Present Time
In Blumund Guild...
There's an influx of supplies, making Pharmacists happy as well as Mages specialized in making Potions...except the in-demand Hipokute to make Healing Potion.
The one responsible for that, is now taking an exam, wearing Special-Grade gear and wielding a just-as-classy sword.
'You were a D-Rank Adventurer in terms of fighting ability according to records.' said Jiggis the Examiner. 'We'll see if you'll get promoted or not to make you eligible for higher-level jobs.' he said as they were in a magic circle now. 'I'll summon a C-Rank beast. To be eligible for B-Rank, Guildmasters administer the exam for safety purposes. So when applying for B-Rank, gain his approval first.'
'Alright.'

Mizora definitely worked hard.
She trained her body to reach it's peak physical condition by following her instincts. Thus her arms are toned, and her body has no excess fat in it, giving her a small waistline. Her hips are flared as she trained her leg muscles thus shapely and powerful. By training her body to peak condition, she is now physically strong to truly make her Limit Break worth it.
It helps that she ate monster meat during her training days. She uses Flame Manipulation to cook monsters alive for her and she eats it during her training.
Monster meat is nutritious, especially powerful ones too strong for her to fight, thus really reliant on fire to kill it. There are ways for the weak to defeat the strong, you just gotta be smart! Well, her ideas are too much for the natives limited by their own fears anyhow. Her? No such thing. She has a large amount of magicules, and she can take some from the forest as needed to cast large scale spells.
She also learned magic in Blumund by applying into Magician's Guild to expand her craft...but only choosing to learn Engraving Magic and Elemental Magic. Besides, she played video games in the past so she has her own ideas taken from it.
She uses magic for absolutely everything. This also trained her mind and in turn her mental strength as magic uses mental power as a medium to manipulate and control magicules to create the desired effects. More powerful spells require greater power. Thus even her own mental fortitude gets training. A well-trained mind makes casting easier and faster in processing to the point she can cast in a blink with no need for incantations and gained Extra Skills Magic Sense and Chant Annulment as a result.
Magic Sense is VERY HANDY as she can see magicules so she knows how much she can exploit to aid her magic in locations.
And eating powerful monsters gives her quality muscles she wants and needs without the need to ever bulk up. For normal humans, the more muscles the better to the point you look like bodybuilders. But quantity is not always the answer. It's quality. You eat highly-nutritious food and train right in equal measure to reap the rewards.
By eating these powerful aggressor monsters and training right, she reached peak physical strength for a girl her age, and enjoyed breaking her limits to be physically powerful despite her looks. She breaks limits to increase quality gain of her bones, muscles and organs permanently thus very useful during Battle Limit Breaking. Thus strong enough to lift a small boxed car with one arm by her own estimation, but cannot lift any more than that due to limitations of her age.
But one day, she met some majin dressed in armor and they looked like they have one hell of a time and not in a good way.
'Excuse us miss, but is it possible for us to have some?' the redheaded man asked her politely.
'Sure. This one takes me four months to eat by myself anyway...I'm training in this forest.' said Mizora. 'Plenty for a party.'
'We're grateful.'
'...have you encountered Orcs?' the old man asked her as they sat with her.
'No...I made sure I don't encounter dangers beyond me...my skill enables me to detect danger I can't handle and I avoid it...what about orcs?'
'There's an army of them roaming around, eating anything that moves.' said the gray-skinned one. 'They destroyed our village not long ago.'
His words got Mizora in utter disbelief.
'A-anything weird?' she asked shakily at their claims. 'You guys are Ogres! It's impossible for Orcs to lay a hand on Ogres! Did the sun rise from the west?!' Mizora exclaimed, wide-eyed in shock. 'Strength difference alone!' the redheaded man looked vexed, clenching his fists.
'That's what gets us vexed...they're too strong suddenly...and they have plate mail and sophisticated weapons.' he bit out bitterly. 'We are strong alright, but our equipment...'
Yeah, there's that, Mizora thought, eyeing their gear.
Equipment will always make the difference. The Ogres possess Normal-Grade goods. Yeah. If Orcs suddenly possess classy goods...
Her intuition headed in a direction.
'Orc Lord...not only that, someone's making use of the Orc Lord.' the ogres froze at her words as they recognize the monster she spoke of after the term jogged their memories. 'As you know, Orcs under Orc Lords gain the power of what they eat at the cost of eternal despair if an Orc with potential evolves wrong. They have no need for equipment and you say they have armor and weapons...someone's making use of them.' she said worriedly.
