Chapter 6: Hero or Villain

Ben paled as her powers activated, "Oh shit." On instinct he dodged a street light, she pulled from the cement and threw it at him.

"You have good reflexes, but that alone won't be enough to beat me!" She stated, her cheeks still flushed bright pink.

'Think, I've gotta have something that can match her in power! Alien X? No I don't wanna risk hurting her too badly. Atomix? No if I used him he'll annihilate the whole city block. Come on, Ben, THINK! I've got it!' Ben ducked a trash can from colliding with his head. He rushed forward with his left arm held up, revealing the Omnitrix.

Tatsumaki looked at him in confusion as he spun the dial and a hologram appeared, spinning it repeatedly. Tatsumaki held up her hands and started destroying the streets and buildings around them. She held the rubble above him, 'I'm sorry, but your my enemy. If things could have been different I wish I could have gotten to know you.' She thought solemnly.

Ben finally finding the right alien looked up to see various buildings and streets destroyed and hovering above him. Ben looked at her face and she seemed saddened as she hurled the rubble at him. Slamming his hand onto the faceplate, an emerald light erupted from him.

Tatsumaki shielded her eyes from the blinding light, "What's happening?!"

Ben's body started hardened into crystals, his body turned a magenta color. His lower body, left hand, and his entire right arm were crimson red. Pink crystals litered his entire body. One on his head, two on his chest, two on his back, one on his left shoulder, another on his right shoulder. Five crystals ran down his right arm. There were two crystals on both of his feet. His mouth closed up, with two green eyes. Sporting the Omnitrix badge on his chest, on the top and bottom two small crystals were attached to the badge, "CHROMASTONE!" The Crystalsapien exclaimed as he destroyed the rubble that was surrounding him.

Tatsumaki's eyes widened in shock and surprise as the boy she liked vanished and this monster soon took his place, "What? Where did Ben go? Where did you come from!?"

"I swore I'd never hit a girl before, but right now your not giving me much of a choice." Chromastone replied as he raced forward, his hands started glowing a bright rainbow color as he thrusted them both out and blasted her with his ultraviolet rays.

Tatsumaki dodged the blast as she lost sight of Chromastone, 'Where'd he go?' The Crystalsapien in question flew in from behind her and punched her in the face.

"I hope you'll forgive me for this." Chromastone stated as he tightened his fists.

Tatsumaki smiled as she wiped the bruise on her face, "Your Ben, right? I see you can shape-shift, correct?"

"I am, and I don't wanna hurt you, your actually quite cute and having to hit you hurts me. So let's just call a truce." Chromastone stated that having to hit a girl was a line that even he didn't like crossing.

Tatsumaki's face turned as red as a tomato, 'Cu-cu-cut-cute, He thinks I'm cu-cute.' She turned her attention back to the alien hero, "I'm sorry, but as much as I want to I have to defeat you." She said as a shadow was casted over her eyes. She soon raised her hands as multiple buildings started levitating off the ground.

The Crystalsapien eyes widened, 'Not even Chromastone would be able to destroy all these buildings.' He thought as he started dodging various large buildings that were hurled at him.

He shot multiple ultraviolet beams from his hands as they closed in on him. The two large crystals from his back popped out and he blasted the ultraviolet rays into them and soon the crystals shot the rays at multiple buildings reducing them into rubble, 'I can't keep up with her, she's a lot stronger than this I can feel it. If I use Way Big I'll just be a bigger target. Humungousaur and Ultimate Humungousaur would be good, but it'll run down their stamina. Oh, I know!'

"You can't win, Benjamin." She replied as Chromastone flew around the buildings trying to hide from her. He flew into one of the floating buildings, 'What's he doing?' She thought as an emerald light engulfed the entire room, her eyes went wide when another monster shot out of the building.

"ECHO ECHO!" The Sonorosian exclaimed as five more duplicated from him, "Ready boys, we've only got one shot at her." The Echos nodded as they locked arms and started swinging each other around until they had enough speed. With that they let go and the main Sonorosian flew out the building towards Tatsumaki. He flipped into the air and let out a sonic scream that made Tatsumaki yell in pain.

Echo Echo duplicated himself again and out came six more clones. They let out another sonic scream which made her scream in pain this time her powers deactivated and sent the buildings crashing into the ground. Not really thinking his plan through, he slammed his hand onto his badge and another emerald light erupted. In Echo Echo's place was a feline like alien with a black and blue color scheme. With the same green and black hourglass in the middle of his chest, "FASTTRACK!" The Citrakayah yelled out as he flipped and raced against the buildings.

He spotted Tatsumaki falling and immediately raced after her. He launched from multiple fallen buildings and finally he caught the psychic girl in his arms. The Citrakayah soon landed on the ground with the girl in his arms. He turned around and saw how much destruction they caused. He placed her on the ground and slammed his hand onto his badge, with another emerald flash Fasttrack was gone and in his place was a large gold robot with a green glass pane on his chest revealing his gears, with the Omnitrix badge in the middle of his chest, "CLOCKWORK! I can already tell this is gonna be a lot of work." The Chronosapien stated in a heavy German accent.

