And in the east of the Misty Mountains, Thranduil returns to his father and learns the meaning of joy again, unaware that Sauron never forgets nor does he forgive.

A few hundred years into the Third Age, Lord Cirdan of the Grey Havens sends an elleth named Elluin and her family to Greenwood the Great to make their home under King Thranduil. They bear a prophecy that hints at fruition when Elluin, now a servant in the palace, finds herself falling in love with the troubled Elvenking.

Still grieving his losses after the Redhorn, Elrohir accompanies Elladan to Lórien for a respite, but when a ghostly harbinger warns of peril to the Golden Wood, Elrohir and a band of bold companions must uncover secrets long-buried beneath the mountain before an ancient evil unleashes destruction on the Elves' last defenses.

Blood hunters were merely tales, even amongst the elves. For the rest of Middle Earth, they were legends, yet all were gripped by fear at the mention of them. When Thorin and his friends arrive in Rivendell they find its lord remarried and their story is even more bizarre than meets the eye. [Elrond x OC]

Renee just wanted to go shopping with her friend, but after getting knocked into the lake, she awoke to a cranky Dwarf yelling at her then passes out to awake again at night to an elf whisper yelling at her in elvish. Sooner or later things'll make sense. Spin-off/crossover fic with "The Forgotten". The Fellowship also appears in this on and off, but they aren't quite the focus.

Galadriel's illegitimate daughter must embrace her gift to succeed in a quest to protect a hobbit and what he carries in his pocket. But with no life skills, she must first learn to protect herself before she can help anyone else.