'Giving them arms, but exploiting their eternal insanity and hunger to disrupt this whole forest. If they had no backer, they wouldn't win against you had things gone naturally. Not everyone, even us humans can afford to have Rare-Grade Equipment. Too expensive due to material scarcity.' that, was something the ogres agree on. 'We should talk to a reliable person after you guys get lunch. Such a person lives about six days away southwest from us on foot.'
'Who is this person?' the old man asked her.
'He is extremely unique for a Slime...powerful and capable.' the ogres had trouble believing her.
Hello?
Slime? Slime and powerful don't belong in same sentence?
'His name is Rimuru Tempest. Met him and got acquainted.' Mizora chirped, remembering times getting to know a fellow otherworlder though he was a reincarnate as opposed to her stray status. 'He is building a village for Hobgoblins he Named near Ameld River and Veldora's Cave. Hobgoblins aside, there's also a Named pack of Tempest Wolves, and four dwarves he hired. You can get new and better equipment there.'
The Ogres exchanged looks.
Slimes are weak monsters with no sentience, capable of only three things. Snacks at best for monsters on a hot summer day.
Yet this one is an oddball existence this human claims to be powerful and reliable? Named a village of monsters and hired dwarves? This is way too weird.
'...we'll take your word for it.' and they sat down to have lunch with her. 'You're skilled to kill a monster like this.'
'Not really. My equipment is garbage like yours until I get new gear from the dwarves. It's not done yet in the forge.' Mizora snorted. 'I rely on magic to get by, by cooking this guy inside-out to win.' she admitted, glancing at her cooked ration. 'If I used my sword on this fella, it'll snap and I'll be food. I have skill alright, I can win against humans and some monsters, but in the face of a monster like this with cheap gear, I will lose even if I spent my whole life training.' she said wryly. She makes sense, the ogres thought as the girl is a child by human standards. 'We'll make use of this guy as provisions till we get to Rimuru's village.'
'What about water though?' the pink-haired oni asked her.
'Easy!' Mizora gathered water using magic. 'Fresh, clean and cold to be refreshing.' she said, carving a large sake cup out of the earth she turned into solid smooth rock, before putting water in.
'Ahahaha...sorry for the trouble...'
'Well, I have no idea how tribes work in manners so its best to play it safe sometimes...everyone has different cultures and etiquette that what's normal for you will offend someone else and get you killed...we adventurers get warned that during Orientation when we join.'
'Ah...'
'Well, you'll have to muscle your way through the carapace to get to the meat inside...' so the men did the job for the women with them.
After eating their fill, they made their journey to Rimuru's village that indeed, took days, and their mental stress recovered during travel with Mizora as she made travel easy and stress-free.
Hot Baths in the middle of nowhere with cleaning materials she called soap and shampoo? They never felt cleaner! Washed and instant-dried clothes? Comfortable ground to sleep on? And easy access to sustenance. Ogre Princess learns from Mizora in the process.
Days later, they encountered Rigur's Hunting Team.
'Welcome back Mizora.' Rigur greeted. 'Your gear should be done by now.' the ogres have long known goblins to be tiny, child-like unintelligent species, but these guys are tall, muscular and gained intelligence enough to speak straight now...but that's weird. Not even Hobgoblins are this smart...nor as big and muscular had they evolved naturally. So this is the effect of Naming? They become better than what's natural?
'Thanks Rigur!' Mizora chimed. 'Though I'm not here for fun...I gotta bring these guys to Rimuru. Trouble's coming.' she sighed. 'The ogres have quite a story.' the hunting team gulped at how foreboding she sounded. 'Ranga, tell Rimuru through Thought Communication we'll talk in his house and to invite the dwarves over.' she instructed Ranga.
'OK.' Ranga spoke in her group's minds while in real time, he barked like any wolf would. 'I'll tell master.'
And so...
'Ranga told me stuff is going on and you guys have quite the tale.' said Rimuru as after bouncing into his house, he became a boy before the ogres, cementing Mizora's tale about him while followed by four dwarves.
But for Mizora, she never knew he has a human form before...did he evolve?
The ogres told them what happened to their tribe.
'Orc Lord indeed. That's bad news...the only way to stop the Orcs as they are now, is to kill Orc Lord or this'll never end, until all life is eaten by them.' said Kaijin grimly. 'And we have no idea where the Orc Army is now...'
'Mizora, what does your Skill tell you?' Rimuru asked Mizora grimly. 'We need to know so we have time to give the Ogres equipment.' Mizora's eyes glowed orange, a sign she is using her skill.