Both his hands started glowing green and soon everything started reversing. The buildings Tatsumaki pulled from the ground were soon restored to their original state before Ben started destroying them. The streets were quickly soon restored in a matter of seconds. Everything was soon back to how it was before the two hero's started their battle. Clockwork rested his hands on his knees when the Omnitrix timed out, "I hope she doesn't wake up, with the Omnitrix on recharge mode I can't even win. God I hate reversing time. It takes a lot out of me." Ben replied as he was breathing heavily.

He looked over at Tatsumaki, "Echo Echo's sonic scream hit her hard and I can't leave her here." He sighed in annoyance as he picked her up and carried her back to his apartment. Ben gazed down at her face and smiled, even he could feel his face heating up, 'Maybe this won't be so bad.'

Tatsumaki's eyes started fluttering open as she looked at the ceiling, "I'm home?" She questioned drowsily.

"Not necessarily." Another voice responded, her eyes widened when she sat up. She looked around and found she wasn't in her house. The room was small. There was a table next to the bed, a tv next to the balcony, a book case filled with anime figurines and manga next to it, a table that held a computer, and a chair in front of it.

"Where am I? Why does my head and ears hurt so much?" She questioned as she rubbed her ears.

"Your at my place, sorry Echo Echo has a sonic scream that harms people's ears." The voice responded as the voice came into view holding a cup of tea in one hand, "Don't worry it didn't cause any permanent damage."

"Ben?!" Tatsumaki shrieked as he sat down on the ground infront of his guest, "What happened? How'd I get here?"

"I carried you here after our fight. I had repaired all the destruction we caused. I'm sorry." Ben explained then apologized by bowing his head slightly.

"Why are you sorry? I was the one that attacked you, if anyone should be apologizing it's me." She replied as she looked away from the alien hero with a slight blush on her face.

"Why did you attack me?" Ben questioned her.

"The Association has there eyes on you, Ben, and now that I've seen what you can do. It won't be long before they realize it as well." She replied in a very serious tone.

"Wait, are you gonna report what just happened?"

She smiled as she looked at him, "No, I won't. Your secrets safe with me."

Ben could feel his face heating up as he looked away from the psychic women, "Thanks I appreciate that."

"What are you gonna do when the Association finds out about your shape-shifting abilities?" She questioned him.

"I'll think of something." He gave her one of his signature smiles which made even her heart melt, "Do you think you can stand?"

Shaking her head from his hold on her, "I'll try." She kicked her legs from his bed off to the side and tried to stand up only to wobble slightly.

"Think you'll be able to get home, ok?" He asked concerned for her.

'He's worried about me!' She was jumping up and down in pure happiness in her head, "Yeah, I'll be ok."

"You're welcome to...stay if you're not feeling up to going home." He said as his face started turning red.

"Ok." She gave him a genuine smile as she sat back down on his bed. Ben had taken a seat on his bed next to her with a smile on his face as well.

Throughout the night Ben and Tatsumaki exchanged stories with each other. He told her about how he got the Omnitrix, how many aliens he could turn into, the evolution function, when he debuted as a hero, and why he doesn't trust the Association. Tatsumaki was shocked at how much he told her and it made her happy that he trusted her this much. Tatsumaki talked about how her parents were afraid of her, then gave her away to a facility to try and cure her powers, how a monster appeared and how close to death she was. She talked about how Blast saved her life and how he told her to use her powers to protect her sister.

By the end of the story, Ben was livid. Parents are supposed to love their children not be afraid of them. He didn't know how much she's had to endure to get to where she is now.

"I'm sorry, that happened to you. No child should be experimented on." He replied as he hugged her. Tatsumaki couldn't describe the feeling as he hugged her. She knew she could trust him, and just being in his arms proved that feeling of security, "You won't ever have to go through such a traumatic experience as long as I'm breathing."

Her eyes widened at his proclamation and her eyes started watering from how much he cares. Even if she just met him, attempted to kill him, and revealed her past to him. He looked at her beautiful face as he wiped the tears on her face.

"No need to cry." He smiled which made her cry even harder. Ben not having any experience dealing with girls just hugged her, "It'll be ok."

"Thank you." She sniffed wrapping her arms around the alien hero. The two were soon interrupted as a knock broke the twos moment.

Ben raising an eyebrow at the sudden guest let go of the women and got up, "I'll be right back." He left to answer the door.

Genos was on his way to Ben's house after his conversation with Amai Mask last night.

"You shouldn't trust that boy, ya know." He stated which made Genos glare at him.

"What do you mean? I can't trust him!" Genos questioned and yelled at the A-Rank hero.

"There's something else he's hiding from you, don't you ever get that feeling from him?!" Amai replied as he just couldn't trust Ben, "If he turns out to be a threat to humanity, I'll put him down if I have too."

"You touch one hair on his head, I'll put you down as well." Genos glared harder at him as Amai sighed in annoyance.

"Fine, but when that day comes, I'll reveal to everyone what kind of person he really is." Amai Mask stated as he left first.

Genos glared at him as he was no longer in view, 'What he doesn't know is, Master had already told me everything. Master is right I can't trust that man. I should be careful in the future.'

Genos heard footsteps approach the door and soon it opened revealing the alien hero in his usual black on black attire, "Good morning, Master."

