Decades after the Return of the King, Sam is an old hobbit living a quiet life and feeling the call of the West. He goes on a walk and meets the oldest elf on Middle Earth, the last remaining of the First Generation, now bound for the Grey Havens.

I love redemption stories, Tolkien made a world full of great heroes, and he indicated a battle at the end of days. This is just a take on it that cheers me up in dark time. Enjoy :)

As an Elleth trying to help save Middle Earth, I was far too busy to be looking for romance. Despite this, I ended up finding it with someone I would never have expected. Still grieving his losses after the Redhorn, Elrohir accompanies Elladan to Lórien for a respite, but when a ghostly harbinger warns of peril to the Golden Wood, Elrohir and a band of bold companions must uncover secrets long-buried beneath the mountain before an ancient evil unleashes destruction on the Elves' last defenses.

Blood hunters were merely tales, even amongst the elves. For the rest of Middle Earth, they were legends, yet all were gripped by fear at the mention of them. When Thorin and his friends arrive in Rivendell they find its lord remarried and their story is even more bizarre than meets the eye. [Elrond x OC]

Renee just wanted to go shopping with her friend, but after getting knocked into the lake, she awoke to a cranky Dwarf yelling at her then passes out to awake again at night to an elf whisper yelling at her in elvish. Sooner or later things'll make sense. Spin-off/crossover fic with "The Forgotten". The Fellowship also appears in this on and off, but they aren't quite the focus.
