Chapter 1: A Hero Rises

In the streets of Japan everyone in City Z were enjoying the peace and serenity that generated from everyone. As busy as the streets were the buildings filled with people were busier, but a giant smoke cloud formed in the distance gaining the civilians attention. When the smoke cloud started getting bigger there was a bluish purple blur racing past buildings causing all kinds of destruction, causing the civilains to retreat to another town.

"Evacuate City Z, the threat Level Dragon!" A feminine voice echoed out into a large speaker.

Throughout the City now known as City Z was in absolute chaos, fires spreading, buildings laid in ruins, but one building containing a legend was residing. Inside the room was a single spaced room, with a shelf full of anime figures and manga, had a collection of Sumo Summer merchandise, a television, a bed off to the left and a table in front of the television. Over by the front door resided the kitchen which was small and by the tv was his sliding door to the balcony. The boy gazed at the tv and saw the destruction and the harm it was causing everyone.

He grabbed his green leather jacket that had the number 10 in a black patch on the left pectoral, with a white line stretching over it and two vertical white lines on the right side, "Guess I'll go." He replied with a sly smirk on his face as he slid his arms through his jacket. On his left wrist was a weird watch, with a green and black faceplate in the form of an hourglass. The dial was silver with silver pegs on the sides while the band was green with a black stripe in the middle.

He spun the dial and immediately a hologram of a figure appeared spinning it repeatedly, he found the figure he wanted and smiled widely, "IT'S HERO TIME!" He slammed his hand onto the faceplate and was engulfed in a emerald green light.

A large muscular bluish purple alien stood in the middle of the once reknown City Z, body's of various people laid dead around the monster. He scoffed at how weak the human race was as he moved onto the next area.

A little girl sat on the ground crying as she was lost and scared, "Mommy...Daddy..." The little girl cried as the monster approached her.

"How pathetic.." He stated as he extended his left arm out towards her which grew in size and was about to crush her when a streak of blue and black zoomed past his hideous hand and grabbed the girl who fell unconscious, "You're pretty fast, who are you and where did you come from?!" He asked a bit angry that someone interrupted his hunt.

"You don't need to worry about who I am, because you won't live long enough to remember me." The streak replied, the alien parasite looked the mysterious monster up and down. He has a black cone shaped head, blue skin, in a black and white jumpsuit, claw shaped hands, standing on circular objects, with a black and blue striped tail. He had a mask of shorts over his face with a strange circular badge in the middle of his chest that was green and black in the shape of an hourglass.

"Is that so? I was formed from the pollution brought upon the Earth, I am Vaccine Man!" He shouted as veins started growing all over his body, "I don't know where you came from, but I'll make sure to end you for interfering in my work."

"Is that right? Well don't blink." The blue velociraptor stated, confused by his statement Maxine Man blinked and he was gone. The next moment the velociraptor reappeared and punched him in his jaw that sent him back a few feet, "I told you don't blink." He stated as he reeled back his visor and Vaccine Man got a look at his face. His face was blue with pure green eyes, and black lines raced around his eyes and mouth.

"That was some hit, what are you?" Vaccine Man questioned the Kineceleran.

"I'm a hero who's gonna put you in the ground." He replied with a raspy voice as his visor slid down and he raced towards him in a blur of blue and black striking him in different places. Maxine Man would see him for a moment, but he'd be gone before he could even touch him.

Having enough of him, his body started growing even more and exploded in a blast of power knocking him off his feet. XLR8 slid his visor up as his body rivaled some of his aliens, 'I need a new approach, if speed won't work maybe I can try something else.' He thought as he reached towards his chest where his dial rested and slammed it. In an emerald green flash in XLR8's place was a seven foot tall figure wrapped in green vines with leaves covered in various places, his forearms were a mix of orange and yellow, his feet were roots, his face was wrapped in vines with flame like patterns erupting from his hair. The dial was wrapped in between the light green and dark green vines, "SWAMPFIRE!!" The figure revealed as the emerald light died down.

"Where'd you come from? What happened to that speed monster from earlier?" Vaccine Man questioned as his fists tightened revealing more veins around his body.

"We're the same person, but don't worry I'm gonna keep my promise." The Methanosian replied as his hands opened to reveal balls of flames erupting from them.

