answers to reviewers questions or statements:
Jestalnaker94000: Lol, you think Peter will have a choice in the matter?
Fox Boss: Perhaps, though I'm gonna have to re-watch that movie to get an idea of her character.
gontheone: Peter will learn a few other things outside of his Spider based abilities and those granted to him by the Phoenix Force but Saiyan powerups aren't among them, he's not a Saiyan.
Bobwhy: Honestly, I like the undertones of anger, lust and just general 'I'm the greatest thing since slice bread and you should be grateful I'm with you' vibes they clearly have. The whole point of Vegeta and Bulma's romance was that it started because Vegeta at the time was a shit person and honestly, Bulma was probably desperate and lonely enough to give the guy a try despite the obvious red flags he likely had. And he's gotten better since than, the Vegeta from the Cell Games wouldn't have thought of taking on Beerus the Destroyer for smacking his wife like the current Vegeta would, he'd likely still be paralyzed with fear from a simple look from the Deity. And the Bulma of that same time frame likely wouldn't have ever tried to come to her husband's defense when the after mentioned God was humiliating him and straight up bitch slapped him despite the fact he was one of if not arguably the most powerful native being of Universe Seven. The fact they don't fit the typical trope of most Anime romances doesn't make it weird, forced or out of nowhere, if anything it makes it more unique because no one could've begun to predict those two would end up married and having two kids on top of that which in the real world is how a number of romances begin. No expects two people who clearly have differing histories and personalities to end up together and yet, most of them do and stay that way.
StormWolf150: Oh I have something that'll top that possible match up several times over.
RayRayOtega: Hmm, seeing her quite a lot in the suggestions.
Guest 8991: I'm basing Frost's characterization off what we initially got from the Manga, a pretty decent guy. The whole him being a Diet Soda version of Frieza is strictly from the anime, which I never understood why they went that route.
Spider kriptonia: When was it ever said that Peter can't manipulate Ki? Did you not read what I put at the beginning of the story? I already said that Bulma, Chi-Chi and Android 18 were off the table.
PrudishSet: At the moment? Hard to say but if you wanna a rough estimation, Peter as he is now is close to what Gogeta was in Dragon Ball Super: Broly when he went Super Saiyan, not Blue, just Super Saiyan, which I'm inclined to believe is far more powerful than the Gogeta we got back in Fusion Reborn given how much more powerful Goku and Vegeta have become since that time, which was roughly around when Buu showed up if I recall correctly given Goku was still kinda dead I think.
Harbinger of Kaos: Yeah, forgot to add her but I also figured it'd be obvious she's gonna be with Gohan. I'm willing to add a Marvel woman or two.
code R.R: It's been a few centuries since Earth of Universe 6 was destroyed.
The Storm Master 567: Currently, Peter is in the upper echelons of powerful mortal warriors, roughly on par with Gogeta from Dragon Ball Super: Broly in his Super Saiyan form. So Toppo, Broly and Jiren are currently the only beings that can take him on at the moment in a all out fight. Though in terms of martial skill, Peter isn't as proficient as most of the Z Fighters. It's not lazy on his part, more of there's few that he knows of that can realistically challenge him in his own Universe outside of Beerus and thus sees no reason to push himself. Plus Peter has never been the kind of guy to go out and look for fights, at least not like Goku does.
mikpirat: Yes, he does. A few of those yes. Yes. Maybe.
Guest: And what makes you say that?
The True Master of Fanfiction: You do know that the Dragon Ball franchise has always valued fighting and power more than fan service right? So what if there isn't many women in it that fit the whole 'Typical Anime Girl Beauty' bill, there's plenty of shows and manga that make up for that.
superpierce: Nooo, Gods of Destruction can kill immortal beings. Beerus, Hakai, Zamasu who in turn is a Devine being and yet still got destroyed, ring any bells? Than there's the fact that Beerus has, even if it was only a filler, destroyed the spirits of deceased and was even going to destroy Frieza if he tried anything. It's even been alluded to by the Gods themselves that they can kill one another if given the chance, the only reason they don't is because of their angel Attendants stopping them before things escalate too far, like with Champa and Beerus and their fear of Zeno erasing them for their actions.
