All throughout Tsuki's life, he moved unhindered, all throughout his past life, he traversed through the seas of difficulties and achieved something many can only look up to and aspire to reach.
Even in his new life, many devils and supernatural beings can only sigh in envy and gaze at the man with determination in their eyes; he was the mountain peak that many wanted to climb and surpass.
Yet at this moment, restrained and imprisoned, Tsuki's cold expressionless face gazed deep into the violet eyes that stared straight into his own abyssal ones; at this moment, Tsuki had finally been captured.
Despite this, he showed no changes in expression as he ignored Azazel's sarcastic comment. In fact, Tsuki's expression was one of calmness as he closed his eyes in a relaxed manner, almost as if he wasn't the one restrained by the formation below him.
"So you arrived before me intentionally? To deceive me?" Tsuki smoothly spoke as Nero grunted coldly in reply but still replied and answered Tsuki, he was even happy to do so.
"Indeed, when you arrived, everything before you was merely to deceive you, and it worked perfectly. Be it the Fallen Angels arguing with us, Armaros lowering your guard, or Azazel's sneak attack, they were all planned to perfection."
At Neru's reveal, Tsuki gave a plain nod. He has long since deduced the reason why Azazel himself made an appearance, it wasn't anything shocking or world shaking, it was rather simple in fact.
If you wanted the job done, it was better to do it yourself.
Azazel had never underestimated Tsuki, his growth and strength were far too shocking for him to do so. Even if he sent Armaros, he didn't have much confidence in him being able to detain the heir, who knows what sort of methods and trump cards Tsuki would possess to counter Anti-Magic; Azazel's knowledge regarding Dream Magic wasn't high after all.
As such, after long periods of consideration and using many of his resources to place arrangements, Azazel discreetly left Grigori and had hidden himself deeply within Cocytus to wait for Tsuki's arrival.
When the main character of their whole plan had entered the vicinity of Cocytus, he transmitted a message to the Fallen Angels, and this message was very simple: Argue with the Devils for as long as possible.
If he revealed his cooperation with Neru to Tsuki, then it would be extremely perilous, Tsuki would be able to retreat using his full strength and come back with someone of the Satan Class level.
At that moment, Azazel's situation would turn chaotic, be it in Cocytus or back at Grigori, he might even be replaced as Governor. To ensure that the precious information wasn't leaked, Neru had never informed his teammates regarding his allegiance with the Fallen Angels, even if he did it would be met with huge resistance and reluctance. How could a Devil ever work together with a Fallen Angel to harm another Devil?
Such a thing had never happened before, even during the Great War. But at this moment, to deal with The Underworld's Greatest Talent, they cooperated and reached an agreement. For their plan, the reveal of Anti-Magic and Neru's teammates were necessary sacrifices they used to lower Tsuki's guard to the maximum.
Previously, Azazel allowed himself to be a Fallen Angel punching bag for this very reason, even if they weren't shown, he still had light bruises on his head because of Tsuki. Unfortunately, Tsuki was too cautious and immediately left which forced the tactician to use their second plan.
When Neru heard this, he only gave an emotional sigh as he watched his own teammates be slaughtered ruthlessly by the Fallen Angels; furthermore, he allowed them to carefully pierce his own body with their Light Spears, it was necessary to manipulate Tsuki.
Just for the sliver of hope to capture Tsuki, Neru actually allowed the people he considered a family to be killed.
As Tsuki grasped onto the truth of Azazel's scheme, he allowed a loud laugh to exude from his lips, it was as if he found the whole situation hilarious. If he wasn't chained and restrained, he might've even applauded.
"What a wonderful plan, to have actually cooperated with Neru early on, such boldness. I'm in awe of your methods Azazel, you truly deserve the title The Tactician of Grigori. If I wasn't cautious, your previous scheme might've truly worked."
Tsuki didn't stint on his praise, despite such words from Tsuki, Azazel's expression couldn't help but darken. Why was he so calm and relaxed? Was this a mere facade, a strong front? Or did he truly have a way of escaping?
Unease began to form in Azazel's heart. Chuckling, Azazel gave his trademark cocky grin, folding his arms as he spoke casually.