Vaccine Man smelled the Methanosian and replied angrily, "Someone like you is harmful to the Earth, so for that I must get rid of you!" Maxine Man quickly rushed the Alien Hero who's face quickly closed up into a mask as he blasted a torrent of flames at the parasite. The being created from the Earth was pushed back with burn marks covering his body. Swampfire raced forward as tendrils shot out of his arms and became swords.

He slashed at him multiple times as the parasite started dodging him, but a few of his slashes connected and were oozing bluish purplish blood, "You're good, but you gotta do better than that!" He screamed as he punched the Methanosian in the chest and watched as he sent him flying.

Swampfire collided with the rubble and groaned as he watched Vaccine Man approach him, getting back up Vaccine Man grabbed hold of Swampfire's left arm and tore it off and quickly grabbed him by his throat lifting the Methanosian off the ground, "You're not as strong as I thought you'd be, but it's over now. Time to die." He replied with a sinister smile on his face.

"I wouldn't count on it." Swampfire replied as vines sprouted from his left arm and reconnected with the stump of his left, "I may not have enough firepower to beat you, but I know someone who does." Thrusting both arms forward a torrent of flames washed over Maxine Man sending him backwards, he looked back at Swampfire who smirked slyly, "Time to go, Ultimate!" He stated as he smacked his dial and four prongs appeared on the sides and another emerald flash erupted the area.

Swampfire's body was transformed into a tree who's color was dark brown. He had a large blue pod ontop of the tree like body which showed his face. He has three gooey shells on both his forearms. Sporting the evolved dial on his chest, "ULTIMATE SWAMPFIRE!!! What do you say Maxy, round three?" The hyper-evolved Methanosian asked in a nasally voice.

Vaccine Man gritted his teeth as he charged toward him, with a smirk on his face he thrusted his arms forward and a blast of blue flames erupted and hit Maxine Man head on.

Vaccine Man definitely felt the power behind that attack as the heat was dialed up, "Im-Impossible, his flames are even hotter?!"

"Yes, and with this I'll be the victor, it's over Vaccine Man." Raising his arms, "Goodbye." He let out an even stronger blast of blue flames. The flames wiped out everything in its path as it hit the parasite head on. After the flame lights were done he saw that Maxine Man, and the road behind him was reduced to ash, "Good riddance." Smacking the dial on his chest the evolved Methanosian was reverted back to his devolved form, then smacked it again and was reverted back to the boy.

He had brown shaggy hair, pale Caucasian skin, a bit scrawny, and had emerald green eyes. He wore his favorite leather 10 jacket, with a black T-shirt, blue jeans, and tennis shoes. This boy was known as Benjamin Tennyson, the Greatest Superhero to ever live.

After the incident with Vaccine Man, the little girls father named Agoni, started the Hero Association to protect everyone from harm. No one to this day knows who took down Vaccine Man. With the start of Hero's ranging from S Class to E Class the people have been protected from monsters, villains, and criminals.

It had been a year since he took down Vaccine Man and no threats as big as him came, so Ben would do what he usually does. Patrol or binge Sumo Slammers repeatedly. Ben had heard about the Hero Association being created because some mysterious being saved his daughter from Maxine Man and refused to step forward. Ben thought that registering to be a hero was stupid, people shouldn't need to be famous. They needed to able to protect someone instead of being paid for it.

He sighed, inwardly as people all around the world started becoming Hero's in ridiculous costumes. Ben was standing in line inside his favorite supermarket when he felt a tremble and then another and another. Confused as to what was happening when a giant foot destroyed half of his favorite store. Ben's eyes widened as the store was quickly destroyed in a mere moment. A giant brown man who's head was beige and had a speck on his left shoulder.

"Incredible! This is incredible, little brother!" The man shouted thrilled at how much destruction his brother was causing.

"It's amazing, big brother." The giant man replied.

'My goal was to become the strongest man in the world.' The man thought as he kept working out repeatedly, from pushups, sit-ups, running on a treadmill, lifting weights, and more. All he wanted was to be the strongest man in the world. He wore a white wife beater and grey sweatpants.

Off to the side of the room was a small lab with a man with brown hair and glasses wearing a white lab coat, wearing a grey v-neck shirt, and tan pants shrieked in excitement, "Hahaha, at last the ultimate steroid, 'Bicep King' is finished."

He approached the tired buff man who was panting from his extreme training regime with great news, "Little brother!" He called out to the buff man with a strange vial in his hand that had different colors mixed inside, "Drink this and you shall obtain the powers you seek!"