Aragorn II Elessar: You can make choices if you want, you might pick someone that hasn't been suggested already or I and others haven't considered yet.
dragongod0117: No, it has no relation to that story.
Disclaimer: I don't own any Marvel or Dragon Ball characters seen, mentioned or used.
"Is it me, or does it smell like someone is using a deep fryer in here?"
Peter's only ever been to Lord Champa's world twice in his life, which was two more times than just about every other being in the Universe aside from maybe the Supreme Kai. But every time Peter was brought to this place, dragged here against his will more like, he's always noticed that the place smelled like a fryer or some kind of cooker was on, which given Lord Champa's diet, it was very likely the case.
"I hope we can grab something to eat before we go, I'm starving" one of Peter's 'teammates' for this tournament said with a hopeful expression.
Peter glanced at the individual, a young Saiyan warrior that fought with Frost in the past if he recalled, by the name of Cabba. He... wasn't what Peter was expecting given the boy's exploits. Peter was expecting to see some six foot plus towering giant of hardened muscle covered in battle scars, not someone who looked like their still in high school and could be knocked over by a simple breeze.
Than again, when he first met Caulifla and Kale, he assumed that they weren't much of a danger to himself given their short and shapely figures.
'God I hope he can't do that weird transformation thing they did in the end' Peter thought with a mental shiver.
Caulifla was... manageable, when she became whatever the heck that golden haired thing was. But Kale was another matter entirely, it took Peter hitting her with the force of several nuclear bombs to finally stop her and even than it looked like she was ready to get back up and keep going until Caulifla talked her down. Though if Peter and the rest of this team were going to be fighting people from another Universe that caused Champa to seek Peter out, they might very well need that kind of power.
"He's stronger than he looks"
Peter blinked and turned to see that Frost was also looking at Cabba, his arms folded across his little chest and his tail curled around his feet, occasionally twitching.
"I don't doubt that" Peter said after a few seconds with a shrug "I've met a few of his kind in the past. It's just I would've figured that he'd be... bigger"
Frost rolled his eyes at this "size isn't everything you know. Look at me, I barely reach your chest in this form, and my final one and yet I can destroy a planet with one blast if I so wished"
"Why would you destroy a planet?" Peter asked with curiosity.
Frost was about to answer before the two suddenly found themselves in the shadow of something colossal and turned to see what it was that was blocking the sun that brought light to Champa's world.
"Ah, you must be Auta Magetta" Frost said with a simple nod of greetings towards the massive figure "A pleasure to make your acquaintance. I've heard the stories of your people's resilience and look forard to seeing it in person"
Auta Magetta was big, towering over everyone by a good several meters, and each step he took felt like a miniature earthquake. He was also giving off a lot of heat, Peter noticed, enough that he could see faint heat ripples in the air around the large mechanical body. If a heater were to ever gain sentience and start moving around, he was pretty sure they'd end up looking like Magetta, though probably not as cool looking.
Peter stared up at the large robotic being with wide lenses "Whoa... your big"
Magetta bent his body enough so that he was able to look down at Peter and Frost and made a series of whistling noises followed by electronic beeps and boops before a cloud of steam erupted from the steam pipe on his head. Peter chuckled at the response as he suddenly leaped on to the massive being's shoulders and took a comfortable seat on the warm metal surface.
"How are you able to sit so comfortably on that?" Frost asked with a raised brow, even from where he was standing he could feel the heat radiating off the Metalman like a furnace.
Than again, his people are known for producing saliva that's said to be like if not outright lava.
"Space bird" Peter answered, causing a tick mark to appear on Frost's head.
