Shota Aizawa has agreed to aid in a quirk study with a newly hired faculty member. When he begins to get frustrated with the lack of progress in the quirk study, he starts making illogical decisions much to the surprise of fellow staff members. It's only rational for him to try and figure out why.

Principal Nezu decides to expand UA's operations and create a third Hero Class, and assigns Ectoplasm to be their teacher.