"What? Drink that?" He replied skeptically about the vial in his older brothers hand.

"Indeed. I added a strawberry flavor to make it go down better." He added with a crazed smile on his face.

He smiled geninuely at his older brother, "Big brother." He took the vial from him and chugged it. When he felt his heart stop and his eyes and mouth opened to reveal a bluish greenish light shining as his body started growing bigger. Soon his clothes shredded his body as he kept growing and growing.

His older brother smiled like a maniac as his body grew even more, "Yes this will do!"

Soon the two brothers were wrecking havoc over the different cities as they walked over to City A, "Yes! Destroy them! We'll soon rule over these pathetic ants like Gods!"

"Evacuate! Cities J-Z have been destroyed, Threat level: Dragon!" the feminine voice echoed out to the civilains.

"Yes, big Brother." The giant responded like a robot when a giant emerald light shined behind them and soon was a giant white figure the same height as himself.

The giant white figure had a large head fin that was red in the front and black on the bottom, his arms were white with red fins coming out of them and his neck and wrists were black. His eyes were pure green, he also had red boot like feet. He wore a strange green and black hourglass badge in the middle of his chest, "WAY BIG!!!" The Colossal alien shouted gaining the two brothers attention.

"What? What the hell is that?!" The older brother shrieked as Way Big appeared out of nowhere.

"I don't think you realize all the destruction your causing, but I'm here to stop you." The To'Kustar responded as he crossed his arms over his chest.

"No, I'll never stop I'm the strongest being in the world." He glared daggers at the colossal alien in front of him.

"Strongest being in the world? Yeah right, you'll get that Title after you defeat the strongest being in the world and you know who that Title belongs to?" Way Big mocked his silly claim at being the world's strongest being.

"Who?" He shouted angry that someone was stronger than him.

"Your looking at him." Way Big returned the glare as he uncrossed his arms and got into a fighting stance.

Angered by the To'Kustar's claim, the giant raced forward and cocked his right arm back, throwing a punch towards Way Big, who blocked it and threw a punch of his own hitting the man in the stomach and quickly followed it up to a kick in the side. Staggering back, the giant man raced forward again and threw punch after punch at Way Big who dodged most of them, but took a few hits to his chest and one to his jaw knocking him onto one of the destroyed buildings. Seeing his opening the giant man raced towards him only for Way Big to land a direct kick into his face.

The brothers were seetheing in anger as Way Big got back up urging him to come at himself. Racing forward once again, he threw another punch only to hit a blur. Way Big raced around him throwing multiple punches at him. The older brother soon lost his balance from the constant strikes from the colossal alien and fell off his brothers giant shoulder.

The little brother's eyes widened as his brother went splat on the ground and was replaced with fury, "BROTHER!" He pushed off from the ground and caught Way Big's next punch and decked him straight in the face, "THIS IS YOUR FAULT!" He yelled as he started pummeling Way Big, "YOU KILLED MY BIG BROTHER! I'LL KILL YOU!" With a new burst of strength, he grabbed Way Big by his throat and slammed him into the ground and punched his face into the ground. Not having the opportunity, Way Big used his arms to block most of the hits, but they were getting faster by the second.

'This is insane, his strength is no joke! I gotta think if I go ultimate it'll only drain my time even more. Think Ben, think. I got it!' He thought as he finally got an idea on how to beat this guy. Using his legs he launched the giant man in the opposite direction, landing on multiple buildings.

Seeing his opening he raced forward in a white and red blur and grabbed him by his neck running his race through the ground causing even more destruction. Way Big slammed his face into the ground and stepped on his left shoulder and bent his arm upwards hearing a roar erupt from the man. He tried to throw his right arm forward only for Way Big to bend it in the opposite direction hearing another loud roar erupt. The To'Kustar got up as he kicked him onto his back so he was facing the sky, "I told you before, If you wanted the title you'll have to defeat the world's strongest being." He crossed his right arm over his left in the form of a cross and a blue beam shot outward and hit the man causing a large explosion to occur.

Way Big looked down at the giant man who's body was eviscerated, but his legs were still remaining. Letting out a sigh he slammed his hand onto his badge and in a blinding emerald light Way Big started shrinking rapidly till Ben was in his place. The brunette stuck his hands into his pockets as he grinned wildly, 'Strongest Man, huh? Sounds good to me.' He walked back to his apartment as the citizens of Cities J-Z were partially abandoned due to two colossal monsters duking it out.