"What is that? That's the second time you've mentioned it. Is it related to what you can do?" the Imperial monarch asked.
"Yes and no" Peter snickered at the look on Frost's face.
Magetta made a series of whistling noises and turned his massive body so he and Peter could see Champa and Vados approaching them. Vados smiled at the sight of Peter sitting on Magetta's shoulder while Champa simply stared at him, well all of them, with an unreadable expression on his face before he took a deep breath and plastered a confident grin on his face.
"Stay sharp, today is the day we prove to my lazy good for nothing brother that my- I mean OUR Universe is the best!" Champa declared with a wide toothy grin as he placed his hands on his hips and poked his chest out with pride "Today we're gonna show that his Universe's warriors aren't anything compared to us! That we can-"
"Win pie eating contests like you can?" Peter added with a smirk, causing Champa to glower at him while Cabba and Frost both struggled to stifle their chuckles and Magetta made a series of whistling sounds and electronic beeps before blowing out a few puffs of steam.
Hit, the final member of their team, meanwhile kept standing there... all quiet and composed. And he had his eyes closed, Peter noticed, and his hands in his pockets all cool like.
"Wow, really?" Peter glanced down at the infamous assassin with a frown "Not even a twitch of the lips?!"
Hit opened his eyes to look up towards Peter with a blank expression "I am smiling, can't you tell?"
"No honestly" Peter responded with a huff "Wouldn't hurt you to offer some feedback you know!"
"No, but it'd hurt your feelings if I did" Hit responded, causing Peter to scowl.
"You know, you remind me of this guy I sued to know. Acted all cool and liked to dress in these weird looking leather jackets and acted all angsty and stuff" Peter pointed at the purple skinned alien being "You wouldn't happen to be a centuries old and have some kind of drinking problem, would ya?"
Hit's response was a silent look that caused Peter to gasp dramatically.
"OH MY GOD, YOU DO!"
Suddenly a small but powerful explosion of energy erupted over everyone's heads, causing them to flinch as Champa lowered his hand with a scowl etched on his face "Alright, stop screwing around, we got a Tournament to win!"
"What?" Peter said as he made a show of cleaning out his ears "All I can hear is this loud ringing sound. Is anyone else hearing a loud ringing sound?"
"I'm going to destroy you before this is all over. I'm going to destroy you, and use your ashes for bath salts" Champa growled at the man while Vados giggled and tapped her staff on the ground twice, enveloping all of them in a cube of energy before it shot off into the cosmos and towards the Nameless Planet that'll be hosting their matches.
"Oooh, what's this?" Peter said as he reached up towards the ceiling of the cube and ran a hand across it's surface.
It felt like glass to him, but something told him it was much more durable than that. He also saw that Vados was now standing on top of the cube and positioned herself so that Peter was looking directly up her dressto show she was wearing a scandalous looking pair of green panties. Wisps of red flames flared off Peter as he quickly adverted his gaze as the angelic Attendant looked down at Peter with a grin, it seems her position wasn't accidental or coincidental.
"It's called a Cube. It's what many Gods and Kais use to travel throughout their respective universes and even to others if they so wished" Vados revealed.
"If you have one of these, than why don't you use it to travel?" Frost asked with a frown "You and Lord Champa seem to prefer traveling under your own power"
"That way is quicker" Champa answered with a yawn "Plus if I traveled around all the time in this thing, Vados there would grow fat and lazy and look even more unfeminine in appearance than she already does"
Peter, Frost and Cabba all gaped at Champa's words while Hit very slowly moved away from the ground and proceed to lean against the wall, positioning his feet in such a way so that he wouldn't be flung around. Magetta simply beeped in confusion before the Cube suddenly came to a halt, sending himself, Peter, Cabba and Frost flying while Champa stumbled back a few feet before he caught himself against the wall behind him. A annoyed scowl appeared on the Destroyer's face and he looked up to yell at Vados and demand answers for this unexpected action before he suddenly found himself face to face with his attendant and martial arts teacher.
