/==/ Chapter Five /==/

Teams RWBY, CFVY and the remains of JNPR all stood with Professor Goodwitch in training room three. With the door confirmed to be locked, Professor Goodwitch took her place just off to the side of the collected students. Her bright green eyes focused on the door to the women's changing room. She was silently pleading to whatever god was listening that Jaune hadn't just wasted a huge sum of money on something useless and frivolous. Her head and shoulders dropped in defeat as Jaune walked out of the changing room.

"I'm not WORTHY!" Yang cried out as she dropped to her knees.

"Really? I mean really?" Blake commented.

"So cool." Ruby added.

"Yes, shake it Fearless Leader!" Nora yelled out.

"Work it, sweetheart!" cheered Coco.

"Coco!" Velvet admonished.

Everyone else just stood there in silence as they watched Jaune strut forward, totally wrapped in a shallow v-necked short sleeved black body suit, with gold trimmed seams. Her waterfall of blonde hair done up in a pony tail. Around both of her thighs sat a set of straps holding extra magazines. On her waist a double crossed over belt, that held a set of holsters against the small of her back and a small pouch over her left hip. Running from her hands to just about mid bicep she had on white gloves. The pink painted guns on her hips were one thing, but the set of pink guns attached to her black six inch flared heel sandals; were something else.

Stopping in the centre of the sparing ring, Jaune waved, winked and blew everyone a flirty kiss, before suddenly moving. Glynda instantly knew what she was doing, she was dancing, swinging her body around, high kicking, jumping, hands-free cartwheeling. Dropping into splits and then twisting about in fluid motions to spin her legs about her before rolling to her feet. All through the movements she was effortlessly bringing both the pistols that she had drawn from her back, and the ones on her heels into a semblance of a solid firing positions.

"SO not worthy!" Yang cried out in utter anguish.

Glynda pushed aside her worries about the price tag, and started to study Jaune's movements. Her dancing was spot on, nearly perfect, and if she could tap into that as a base for a combat style there was a chance. She still felt, that Jaune would be well served to also incorporate Crocea Mors into her armoury, but for now. Things looked promising, and a little too racy.

"Good enough. Jaune come here." Glynda barked.

Holstering her handguns, Jaune swayed her hips as she approached, getting a couple whistles from Coco and Yang, who in turn got swats to the backs of their heads courtesy of Blake and Velvet. Stopping in front of her teacher and Aunt, Jaune crossed her arms behind her back and bit her lip.

"Your father is going to have a fit, about how much you spent. You'll be lucky he doesn't cancel that card." Jaune let her head tip downward, "But I will defend your purchases. I know the shop and it is world renown for its quality."

"Really?"

"Yes, because I can also see the foundation of a fighting style that may work with your natural talents. However that does mean you will have even more work to do. You will need to not only learn to harness your movements, but also marksmanship and some form of unarmed combat." Glynda gave Jaune a small smile, before dropping it and turning her gaze over the rest of the assembled students. "I assume that there WILL be volunteers to assist Ms. Arc with her studies."

"Me! Me! Me!" Ruby called out in a squeaky voice, as she bounced on the balls of her feet.

"Ms. Rose. Ms. Adel. Thank you for volunteering."

"I didn't..." Coco dropped her contradiction at the narrowing of Glynda's eyes.

"I assume you will help Ms. Arc with her marksmanship, gun maintenance, and all other aspects to be a responsible firearms owner?"

"Yes Professor." Ruby and Coco replied in unison.

"I can help with some hand to hand." Yang offered, never taking her eyes off of Jaune, as she rose from her kneeling position."If you'll have me?"

"Thank you Yang!" Jaune rushed forward and pulled Yang into a hug, that instantly caused Yang's face to heat up. Coco slid her sunglasses down her nose and openly glared at Yang.

"Bad Coco!" Velvet swatted her team leader on the back of her head. "Jaune can hug whomever she wants."

"But I saw her f..."

"No you didn't." Blake whispered into Coco's ear, cutting her off.

Coco pouted, crossing her arms over her chest, as Velvet lightly rubbed her back. As Blake gently patted her shoulder, while grinning widely. Yang and Jaune separated, only to be further pushed apart as Ruby appeared between the two of them and started to fire off a rapid series of questions in regards to her guns. Glynda surveyed the assembled youth, and let a slim smile cross her stern features. Maybe, just maybe this will all work out.