In City A, the board of directors of the Hero Association was trying to find someone who was strong enough to deal with this giant menace destroying multiple cities while making its way here.

"What can we do? Who should we send?" One man asked, he had a large bald spot with hair circling his head, he wore a business suit with a red tie, black collared shirt, and black pants.

"Who's strong enough to deal with him?!" Another man asked, he had brown hair slicked back and also wore a business suit. He had a white collared shirt, black tie, and black pants.

While the men were arguing over who to send the doors quickly bursted open to reveal a women who looked to be 18, she had green shrilly hair that curled upwards, she had green eyes, and wore a black dressed that went down to her waist, but the ends had four long flaps, on her feet she wore black flats, "Hey instead of arguing why don't you send me!" She yelled at her superiors who jumped back in fright from the young girls outburst.

"It's not that simple, Tatsumaki." One of the members answered the girl now known as Tatsumaki.

"Oh yeah? Why not?!" She yelled at them a tick mark growing on her head.

"Even with your powers we don't know if you can beat him." Another man answered as everyone nodded to his answer. This man was Kiyoshiro Yamato, he was made 2nd in charge of the Hero Association.

"I'm Terrible Tornado, the 2nd Ranked S Class Hero! I. CAN. BEAT. HIM." She glared at them as some of them looked away from the superpowered girl. A man quickly came running into the room with news.

"Sir Yamato, I have some news for you sir!" The young man breathe out having sprinted up fifty flights of stairs.

"What is it, Itsuki?" Yamato asked as the intern named Itsuki finally regained his composer.

"The giant that's on its way here was beaten!" He yelled everyone went dead silent even Tatsumaki who was usually yelling about everything.

"No way. Did you see anything that beat that monster." Another man yelled out wanting to know about whatever or whoever beat it.

"Some A and B class Hero's reported seeing a giant white monster fighting it and then annihilating him on the spot." Itsuki continued as someone jumped from their seat.

"IMPOSSIBLE! Like a giant white monster would defend us! Quit making stuff up!" This man was Takeo Ren, one of the older board members who didn't like being lied too, "Let's call Blast, maybe he can destroy this being."

"But I'm telling the truth, Hero's wouldn't lie about something like this Mr. Takeo!" Itsuki debated as everyone listened to him.

"Are you sure a white monster was seen fighting this being?" Yamato asked.

"Yes sir, I swear on my life it's the truth." Itsuki announced as Tatsumaki got over her stupor, green light engulfed her body as she lifted off the ground and started flying through the door.

"Where are you going?!" Yamato questioned the psychic women.

"I'm gonna have a look at the body." She replied as she took off from the building and flying through the sky, "I have to see it with my own eyes."

It had been a few hours since Ben declared he was the strongest man alive and battled against that giant man for the title. He was sitting around his room bored, he turned his TV on while reading a book. When the news came on.

"I am Keiko Chiho, from channel 6 and I'm here reporting in City J as a massive battle had just took place between two giant beings. I'm here with an eye witness who saw the battle. Sir can you tell us what you saw?"

"Yeah, that brown giant man, was wrecking havoc and then in a green blinding light that giant white monster appeared out of nowhere and they talked about being the strongest beings in the world and settled it out in a fight, it seemed the giant man was winning until the white monster gained the upper hand and eviscerated him. Then another blinding green light he disappeared." The man explained to everyone on what he saw.

"Wow, that must have been some battle. Thank you sir." She smiled as she went back to the camera, "There you have it everyone, whoever that giant white monster was. Thank you for protecting us."

Ben smiled from his book as he heard her thank him, "Your welcome." He pushed his left hand under his chin and continued reading his book as the news continued.

It had been a few days since he defeated that giant man in City J, Ben was sleeping soundly in his bed when he heard a rumble and then suddenly an arm bursted through his wall grabbing his face and pulling him through his wall and into the street. Landing in the street, Ben looked up as his apartment went up in flames, "MY HOUSE!" Then suddenly he was surrounded by monsters that appeared from the ground.

They were brown with mouths everywhere and black eyes with red pupils. They were bigger and muscular than Ben as he tried backing up, but he couldn't because they surrounded him.

"Who are you monsters!" Ben yelled as he balled up his fists.