The Angelic woman was... expressionless, as she stared down at her Lord, though one look in her eyes spoke volumes to her inner emotions. Champa felt a chill crawl up his spine as he stared into the wrathful depths of Vados' eyes before she closed them and gave Champa a warm smile as her head tilted slightly to the side.
"You think... I'm unfeminine in appearance my lord? That not taking you from one end of the Cosmos to the other under my own power instead of using this vehicle, which was specifically designed for the Destroyers and Kais to use, will make me fat and lazy?" she asked in a tone so sweet that even Hit believed that he might've developed a cavity by proximity to that tone alone.
Champa felt beads of sweat pouring down his face as he stared at the angelic woman and tried to form a response "W-W-Well... I-I-I-I... y-yo-you see... ah, hehehehe, w-what I meant w-was... I-"
THOOOM!
The entire Cube shook as Vados' fist connected with the top of Champa's head, sending him face first into the floor with enough force to crack the mysterious material. With a huff, Vados rose back up to the roof of the Cube and had it resume it's trek through the cosmos to the Nameless Planet while the fighters of Universe Six slowly climbed back to their feet, minus Hit. Peter stared down at Champa as he laid moaning on the floor, a large throbbing bump growing on his head before he looked up to see Vados was still fuming, her face contorted into an annoyed scowl and her normally light blue complexion now slightly dark in anger.
"Hmm..." Peter said as he glanced back down at Champa "Guess Godly Wisdom is reserved for the Kais, no?"
"S-S-Screw... you..." Chamnpa groaned in pain as he slowly pushed himself back up "Ow..."
"Lord Chamoa, will you be okay?" Cabba asked with some worry.
While he couldn't say the God didn't have it coming, he didn't want the strange Deity to be permanently injured in any way.
"Of course I'll be fine!" Champa said as he suddenly shot back up and laughed despite the obvious swelling on his head "I'm a Destroyer God, it's going to take much more than that to bring me down! I was just doing it for Vados' sake, you know how women are with their prid-"
TWIP!
Champa's mouth was suddenly covered in Psi-webs, causing the purple cat being to glare at Peter.
"Trust me Lord Champa, best quit now while your still ahead" Peter teased the Destroyer.
Champa made a serious of grumbling noises as he reached up and ripped the webbing away and threw it aside with a flick of his wrist.
"Lord Champa, do you know what sort of opponents we'll be facing from your brother's universe?" Cabba asked, hoping to distract the Deity from possibly lashing out at Peter and to gain some insight on what sort of fighters he'll be facing.
Champa's details on what to expect were very... lacking, when he was approached about this Tournament and since they were only minutes away from it, he was hoping for some information, no matter how small.
"A couple of Saiyans at least, that's all I know" Champa said as he glanced down at his nails with a look of indifference "I'm sure you'll be more than capable of taking either of them on. Your a Saiyan too, right? Vados, he's a Saiyan too right? I specifically asked for a Saiyan for this!"
"He's a Saiyan Lord Champa" Vados said from her perch on the top of the Cube, her voice still carrying a frosty undertone of anger at her Lord's words.
"Alright, what about the other three than?" Peter asked.
"Eh, who cares, you'll beat them" Champa said with a scoff "Your from my Universe after all"
"While I'm pleased you have great faith in our martial prowess and strength, I confess that facing so many unknowns could prove to be... disastrous" Frost added.
Peter nodded "Yeah, what he said"
"Oh..." Champa said as he suddenly turned towards the group of fighters, the air within the Cube growing dark and tense "Are you saying that I may have made a mistake in picking you all?"
Cabba and Frost both paled at the tone the Deity spoke in while Peter very slowly stepped behind a shaking Magetta.