"Morning Genos." He stated as he opened the door wider as the Cyborg soon walked into the apartment to see the S-Class Rank 2 sitting on his bed.

"Master? What is Tatsumaki the S-Class Rank 2 doing here?!" Genos questioned as he glared at the green haired women.

"Genos, calm down." Ben replied, "I'll tell you the whole story."

Genos nodded as he sat down at the table as Ben sat across from. Ben then begun explaining how Tatsumaki attacked him last night, her destroying most of City Z, Using Chromastone and Echo Echo against her, fixing up City Z, and him bringing her to his place after he knocked her out.

"So you attacked my master, because the Association has been keeping an eye on him." Genos stated as he stood up. Ben seeing the look in his eye also stood up.

"I did, but it's just a misunderstanding!" She exclaimed standing up as well.

"You were here to kill him, I cannot allow you to even think about harming my master when his guard is down."

"Genos calm down!" Ben yelled as Genos raised his arm towards her. Ben hopped in front of her with a glare spread across his face, "GENOS! STOP!"

"Why master? She tried to harm you, she could be a spy for them?" He questioned how he could trust her after she attacked him.

"I trust her, Genos. She isn't like that, I swear." Ben explained and could see the resolve in his eyes. He lowered his arm and bowed his head.

"Miss Tatsumaki, I'm sorry. Master I'm also sorry for ignoring your judgement!" The Cyborg apologized to the two hero's in front of him.

"It's alright, Genos. Anyway what happened with Amai Mask?" Ben scowled at that A-Rank hero.

"He said I couldn't trust you and that he'll reveal what kind of person you are to the public." Genos told him.

"This is getting really annoying." Ben replied, 'Maybe I'll have Toepick go and visit him.' He thought as the silence was broken when Tatsumak's phone started ringing.

"Oh, sorry. That's me." She apologized as she grabbed her phone, "Hello? No I didn't find him." She mouthed to the two hero's, 'Hero Association', "I'm at home. You need me at the Association? Alright I'm on my way."

"What was that about?" Genos questioned.

"I don't know they were being vague about why I need to come in." She replied.

"Alright, well your free to come by anytime." Ben stated causing the girl to blush heavily.

"Tha-thank you, Be-Ben." She responded as Ben walked her to the front door. Where they said their goodbyes.

He soon came back to see a grinning Genos, "Master, what was that?"

"Oh shut up, you bucket of bolts!" Ben yelled his face begun heating up as Genos started laughing at him.

Floating above the Earth was a large meteorite that looked like it could annihilate multiple large cities. Bits and pieces broke off from the large rock as it headed towards Earth.

The Hero Association didn't know what to do, Yamato sat at the head of the table.

"There is a large meteor heading for City Z, and from how big it is. It will wipe City Z off the face of the Earth." Yamato inquired.

"We'll have to evacuate the city, we can't allow people to die from this. It'll give the Hero Association a bad name." Ren stated.

"I know, but we can't think of anyone, who's strong enough to destroy it."

"How about Genos? He lives in City Z!"

Genos was still making fun of Ben when his phone started ringing throwing both the hero's off. Genos grabbed it and answered, "Hello? Should I go right now then? Understood." He replied as he quickly hung up.

"Sorry, Master. The Hero Association wants me to come in. I will be back later." He stated as Ben narrowed his eyes a bit skeptical on why they need Genos to come in.

"Weird, but don't take too long, Grey Matter and Brainstorm made some blueprints on some upgrades for you to give to Dr. Kuseno. So hurry back." Ben replied as Genos nodded his head.

Genos soon left the apartment and walked down the street ignoring the red twinkle in the sky.

Genos soon entered the City Z, Hero Association building with a black briefcase in hand. He walked into the lobby when another voice spoke out to him.

"Ah, you must be Genos." The older man stated as Genos got a look at him.

He had white spikey hair, white eyebrows, a white moustache, silver eyes, a wrinkled old face, black turtleneck shirt, white pants, and black martial arts shoes. He was slouching a bit with both arms around his back.

"It's very nice to make your acquaintance. I'm Bang." The old man introduced himself.

'Class S, Rank 3, aka Silverfang. He possesses true skill.' Genos inquired as he walked towards Bang, "The Association called me in."

"Everyone else is at their Headquarters. This branch office is empty now. Every Class-S Hero got a call to come here, but you and I are the only ones who showed up." Bang stated as Genos scanned the branch office and found it was just those them here.

"And why is that?" He asked curiously.

"Maybe this branch is too far away or perhaps they're busy. Of course some of the cold blooded ones simply don't bother. We're only called when there's an impossible problem to take care of, and today's dilemma is no exception." He explained, "The threat level is Dragon, meaning it's a worst case scenario. Thirty-five minutes from now a huge meteor will strike City Z. They're asking if nearby Class-S hero's can do anything about it."

Genos gasped lightly, "Meteor?"

"Apparently, it changed paths. That new trajectory means the end for us. The impact will wipe out City Z. I'm afraid there's nothing we can do this time. You should think about evacuating with your loved ones, as the others have.

"Do the citizens know?"

"I was told the powers-that-be would issue evacuation orders Thirty minutes before it hits." Bang replied when suddenly a large siren blared out.

