Blood hunters were merely tales, even amongst the elves. For the rest of Middle Earth, they were legends, yet all were gripped by fear at the mention of them. When Thorin and his friends arrive in Rivendell they find its lord remarried and their story is even more bizarre than meets the eye. [Elrond x OC]

Renee just wanted to go shopping with her friend, but after getting knocked into the lake, she awoke to a cranky Dwarf yelling at her then passes out to awake again at night to an elf whisper yelling at her in elvish. Much has happened in the North during the Ring War. Most of all he is heartsick awaiting a reunion with his youngest son. Chapter 6, 11 and contain a small amount of battle violence.

Dark creatures still lurk in the shadows of the trees and attacks on the barrier continue - draining the prince's strength. When a patrol is found slain by Noldorin arrows and Legolas collapses, Kélion is forced to decide between loyalty to his King or the survival of his brother...

When Max Sol went to bed the last thing she expected was waking up in Middle Earth in the body of a Hobbit . . . at least so it appears, tell she starts developing abilities no Hobbit is meant to have, and told she was destined to save the world from Sauron and his other children. No pressure of anything.

There was a third hobbit on Mt. Doom that day. But no one likes to talk about that, now do they, precious? (AU. Gollum made a different choice at Cirith Ungol. And, awkwardly enough, he's not dead, somehow, so, uh, now what? Book canon. Not very compatible with the movies.)

What if a lone Uruk-hai fought in the ranks of the free people of Middle-Earth? What if Éomer entrusted him not only with his own life, but his daughter too? As an Elleth trying to help save Middle Earth, I was far too busy to be looking for romance. Despite this, I ended up finding it with someone I would never have expected. A tale of a Ranger and an Elleth finding love despite all the challenges they will face. (Candaith/OC), Elrohir, Elladan. Crosses over with the game "Lord of the Rings Online", but stands well on its own.

In the Home of Elrond of Rivendell, there is a warrior known for her skill and grace in combat and by the rare color of her eyes. Mantheniel, who had also been called "flame of the dragon" had spent her life training to become a warrior to protect the people she loved.