"I will take my leave, now. I will remind you all that curfew is coming up shortly." Glynda let her smile slide away, and fixed everyone with her customary stern glare. "Jaune you and I will be having a discussion tonight when you return to your room. Ms. Adel, come with me for a moment."

Coco followed Professor Goodwitch into the hall, and stopped in her tracks as Glynda whirled around, leaned forward and pushed a finger in front of Coco's face.

"Pro... Pro... Professor Goodwitch?" Coco stuttered.

"Jaune is extremely emotionally vulnerable right now, but she is finding comfort with your friendship, even as short as it has been. Do not push her. Let it develop, if you force it, you will be dealing with me, but not as Professor Goodwitch; but as Aunt Glynda." Glynda then straightened up and withdrew her finger, "I also wish to thank you for instilling a spark in Jaune. She has been rather listless, and it is good to see more of her old self coming out."

"You're welcome?" Coco stammered.

"I expect you to educate her properly in all respects to ownership of firearms." Glynda turned and started to walk away, before stopping and looking over her shoulder, "Have Jaune back to her room by eleven, and good luck; I am pulling for you."

Coco just stood there stunned as the authoritarian of Beacon started to walk away, her heels clicking on the floor tiles, and her hips swaying in a suggestive manner.

/=/

"You have something to report Lionheart?" asked a rather enchanting female figure in black robes with a flowing white hair done up in a complicated bun. Her skin was pure white, marked with red veins. Her black and red eyes bore into Lionheart through the jellyfish like grimm floating before him.

"Ozpin has the remains of the Fall Maiden at Beacon."

"We figured as much. This is a very poor repayment for the mercies I have extended to Mistral." the woman's image grew sharper and larger. "Maybe it is time to renegotiate the terms of the agreement."

"Please, there is more."

"Out with it then."

"They are going to use that cursed Aura transfer device to move the remnants of Amber's soul into a new vessel. They have already chosen the candidate. Pyrrha Nikos."

"So Ozma is sacrificing one to empower another of his choosing. One who would be under his tutelage and control. How so very much like him."

"There is more, my queen."

"More? What could be more useful that knowing what you have been providing us We know the direction Ozma is taking."

"Beacon has the Summer Maiden, as well."

"Not possible. He would never be so reckless as to have two maiden's so near one another."

"It maybe reckless, but having two maidens under his control makes moving directly against Beacon very dangerous."

"Are you confident that this information is correct?"

"I am. Nikos has been selected, and there is no doubt he will attempt the transfer soon. He has expressed that regardless of the outcome he will notify the Circle."

"And the Summer Maiden?"

"I have no doubt he has her under his control. He would not have spoken of it to the Circle if that was not the case."

"Ozma has a habit of using half truths. Again are you confident in this information?"

"He would not have told the entire Circle if it wasn't true."

" I will trust your judgment in this situation. Make sure my agent in Vale is apprised of everything. A name of this additional maiden would be a asset."

"He was hesitant to full identify the individual."

"Find out, and then inform my agent."

"I will do my best, your majesty."

"No you will do better than your best. You WILL gather this information. By any means necessary. Understood?"

"Yes, your majesty."

"Do not fail me."

The image faded from the clear top of the strange grimm, and as if was being directed from afar, the creature floated away, vanishing into the hidden alcove, behind his bookcases. Lionheart, fell into his chair, and sighed defeated. He had made a pact with the devil, and now he was expected to do even more than he originally thought. It was one thing to send experienced huntsmen and huntresses into possibly unwinnable situations, it was another to target students. But then again as long as Mistral and Haven were spared, he would do whatever was required.

/=/

They had all separated after spending more than a few minuted asking questions and just generally chitchatting. This left Coco to escort Jaune with all of her new combat gear stuffed into a black gym bag, to the main locker room. They walked in silence, the only sound the click of Jaune's heels upon the tiled floor. Coco found herself sneaking multiple side glances as they made their way through the corridors of Beacon. She drank in the curves of the young woman beside her. The rise and fall of her breasts as she moved, the motion of her hips as she took step after step.

Jaune had before the trip to the training room, had returned to her room at Glynda's and changed into a Beacon uniform. She was currently wearing that now, and Coco suppressed the urge to lick her lips. The notably upfront young woman, was hesitating. She liked what she saw, but she also loved how Jaune was. The kindness, she showed everyone she was close to. The willingness to help, those around her; even as she suffered through her own personal hell. Coco knew what she was feeling was more than just physical attraction, and to be honest it was daunting.

