Having had a moment to catch his breath and stretch, Sora decided to look around for any significant landmarks. Anything to help pinpoint where he was exactly. After looking around for a moment he decided to just start walking away from the ocean and see if anything would appear to help him.

Within a couple of minutes, Sora's eyes widened as he had forgotten something so simple. "The Gummiphone!" Cried Sora silently cursing himself for forgetting something important. Reaching into his pocket, he managed to pull his phone out which appeared to be intact with no damage surprising him as he had been in quite the dilemma and had more than once landed rather harshly on top of the phone.

He furiously tapped at the screen finding the call button Donald had chastised him to remember since it would be important for staying in touch with the others. Having found the button, he tried dialing Riku but to no avail, the call was not connected. Immediately after he tried Ienzo's number which was kindly noted and added as a contact thanks to Goofy's input. Unfortunately, his call had not connected either leaving Sora staring at the blackened screen which reflected his downtrodden appearance.

Taking a good look at himself, Sora decided to lightly slap his face on both sides and take a deep breath recollecting himself. Understanding his primary goal of finding a landmark of sorts, he decided to keep walking forward while putting the gummiphone away.

Continuing his journey, Sora seemed to walk for a while admiring the beauty that this new world had to offer. Out of the corner of his eye, he had noticed some movement and perked up wanting to find out what it was that he just saw. Taking off into a sprint he then started making out the object that appeared in the corner of his eye.

To his surprise, the object he saw turned out to be a creature with bandages on its arms, ears poking out of what appeared to be hair, and a mask that was covering its face. Immediately stopping in his tracks, Sora decided to call out to the mysterious creature hoping to get some information out of it. "Hey! Hello, can you hear me? I'm kind of lost and don't know where I'm going. Do you think you could help me?" replied Sora all at once hoping he had not asked too many questions all at once.

However, to Sora's amazement, the creature started bouncing side to side and speaking a weird language that Sora had never heard before. He did however manage to catch part of what the creature said, and it sounded like "Ika ya Ika yaya Yaya ika" in a rapid and loud tone of voice. Immediately right after the creature had stopped speaking Sora felt something was wrong. Causing him to begrudgingly remark "I've got a bad feeling about this" while also taking a defensive pose ready to summon his keyblade at a moment's notice.

Not even a few seconds later more creatures started running around Sora all speaking in a sort of chant. Making sure to watch his back, Sora then summoned the kingdom key and prepared to lock onto the first creature he encountered with his flow-motion to take it out. Hoping that he would disorient the remaining creatures by taking out the group leader.

However, just before anything drastic could occur a green-covered tip arrow landed right at Sora's feet startling him and putting him on high alert. Strangely the creatures all started to act as if something was wrong and slowly but surely ran away leaving Sora dumbfounded about what just happened.

Wanting to find out what scared the creatures, Sora decided to pick up the green-tipped arrow examining it and noticing a pungent smell originating near the top of the arrowhead.

Without a moment's notice, Sora then heard a small, yet regal voice clears its' throat behind him. When Sora turned around, he found himself staring at what appeared to be a small girl wearing a pink jacket with pink hair and what appeared to be cat ears and a tail. Not the strangest thing Sora had seen in all his travels.

The pink-haired cat girl then began to speak, "That there is a repellent infused arrowhead. It's perfect for scaring off a small group of hilichurl

since it's a smell they don't like very much. Courtesy of yours truly thanks to a bit of mix and match with my ingredients" with a hint of sassy personality behind her voice. Sora gave a small smile having finally found someone in this new world who also appeared to be knowledgeable and could help him gain some information.

Sora in a sheepish way replied, "Really? Those err... what were they called again? Hilly churls? They don't like the smell from the arrow. It smelled a little fruity but with a hint of spoiled fish added to it". Not wanting to forsake and offend his savior, Sora quickly added " Ah! Sorry I didn't mean to insult your experiment or want to criticize your work. If it wasn't for your arrow, I would've had to fight my way out. So, thank you for helping me out of that pickle".

Having had to take a second to process what the boy had just said. The pink eared girl then began to laugh, "Hehe it's quite alright. I didn't detect any ill intent in your words. It's quite alright. However, what about you?" Surprised, Sora couldn't help but scratch his cheek, "What do you mean?". Sighing out of annoyance, the girl stated, "I mean that you are not from here. And that you came from the blue light that crashed into the ocean".

Confused, Sora took a moment to process all the girl had said trying to connect the dots on what had happened to himself before he awoke on the beach. "Wait...that would mean that meeting Yozora really was not in the real world and that the last place I was actually at was back at Destiny Islands. But... no that doesn't make sense, what about that city I was lying in the middle of the street...", murmured Sora confused about everything going on.

As for the pink-haired girl, she was beginning to become more annoyed with the boy seeing that he had no clue as to what was going on. "Well then, it appears that you don't know about the blue light either. Perhaps you didn't come from the sky, or maybe you did. Oh well." replied the girl clearly not satisfied from Sora's response. Meanwhile, Sora was starting to piece together some parts of his journey and in the process decided it best to bite his tongue and not mention anything about being from another world as it would upset the World Order. Or even worse it would upset Donald.

"Oh! Where are my manners, I had not even asked your name sir?" said the pink-haired girl clearly wanting to put a name to a face. Sora, wanting to know the same for the girl replied, "Right! My name is Sora, and I don't know how I got here. I just remember waking up on the beach". The girl wide-eyed took a moment to process everything Sora had said. Considering that Sora did not look to be the dangerous type, the girl responded in kind, "I see your predicament is a cruel one Sora, however, you will be pleased to know that I will support you in any way I can for my name is Diona".

Having a name to address the girl, Sora smiled brightly, "Diona. I will remember it. Now can you tell me where I am". "You are in Teyvat and we are currently near Starfell Valley which is close to the City of Mondstadt". Taking a moment to process the information Diona had explained to Sora, he decided it best to find a source of information without attracting attention. "Mondstadt...do you think you could take me there or at the very least point me in the right direction," asked Sora hoping Diona would help him. Nodding her head, Diona confidently answered, "Why of course I'd be glad to take you to Mondstadt. I am also heading back that way since I was already out collecting ingredients for a new concoction that'll make a dent in the wine industry" gloated Diona while agreeing to bring Sora along.

Sora taking Diona's word decided this would be his first step to find more about this mysterious world.
