Astrid Hofferson's life was changed forever the day she was engaged to Hiccup, the village screw-up. Taking her mother's advice, she decides to give friendship a shot. There's no way she'd fall for him, clearly. But as she gets to know Hiccup Haddock, the lines she's drawn start to blur, and when he starts keeping treasonous secrets, Astrid is bound to get caught in the middle...

Hiccup wasn't much liked by the village, many of them, including Hiccup thought that Snotlout would eventually become heir. But even so, all his life, Hiccup was still the official heir and as such he was still a target.

This is a little Christmas message from me to you.

That was the end of the conversation, but Astrid knew her apology hadn't been accepted. It had been acknowledged, yes. But not accepted. And she was glad about it. or, Astrid works to earn Hiccup's forgiveness.

With the aid of Toothless and Stormfly, Hiccup and Astrid are changed into Hybrids, where they find out just what it feels like to be in the middle ground between the two warring species. There will be humans, dragons and gods, as they make their way towards the Red Death. Updates are very slow and I'd appreciate any support, whether it's constructive criticism or motivation.

Set during RttE. The Riders decided that one of the best things about having Dragon's Edge was the excuse to celebrate everything twice. A birthday? They would have a party on both Berk and the Edge. A holiday? A celebration on Berk and the Edge. Snoggletog? That absolutely needed to be celebrated twice! And this year, they have something particularly special in mind for Hiccup.