Gylnda's parting words to her, rolled about in her thoughts. Coco knew Jaune was not in a good place emotionally. Not with all she was going through, and everything that had happened recently. Her thoughts rolled around to Nikos, and she grit her teeth. She so wanted to put the Invincible Girl in her place. To push her face into the mud, to embarrass, and humiliate her like she had Jaune. She however tried to hold back on the actions those feelings were prompting her to take. Deep inside she knew Jaune regardless of what had happened between her and Nikos, would not appreciate such actions taken on her behalf.

"Something on your mind, Coco?"

"It's nothing."

"Don't even try. I know what that means." Jaune stopped in the middle of the hall, and faced Coco, bag hanging from one hand, the other braced on her hip. "I have seven sisters, and I've used that trick on more than one occasion myself. So out with it."

"I..."

"Coco, you've been there for me so many times this last month and a half. You can open up to me."

"I like you, I mean I know when I first met you it was mostly physical, but I know about you from BunBun. Plus spending time with you... I know it's more than just you know..."

"I feel there's but in there."

"There is. With everything you've been going through, I'm hesitant to make a move. Plus there..."

"Aunt Glynda gave you the 'Talk' didn't she?" Jaune giggled.

"How?"

"She's done it before, and in fact she's done it right in front of my face." Coco slid her sunglasses down and gazed at Jaune. "I had a girlfriend when I was fourteen. We got into an argument when Glynda was visiting. She went momma bear on her, before even my mom could react."

"That must have been a sight." Coco didn't even attempt to suppress her smile, at her mental picture of what happened.

"It was... eye opening." Jaune giggled again, "I know she meant well, but I think I like you as well."

"Think? Cause to be honest, Jaune my feelings towards you are more than think."

"I know that wasn't the right word to use, and I do want to see if we could be something more, but..."

"Nikos. What she did, what she said..."

"It upsets you, and it upsets me. Yet I still..."

"Have feeling towards her."

"I do. I shouldn't, but you know..."

"You can't just forget them."

"Yeah."

"So where does that leave us? I know I'm really attracted to you, and I DO want to be more than just friends."

"Give me some time, please? Let me sort some stuff out."

"Okay, I guess I could do that." Coco replied sounding slightly as if she had just been shot down after her confession.

"Coco," Jaune smiled as she dropped her bag to the floor, and moved closer. So close in fact that she was able to drape her arms over the shorter girl's shoulders. "This isn't a rejection. I'm being honest with you; because you deserve it. I do like you, and I want it to be more than just friendship between us."

"Jaune?"

"I want to see if we can be even more, but I want to be able to give you and a relationship with you, my full attention. You deserve at least that." Jaune leaned forward and gave her a light peck on her lips. "So bear with me please? Just a little time."

"I can do that." Coco replied, getting over her surprise at the forwardness of the tall blond before her. Coco brought her arms up and let them snake around Jaune's waist.

"Just a little time. I promise. Just a little time." Jaune leaned forward and gave Coco a slightly longer kiss upon her lips. It wasn't a deep, and longing. It wasn't filled with desire, it was an embrace showing Coco that Jaune shared her affection, and if she could work things out, she wanted to be more.

"Yeah, I can definitely do that." Coco replied with a smile, before leaning in and give Jaune her own chaste kiss.

Jaune's scroll beeping caused the pair to separate, soft warm smiled decorating both of their features. Reaching into her pocket Jaune pulled out her scroll as it beeped again. Opening it up, her thumb hovered over the accept icon.

"Jaune?" Coco asked.

"It's Pyrrha."

Coco said nothing, as she ripped Jaune's scroll from her hands and hit the accept icon.

"Coco!"

/=/

"What the fuck do you want, Nikos!"

"Jaune?"

"What do you fucking want?"

"Whoever this is, I just want to, No I need to talk with Jaune."

"I think you did enough talking in the Headmaster office.

"Please, this is important. I NEED to speak with Jaune. I'm sorry about what happened, but this isn't about that."

"Sorry, Pyr."

"Jaune?"

"Yes."

"Who was that?"

"Coco. She's not very happy right now. So you said you want to talk?"

