechanical woman's voice as she found herself in a plain. Her bruises from bullying and aching scalp from having her hair pulled all gone. Doesn't change the fact she's dirty though.
The first thing she came to was that voice, and skills she was told she has.
Limit Break is exactly as it says. However, it will only be useful if she is at her peak condition. She can temporarily push herself to be three times as strong and fast, but the price to pay is an achy body afterwards...rendered irrelevant thanks to her healing ability. She can also use this skill to break through and gain more experience upon reaching her limits as a human. Comparable to LV 100 with HP and MP of 9999/9999 as an example...she can go higher, just like bosses in games! But real life is more than that!
They say peak strength for a human is A-Rank Adventurer with stats to match. But beyond that...is an Enlightened Human. Breaking past the limits of an A-Rank Human. But an A-Rank Human is equal to a B-Rank Monster in strength. To compete...yeah. Gotta evolve.
Given intel she gained in the past, her goal is Saint or Majin, whichever comes first! She wants to live long enough and have an ideal life here.
Curse Reflect enables her to use the attacks used on her and cast it back with twice the power and effect. Works on magic, skills and unique skills.
Harmonic Combination enables her to find perfect balance in anything she wants combined. Potential is VERY HIGH be it material or magic thanks to mental subskills.
Gorgon Eye is self-explanatory.
So she has a means to defend herself while she's all alone by herself.
She was relieved.
But she's all alone in the middle of nowhere.
Its like her life became something out of anime, like characters whisked to another world or something.
But she doesn't mind.
She's...free.
She wandered around for days, and found herself stealing at night to get by when she got to a town. She was successful so far and lived like that for a year. With her extra skill Ultra Intuition, she was able to easily understand her new reality, and learned language at astounding speed, though it took her a while to learn how to write. Intuition allowed her to say what needed to be said when she wants something and she understands somehow. And she knows who to trust and who NOT to. Her passively-activated skill does it all for her so she learns.
Not only that, she lost her clumsiness, and became sharp and smart. Things she can only dream of back in Japan. She's now competent and getting stronger.
She also stole from rich homes for money, for things she wants. New clothes, and equipment she needs to get by.
Age 12, she applied as an Adventurer, owning a Rare-Grade sword. She can afford to defend herself with Gorgon Eye to anyone who wants to take her sword from her. Her clothes are Special-Grade with enchantments she asked for, having instant repair, instant clean, instant size adjustment, complete physical impact absorption and penetration prevention. Cost her 800 gold. Her sword cost her 1200. Ouch. Good thing 'other people' paid for it!
But for her exam, she used cheap wares to hide she has classy goods.
She was a D-Class Adventurer in performance after reaching her physical limits during the exam. And to think she was already using Limit Break...that, and her dummy sword broke.
'You're pretty strong and skilled for a kid.' said the proctor, impressed with her. 'But rules are rules. Everyone starts at the bottom E-Rank despite your test results today, you will typically do Foraging Requests. You must at least complete 500 foraging requests, before you are eligible for C-Rank, wherein you can join Subjugation Requests as minimum requirement. Rewards are low at first, but you gotta understand only the best earn gold coins in this job.' he said, presenting her new papers. 'So which branch will you join?'
'If you're talking foraging, I gotta go to Blumund as my base.' said Mizora. 'I'll be staying there. Everything I'll need will be in the nearby forest. Ingrassia's nice, but I shouldn't make my life hard.' the proctor agreed with her and found her sensible. Foragers won't get anything outside Ingrassia anyway!
'Mm, so fill up these documents regarding that.' Mizora filled up her papers and submitted it. She then had her License that looks like an ID Card. With it she can enter and exit ANYWHERE. Village? Town? City? She can go anywhere!
Upon filling documents and receiving some to submit to Blumund's Guildmaster Fuze, she left Ingrassia using Airflight.

A lady gave a young man some papers. He wore a white suit and a pair of black loafers.
'Humm, new recruits today...' he mused as he looked at the newcomers.
But one file intrigued him. A file of a young girl.
Name: Mizora Sawada
Age: 12
Birthplace: N/A
Specialty: Flame Magic, Swordsmanship
Naturally, she would put N/A. Not Applicable.
How can she?
He knows she is his countryman. Name and face alone are telltales.
How young was she when she came here?
From proctor's evaluation, she was already a skilled fighter, as if she trained before applying, commenting she's sensible and has 'common sense god gave an ass' unlike most applicants, very impressed with her. She could compensate with her flame magic to make up for understandably cheap gear.
Her fighting abilities are D-Class due to her frailty from age and physique, it was as far as a kid can go and while she did well training herself first, she clearly...has no experience in fighting, but learns as she goes.
He'll keep an eye on this kiddie.
'Been a while since I last saw a fellow countryman other than sensei, that woman and the kids...'