"There is no use escaping, so I hope you don't make it too hard on little old me. I also wouldn't particularly recommend on trying to do so, this formation isn't something even you can easily decipher, especially since you're imprisoned in the formation"
At Azazel's not so discreet threat, Tsuki nodded as if he didn't notice it.
"Of course, this formation was developed in the Great War and was known as the 'Blood Devil Suppression Formation' . It was extremely renowned but banned after the war as a sign of peace between the races. By using the cores and blood of the devils to draw a formation, one can secretly set up a formation without one using the typical circular body methods; it was partially the reason why Blood Magic was so heavily used."
Tsuki immediately replied, his eyes flashing as he comprehended the truth of the formation that restricted him. At his answer, Azazel nodded without any surprise, even a mildly knowledgeable Devil would be able to give him an answer regarding the formation; it was simply too famous.
Yet, there was a difference between the one used in the Great War and the one used now. In just a few seconds, Tsuki was able to pinpoint what exactly this difference was.
"I see, truly outstanding. To be able to modify the formation to such an extend using the pendant is simply spectacular, by using an artifact instead of simply adding more blood from devils, the effect of the formation is enhanced to a new level while using the power of the pendant at the same time; this can't be called the Blood Devil Suppression Formation anymore, this is an entirely new creation."
Tsuki once again praised with sincerity, by using the pendant, it was taking the place of a material used. Artifacts themselves were tools made from beasts, so in theory, an entire formation made of artifacts was doable! But in this case, using the Blood Devil Suppression Formation as the supplementary force was a wise choice.
Even now, Tsuki was able to feel the suppression from the pendant, they had deceived him into thinking that it was primarily used to suppress the hellfire; this was evidently not the case at all. The true use of this was to repress the soul.
Furthermore, his entire supply of Demonic Energy was being sealed off, and this effect would last for quite some time.
"Tell me, what's the name of this formation?"
Tsuki couldn't help but inquire with curiosity as Azazel gave a thoughtful look, he hummed before he finally gave an answer.
"Hmm, I'll just call it 'Hell Suppression Formation' short and simple, no?"
Azazel questioned Tsuki as the restrained man nodded, it was a good enough name for such a powerful formation, there was no doubt that once it was revealed, the entirety of the Devil Faction would feel fear.
To use the corpses of three High Class Devils and an artifact to restrict the son of Doku, a legendary Ultimate Class being? It would shake the foundation of the underworld and might even erupt a wave of desire for war.
The Fallen Angels to the side looked at the scene with a dumbfounded expression, how could they converse so calmly? Wasn't his life threatened by their leader? Why was he acting in such a way? Even Neru gazed at them with uneasiness, it seemed as if something massive was about to happen.
"I'm forced to agree, this formation is truly wonderful. For letting me get so close to my enemies, it truly is an amazing formation."
Azazel's eyes widened as Tsuki smiled, traces of silver aura began to slowly slither out from his body unceasingly; Armaros' body shook with fear and shock, someone else also had Anti-Magic.
At this moment, a wave of terror and absolute shock swept through the hearts of Neru and the younger Fallen Angels, the sight of the corroding blood chains further amplifying their emotions; Tsuki was too terrifying.
As the slivers of silver energy began to spread forward, Azazel's expression changed completely, although the formation suppressed the core and soul of the Devil -which basically cripples them for some duration- Tsuki was a special case who could use Anti-Magic.
As the condensed silver energy surged from the Devil's body, they immediately targeted the corpses and artifact of the formation. Before Azazel could act, a chain reaction occurred soon after as the artifact shattered under the pressure.
With a deafening sound, the formation exploded in a large burst of crimson flames that were sent outwards, harming both Tsuki and the Fallen Angels in its fierce fiery rage. The power of the explosion immediately caused the corpses of Neru's teammates to shrivel up and dissipate, in the nearby vicinity nothing was left alive.
The sudden combustion was powerful enough to even seriously harm the younger Fallen Angels and wound Neru, they were caught off guard and with the tight space of the valley they were in, they were forced to bear the brunt of it.
As the sudden implosion of the formation caused eerier dense gray smoke to rise and spread throughout the destroyed valley, Tsuki's voice rang from inside with calmness, as if everything had gone as he had expected.