'The Orc Army is currently immobile in a cave network fifteen days away from us in southeast. It seems they are made to stay there while languishing from hunger...some are dying so they offered their bodies to Orc Lord...' that got her listeners queasy from the mental image painted.
'That's enough time for us.' said Kaijin seriously. 'We'll work as a team to make weapons for you guys. Mizora's gear is complete, so we can work on theirs now.' Mizora lit up at this.
'Whoa, really?! That's great!' Mizora chimed in relief.
'Thanks to you providing us materials and your ability, we can craft things we can only dream of in our lifetime!' Garm laughed happily. 'We can craft Unique-Grade equipment!' that got the ogres choking at their claims. Unique-Grade?!
Rare-Grade is rare enough as it is!
'Anyways Rimuru, we got another thing to do.' said Mizora.
'What is it?'
'I told the Ogres you're reliable, and we gotta prove it by two of us sparring.' said Mizora. 'We can spar all out, just avoid killing blows and no magic either or this village is goners. Arts only.'
'Alright.' Rimuru agreed. 'Go get your sword from Kaijin's workshop and we're good to go.'

Outside the village, in a spacey area...
Mizora's unique-grade sword is in brown and gold colors with a silver blade, something out of a manhua. The sheath disappears at Mizora's will when drawn. Rimuru's sword is out of katana format.
Mexican stand-off...before they got into an all-out fight, showing their fighting ability that greatly impressed the ogres in hi-speed, agility, physical prowess and skill in sword. They're also fine with getting nasty wounds and amputation since they simply regenerate!
Mizora simply pulls back her amputated limbs, attaches it back and heals. As for Rimuru, blue blob comes out and forms into a limb. Arm or leg don't matter, though it's understandable he's barefoot the rest of the way.
'W-what healing ability...what skill is that?' Ogre Princess gasped out as they watched in shock. 'They heal so fast they don't need Potions!'
'It's Ultra-Regeneration...an Extra Skill Rimuru has being a unique slime, evolved from a slime's Self-Regeneration Trait. Mizora also has the skill from being an Otherworlder.' Kaijin explained. 'Otherworlders gain skills through wishes born from their hearts, materialized and manifested as Unique Skills or Extra Skills gained from magicules gained during world travel. Even for us who evolve upon getting stronger, we gain through wishes as well upon evolution and desire.'
'By regenerating, human Mizora can push herself far in training as she easily heals from muscle pains from training. She thus has potential to evolve into either a majin, or into an Enlightened Human. She pushes herself hard on a daily basis out of fear of being discovered by human nations and...forcibly recruited against her will as human nations desired Otherworlders as military living weapons to bolster their power. She works hard...a little too hard that she threw childhood out the window since she was here at ten years old. Been four years since.' he said, feeling sorry for Mizora. 'She is allied with Rimuru and thanks to her skills, she knows who to trust and who not to. If she is very open and friendly to people, she trusts. If very closed off and distant, that's a sign that person or group is untrustworthy as she read you.'
'So that's how it is...that speaks a lot of her background. A troubled child who clearly had no one.' the old ogre shook his head. 'She had to rely on skills to trust people.'
'Yeah. That's what Rimuru thought too.' said Kaijin with a sigh.
Soon, the pair decided end match.
'Sooo how are we?'
'Lastly, how strong is Rimuru in magicules?' red ogre asked Rimuru. 'We are amazed with your fighting ability indeed, but what about magic?'
"Ehehe...Great Sage, form an unseen barrier around us so only our group can feel my pressure." Rimuru instructed Great Sage.
Understood.
Upon knowing it's formed, Rimuru released his full power that horrified both ogre and dwarf, as Rimuru manifested his full aura as reiatsu, as both he and Mizora watched anime and took a page off of Bleach.
"Gah?!"
"Very strong! Is he really a slime?!"
Rimuru did that for ten seconds before stopping and barrier was removed. The others are sweating in shock while Mizora was unfazed. Both of them are A-Class in power after all.
Rimuru is stronger than her as by being a slime, he constantly absorbs magicules thus grows stronger. He also ate all monsters in Veldora's Cave and took their power for himself.
As for her, her magicules came from the power that manifested her Unique Skills. She gained a huge amount beforehand and by using Limit Break, she too, constantly absorbs without succumbing to Magicule Poisoning like all humans do.
Thus, she can evolve one day.
She can feel it coming as her power is brimming strangely within her and her instincts say so.
Soon.