Blumund, two days later...
'Hummm...' Fuze looked at the documents he got in triplicate. 'So you're stationing yourself here until you advance, is it?'
'Yes. I'll travel back-and-forth so I took quests off of Ingrassia's Branch...Blumund will deliver to Ingrassia right?'
'Of course.' said Fuze. 'Just remember to do quests here too, to speed up your progress.' he reminded her.
'Right.'
And with her remaining money, she rented a cheap inn to get some rest before starting her journey as an adventurer.
Collecting herbs and other reagents for medicine are common requests.
And payout?
For foraging missions, it's around in Bronze Coins.
'...shouldn't adventuring be more profitable than this though...?' Mizora piped up as rewards for foraging are in bronze coins, about 10 yen per coin.
'Well, we tried negotiating for higher rewards due to risks involved but that smarmy Western Council is too stubborn.' Fuze sighed, understanding her discontent with the rewards. Thus everyone's goal is to become a B-Rank adventurer to at least earn a gold coin per job. It's a highly-competitive industry as a result.'
"You gotta be joking." Mizora twitched.
2 silver coins is already a cheap inn/hotel stay a night. About 2000 yen. At least 1500 cheaper than even a capsule hotel in Japan, but still?!
1 bronze = 10 yen
1 silver = 1000 yen
1 gold = 100.000 yen
The living standards in this world is rather low compared to modern earth, in which peasants in rural county may not have even seen a gold coin for their entire life.
Well, she should take as many jobs as possible. Foraging Rewards earn as much as 50 bronze coins up to 3 silvers.
The good thing is that food here is cheap, if silver coins is usable as salary. But seriously...7 silvers is already decent by standards here, ideal salary for a family they say, is 20 silver a month per parent. This way they can earn for their own house, before working on furniture and other things.
And she has to be careful with her spending as her current income level is cheap.
And she can train in the forest with her real sword and raise her level.
Fun.
Just like in anime and she's really living it now!
In the forest, she changed her outfit and equipped her real weapon. With her quest forms in her bag, she set forth.
Besides, she's a cheat in existence.
If the natives here will have to sweat blood just to get promoted, thanks to her skills, she has an easy life in comparison. Not only that, having so many Unique Skills made her magicule levels pretty high...about as much as an A-Rank monster even if her skills...don't pay the bills. But as she compensates with magic and Gorgon Eye, having a high MP is good for her.
Thus, she spent two years leveling up...and earning money.
Unlike most people...
...she doesn't need to waste her money on Potions.
But her success rate is so high that one year later, she got called to Fuze's Office.
'Mizora, you have high success rates, not bad for a kid.' Fuze mused, reading her records compiled in a book. 'But still, these results for a kid your age is insane. If I chuck a kid your age in the forest, they won't make it back alive even with magic. But all your jobs are solo done, yet you succeed in all of them. I feel that...'
'I'm hiding something?' Mizora piped up, going cutesy on him.
'Aa.'
'Well, I can conceal what I can really do right? Because I'll be in danger if I didn't.' Mizora told him. Fuze stiffened at her words and suspects something about her.
'...you probably have Skills that almost no one here has, other than Magic and Arts.' said Fuze. 'Its the only way for you to have a crazy success rate.'
'Yeah. If I didn't have Skills, I'd be sweating blood too just to level up in rank.' said Mizora. 'I'm earning for a new sword before I take my promotion exams. I got all requirements met after all. I just need a new toy to get official.'
Fuze did mental calculations of Mizora's records.
She can afford a Special Grade weapon now. She managed to accomplish more than required missions for promotion.
'Speaking of earning, you never purchased a single potion. You didn't even buy a low-level potion!' Fuze commented.
'Unnecessary.' Mizora took out a small dagger she has and cut her arm to Fuze's horror...but her injury healed very quick. '...why would I waste money on Potions when I got this?' his jaws dropped.
'...it makes sense now...you have that kinda Extra Skill...' he gasped out, wide-eyed. Self-Regeneration is too slow for what Mizora had. Hers was way too quick!
'But still, getting hurt is no fun...breaking bones and getting gored...I'm just glad I heal quick.' said Mizora sardonically as Fuze looked queasy at the notion. 'Even blood loss don't matter. I just make sure I don't get hit in three fatal places and I'm good to go. Don't tell anyone my Skill alright?'
Fuze pursed his lips.
He wasn't ignorant to what's going on behind the scenes and so was she. But he was powerless to call people out on it.
Exploitation of People with Skills, recruited by Nations by force to bolster their military power. Even kids aren't spared.
She registered in Ingrassia, but was sparse with information on registration on purpose. Claiming to be a street kid who lives wherever so yes, N/A!
'Yeah, I won't.' said Fuze. 'You be sure nobody finds out either.'
'Of course.'