"Yes, please."

"In person, or through this chat?"

"I would like to do it in person, but I'll understand if you don't want to; considering..."

"You're still my partner Pyr."

"But..."

"Tell me what this about. Then we'll decide how to deal with it."

"It's partially about what I said and did earlier; but also about something the Headmasters talked to me about after everyone else left."

"Headmasters?"

"Yes. I had to sit through a conference call with every Academy's Headmaster. I need some advice, and you're the only person I think that can give it to me."

"I think we should probably do this in person. Are you okay with that?"

"I think so."

"Coco is having a moment. BRB"

"Jaune, I want to say I'm sorry for what happened. I know it doesn't change anything, but still I went too far."

"Back. We'll talk about everything tomorrow."

"Where do you want to meet?"

"I have a room in Glynda's apartment. It'll give us some privacy."

"Okay, what time?"

"Whenever you feel comfortable dropping by."

"Okay. I'll message you before I arrive."

"Okay. BRB."

"Jaune?"

"Back. Coco wants to be there."

"She's still upset about what happened, isn't she? Doesn't trust me, right?"

"Sorry."

"It's okay, I guess I can see where she's coming from."

"Are you okay with that, or do you want me to make sure we're alone?"

"Will you be able to keep her from being there?"

"Ah, probably not."

"Then it's fine. I'll make do, and handle it."

"Are you sure?"

"I'll be okay. It's for the best, maybe she can help."

"Are you okay? I mean seriously, are you okay? Nora and Ren said you've not been back to the dorm since the meeting."

"I'm doing okay, sort of. I need space to try and work out some stuff. I'll see them tomorrow, after we talk."

"My scroll will be on all night. If you want to talk more just send a message."

"Why, Jaune?"

"Why, what?"

"Why are you being so accommodating, considering..."

"You're still my partner, and I hope still my friend. What was said was said, but that doesn't change everything. You need help, and I will always make time to help my friends and teammates. Always."

"Thank you, Jaune; and for what is worth. I'm sorry."

/=/

"Jaune, I'm not upset at you, but..."

"You think it's a mistake to be talking with Pyr?" Jaune asked as she once again draped her arms over Coco's shoulders. "Maybe it will be; but she's still my partner and teammate, and that means regardless I will help out if I can."

"Still... those things she said." Coco sighed as she let her hands once again slip around Jaune's shapely waist. "I know they upset you, and to be honest they bother me."

"It's okay. I'm a big girl."

"Not sure about the big part; but definitely tall." Coco gave Jaune a smirk.

"Gods that looks so hot." came a voice neither wanted to hear. They turned their heads and gave the owner a openly hostile glare. "Oh, shit."

Cardin raised his hands in a placating gesture, as he started to back away. Both Jaune and Coco separated from one another, and turned fully towards Cardin. Jaune with her arms crossed over her stomach, Coco with hers crossed over her chest.

"I'm sorry?" Cardin whined, as he continued to back away.

"So what do you think, Angel?" Coco asked, making sure she didn't out Jaune by using her real name. "DO we NEED to teach him a lesson about respect?"

"I think, maybe; just MAYBE we should give him a chance... maybe a head start, before we commence with the lesson."

"I'm okay, with that." Coco reached up and pushed her sunglasses back in place, "So how's ten seconds sound Cardin?"

"Um... not really fair?" he swallowed nervously. "Maybe, I could just go? How about that? Please?"

"I don't know. Angel?"

"Maybe this one time, we'll let it slide." Jaune gave Cardin a wicked grin.

"I'm so sorry!" Cardin whimpered, before turning on his heels and running off.

"Sometimes, just a little bit I feel bad for him; but then I remember what he did to BunBun; and it goes poof." Coco chuckled. "So we should get your stuff stored, and back to Glynda's room; before she..."

"Goes Aunt Glynda on you?" Jaune giggled.

"Yeah, that." Coco shivered.

/=/

Glynda was sitting on her couch in her night clothes. She fixed Coco with a glare as she stepped through the door with Jaune in tow. Without a word, Glynda held up her tablet and activated the onscreen clock. It read five after eleven. Without an ounce of shame, Coco grabbed Jaune by her wrist and pulled her in front of herself. Quickly hiding behind the taller girl; effectively using her as a meat shield.

"Sorry?" Coco squeaked.