"I need to thank you Azazel, truly. I appreciate your cooperation with my experiment, I wouldn't be able to tap into Anti-Magic any other possible way. So thank you, for falling into my scheme."
What was the secret regarding Anti-Magic? What was the obstacle that stood between generations of heroes and champions from comprehending it? It was actually something so inconceivably simple.
Although he found his answer, Tsuki inwardly gave an extremely bitter smile.
'What's the use of knowing this? The time I can use it is limited, who knows when the effects of the Formation will wear off, for now it's better to use this magic with caution.'
The truth was, to use Anti-Magic, one needed to follow a single rule: have no access to your core! What did this imply to Tsuki who technically has but doesn't have one? It meant that as long as he was able to use a drop of mana, whether it was active or not, Anti-Magic would be completely unusable.
Simply put, to use Anti-Magic, one must have zero mana in their bodies at all times.
It was something nearly no Devil or being could achieve, to have no mana meant being treated as an abomination. In the current era, strength ruled above all, as such, even if one did reach the requirements for Anti-Magic they would be suppressed before they even had the dream of obtaining it.
Even Tsuki at the moment has only temporarily grasped Anti-Magic, it was because the formation had sealed his mana away, as such, once he regained his mana once more then he would lose the chance to use it again without backlash.
What a pity.
Either way, he forced a front of bravado, the less Azazel knew, the better.
"Hmph, even if you can use Anti-Magic, just how proficient will you be in it? How long will you be able to last with a magic you have no techniques in? Furthermore, you stood at the center of the formation, tell me, how seriously are you wounded? I bet even Neru can beat you at your current form."
Azazel immediately found the flaw in Tsuki's state as he waved his arm, he has long since learned his lesson; he won't be giving Tsuki the chance to distract him using the smoke! With his simple motion, large howling winds carried the smoke and dragged it far away, as this happened, Tsuki's shirtless and wounded frame appeared before them.
Before they could fully gather their gazes at the Devil, his body erupted with silver energy that encompassed the entire valley, despite facing off against Azazel not too long ago and dealing with the brunt of the explosion; Tsuki still displayed the power of a peak Ultimate Class being!
Azazel's expression turned ugly as his mind churned.
Why and when did Tsuki obtain Anti-Magic? Was this the reason why he was so confident even after being detained by the formation? Or perhaps he already recognized that there would be a formation and used that chance to harm them? Was he just lucky? Or was this his shocking talent being fully displayed?
Azazel did not know.
Gazing at Tsuki with complex emotions, a wave of calmness swept through his heart as he gave a laugh. How long has it been since he felt like this? How long has it been since he acknowledged the talent of others?! Far, far too long.
Azazel grinned, and whether he would like to admit it or not, in his mind and being, he realized the reason why those crazy warmongering Fallen Angels wanted another Great War. The feeling of true combat, the pain, the suffering, the adrenaline, all of these drove them, there was simply no other greater feeling in the world.
As such, for the first time in a long time, white and black aura erupted from Azazel's body like a tidal wave; at this moment, the ancient beast that slaughtered without a care during the Great War has once again rosen.
The wounded Fallen Angels on the side could only take a step back, fear was prevalent in their expressions along with Neru's. Even Armaros' eyebrows furrowed as he adapted a face of caution, against another Anti-Magic user, he truly had no idea how the battle would conclude.
As Tsuki placed a step forward in the air, their expressions changed as their bodies tensed as if preparing for war. Without a sound, the heir's aura seemed to cover the valley and enshroud the hearts of his enemies with fear; it was too domineering, too frightening.
Yet, just as this vast and grand aura appeared, it vanished just as soon. Gazing in a different direction -much to the shock of his enemies- his figure was dyed with an extremely faint silver hue as he bursted with incomparable speed.
After this, there was a moment of silence.
Azazel sighed, feeling quite a headache, his aura died down as he stared at the spot where Tsuki was previously at.
'To follow or not to follow…'
Over the course of their battle and information he has been given from his subordinates, his understanding of Tsuki could be said to be rather high; he was a Devil that could slip and progress through any situation, his talent would shake and awe the world, he wasn't someone that could easily be underestimated.
