4th story in the Gabriel's Recovery series. Lucifer starts crying. Gabriel doesn't understand why. He tells Sam when he goes to check on the archangels on guard duty. This was supposed to make Gabriel feel better, not confuse him further than he already was.

Sam saw in Dean's eyes the unforgiving truth: his brother wasn't going to be able to hold on much longer. "I won't let anything— We're blood, Dean. So you just—" Sam stopped short. Brain fuzzy with tension and panic and pain, he thought back to what he had just said. "God, I'm so stupid." / Who needs a real plot when you can just hurt the Winchesters, am I right?

Before his death at Lucifer's hands, there were two beings in the world that Gabriel tried to save, but as far as he was concerned, it was always too little too late. But the spark that he left behind was enough to recognize and perhaps they could save each other in the process

Theres not many humans who can say they have captured the devils heart, and there are even fewer who can say they are the mother of his children, but this human, this one can. And Lucifer wants to make it official. Will Kelly Kline, how do the humans say it?, marry him?

There is little in this world that Lucifer cares for, and when one leaves out his son and his brothers, that list gets even smaller. So when Jack makes a decision that costs them all, leaving them and others injured, he knows he cant take that lightly. His foot comes down.

Sam makes a desperate decision when Dean dies for the 35th time in a row. Seeing no other way out of this time loop he calls on the one person he hopes would be upset enough that someone is messing with his vessel to help them out. He calls on Michael.

They were opposites, calm and chaos, order and wild, the sky and sea. They were nothing alike. But they always came back to one another. They were the Healer and the Messenger and they belonged to no one but each other.

They need to get Jack and Mary back, make sure evil Michael can't gather enough power to cross into their world, and find a way to make everything right as rain again. Gabriel has a solution to their issue, though its one that no one else may like, they really don't have many choices here. Two archangels, and only one has enough grace, will he help them though, is the question.

There is one who knows how to return the angels wings, to give them the power they once had, to make them whole. There is only one who was ever created to Run Heaven, and only he would know how to return the angels wings, the only problem, he's locked in a cage.

They have done the unthinkable, broken out of the unescapeable, two of Heavens prisoners seek shelter in a surprising place after a daring escape. Will they get away or are they on the verge of being caught?

Instead of Gabriel dying at the hands of alternate Michael, he gets shoved to the side, despite his apparent rescue there is still the sound of metal sliding into flesh and the gasp of surprise from the living pin cushion. He turns to see a smile, a sad tired smile, and "Only I get to kill you." Regret comes at the worst moments, too little, too late.

Gabriel and Sam lay witness to a very private moment between two beings whom they had assured themselves had never met, but seeing them now, like this, they questioned that assurance. This was not the sort of moment that someone had when just meeting for the first time. Jack is homesick, and had a hard day, thankfully he has his father there to make it better

Sequel to "Breathe". I wish the SPN team would explore the topic of recovery from male rape, so I'm doing it myself. Dean!Whump and hurt!Dean; angst, comfort, family drama, some hunts...there's a little of everything in here. Triggers, too. M for violence/adult situations/sex (consensual and flashbacks to nonconsensual).

Deans hunt continued. Will Dean save his brother in the last minute?