"Attention! This is an important announcement from the Hero Association."

Bang chuckled lightly, "People are sure to panic now."

"And you, old fellow?" Genos questioned wanting to know what Bang was going to do.

"'Old Fellow', is it? I told you, call me Bang." He replied as he turned around and started walking away.

"You are not evacuating?" Genos questioned him.

"There's a dojo for martial arts here that's been in my family for generations. I cannot abandon it." He replied as he swirled his left foot out and his hands up as blue stream came out of them, "First of Flowing Water Crushing Rock. Ever heard of it?" He asked as he gazed at the spot Genos was a few second's ago, "Huh. He left."

"Emergency Evacuation Warning! The Threat Level is Dragon!" She stated as the civilians in City Z tried evacuating, but there was a massive road jam throughout the city, "Evacuate to a safe distance. T-minus twenty-one minutes until meteor impact. City Z will be destroyed."

The civilians all looked up at the large twinkle in the sky. It seemed to be glowing brighter as it descended towards City Z.

"It's huge."

"No way we can escape that thing."

"I repeat please leave as quickly as possible." The announcer replied as a figure came flying on top a building. Genos raced on top of the buildings towards a good vantage point to destroy the meteor.

'So many people have given up hope of surviving this tragedy. It is not just City Z that is in danger. The neighboring cities will also sustain damage. It is too late to evacuate.' He thought as he went zooming throughout the rooftops of the city, "I did not expect to be testing this prototype so soon." He pushed on button on the handle and soon the metal piece on the top case opened revealing the words, 'Arms Mode'.

The case soon went flying out of Genos's hand and into the sky. When it transformed into large brown arms that went soaring back to the blonde Cyborg. As they attached themselves onto his arms. He landed on a rooftop away from the meteor, 'Let me see if an attack from my incineration cannon at full power will do the trick.' The new arms mode went up his neck turning some of his circuitry brown with white lines and three prongs on both sides of his face, 'Me and Master Ben both live here, I cannot possibly evacuate without him.'

Soon a large metal suit came flying through the air leaving behind a bluish white stream as Genos gazed at him in shock, "What is that?" He stated as the being came soaring high into the air. When he landed on a parking garage building, "You are Bofoi, correct?"

"And you are the new boy, Genos." The large machine answered, "Have you come to stop the meteor?"

"Yes." He stated without hesitation, 'Class-S, Rank 7, uses intense firepower to obliterate opponents along with everything in their vicinity. Does he also live in City Z, or did he rush here putting his life on the line to stop the meteor?'

"Bofoi, I am in need of your assistance." Genos demanded help from the other S-Class hero.

"I refuse." He replied simply.

"Why is that?" He asked angrily.

"I only answered the call to field-test my new weapon." He stated as Genos got a look at the large weapon on his back, "The meteor is a perfect target."

"A field test? If that meteor hits, you will die too."

"Fortunately I won't."

"How so?" The Cyborg questioned the large metal robot.

"What you are talking to is a remote-controlled drone. I am a good distance away. Terribly sorry to disappoint you, but my life's not at stake." He responded, "Also, I am not Bofoi. I am Metal Knight. Hero's call each other by their hero names, not their real names, everyone knows that."

The duo soon gazed at the large rock as it got closer, "Looks like it's time. Sorry to cut off our little chat."

Genos scoffed as he soon launched off the parking garage and onto a large building nearby, "Alright!" He replied as his right hand opened and sparks of fire danced out of it.

The back burners on Metal Knights suit erupted into flames as the five torrents on his suit activated, "LAUNCH MISSILES!" Multiple missiles shot out the five torrents and up towards the meteor.

Genos looked behind him and saw him on the parking garage watching the missiles do its job, 'Metal Knight?' He turned back to the missiles as they closed in on the meteor, 'I cannot fire with his missiles in the way.' The missiles hit it's target and caused a massive explosion. The giant lights engulfed the entire sky making everyone sheild their eyes from the blast.

Ben wore his black hoodie, blue jeans, and wore white socks. He was reading a book with his curtains open when he heard a large explosion and soon the entire sky was lite up. He raced out to his balcony and saw a large meteor. He gritted his teeth as he activated the Omnitrix, 'Dammit, why am I always the last to know about things like this!' He launched off his balcony in a free fall as he slammed his hand onto the faceplate.

The emerald green light transformed Ben into a red and white Manta Ray alien, "JETRAY! Gonna have to fly extremely fast! In order to make it on time!" He replied as he opened his arms revealing his patagia and soon soared through the air. After he was airborne, he flew at breakneck speeds heading downtown.

A large brown cloud of smoke filled the sky after the explosion ended. Genos soon peered at the metal armored hero, 'Amazing. Such destructive power. This hero is quite dangerous. I must be careful around him.' Genos thought. His thoughts were soon broken as the meteor broke through the large smoke cloud.

"Unfortunate. Not quite potent enough." Metal Knight stated.

"Thirty-three seconds remain until impact." Genos replies as he scanned the meteor, "To fire my incineration cannon at full power, I need five seconds to charge it." He replied as his core started powering up. Blue lightning soon started generating from it, "But the target is already dangerously close. Additionally, if I do happen to take it out, what then?" He spoke to himself as he kept charging up his core, "The meteor may break apart and still cause a disaster. Will my weapon be powerful enough to stop it?"