It was for this reason Azazel showed hesitation, he knew that if Tsuki had confidence in dealing with him and his allies then he would've done so; yet, he chose to flee, why? Most would say it was because he was weaker but Azazel knew that he contained many trump cards.
Furthermore, for how long will his mana be restrained? A minute? An hour? It could be at the very next moment. Or perhaps, Tsuki had Anti-Magic all along and was merely giving off the impression that he was restrained. There were many possibilities.
If Azazel rashly followed him, he might be ambushed and harmed, or at least provide enough time for Tsuki to successfully escape; neither were something Azazel would be willing to see and allow.
As Azazel watched from afar, using his special methods to see countless miles with his eyes, his expression eventually changed into shock and joy.
'He's going to Cocytus?'
After thinking for some time, he inwardly nodded, this was indeed a wise tactic that would buy the Satanachia heir some precious time to recuperate. With time, he would return to his peak state and would eventually escape Azazel's grasp, foiling his plans completely.
Furthermore, choosing to go to Cocytus was extremely tactical. Cocytus itself was the mountain, it was like a home with many floors, but to get to each of these floors was complicated and dangerous, often riddled with many traps and formations from past generations.
Only one with an extremely accurate map would have an easy time maneuvering around this home known as Cocytus, and Azazel knew for a fact that Tsuki was the sole possessor of one. Azazel could also grab a map from Grigori, but by the time he came back Tsuki would have already disappeared.
Azazel sighed in dejection, as long as Tsuki had time, he would be able to return to his former state, all of their efforts would be in vain. As such, he had no choice but to follow him into the depths of Cocytus.
Yet even as ideas churned inside his head, never would Azazel think that the Devil wasn't going to Cocytus because of the terrain and advantage it contained, but because of Samael who laid beneath!
000
As Tsuki flew through the air, complicated emotions and intricate thoughts flashed through his mind. At this point in time, escaping from Cocytus is too dangerous and would turn the situation for the worse; he had no idea what methods Azazel possessed, and without a complicated layout, Tsuki couldn't maneuver and deceive his way out and as such only left one path open.
To enter Cocytus and find Samael.
But doing so was far easier said than done, Cocytus had many layers that resembled caverns, finding the path to the bottom would prove to be extremely arduous as he evaded the traps laid by the Original Satans.
Due to the map he had, it was simple to reach any layer he wanted, but that wasn't the problem. The problem was the hefty time it took to get there; it would actually be even more troublesome since he would have to conceal the traces of where he went.
This was only amplified by the severe wounds he suffered from the explosion of the Blood Devil Suppression Format, if he was careless these injuries would be the cause of his death, it would be laughable.
But the risk was worth it, it was reckless and almost idiotic to feign playing into Azazel's hand, but given enough time the rewards would come flowing.

He frowned deeply, most of his power could be considered to be sealed away by the formation, and while he retained Anti-Magic, it was nearly useless in his current hands unless he compiled dozens of rapidly made skills.
Damn, that sucks man.
Hearing the System's casual remark, Tsuki shook his humorly, it was indeed a pity that even if he created hundreds or thousands of techniques involving Anti-Magic, in an hour they would all be less than useless.
For now, survival was the main priority.
'Allocate all stat points into endurance.'
And for that, he was going to need health, a lot of health.
Good to see that you aren't being a dumbass, give me a second, this'll take just a second.
With a ding resounded within his ear he landed at the sealed snowy entrance of the first floor of Cocytus, Tsuki gave a deep sighed as he indebted his finger into the snow and moved it in an elegant pattern; this was the method used to open up the entrance to Cocytus, it was rather simple but took quite some time to do, a single mistake and the person would be forced to restart.
Cold sweat poured from Tsuki's forehead as the pressure on his mind intensified, even though he was certain Azazel would be slowed by some extent due to Tsuki's action, he couldn't help but feel agitated as his movements quickened.
Giving a deep sigh of relief, the snow of the mountain in front of Tsuki melted and the ground that laid beneath it began to separate. Without delay, Tsuki dashed inside just as he entered the door closed behind him with a slight thud.
