AU. When Maria discovers a family member she didn't even know she had, she, with help from Captain von Trapp, embarks on a journey to help him find his place in the world. Along the way, she might just find her place as well.

I guess this is AU, but not in the beginning. Maria helps the Captain keep the children safe from the Nazis. Takes place after the boat accident and becomes AU after the party scene.

AU-When fleeing after the convent (via the train) the Von Trapp family are separated and Liesl and Brigitta are taken by Herr Zeller. Sending a reluctant Maria ahead with his children Georg stays behind in order to reunite his family. And hell hath no fury like a father whose little girls are in danger.

Maria and Georg take their newborn son to see the Reverend Mother, and as well as their loving reunion, and reflecting on all that has happened over the past year, the three of them relive some of the most heart-warming memories the occurred throughout the pregnancy...