"It's after curfew, Ms. Adel." Glynda's voice remained stern, even though Jaune could easily see the mirth touch his Aunt's eyes. "I hope you have a good excuse as to why you are late returning with my niece. Do you?"

"Um... we were talking and then... please don't hurt me!" Coco mewled, while making sure Jaune's body was perfectly between her and Professor Goodwitch. "I'm sorry, I wont happen again."

"It better not." Glynda replied, barely hiding her smirk, causing Jaune to struggle not to start laughing. "You can head back to your room now. Thank you for escorting Jaune here."

"Um... I was..."

"You were what, Ms. Adel?"

"Hoping to stay for the night?"

"Now why would I allow such a thing? Are you attempting to make a move on my poor innocent, impressionable and virginal niece? Are attempting to corrupt her, twisting her into some creature lusting for twisted pleasure?"

Jaune couldn't hold it in any further, and choked as she tried to suppress her laughter, but failed completely. Glynda also started to chuckle, as Coco stood there for a minute, looking like a deer caught in headlights.

"What?"

"Ms. Adel yes you can stay here tonight. Though you WILL be sleeping on the couch. Understood?"

"Yes?" Coco looked at Jaune who was just barely reigning in her laughter. "Jaune?"

"I'm so sorry, it's just too much!" Jaune wheezed.

"I will get you a blanket and some pillows, Ms. Adel. Jaune should have some spare night clothes that you could wear." Glynda rose from the couch and made her into her room.

"Come on Coco, let's get you situated. Aunt Glynda wanted to talk to me when I got back." Jaune grabbed Coco's hand and dragged her into Jaune's bedroom. Let go, Jaune went to her closet and started to go through her slowly growing wardrobe.

"Are you going to tell her about this meeting you've got planned with Nikos?"

"I don't know." Jaune turned and handed Coco some clothes. "Try these."

"Pink? I don't do pink."

"It'll be cute, try it."

"You shouldn't be even considering helping, Nikos. I wouldn't after she did what she did." Coco dropped the clothes Jaune had handed her on the bed. "I so want to grind my foot on her face."

"Coco, I'll be honest. I'm not happy with what happened, or how she acted. It hurts."

"Then why? Let her stew, and deal with her own shit."

"I still care for her. She is my partner, she was there for me when I needed her." Jaune slid off her pumps, and then started to undress, "Did you know she saved my life during initiation?"

"What happened?"

"Deathstalker. She took a hit for me," Jaune had stripped down to her panties, and started pulling on her red heart covered black night pants, "I had been thrown into a tree. I wasn't capable of doing anything, and she just appeared. If she hadn't been at my side I would have been skewered."

"Okay, so you owe her." Coco started her own process of stripping down, "Why do I get pink with bunnies, and you get black with hearts?"

"Because I'm the girl of your dreams." Jaune looked over her shoulder and stuck her tongue out at Coco before proceeding to pull her hair up through the t-shirt that matched her night pants, "and you'll look so adorable and girly."

"You are SO lucky I have a thing for you." Coco scoffed, before finishing her strip down and sliding into the pink pyjamas Jaune had handed her. "I still don't trust Nikos, and you shouldn't be so ready to forgive her. She fucked up Jaune, she really stepped over the line."

"She didn't know, and I'm not forgiving her; at least not yet."

"Then why bother?"

"It's like you said I owe her, and like I said. She's my partner, she's part of my team. That gets her the opportunity to talk face to face. Besides it's my decision, and I decided." Jaune finished playing with her hair, and after tying it into a pony tail, she turned around, and giggled. "So CUTE!"

/=/

A pic showed up on the chat feed, of what was an obviously shouting Coco, in a frilly pink set of bunny print pyjamas, without her trademark beret and sunglasses.

"OMG! SO CUTE! Quick everyone save that pic!" Velvet posted. (five heart emoticons)

"LOL! Velvet make that our chat background." Yang added. (laughing emoticon)

"Delete that this instant Arc!"

"NOT a chance!"

"Is THAT Coco?" asked Blake.

"It looks like her." commented Ruby. (confused emoticon)

"You are so getting trounced for this Arc!"

"You love the attention, and we all know it! LOL." responded Jaune.

"With all the stuff you bought today, you didn't have something more elegant to wear?" asked Weiss.

"OMG, LOVE IT! Send another!" commented Nora

"I agree with Nora, send more!" Yang chimed in.