"First off, be calm. I see you've lost composure." Bang stated which broke Genos concentration, "Put your mind at ease. You're far too young to be worried about failure. When your back's against the wall, you must take action. Overthinking won't change things. The best course is to muddle through."

'Muddling through is the best course?' He thought as a picture of a smiling Ben came into his mind, 'I must protect Master Ben!' He tore his hoodie off revealing his armorfied silver chest. His large two metal pecs opened up to reveal a blue orb in the center, 'He's right. If the outcome will not change either way, then how can I just die without giving it my all?' He thought as he grabbed the orb which was attached to a hose in his chest. He held out his left arm, as his upper shoulder opened up to reveal a spot for the orb. He soon placed the orb inside and the blue lightning soon erupted from it.

"Bang, GET DOWN!" He yelled.

"Ohh?"

'I will no longer think about failure or repercussions. I will just pour everything I have in ONE SHOT!' He yelled as his eyes completely turned yellow and left arm's incineration cannon erupted in a massive blast of power. Genos yelled in agony as he pushed himself beyond his limits to destroy the meteor. The blast of power hit the meteor trying to stop it's descent.

Jetray saw a blast of power and only one name came into his mind, "Genos!" He flew over to the blast in seconds and landed on a doors walkway. Jetray soon reverted back to normal since Bang and Genos were too busy watching the attack hit the meteor.

"Damn, it's not working!" He cried out as he pushed himself even more.

"Hold on!" Bang shouted with wide eyes, "I think I see the meteor being pushed back!"

Ben had sat down on the walkway his left leg dangling over the edge with his right pulled up to his chest, 'Really? I don't see anything happening?' He thought as he looked at the meteor. He grabbed his hood and pulled it over his head.

"Really?" Genos shouted.

"Nope. It was just my imagination." Bang replied.

Ben had to stifle his laughter from how funny Bang was as he quickly reacted which made Genos angry, "YOU OLD FOOL!"

'So this will be my grave?' He thought as the blast of power soon ceased. Ben knew that it was his turn quickly hopped off the walkway and onto the rooftop with the other two hero's.

Genos fell to his knees as his core was barely active, "Only nine more seconds. Leave now Bang or you will die too."

"Old Man, take care of Genos." A new voice erupted Bang and Genos turned there attention to the fifteen year old that appeared out of nowhere.

"Hm? Who are you? Why are you here, you should have evacuated with your family?!" Bang replied.

"What can I say, I'm as stubborn as a mule." Ben replied as he grinned cheekily, "Watch and learn." He activated the Omnitrix and went racing past the two hero's, 'I gotta use him!'

"IT'S HERO TIME!" He shouted as he slammed his hand onto the Omnitrix's faceplate.

In an emerald flash of light, both Genos and Bang shielded their eyes. Ben's body was more muscular and black with white outlining his body. He had a large chin with three horns on top of his head. Stars littered his entire body. His eyes were wiped green. Sporting the Omnitrix badge in the middle of his chest, "ALIEN X!" The Celestialsapien exclaimed.

Bang and Genos went wide eyes as Ben was replaced by a large figure that resembled the night sky.

"Seconded, meteor destroying motion carried!" Alien X exclaimed as he launched off the building shattering the rooftop and the windows below as well.

"Master?" Genos replied as Alien X went flying into the air.

"This is the end for you!" The Celestialsapien yelled as he punched straight through the meteor shattering it into little fragments. A blue explosion erupted as the fragments went sailing into City Z.

"Unbelievable, he shattered the meteor, by transforming into that night sky creature." Bang reacted not knowing a mere boy was capable of his much destruction.

The fragments were sent crashing into City Z, one of the fragments hit the building Genos and Bang were on leveling it.

"We're slipping."

"No the splintered fragments is spreading throughout the entire city." Bang replied grabbing hold of Genos and shooting off into the air.

Inside the mind of Alien X were two large personalities. One being Bellicus the voice of anger and rage with the other being Serena the voice of love and compassion, with Ben being the voice of reason. Ben sat cross legged in front of the two personalities as they had taken a thirty minute debate on whether to destroy the meteor or not to others it took a split second decision when in reality it took thirty minutes.

"There now that, that meteor is destroyed we can be relived of you, Tennyson!" Bellicus bellowed annoyed with Ben's presence.

"Bellicus, why are you so rageful today?" Ben questioned mocking the anger personality.

"The sooner the meteor is destroyed the sooner you can leave. Or at least let us argue in peace!" Bellicus yelled at their voice of reason.

"Now, Bellicus, Ben here is our guest and we shouldn't treat him like a disease." Serena replied with a compassionate tone.

"See, Bellicus why can't you act like Serena? She enjoys my presence." Ben replied as Serena smiled at him.

"I AM BELLICUS, THE VOICE OF ANGER AND RAGE! I DON'T HAVE TIME TO ACT NICE WHEN MY ENEMIES DON'T!" He yelled.

"Here we go with the anger again." Ben rolled his eyes as Serena laughed at her friends antics.

