Alternate universe where a nuclear winter takes over some time after Max leaves Arcadia Bay, the fiction starts some time before the events of the first game. This is kinda a small idea I got from a YouTube video, I'm gonna write this on how I see it playing out. Rated M for violence and language.

Max was perfectly content enjoying a night of bad movies and hot coco while snuggling on the couch under a blanket with her girlfriends. Well, that is, until Rachel's hand started moving under the blanket towards Chloe's crotch, and suddenly Max knew the night was going to end differently than she expected. Amberpricefield.