Glancing at the passageway, Tsuki's expression remained gloomy. There was little chance Azazel would risk destroying the entrance, such a thing would immediately alert both Grigori and the Six Houses of Lucifer; it was the very last thing Azazel wanted.
Yet Tsuki knew the time it would give him was negligible, two minutes? Four at the most? It wouldn't buy him enough time, at best he would be able to traverse a quarter of a layer and that was if he used his full speed without concerning the consequences.
His mind moved as he continued to stare, and with a bang a sudden flash of inspiration appeared in his mind.
"The Gamer System allows me to buy anything I have ever desired, right?"
At his question, the System remained silent before replying.
Theoretically, yes, technically, no. The Shop only gives you access to stuff in the level of your world, so you can't buy something that is countless times stronger than Great Red or Ophis. If you were in a normal world, you wouldn't even be able to buy Captain America's shield.
Tsuki nodded in acceptance, this was already something he expected and had checked himself during his free time; while the Gamer Shop was vast and wide, it certainly contained a limit on what he could purchase. If he intended to surpass this limit and purchase something beyond the power of his world, the cost would simply be enormous. Tsuki calculated that he would have to plunder Earth, Heaven, and the entirety of the Underworld to cover a fraction of the cost.
"I can purchase artifacts, potions, corpses, and even scrolls to increase my skills to some degree; leveling scrolls being the sole exception. If I can purchase those, can I purchase an entire formation?"
His question was once again met with a moment of silence and quiet mumbling that he couldn't make up.
You… You can but the cost is at least double of what it would be if you yourself made up the formation, some of the higher formations also needed certain conditions which 'could' be ignored using credits but…
A cold smile soon crawled its way onto Tsuki's face, while his mana may have been completely sealed, that doesn't mean his Gamer System and its shop were too. Opening up said shop, Tsuki couldn't help but be amazed at the options that were presented to him.

Tsuki's smile grew, if he had the resources to stall for time and ensure that Azazel and his group were harmed before they met him, then Tsuki had no reason to not invest into the formations from the Gamer Shop.
The System could only watch in shock as Tsuki purchased dozens of formations of various kinds, their power and effects varying to a large degree, some were small and barely noticeable while others were present and weak, but even such formations would have an advantage.
Tsuki hummed with curiosity as he held a 'formation', telling someone that they can wield a formation on their palm was laughable, but that was what Tsuki was currently doing at the moment.
On his palm, he gripped a small black and golden dagger.
Naturally, this wasn't an ordinary dagger that one would use for combat. In fact, even if Tsuki did so, it would do little to no damage even against normal bunnies and bugs. This dagger was simple, it was a Formation Dagger.
By stabbing the ground, the user can instantly implement a Formation that has already been absorbed by the dagger, it is frightening. Usually formations were fixed, but by using the dagger one could change the location of a formation with ease.
Just this artifact that allowed such a thing caused ripples of emotion in Tsuki's heart as he praised its ingenuity endlessly. If it were to be revealed, the Four Schools would instantly prosper and clans would start placing their resources into Formation Masters.
Formation Masters would occupy the number one seat among the Four schools -if he didn't include Elemental Forging-. Tsuki felt a strong urge to research the Formation Dagger at the moment, as long as he mass produced them, the strength of his army would surge.
'Naturally, such a powerful artifact is being given to me because it has restrictions'
The System expressed that while a true Formation Dagger can be used endlessly, because this artifact was given to him due to his purchase of formations, it would evaporate as soon as all the formations he bought were used; Tsuki easily accepted this fact, it was only logical and he didn't hold any extravagant hopes of keeping it.
Nodding in satisfaction, he stabbed the dagger into the snow, and just as he did this a bright white light encompassed and engulfed his vision. As he opened his eyes, he was pleased to see one of the formations had already been placed.
Luckily, he could choose which formation to place with just a thought, or else it would be far too troublesome.
As the formation was placed, Tsuki quickly got to work as he explored the first layer while occasionally placing formations; his speed was unusually fast as he did so, he reinforced previous formations or made obvious ones, he could only do this due to the map he obtained.
While Tsuki did this, an evil cackle echoed in his mind, something he casually ignored.