"Your supposed to be the voice of reason, all I hear is sarcasm and you mocking me." Bellicus stated as Ben shrugged his shoulders.

"Listen here, you guys argue over ridiculous things and want me to be a tiebreaker. Sorry, but half of your arguments don't even need a tiebreaker they just need to end." Ben replied, "You want me to be the voice of reason, there ya go."

"When you say it like that it makes us sound old and grumpy!" Serena yelled as Ben kinda hurt her feelings.

"Nice going, Tennyson."

"Serena, I'm sorry. I don't like using Alien X, because of his massive weakness." Ben stated, "Having to talk to you while my friends are in danger and I can't do anything because you two have to be in agreement with me."

"He does have a point." Bellicus replied which was weird Bellicus never agrees with Ben.

"Fine then, we'll all be on the same page from here on out." Serena smiled.

"So that means?" Ben started as both Bellicus and Serena turned towards him.

"We'll work as a team from here on out." They replied in unison shocking the voice of reason.

"Three minds? One body? Let's do it!" Ben shouted.

Alien X landed on a building with Bang and Genos as a beeping sound could be heard. Bang and Genos looked at the badge on his chest as an emerald light blinded them and soon Alien X was no more, Ben Tennyson was back in his place.

"Incredible, aside from the fragments that hit the City." Bang interjected, "How did you do that? Who are you?"

"I'm Ben Tennyson, a Hero, I'm not listed on the Hero Association's registry, I'm more of a vigilante." Ben introduced himself to the older man who looked at the boy in wonder.

"Master, was that him?" Genos referred to Alien X, "Was he your strongest transformation?"

Bang looked from Genos to Ben as he looked downwards, "Yeah, the biggest thing I have with Alien X, is that I'm not the only person in there."

"What do you mean?" Bang inquired, "If he's your strongest transformation their should only be one person in control?"

"That's just it! I'm not the only one in there, unlike my other forms. Alien X, doesn't have just one personalities, he has three, and we all have to be in a agreement about any decisions the body makes." Ben stated which shock both Bang and Genos.

"Bu-but, you made that decision to destroy the meteor, right?" Genos questioned as Ben looked at the destruction he caused as fire was spreading throughout City Z.

"Actually, for you guys it took literally a second, but for me. It was thirty minutes." He revealed shocking both Bang and Genos.

"Impossible!" Bang shrieked which made Ben look at him.

"By the way, who are you old man?" Ben questioned as the old man snickered at him.

"I'm Bang also known as Silverfang. Class-S, Rank 3. I didn't even sense your presence when you appeared onto the roof with us." He introduced then revealed as Ben had snuck up on them.

Ben chuckled, "Sorry, wanted to make a good hero entrance."

"So, your power is to shape-shift?" Bang questioned as Ben shrugged.

"It's a little bit more complicated than that." Ben chuckled.

"SIR! SIR!" Itsuki came running into the room filled with the Association's board members.

"What's wrong, Itsuki?" Yamato replied.

"It's about the meteor, that was supposed to destroy City Z!" Itsuki screamed catching everyone's attention.

"What about it?!" Yamato's voice darkened, "What happened?!"

"It's been...destroyed!" He paused then shouted which caught made everyone's eyes go wide.

"No way!"

"It's impossible!"

"I swear look we have video confirmation from Metal Knight!" Itsuki replied as he pulled out his tablet and hooked it up to the screen behind them. He soon opened the email sent from Metal Knight.

It showed Genos, Bang, and an unidentified man in a black hoodie with the hood over his face on top of the building with them. He stepped in front of the two hero's and in a emerald flash was replaced by a man who's body resembled the night sky and soon he launched upwards at impossible speeds, and destroyed the meteor with a single punch. Every single board member was silent as they watch the video.

"No way! A person transformed into a very powerful creature and destroyed the meteor in a single punch."

"That can't be possible!"

"It shouldn't be possible! Whoever this person is can be a very powerful ally to us. We need to find him!" Yamato stated, "Itsuki send this to every news station!"

"Yes sir!" Itsuki yelled.

"You sure that was a good idea?" Asuka asked as Yamato said nothing.

"Yamato knows what he's doing, maybe he'll be able to draw that being out." Ren replied.

It had been four days, since Ben had destroyed that meteor, he had a discussion with Bellicus and Serena, their relationship and partnership was going to be alot better than it originally was. Ben loves all his aliens, but Alien X was always the one that had the biggest weakness to him.

Ben sighed inwardly as the news came on, "I am Keiko Chiho, from channel six news. I am standing in the destruction of City Z. It should actually be wiped off the face of the Earth, but a mysterious figure destroyed it, saving the civilians from annihilation. We even have video footage of the mysterious hero. Roll the footage." She explained as Ben gazed at the TV playing. His eyes went wide as Genos, Bang, and himself we're standing on the rooftop and then him turning into Alien X and launching towards the meteor, and destroying it with a single punch.

"Great, so much for being a hero in the shadows." Ben groaned as the fragments were sent raining down into City Z. He grabbed his remote and rewinded it and quickly paused it. He didn't know if anyone could see it since his face since he had his hood on, but he knew it was him.

