Nekea and Jonas find themselves in what appears to be an ideal and safe place for Bajorans and Cardassians to co-habitat outside of Cardassian or Bajoran space. They make friends and adapt to a sort of pioneer life until children start disappearing under mysterious circumstances.

Dukat likes to think of himself as the ultimate specimen of what a Cardassian man should be. He knows deep down that this isn't true.
