As a fan of Carver Edlund's Supernatural series, Amy is disappointed that the author ended the book series with Dean in hell. The Doctor, feeling guilty over Rory's death/disappearance from existance, takes Amy to meet the author. Nothing is ever simple with the Doctor, as he and Amy find themselves immersed in Zachriah's plan to force Dean to say yes to Michael.

Sam seriously wants to remember what happened during that year without a soul and plays a game of guessing in the dark. The Doctor just wants to help as the Doctor always does. An abundance of strangeness and quirky incidences ensue

For Sam and Dean Winchester, this was supposed to be a normal case. Then they saw the police box in the basement.

Every night before he goes to sleep, Dean makes sure Sammy is breathing. Then he closes his eyes and begs the angels Mommy said were watching: please bring my mommy back. By the time he's six, he no longer believes that there are angels are watching.