Genos sat next to Ben, "Master, it's not your fault. You saved the City from being annihilated. That's a win for us."

"Oh yeah, but why does it feel like I still lost?" Ben suggested as he slammed his head onto the table with a frustrated look.

"Maybe, because you wanted no one to get hurt and caused more destruction in the process." Genos suggested, "Master, I'm sure everyone is happy to be alive, because of you."

Ben didn't even look up from his statement.

'I'm sorry master, some of the civilians are making you out the be the bad guy for causing the partial destruction of City Z, despite saving it as a whole.' He thought gazing down at the young man, 'Yeah I definitely shouldn't mention it to him. He's already for alot on his plate.'

"Genos?" Ben snapped the Cyborg from his thoughts.

"Yes?"

"Because of what happened did you get moved up in the rankings?" Ben asked curiously since he did play a part in destroying the meteor.

"Yes, I moved up from seventeen to sixteen and Metal Knight went from seven to six." Genos explained.

"Nice, I feel like that Metal Knight guy is sketchy after what you told me." Ben replied, "Just wanting to test his stupid weapon, he should have worked with you instead."

"Yes, he's quite a dangerous man. We'll have to be careful of him in future situations." Genos suggested which made Ben nod in agreement.

"By the way, how the hell did they get that video?" Ben questioned as Genos started thinking. It was only him and Bang up there until another person came to mind.

"Master, I believe Metal Knight had something to do with this. He probably didn't leave after he launched those missiles instead he recorded me blasting my incineration cannon at full power then shifted the camera on you transforming and annihilating it with a single punch." Genos explained it would be next to impossible to catch a glimpse of Ben with his guard up.

"That explains why my face is a bit blurry, but what he failed to blur out was my Omnitrix badge!" He shouted as he pointed to Alien X's chest, "One more thing, I noticed they always report threat levels as Demon, Dragon, and Tiger? Does that really means anything?" He asked questioning the threat levels.

"It does. Tiger- A crisis threatening massive loss of life. Demon- A crisis threatening to halt the functioning of an entire city or it's destruction. Dragon- A crisis threatening the destruction of multiple cities. God- A crisis threatening human extinction." Genos explained each threat level from Tiger to God.

"Wow, I honestly didn't know that." Ben replied as he let all this information sink in, "So far I've only been dealing with Demon and Dragon threats. If we did mysteriously get a God threat what do you suppose would happen?"

"You'll be there to save everyone, Master." Genos replied which made Ben deadpan.

Ben sighed as he rubbed his head, "I'mma head out for a bit."

"Your leaving master? Wait let me join you." Genos asked wanting to go with him.

"No I think I need some time to myself." He grabbed his black hoodie the same one he used to destroy the meteor in and headed to the door, "Stay here." He slipped his shoes on and left the apartment.

Ben had his arms wrapped around his head as he walked around City Z. It was beyond completely destroyed. He noticed some civilians walking around, some he could hear talking as he walked by.

"Isn't that the same black hoodie we saw on the news?"

"Must be a coincidence?"

"You think he transformed into that night sky thing and annihilated that meteor, dude get real."

Ben looked around as he noticed his favorite supermarket was also hit by the fallen fragments, 'Should I just go Clockwork and repair the City? If I do that I'll drain everything I have. I mean it's worth a try.' Ben was about to turn into Clockwork when a man yelled at him gaining his attention.

"HEY!"

Ben stopped as he gazed up at the man standing on the rubble above him, "Do you need something?" Ben glared at him, he could tell he was a hero from the Association.

"My names Tank-top Tiger! I'm a C-Class Hero!" He revealed. He was tall, extremely buff, his hair and eyebrows resembled the tigers fur orange and black. He wore a dark yellow tank top with black stripes on it, blue jeans, and brown boots, "BROTHER!"

Ben sighed as he rubbed the back of his head when another guy came flying through the air landing right next to him, 'Great, who's this clown?'

"Brother!" Tank-top Tiger exclaimed.

"The hero known as Tank-top Black hole is here!" He shouted. He was also tall, and buff, but his hair was black with a widow's peak on his forehead. He wore a black Tank-top with dark blue jeans, and brown boots. He wore a scowl on his face, "I know you! Your him from the news aren't you?"

Ben's face darkened, "What do you want?"

"What? Don't you know we came here to punish you for destroying out great-" Tank-top Tiger replied, but was interrupted by Tank-top Blackhole.

"Hang on little bro. That plan's not gonna work especially if he can turn into that night sky guy again. We need a different plan. Let's make him really pay for this. By using the most brutal method there is." He replied as he soon took in a deep breath, "WAS IT YOU?! ARE YOU THE JERK-OFF RESPONSIBILE FOR DESTROYING THIS CITY?!"

Ben looked at him with an eyebrow raised, 'What is he doing?' Ben started looking around as his voice echoed out into the destroyed neighborhood.

'I get it! There are tons of people in this city who are totally pissed at him.' Tank-top Tiger thought with a sinister smile on his face.

"You're unbelievable! How can you even show your face around here?!" Tank-top Blackhole continued yelling at him.

'Smart play, brother.'

The civilians around them heard all the commotion and started making their way over to them.