"You don't want us to win... you want us to completely decimate and humiliate your brother and his Universe's best fighters"
The tension in the Cube broke as Champa and the others all looked towards Hit, who was still leaning against the wall and staring out the opposite end with a blank expression on his face. His entire posture was oddly relaxed, as if he was unbothered by the high amount of energy that was being leaked from Champa only seconds ago. Sensing his teammates and Champa's eyes on him, the thousand year old assassin turned towards them with a cool expression on his face.
"Am I right?" he asked.
Champa squinted at Hit for a moment before smirking as he folded his arms across his chest "Heh, nothing really does get by you, does it? I'm starting to see why they call you Never-Miss Hit"
Hit made no reply as he went back to staring out the Cube and watched the cosmos race by.
"Oh my God Hit we get it, your the team's cool guy" Peter said with an eye roll.
Frost prepared for a response of his own before he noticed that Peter was still hiding behind Magetta's leg and scowled "why are you even still hiding back there? No, better yet why are you hiding in the first place!?"
"Cause I didn't want to get clawed by that oversized kitten like a carpet" Peter jabbed a thumb at the now fuming Champa.
"What's you call me? Screw clawing you like a carpet, I'll reduce you to atoms!" he demanded as he formed two orbs of Destructive Energy in his hands to throw at Peter before the Cube suddenly came to another stop, sending him flying into the wall.
"Lord Champa, we're here" Vados said as the Cube drifted through space towards a singular rocky looking planet.
"So that's where we'll be fighting" Cabba said as he went up to the Cube's wall and peered at the slowly approaching planet before he noticed something just floating at the edge of the world's curvature "Whoa, what are those?"
As the Cube neared the planet, six equally large orbs were floating beside it, each one orange in color and shined with a mysterious glow. At the center of each massive orb was a series of red stars that were easily the size of small continents, ranging from one to seven. Peter let out a low whistle at the sight, concluding that these were the Dragon Balls he kept hearing about.
"Those things... their... their massive" Cabba gaped while Magetta beeped in agreement.
"I heard the legends, but I never thought they'd be true" Frost said with a thoughtful look on his face as he cupped his chin "It makes you think, though, doesn't it?"
"What does?" Peter asked as he kept staring at the massive orbs of power.
"If their as powerful as Lord Champa claims, and they work in a similar way to the Namekian Wishing Orbs, which those were created from a sliver of these objects... what made THEM?"
"Good question" Peter said as he tapped his chin in thought before he snapped his fingers "Maybe a Super Namekian made them? Since that seems to be the common theme with these things"
"If a Namekian made these, than why would they make smaller, less powerful ones?" Frost asked with confusion, causing Peter to shrug in response.
"I don't know, why don't you ask one?" he responded.
Eventually the party from Universe Six arrived at the location of the Tournament, a massive crater along the Southern hemisphere of the rocky planet with a transparent dome made of some sort of glass or crystal with a arena within that was roughly fifty meters by fifty. Even from this height Peter could make out stone bleachers, concession stands and even bathrooms for the contestants along the arena's edges. On each side of the area was a massive portrait of the Gods of Destruction from the two Universes taking part in this event, Beerus and Champa. Beerus, in Peter's opinion, looked like a slimmer version of Champa and... well that's all he seemed to be in the man's eyes.
He supposed the guy was more imposing in person. Least he can claim to keep in better shape than Champa does, Universe Six's God looked to be one sandwich away from needing a scooter to get around.
"Guess we got here early" Cabba said as he looked around the arena for signs of the fighters from the other Universe "I don't see anyone else here yet"
"Beerus probably fell asleep and their stuck trying to wake him" Champa scoffed as the Cube came to a stop over the arena just as another Cube appeared and began to slowly make it's way towards them.
"Ah, it seems Fuwa and his Attendant are here as well, good, good..." Champa said as he exited the Cube and flew towards the other Cube to greet the Supreme Kai of Universe Six.
"So now what?" Peter asked as he looked up towards Vados.