"Locking yourself in the bathroom WILL not save you Arc! I know you're reading this, and I know you can hear me! Get out here and face your punishment!"

"I'll give you a kiss, if you let me take a better one." Jaune posted.

"Did Jaune just?" asked Yang.

"Well it is right there in the chat log, so obviously she did Yang." replied Weiss.

"Don't type stuff like that in chat! OMG!"

"If it gets us more photos... I say go for it! Coco kiss Jaune!" commented Yang.

"Selfie of the kiss! We know you wanna!" added Nora (devil emoticon)

"Don't encourage this type of behaviour Nora!"

"Lighten up Weiss-cream. It's all in good fun." Yang responded.

"So what do you say Coco? Is the price right for another pic?"

"You know your Aunt is right here beside me. She's not impressed." Coco informed the group.

"Jaune has family here? Who?" asked Ruby.

"It think she's referring to Goodwitch." answered Blake.

"So Jaune is related to the Professor?" asked Ruby.

"Now I'm scared." commented Yang.

"Jaune, unlock the door and get out here!"

"Something you can remember me by, if I don't make it out of here." Jaune posted.

A pic suddenly appeared, it showed Jaune in a black t-shirt with a red heart print, holding up a peace sign with her left hand. It was obviously taken using a mirror, as the scroll was visible.

(5 heart emoticons)

"Do not start spamming chat Yang!" Weiss posted.

"Jaune get out of there!"

A second pic appeared, this one again being taken using a mirror, but this one showed Jaune lifting her shirt, just high enough to expose her flat stomach, and hinting that she would go higher, by the sticking out of her tongue.

"That one is for Yang. Sweet dreams." (winking emoticon)

(20 heart emoticons)

"Don't encourage her! Stop spamming hearts Yang!"

"Come on Weiss-cream. Show Jaune some love."

"Please don't say we're going to start posting pics of us in our nightwear." Blake commented.

"Well, Jaune did start it." Velvet offered.

"They're getting i..."

"Jaune?" Ruby asked.

"All of you BETTER delete that pic from your scrolls... or else!" threatened Coco.

"Ah, what happened to Jaune?" Ruby asked again.

"Did they get into the bathroom?" Yang asked.

A pic pops up, showing Jaune and Coco sitting side by side on a couch. They are both looking at the floor, with their hands clasped between their knees. Coco still in the pink bunny print pyjamas, and Jaune in a black t-shirt and night pants covered with red hearts.

"If they are both there, who took the pic?"

"I did, so you can remember them as they were, before they are disciplined. -GG" Jaune's tag posted.

"Now I am scared."

"Your not the only one Yang." Weiss added.

"Coco?" Jaune whispered as she gently shook the fashionista's shoulder. She smiled when she noticed in the slivers of light being cast by the bathroom, as a set of dark brown eyes blinked open.

"Jaune?" Coco pushed up with her arms, to a partially seated position. "What time is it? What are you doing?"

"It's after one in the morning, and I couldn't sleep."

"That stuff with Nikos?"

"Can I?"

Coco didn't say anything and only twisted so she was laying on her side, while also lifting the blanket allowing Jaune to climb underneath. The pair shifted around for a few minutes until they both settled. Coco wrapped her arms about Jaune, and she in return crossed her arms over Coco's arms, clasping at her hands.

"Better?"

"I've only have a few days left." Jaune whispered.

"Until?"

"Yeah."

"It'll be okay."

"I'm so tired, of being a freak."

"You're not a freak. You're unique."

"Pyr was right, I'm a..."

"No she wasn't, and you are not." Coco squeezed her arms around Jaune, trying to add to the feeling of security. "What she said was wrong, and I'll admit she was upset, angry and I would even say embarrassed about the whole situation. But still what she said was not true."

"But it's how I feel."

"I told you, and I'll keep telling you. We will find a way out of this body changing bullshit they forced on you." Coco nuzzled her way into Jaune's neck. "I promise. I'm not going to let you suffer like this anymore."

"You know my dad always said, an Arc never goes back on their word."

"Well I'm not an Arc... but I swear Jaune; I'll get you through this. I promise."

"I could get used to this." Jaune sighed as she adjusted herself a little bit, melding herself into Coco's warm body.

"So could I sweat heart. So could I." Coco whispered into Jaune's ear.