"We're the true Earthlings, the Subterranean's and we're coming to invade the Earth. We've annihilated almost 40% of the human race." One of the Subterranean soldiers answered.

"Ok, then so be it." Ben stated calmly as he lifted up his left wrist, "Omnitrix Command Function Override Code 10."

"Command Override Access." The Omnitrix AI responded a few second's after Ben overrided it's Command function.

"Omnitrix, remove time limiter password 0-0-1-0." Ben responded as the Subterranean's looked at him strangely as he talked to his watch.

"Time Limiter Removed." The AI responded as Ben had removed the time limit on the Omnitrix.

"You'll understand the Earth is under my protection so you'll have to go back underground!" Ben yelled as the Omnitrix faceplate launched into the air with a hologram selected, "IT'S HERO TIME!" In an emerald green light Ben was replaced by a twelve foot tall red monster with four arms in a black and white sleeveless jumpsuit. He had two toes with black fingerless gloves on each hand. He had a black line going down his head and onto his chin, "FOUR ARMS!!" The four armed Tetramand yelled out as his four arms extended fully. With the Omnitrix badge resting in the middle of his chest.

"What?! I didn't know humans were capable of becoming monsters!" A Subterranean solider questioned, but was quickly silenced as Four Arms punched him in the chest launching him backwards.

"Who's next." He glared at the monsters as they roared in anger and launched at him. Four Arms started punching them one by one as they came at him from every direction. Two launched on his back, but were quickly dealt with as he slammed them into each other as they were sent flying. Four Arms punched an even larger version of the Subterranean monsters and watched as he collided with another subterranean solider.

Four Arms slammed the ground as they stumbled trying to approach him when he raced towards them, the badge on his chest glowed a bright green and a blinding green light he was replaced with a large man with greyish-yellow skin, a muscular body, a black mullet, large generators on his back, with bolts on his neck and abdomen. He had stitches on his left shoulder and right forearm. His gloves, boots, and generators were grey. With the Omnitrix badge placed in the middle of his chest, "FRANKENSTRIKE!!" The Transylian yelled out, charged forward as green electricity generated from him and shocked the coming Subterraneans. He grabbed one by the head and slammed his face into the ground as another quickly jumped on his back. When soon more piled on top of him, using his electricity the subterranean dog-pile was soon gone as green electricity was soon replaced by the Transylian charging through them.

When larger Subterraneans started appearing and Frankenstrike grinned widely as the badge on his chest glowed brightly and soon a seven foot tall figure was soon standing in his place. He had green/blue diamond like material covering his entire body. He was in a purple sleeveless jumpsuit that covered him from head to toe. He had two large shards on his back and two smaller ones on his chest. With the Omnitrix badge in the middle of his chest, "DIAMONDHEAD!!!" The Petrosapien announced as both hands morphed into large blades and the blood bath continued. He soon started slashing through the Subterranean's like butter watching them fall one by one. He morphed his right arm into smaller shards and launched them at the larger enemies coming his way. Diamondhead soon slammed his foot on the ground as a trail of diamonds shards extended from them killing multiple Subterranean's at once. His left arm was a giant blade, he used to plunge it into the Earthlings head.

Soon he was surrounded by even bigger Subterranean's and gritted his teeth as the badge on his chest glowed a bright green and soon a twelve foot tall brown dinosaur was standing in his place, with the Omnitrix badge in the middle of his chest, "HUMUNGOUSAUR!!" The Vaxasaurian announced as he started growing. His shoulders, chest, forearms had armor plating on them, rock plates soon grew from his head to his tail which had four metal spikes on them. He was now sixty-five feet tall. He rammed into one of the larger Subterranean's and grabbed his legs as he spun him around and hit the smaller ones, the larger ones all charged forward, Humungousaur quickly ducked a punch aimed at his head as he slammed his armor covered fist into one of the Subterranean's chest. He raced through them as he ducked and dodged them swiping his tail at them with full force. He launched onto the incoming bridge as they quickly followed after him. He picked up a large car and flung it at one of the Subterranean's as he soon caught it, the Vaxasaurian slammed his fist through it punching the larger Subterranean in the face. As they glared at the shape-shift in anger they soon all raced towards him and dog piled on him.