"Now you go and prepare for the first stage of the Tournament" Vados said in a much happier tone than earlier.
She used her staff and pointed towards a hovering platform that sat a bit of ways over the main arena with a curved staircase made of some sort of white tone leading up to it. Seeing they had nothing else to do, Peter and the rest of the Universe Six's fighters all flew up towards the staircase and began to slowly make their way up it before something occurred to Cabba who stopped just a few steps from the top.
"Hold on a second!" he said.
"What is it?" Peter asked, standing at the top stair and just about to step foot on to the platform.
"Where's Magetta?" Cabba said as he looked behind him to see that the towering mechanical being wasn't with them.
Peter and Frost both blinked at the realization that their team's biggest member hadn't followed them to the platform.
"W-Where'd he go?!" Peter said as he looked towards the concession stands and bathrooms to see if perhaps the Metalman was feeling a little snack-ish before the Tournament or perhaps had to use the little robot's room.
"He's still on the Cube" Frost said as he looked up towards where they just came from to see Magetta hadn't followed them at all.
Peter and Cabba followed the Monarch's gaze and saw he was right. Magetta was standing on the edge of the Cube's platform, looking at them as he shook his massive arms erratically and steam billowed from the top of his head.
"The heck's with him?" Peter asked with confusion.
"Maybe he's afraid of heights?" Cabba suggested.
"He can't fly" Hit said in a dry tone as he walked past them all and up towards the platform.
"Can't fly/He can't what?" Peter and Cabba said at the same time while Frost sighed and held his head in his hands.
This Tournament was just starting off smoothly.
Several minutes later Peter and Cabba, mainly the former, were able to retrieve a panicking Magetta from Vados and Champa's Cube and carried him towards the platform where the first stage of the Tournament was to be held. Ten desks of varying sizes occupied the barren platform with one of them being large enough to hold Magetta's frame. Hit and Frost had already taken their seats and seemed to be waiting for the rest of their team and that of the other Universe to take theirs when they arrive.
"Thanks for the help" Peter said as he took a seat at the desk next to Frost.
"I was providing ranged emotional support in spirit" Frost said with a faint smirk "I had every bit of confidence in you being able to carry Magetta"
"You have any idea how hard it is to carry a struggling thousand ton robot that feels like he's a walking planetary core?" Peter asked with a deadpanned expression "It's hard, even when you have the strength to bench press a building"
"And yet you did a remarkable job helping our teammate make it to the first stage of the Tournament. I always knew you to be a team player at heart" Frost grinned.
"I hate you" Peter sighed before he suddenly sensed the arrival of multiple newcomers and looked up towards the sky to see another Cube heading their way, likely the one from Beerus's Universe "Looks like their here"
"Good" Frost sniffed as he interlaced his fingers and rested his chin on them.
"If you say so" Peter shrugged as he and the rest of his team waited for the other to arrive.
Thankfully they didn't have to wait long, only a few minutes passed, in which time the arena below underwent a few modifications in it's design, which Peter secretly thought looked nicer, when the other Universe's warriors finally stepped on to the platform. They were all humanoid in appearance, with at least two of them actually looking human while the other three were clearly Alien in nature. One was short and pink with pointy ears and dressed in some kind of unitard. The other was the largest of the five in terms of body mass and had a small antenna looking appendage on the top of his head while odd holes encircled the appendage on his head. The third alien was green and had two small antennas on his head, reminding Peter of some of the little green alien men he saw in a couple of old sci-fi movies.
Peter hummed at the thought before he returned his gaze to the two men and deduced that they were the Saiyans that Champa mentioned.
"So that's what a Saiyan from another universe looks like" Peter said after a moment of sizing them up.
Cabba was already up and out of his seat and making his way towards the newcomers, the Saiyans specifically. They were certainly bigger than Cabba, either one had at least a hundred or so pounds of sheer muscle on the guy, and they both struck the former Wall Crawler as people who've seen a hell'uva lot in their time. They also had some weird looking hair, especially the tall one dressed in a orange Gi, it was like it was making a point to defy gravity with how wild it was.