Heheh, oh this'll be fun.

Azazel
As Azazel's figure dropped down from the sky, his eyes darted in every direction, his energy sweeping in all directions to try and locate Tsuki. After a few minutes of doing so, he was assured that Tsuki wasn't waiting in ambush or hiding it out so when they entered Cocytus he could escape.
It was only until he did this, did he give a deep sigh as he stared at the entrance to Cocytus, giving a glance to one of his subordinates, they quickly got to work to open the pathway inside. Azazel's mind churned as he waited patiently.
Tsuki's magic was sealed, so as long as they continued to pressure him, he would eventually fall into their grasp with no way out. If it was before, Azazel would be extremely cautious, but now it was simply a race against time!
With his magic restrained, Tsuki's only chance to live was to go deep into Cocytus and wait for it to be naturally restored and freed; this was the very last thing he wanted to see.
The heir himself wasn't a cause for concern, no matter how talented he was, he couldn't create many Anti-Magic techniques. Even if he could, they wouldn't be strong enough to block his attacks or harm Azazel, of this he was sure of.
Creating techniques for one's magic was an extremely arduous scenario where their full attention is required, constant modifications would have to be made to become powerful, of course Anti-Magic was an exception. Just releasing it would be like a thin sheet of armor against all magic, but that's it.
Secondly, Tsuki's forte also couldn't be used, this forte was naturally Formations. It required the user to use their magic to obtain control and activate it, as such, Azazel had absolutely fear against this.
As he continued to think, the further he was assured and the more his uneasiness began to settle. The only thing he needed to be concerned about were formations and traps placed down from the past generations, especially those made by the Four Satans.
Not just that, Azazel was aware that there were a few unique arrangements left behind by Lucifer himself, since his passing, no information about these said arrangements has been revealed. Out of all the obstacles he needed to face, this was the most concerning one without a doubt.
This concerned one of the strongest beings to exist in the Underworld, if Azazel was careless, he might even die!
Getting rid of his thoughts, Azazel nodded to himself inwardly, in Cocytus these were the only things he needed to be extremely wary of. As long as the special methods left behind by the Devils didn't activate, he had confidence in capturing Tsuki.
"Lord Azazel, the entrance has been opened"
Hearing the voice of his subordinates, Azazel gave a plain nod as he remained vigilant. Taking a step forward into the entrance, his eyes widened as water spiraled around them, forming a tight defensive wall.
The mid-sized formation was big enough to host the five Fallen Angels and single Devil, but what surprised everyone was its appearance; it was like a constantly falling waterfall, it gave one a sense of serenity.
"What the!?"
"A Formation already? How did Tsuki manage to not trigger it?"
Shock and confusion were prevalent in their tones as Azazel frowned, from a glance the formation seemed harmless, but as seconds passed he was able to see this circular wall slowly closing in on them; with time, it would crush them into meat paste.
Indeed, just how did Tsuki evade this? At this question, Azazel came up with a horrifying possibility.
'Don't tell me, he has a way to be unaffected by all traps in Cocytus?'
If he did indeed possess such a method, then there was a good chance that Tsuki would be able to release his seal and fight them head on; or even worse, escape to Lucifaad. Returning to the current situation, Azazel raised his arm as he grunted.
"Petty tricks"
Dazzling light formed under his muscular arm as he threw a dense spear of light towards the formation. Usually, brute force would only bring the opposite effect but if the Formation was weak enough then it would immediately burst.
Contrary to everyone's expectations, the spear didn't penetrate through the formation with ease, instead, like an object colliding against the soiled mud, it began to slowly sink into the dense waves of water.
In a matter of seconds before Azazel could act, a tenth of the water was dyed in regal gold!
'This is…!'
As he stared at this formation, a single name came to mind "Aquatic Absorption Formation". It was a renowned formation that had the grand feat of stalling against the Four Satans at their prime.
It was said that in the formation, the Satans took a full hour to completely destroy it and they even suffered injuries while doing so, no one knew who created it, but it was instantly regarded as one of the strongest formations in history!
Azazel has only heard rumors regarding it, but to think he would actually have the honor of witnessing it during his mission. Was the creator of the formation a devil? Or perhaps the Satans comprehended it and used it here as an arrangement? What sort of price did they pay to place this?