"Coco?"

"What's up?"

"Thank you, for everything."

"Anytime."

Coco kept her arms around Jaune, and she kept her hands clasped upon Coco's. They smiled, at the feeling of warmth and comfort that welled with them. Slowly sleep swept over them, and they drifted off, Jaune and Coco both lost in the feelings of protection and acceptance.

/=/

Pyrrha had been trying to get hold of Jaune for an hour now through the chat program. She was starting to worry, thinking that maybe Jaune had changed his... her mind about talking to her. Part of her felt hurt at that thought, but another part told her it was what she deserved. Using the Beacon map app, Pyrrha made her way through the halls towards the teacher and staff dorms. Jaune had given her directions before they finished chatting the other day, so she was able to reach her destination with little difficulty.

"Ms. Nikos."

"Pro...Professor Goodwitch."

"May I ask why you are at the door of my private quarters?" the authoritarian woman asked as she stood in her doorway regarding the young woman who had been in the process of knocking on her door.

"I... I..."

"Ms. Nikos. Please calm down." Glynda stepped out into the hallway before her student, and allowed the door to close behind her. "You are here to see Jaune, aren't you?"

"I talked with him last night. He... I mean she said it was okay." Pyrrha looked at the floor as she fidgeted with her hands. "I wanted to talk with... her about you know, things."

"What things in particular, Ms. Nikos. Are we talking your behaviour from the other day, or about the offer that was made to you?"

"Both."

"I see. May I ask why, Jaune?"

"I was wrong, what I did, what I said was... a mistake. I should have just kept..."

"No you shouldn't have kept it to yourself. That would have just made things worse than they have already become." Glynda regarded her student, reading her pained features. "Was how you acted, and what you said, disrespectful and insensitive. Yes it was. However considering what you were thrown into, and you feelings for Jaune it is understandable; with in reason."

"Feelings... I..."

"Pyrrha, please don't. It was and still is obvious that you have an attachment to Jaune, the only problem is the version of Jaune you have those feelings for."

"That obvious?"

"Yes it was, and I can tell you Jaune knew it as well."

"Then why?"

"Jaune has always been an open and loving person, but with all this stuff she has been thrust into, she has become insecure in who she really is. She wants acceptance, and now can you tell me truthfully that you can accept Jaune's feelings as she is right now."

"I don't think I can. I mean..."

"You don't have to explain yourself Pyrrha. You were acting very shallow that day, because you were hurt, I would even say embarrassed. The person you held affections for wasn't who you thought they were. That would set anyone off." Glynda gently placed her hand on Pyrrha's shoulder and guided her away from the door, "Let's walk for a bit. It'll help you get your thoughts in order for when you do speak with Jaune."

"Yes Professor."

"No, right now for this chat, I'm just Glynda. Okay?"

"Okay."

"Hey sweet thing." Coco whispered as she and Jaune both started to rouse themselves from slumber.

"I really like this." Jaune mumbled, as she tried squishing herself further into Coco's warm form. "So warm, don't want to get up."

"Well I do. Sorry Jaune, but I have classes." Coco tried to untangle her arms, only to have Jaune tighten her grip upon them. "Jaune I have..."

"Just stay, please."

"Jaune?"

"I'm not going to be me for much longer. I want... I want..."

"Jaune?"

"I want to feel like this as long as I can, before... I become him again." Jaune turned her head and gazed into Coco's dark brown eyes with her own dark blues, hints of wetness rimming them. "Please?"

"You know we can still do this when you are him. There is nothing..."

"It's not the same. He's not me. This is me, and this is what I want right now."

"And that is?"

"To be safe, and accepted. To not be a freak."

"You're not a freak Jaune. You're a warm, loving and carefree young woman."

"Please, just stay with me like this, for a little bit longer."

"For you, okay." Coco replied as she shifted her own body around and settled into the couch. Pressing her body against Jaune's, hugging her gently.

"Thank you, Coco."

"Anytime, Jaune. Anytime."

So this is the second of two new chapters for a story I had first posted in "Possibilities". I'm not going to rehash my Author Notes here. If interested, feel free to check out the original postings in "Possibilities".

Anyway, I hope everyone finds this worth the effort. It is a fun story, that I hope I'm doing justice, between drama, characters and straight up just plain silliness.

As always, comments, suggestions, and critiques are always welcome.