For a brief moment, Peter was reminded of a chain smoking Canadian that liked to stab people.
"They seem surprised to see me" Frost muttered as he noticed the one of the Saiyans looking at him, the shortest of the two, glaring at him with suspicion.
Peter didn't need to read the Saiyan's mind to know he probably wasn't a fan of Frost, though as to why was lost on him since as far as Peter knew, these Saiyans and Frost have never met before. Perhaps they met someone in their Universe that resembled Frost or maybe they had a Frost of their own they didn't get along with. If that was the case, Peter wondered if he had a doppelganger there as well.
"Be kinda neat, though a few years too late to take advantage of that" Peter said to himself as he rested his chin on his hand and yawned "Well, I hope this thing doesn't take forever, I got places to be and things to do"
"I'm sure" Frost said dryly.
"I do!" Peter said with a pointed look aimed at Frost "There's a Science Expo on the planet of Hala that's held only every two hundred years and I'm not missing it!"
"Ugh, Hala?" Frost said with a look of displeasure "Why would you want to be around the Kree? There a detestable race, what with their war mongering and ridged caste system. I've seen slaves under my brother have more opportunities for advancement than them"
"They have some good stuff, leave me alone!" Peter grumbled with a huff "Sides, if I recall correctly, your people aren't all that much better when it comes to moral high grounds"
Frost's eyes widened at this before they narrowed in anger as he shot up from his seat and took a threatening step towards the human "Why you little-"
"Gentlemen, if your done" Vados said from her place at the front of the impromptu classroom.
The fighters from Universe Seven were already making their way to what seats were still open, once they took them, Vados waved her staff through the air and sheets of paper appeared on everyone's desk along with two pencils and a eraser. Peter glanced down at the sheet and saw it was a test consisting of ten questions, four of them composed of basic mathematical questions, two basic reading comprehension, one for history and the final was a science question asking for one to break down the theory of Quantum Tunneling and how it can be applied in today's society.
'Who in the heck came up with these questions? Also when the hell is a test required for a tournament? I thought these things were all about fighting and stuff!' Peter thought with confusion as Vados began to go over the rules for the test.
They couldn't cheat, obviously, had to score at least a fifty percent or get five questions right and complete it within half an hour. Personally, Peter wasn't bothered, he'll have this thing done in less than three, though that may not be the case for everyone else. Hit might be fine, he struck Peter as a smart guy, and Frost too, Magetta and Cabba on the other hand might need a little... help, in answering the questions.
'It's not cheating if I happen to be thinking of the answers to the questions and I just happen to project the thought outwards and Cabba and Magetta just happen to catch it' Peter thought with a smirk under his mask.
"Now than... you may start the test" Vados said with a coy smirk as she sat on the edge of her desk and stared at the ten participants of this tournament, or rather she stared at Peter who happened to be in a position amongst the others that allowed the Angelic woman to observe them as well.
"Ummm, before we start, can I use the bathroom?" Peter asked with a sheepish laugh "I forgot to go before we left and after we got here"
"Only if your willing to be... observed. Can't have you using this opportunity to somehow cheat, like say... sending telepathic answers to your teammates, hmm?" Vados said with wiggling eyebrows, causing Peter to pale and quickly look down at his test with a pencil held in his hand so tight it was a literal wonder why it didn't snap clean in two.
"On second thought, I can hold it!" Peter said as he ceased any channeling of his psionic based powers to the minds of his teammates.
Vados smirked at this, having sensed Peter cut his connection to Magetta and Cabba specifically "Good, and remember everyone, no cheating. Or else you'll find yourself disqualified and... punished"
Somehow, Peter knew his punishment would be waaaay different than anyone else's.
...
And done.
Next chapter, The Tournament begins...
