Just a quick drabble about how I think the cut scene before the final Kingdom Hearts boss battle should go. Birth by Sleep and Dream Drop Distance spoiler warning. And yes, I am considering Kairi Gaiden as part of this (obviously).

Day 27: Something Weird? / I was in Roxas's room this morning, making sure he was okay, and then Lord Xemnas came in. I had to leave, but I stopped by the door for a moment and I heard Lord Xemnas say something really weird: "You're sleeping again." [ one-shot. ]

Zexion didn't mean to summon Demyx. He didn't mean to become friends with him. He didn't mean to let him stay this long, but things don't always work out the way you want them to.

Demyx has spent six years of his life in cold, drizzly New York City, miles away from his previous home in California. Roxas and Axel can't leave until the mission is finished. Thankfully, Axel knows how to pass the time.

Lea's a mess and Ventus can't fix it. Cue ugly sobbing. OR: When you lose people close to your heart, it tends to shatter into tiny bite size pieces and if you haven't had a heart in a while, you tend to ignore it until you're literally bleeding all over the guy who isn't Roxas and never will be.

Cloud's gaze flicked briefly to the silver haired teen sat next to Sora and immediately felt pity. The poor boy looked like he was going to die of embarrassment. At this rate, Sora would be lucky to even get him to speak to him again, let alone get another make out session. Cloud needed to do something to cool things down, and if he possibly could, save his adopted son's love life.

Miles beneath an island in the middle of an ocean is a network of underground tunnels and caves from which an unfamiliar relic has been unearthed. Ansem and his four assistants - Sora, Roxas, Riku and Axel - are charged with heading down there to find more. Deep underground. A long way from civilisation. And a long, long way from help, should anything go wrong... AkuRoku/RiSo.

Axel isn't real so these twinges in his chest where his heart should be aren't real either. OR: Roxas made Axel feel like he had a heart and I lost control of my life crying over these two dorks.
