Chapter 2

Author's note: Welcome to chapter 2 of this fanfic. First of all, the comments made in this fic, I will answer each, so if you commented, go to your inbox as they will probably be there!

My chapters won't be too big at first, but that could change.

Besides, I don't like Sakura, even though she's improved, I hate her with a passion you have no idea. I'm not going to attack you directly, but here's the warning.

Narumi can't help but moan when she felt clarity in her eyes, hearing another groan on her side. Narumi opened her eyes, seeing that she was in an all-white space and next to her was Hinata, her best friend and sister in everything but blood.

"Where were we?" asked Narumi, looking round

"I don't know, Naru-chan." Hinata replied, worried, "Are we dead?"

Narumi didn't have time to answer, as he heard a laugh and both turned to the source in a combat position, but neither of them can believe his eyes. In front of them were two women, one with long red hair and blue eyes and the other with short bluish hair and light violet eyes... Both women appeared to be a copy of Hinata and Narumi.

"Harumi-chan I said our girls were going to be best friends, dattebane! " said the redhead, giving a huge smile

"Hai, hai Ku-chan." Said hinata's copy

They were both in shock, the ones in front of them...

"KĀCHAN!?" cried Narumi in shock

"KĀSAN!?" cried Hinata at the same time

The two women couldn't smile at their daughters, it didn't seem to see them grow up in person, but they were both so proud of them and everything they did.

"Naru-chan, come give your mother a hug!" asked Kushina to reach out

Narumi wasted no time in running towards his mother and sent them both to the ground. Narumi was crying shamelessly as someone saw her and Kushina and Harumi couldn't help but smile sadly.

"Hina-chan, you growing so well." Said Harumi smiling at Hinata

Hinata swallowed dry, looked at her mother and just as Narumi ran towards her mother and hugged her, crying.

A few minutes passed with the two younger women crying in the arms of their mothers, however, Narumi walked away and asked the questions that had been on her mind since she woke up.

"Did the justu go wrong? Kura-chan didn't have enough charka? So me and Hina-chan are dead?"

"None of that, young man, " replied an old voice

Narumi and Hinata turned around, seeing a woman in a cream knee-high dress, colorful eyes and white hair cascading down to her ankles. They could both see that the woman was powerful and that time they raised their guard.

"Who are you?" asked Hinata

"I am Kami." Answered the woman " Kurama's jutsu worked, however, I decided to give you a gift" explained Kami to see the two looking at her

"What gift?" asked Narumi looking suspiciously

"I don't blame you for being suspicious of me, Narumi-san" Kami replied by laughing sad "The present is to return the memories of your soul mates, so you don't have to go through everything alone" explained to see Narumi's face

"Who are our soul mates?" asked Hinata

"Sorry, we deities treat our lovers, companions as soul mates..." answered Kami

"What you're saying is that our bride and groom will remember everything we've been through?" interrupted Narumi

I said, "Yes." Kami replied "Unfortunately, there is a consequence in making their souls return to the past and they remember the future"

"What is the consequence?" asked Hinata, distressed

"Their memories will appear well after you return, " replied Kami, looking at the two

"I mean, maybe when we were eight, is it possible that they only remember when we're 12?" asked Narumi after pondering

"Unfortunately, as they are dead is a slower process than yours" replied Kami

Hinata and Narumi waved pensively, of course, it could take time for their lovers to remember and they would no doubt suffer, Hinata because her lover was an idiot and assumed that she was in love with Narumi in her male form meanwhile, Narumi knew that her fiancé only realized that he was in love with her when she returned from the journey with Jiraya...

"While it's going to be hard, there's nothing we can do except wait." Said Narumi, defeated

"You can always win him over while he can't remember, dattebane!" said Kushina trying to cheer up the sunlight

"You can and should show who you really are." Pointed Harumi "Naru-chan, if you tell Sandaime-sama that you know who your parents are, it's possible that he'll give you your inheritance and decide to distribute some Anbus until you finish the academy, meanwhile, Hina-chan can and you must defeat Hanabi, show mercy can endanger Hanabi's life when she is genin ." He explained when he saw the looks of the two

Narumi and Hinata widened their eyes, never thinking about it. Narumi had known who her parents were since she was 6 years old, when a Kakashi like Anbu told her while she was asleep, but in fact she was awake. Hinata had never thought that by making her little sister more confident in her abilities, she could put Hanabi's life at risk.

"I... I think we should tell Jiji the truth..." commented Narumi softly

"Do you think that's a good idea?" asked Hinata

The other women, Kami, Kushina and Harumi could only observe as Narumi looked at Hinata and waved a firm nod.

"We'd better let him deal with Danzo and the rest of the civil council... We wait two weeks after telling him the truth and if he does nothing, Baa-chan will be back early." Narumi explained his reasoning

"Speaking of which." Kami pointed out"As you have a contract with the frogs and the slugs, it is possible that Jiraya and Tsunade will remember, since the convocation has no time-space." Explained Kami

Narumi and Hinata nodded, it was a pleasant surprise when Tsunade showed interest in coaching Narumi and Hinata, although they both knew they were not her first choice...

Much to Narumi's frustration, who had asked Tsunade to train Sakura because Narumi thought she would be interested and Sakura accepted, but after Sakura trained for two months and seeing no evolution, Tsunade discovered that Sakura was not taking training seriously and dieting... Honestly, Sakura was a disappointment for both Narumi and Tsunade...

"Good luck, Narumi Uzumaki-Namikaze and Hinata Hyuga" wished Kami, watching them disappear

Kushina and Harumi looked at Kami, seeing her with a soft smile.

"Don't worry, your daughters are strong, " commented Kami

"Besides, they're going to have us by their side, " remarked a soft male voice

"Narumi is still so beautiful as I remember." Said another male voice with a soft voice

Kushina and Harumi looked at the voices seeing their sons-in-law and could not smile.

"I never thanked you for what you did for Naru-chan." Said Kushina looking for his future son-in-law

"..." Kushina's son-in-law muttered something "There's no reason to thank me, I should have done more"

"The same for you..." said Harumi turning to his son-in-law "Thank you for taking care of my girl."

"Harumi-sama is no problem." Said Harumi's son-in-law

"Well, are you ready?" asked Kami to the men, watching them wave

Kami smiled, nodded and with a nod, the men disappeared. The women smiled and left, and Kami wished her luck to the four who had so much on their shoulders.

Final author's note: I had something different for this chapter, however I decided to change a few things...

Hinata and Narumi's fiancés appeared in this chapter, but their identities will only be revealed in the next! Who do you think you are?
