Hiccup was abandoned and joins Drago in attempt to build an empire by his rules.

With a bit of dragon fire and some careful spells, old Berk is under attack by a threat from the future. Desperate for help, Stoic the Vast reaches out to the only ones with enough experience to conquer this new foe: the Dragon Riders.

Remorseful over shrugging Hiccup off and threatening him in his fight with the Whispering Death, Toothless expresses guilt over his clouded judgement and not listening to his friend. Hiccup though, reminds him their friendship is intact and no grudge could ever put a wedge between them.

Berk is an island of tradition, a dragon is bound to your soul, and when you come of age the dragon is found to become part of your body. Berk is known as the island of hybrids. Hiccups is 15 and smaller than most on the island. Gobber is the only he trusts, a father he needs on his darkest time. He can't ever find his soul bond dragon until Gobber pushes him to trap a dragon.

Modern AU. Just a warm, cosy evening between Hiccup and his brother Haden. That's it. I don't have a wittier or more interesting summary. Hiccup/Haden warning for incest/twincest.