Gritting his teeth, he tapped his badge and four prongs popped out and soon another emerald light engulfed the area blasting all the Subterranean's off of him. His skin was dark green, with dark blue armor similar to an Anklyosaurus. His head was in the form of an helmet with two large spikes running off the sides, his back armor had large spikes running along the sides, his plated chest and torso have five spikes on each end, and his tail has a blue mace at the end covered in spikes. His knuckles have silver barrels on them which morph into a rocket launcher, he also has black claws. He wears the evolved Omnitrix badge in the middle of his chest, "ULTIMATE HUMUNGOUSAUR!!" The evolved Vaxasaurian yelled out.

The Evolved Vaxasaurian morphed his hand into four barreled rocket launchers and immediately opened fire on the Subterranean's watching them explode. He soon ceased fire and raced forward as he slammed his larger fists into there faces and one by one he took each of them down. He morphed his hands again as rockets flew out repeatedly and hit the smaller subterranean soldiers.

Soon Ultimate Humungousaur was standing on a pile of either unconscious or dead Subterranean soldiers when more rumbling erupted from the ground and soon an even bigger, four armed, possibly stronger Subterranean emerged his eyes on the Evolved Vaxasaurian.

"I see you've kept my children company, but it's the end for you, I am the King of the Subterraneans." The Earthling King announced as Ultimate Humungousaur smiled wildly.

"I said if before and I'll say it again." His deep gruff echoed out, "THE EARTH IS UNDER MY PROTECTION AND I WON'T LET ANYONE HAVE IT!"

"You interest me, let's see how long you last against ME!" He bellowed as he raised his massive arms into the air and smashed them into the road.

Ultimate Humungousaur raced forward his hands morphed into rocket launchers and started shooting the Earth King as they barely did anything. Dodging a strike from his large sword, he cocked his large fist back and punched the king in the face as he wobbled back stunned by how much strength, the evolved Vaxasaurian displayed.

"Don't tell me that's all you've got!" He yelled as he raced towards the evolved Vaxasaurian in rage.

"NOT EVEN CLOSE!" Ultimate Humungousaur yelled back as they clashed again and again. Neither back down it was a test of strength and both individuals possessed monstrous strength. The evolved Vaxasaurian dodged multiple slashes from the Earthling King. He leaped into the air and swung his maced tail knocking the Earthling King back a few feet.

His's arms morphed into rocket launchers and repeatedly started shooting him, but the Subterranean King crossed his large four swords into a cross and took the attack head on, but didn't see the next attack. Ultimate Humungousaur charged forward and punched him in the chest and followed it up with a punch into his jaw. He picked him up with an enormous show of strength and tossed him over the already destroyed bridge.

Ultimate Humungousaur leaped of the bridge and landed a few feet from the partially bruised Subterranean King, "Your quite strong, why don't we rule these pathetic humans together." He questioned him as he started getting up.

"Never, I'm the hero who defeats guys like you! I'll make sure your death is quick and painless." The hyper-evolved Vaxasaurian stated in a calm, but deadly voice. As he charged the Subterranean King with his fist raised and slammed them into the Subterranean King's body and face repeatedly making sure to add even more power then he has before always making sure he holds back against people so he doesn't kill them, but now in a world with monsters and villains, "IT'S OVER FOR YOU!" He slammed his fist into the Earthling King sending him flying back, but he wasn't done. He raced forward and launched into the air landing onto the Kings chest making him cough up a purplish liquid. Ultimate Humungousaur slammed his fists straight into his face repeatedly. Once he was done, his arms morphed into rocket launchers and launched them at the barely alive Earthling King. With that attack the hyper-evolved Vaxasaurian stood victorious against the Subterranean race.

"It's over." He tredged to his destroyed apartment and slammed the Omnitrix badge and in a flash of emerald light Ultimate Humungousaur was gone and in his place was a robot like alien skin that is made of golden metal, with black stripes and a transparent piece of green glass on his chest, revealing the gears inside of him. On the green glass was the Omnitrix badge, "CLOCKWORK!!!Time was always on my side." He quipped in a heavy German accent as he held out both hands and green energy bubbles filled them. He closed his eyes and concentrated heavily on everything. Time seemed to be turning backwards from before the Subterranean's attack on the world. Finally releasing his hold on time, in a flash of green, Ben was on his butt, breathing heavily, "Man, reversing time really takes a lot out of me."

He looked at his ruined pajamas and sighed, "Guess I'll buy new ones." He stretched as he looked at the newly repaired City and smiled, 'I'll always protect this place. Time to get more sleep.'