"Do you feel nothing at the sight of this devastation?" Blackhole continued.

'He's gonna use their anger to completely break his spirit.'

Ben then saw the crowd forming around them and knew what this was, 'Their gonna use there anger against me for destroying there City so he's gonna reveal my identity by telling them I did it. These guys play dirty, but their not out of the woods yet. I'll let them say whatever they want. They can hate me, loathe me, disrespect me, do whatever they want, but never and I mean NEVER, I will stop defeading them.'

"Look at you gloating, thinking you've actually saved these people! Why else would you be walking around so shamelessly? Thanks to your screw-up, these citizens have nowhere to go!" Blackhole yelled at the teenager, "Their homes have been destroyed! If you were gonna fail this hard, why'd you even butt in?! You should have stayed out of the way and let the S-Class hero's handle it, they would have done a much better job! And yet you still wanna play hero, even after causing such a disaster! Look at this place, all this destruction is your doing, you jerk!"

"Yeah, that's right!"

Ben turned slightly around as the crowd started joining in on tearing down their so called 'hero'.

"You! This is all your fault!"

Blackhole smiled evily, 'They took the bait.', "Hey do you hear that heart wrenching cry of someone who lost his home! Look at them, victims of your thoughtless actions!"

"Yeah, that's right!"

"You tell him!"

"Haven't you even thought to take responsibility?" Blackhole continued.

"Yeah, creep!"

"You're inhumane!"

"You're no hero!" He revealed, "GIVE IT UP!"

Soon everyone was shouting 'Give it up!' Ben gazed around as everyone gave him a look of disgust.

"Sure I probably could have minimized the damage, and yes I was gonna fix it, but to tear me down in public while I was trying to do the right thing and you call me a hero? Where the fuck were you? Huh, ANSWER ME! WHERE WERE ANY OF YOU WHILE I WAS UP THEIR PUTTING MY LIFE ON THE LINE FOR ALL OF YOU!" Ben screamed causing everyone to gasp in fear. He looked up at the Tank-top brothers, "Where were you when that meteor was heading straight for this city?!" He then turned to look around at the civilians around him, "IF IT WEREN'T FOR ME, EVERY SINGLE ONE OF YOU PEOPLE WOULD BE DEAD!"

Ben lifted up his left arm and activated the Omnitrix in an emerald flash. He turned into robot-like alien with skin that is made of golden metal, with black stripes and a transparent piece of green glass on his chest, revealing the gears inside of him. Sporting the Omnitrix badge in the middle of his chest.

Not even saying his name he lifted up both his hands and green light appeared. Soon the entire city was engulfed in the light as it was reversed. All the buildings and streets were being rebuilt, before the fragments of the meteor destroyed them. The civilians eyes widened in shock as everything was returning to the way it was. With the whole city rebuilt like nothing happened, another emerald light erupted as Ben fell forward, but his body never hit the ground. He levitated upwards as Tatsumaki floated below revealing her presence.

"You did well my prince, rest you deserve it." She replied touching the boys face as he was rendered unconscious. Reversing the entire city, drained the hell out of him. She then gazed at the angry mob below her, "You all! You should be thanking this man! He not only saved your lives, he even came out here to fix everything. And you all tried to tear him down for it. I should wipe you all out for this." She shouted, but was interrupted as Genos made his presence known.

"That's enough, Tatsumaki!" He shouted, "Master knew what he was doing. Let's leave it at that and get him home."

Tatsumaki gritted her teeth as she nodded her head in agreement, "Ok." Tatsumaki and the unconscious Ben floated away with Genos behind them. The Tank-top brothers were sweating dropplets as the citizens glared at them.

"I think we should get outta here brother!" Tiger replied as he and Blackhole took off running.

Tatsumaki laid Ben in his bed and pulled the cover over him, "How long were you there for Genos?"

"I followed him since he left the apartment. How long were you there for?" He answered then questioned her.

"When Blackhole started yelling at him. Ben saved their lives and they turned on him within seconds." Tatsumaki replied with a solemn expression on her face.

"Master knew what he was doing. He always has a plan, I'm sure he allowed them to tear him down only for him to rise back up and rebuild the city. He's the definition of a true hero." Genos explained Ben plans for mostly everything sometimes he makes up a plan on the spot.

"Yeah, he is." Tatsumaki agreed as she smiled at the unconscious alien hero.

A/N: I'm gonna be honest this entire chapter was very difficult to write. First the Ben and Tatsumaki thing, the meteor, the debut of Alien X, Ben being torn down in public and having his identity revealed believe me it was very difficult. Alien X wasn't supposed to debut in this chapter, originally I wanted Atomix, but I kept thinking to myself. Is Atomix strong enough to destroy a meteor that size so I crossed him off the list. Next I had Way Big and Ultimate Way Big, but that seemed too easy. I wanted to give Ben a challenge and so I used Alien X that whole discussion with Bellicus and Serena happened after the meteor was destroyed. I had metal Knight film the entire thing so when Ben revealed himself and allowed the Tank-top brothers to tear him down it was so he can turn into Clockwork rebuild the town and not once but be seen as twice the hero they were so now his identity is revealed to the civilians of City Z maybe the association who knows find out next time.