Only Tsuki knew exactly what price he himself had to pay for such a formation. He did this for a single reason, if the first one was so strong and formidable, didn't it stand to reason that the others might be equal or even stronger than it? By forming this thought, they would proceed with further caution which would buy him even more time.
The following minutes were tortuous for Azazel, every time he unleashed one of his attacks, the waterfall formation would send the previous one back; if he sent blood magic attacks at it, it would gain another color, meaning it would attack him with his own skills.
His expression became increasingly gloomy as time went on, one of the younger Fallen Angels, Haru, has already perished due to the frightening power of the Formation. With Anti-Magic, Blood, Light, Fire, Ice, Magic all being used at once, they collided and disrupted one another which eventually led to accumulated injuries and then death.
Of course, Azazel eventually gained a grasp of the formation.
'The maximum capacity it can hold is around ten different forms of magic, furthermore they must reach a certain level of power or else the attack will just be bounced back without being absorbed. As such, to destroy it, one must give it ten different forms of magic and then attack with a completely different kind at the end!'
With such a little amount of time, he instantly deduced the flaw in the formation and began to target it. An array of multicolored waves of Holy Energy and a single Demonic Energy shot at the quivering aquatic blue waves.
Seeing the waves inside slowly halt as it absorbed the ten different forms of magic, Azazel quickly shouted to his general.
"Now Armaros!"
Coasting his battle axe in a silver hue, it struck the Aquatic Absorption Formation with all his might, with the sound of water splashing against the ground, the formation was broken without any explosion or sound; it was almost anticlimactic.
Azazel gave a deep sigh of relief, just this formation expended nearly a dozen minutes of their time and they even lost a promising youngling that could've been Ultimate Class with a few more dozen years, it was a pity.
Luckily, even an almighty formation like the Aquatic Absorption Formation couldn't withstand the raging waves of the River of Time, over the years its might has clearly corroded and decreased to a great extent.
Or at least this is the theory Azazel came up with. In truth, the formation that Tsuki had bought had many variations of it, he merely bought the weakest one so they would become dejected. If he used his funds to purchase the mightiest one, he wouldn't have enough -even with his wealth- to obtain hundreds of others.
As Azazel gazed at his surroundings, he sighed in amazement. Cocytus was indeed something worthy of being made by the greatest creator, God. Not only did it contain all vicious criminals in history, it had the power to keep them captive for all eternity.
Yet he couldn't help but feel hate, to access the higher and lower layers of Cocytus, specific hidden paths needed to be taken as the danger of traversing would increase exponentially. And in the entirety of Cocytus, only one man possessed the map.
Azazel gave a deep sigh as they flew around the first layer, everywhere they went, frozen sky blue ice laid below them. Visible to the naked eye, many figures were frozen down below, cluttering around at the top and against each other.
Even at the roof of the first layer, they hung like stalagmites, it was a horrifying scene but they easily ignored this.
On the way to find the first layer, they encountered many obstacles along the way. Be it a multitude of formations or Cocytus itself, they greatly impeded their movements. Eventually their luck turned for the better.
Much to the joy of Azazel, they found the single access point that led to the bottom and top layer of Cocytus. Of course, his joyous emotions were dampened as he considered the loss he suffered to obtain it.
On the way, all of their young elites were sacrificed and only Azazel, Armaros, and Neru were left to explore Cocytus. It was barely the first layer and Fallen Angels who had the potential to reach Ultimate Class already died, it showed just how terrifying the arrangements left behind were.
As they entered the access point, their view changed entirely at that moment.
While the first layer was like a large frozen cavern, the access point they had found in one of the large prison-like stalagmites immediately teleported them to a secluded room in Cocytus. Even Azazel sighed once more but in amazement.
Such prowess to forcefully transport beings like Azazel without any resistance was indeed the work of God and the Satans. After a period of a few seconds as they adjusted to the sudden teleportation, they began to inspect their new location with interest; evidently it was their first time there since most people wouldn't have reasons to enter and explore the layers of Cocytus.
Cocytus could be said to have a total of eleven layers, five layers going down deep into the mountain while the other five went upwards towards the peak; the first layer they were at before acted as the 'base' towards the second layer of up and down.
Standing on a platform, Azazel looked down to see a large bottomless hole and then upwards to see another hole that seemingly had no end. Azazel gave another bitter smile, evidently, they would have to split up to make sure Tsuki didn't go in the other hole, going in as a group and choosing the wrong hole might even cause Tsuki to laugh in joy.
Azazel turned to Neru and Armaros, they immediately understood as Neru spoke with a tone of leadership.
"We'll split up here, Armaros and I shall go to the top while Lord Azazel will go to the bottom. Our communications artifacts seem to be functional so we can use them to contact each other if we see Tsuki. Furthermore, we'll leave a sign towards the other party in where the other access points for the layers are, it'll save us a lot of time and energy to get to Tsuki"
Even though Azazel could be considered the leader of the group, he allowed Neru to give commands immediately agreed with them, it was the wisest choice after all. Separately, Neru and Armaros can't hold against Tsuki for all that long if he recovers his magic, but together they definitely could hold him down until Azazel arrived.
One didn't even need to ask if Azazel could restrain Tsuki until the other two arrived, in fact, he may even capture him before they did so.
After giving a simple nod towards each other, Azazel immediately flew down slowly while Neru and Armaros shot up towards the hole.
At this point in time, Tsuki was already traversing through the fifth layer of Cocytus!

Tsuki
In a barren field of bone penetrating ice, a single figure dragged his wounded ragged body with difficulty, naturally this single figure was none other than Tsuki.
Merely because he possessed the map to Cocytus didn't mean he wouldn't suffer along the way, implementing formations along his travels and his lack of magic caused serious consequences to Tsuki.
The traps and arrangements arranged by the Satans and God were indeed horrifying! Tsuki still felt lingering fear and he hadn't even been trapped by them, he held high anticipation as to when Azazel arrived.
Of course, just the Formations and special areas of the lower four layers couldn't cause such wounds on Tsuki, in fact, he felt like he was walking into his own backyard. Although he still remained vigilant and cautious, especially with magic sealed, nothing could've prepared him for what laid in the final layer.
Riddled with Runes, Enchantments, and Formations in every corner and speck of snowflake in the room, the final layer was like one massive death prison; it left absolutely no way for one to enter!
He only suffered injuries due to this layer, it showed just how horrifying it was even when he had the map on him. Of course, in the end it was all worth it.
Eyes gazing towards the deathroom of Cocytus, his eyes glimmered with gratitude, when he escaped into the surface then he would do his best to replicate each and every arrangement in the room to the best of his abilities.
Unlike the other floors of Cocytus that contained hundreds of thousands of prisoners and spanned across dozens if not hundreds of miles, the final room was a little more special compared to the rest.
Barren of any bumpy layers, not a single pebble, stone, ice block, and accumulated snow could be seen within this room. Instead, it was incomparably flat and smooth, a thin layer of snow laid beneath Tsuki's shoes but they didn't sink in which showed just how shallow the snow there was.
Hundreds of Formations and schemes from the Satans laid broken and or evaded by Tsuki as he took hesitant steps forward towards the middle of the room. Although it was desolate there with nothing in sight, there was only a single thing here.
Standing tall in pristine ivory form, four grand pillars were indebted around a cross and intertwined with each other; sparks and small miniature balls of light could be seen being produced and grouping against the cross.
Tsuki's expression morphed into excitement as he speed increased, the droplets of blood that were absorbed by the snow paved a bloody pathway but he couldn't find it within himself to care as he eventually reached his destination.

Nailed to the cross, Sameal's large figure was held by over dozens of abyssal nails that stuck to each and every single one of his limbs and wings into a certain pattern; it actually resembled a hexogran.
On these nails and cross were blood red ancient markings that Tsuki deciphered were enchantments, Tsuki's guess were that they were meant to enhance the effects of his restraints and blindfold.
Scanning his figure deeper, Tsuki was quite surprised by his appearance.
Wearing a red rag that could barely be counted as a blindfold, it was drenched in his crimson blood, two evident streaks of blood going downward from where his eyes would be stained his cheeks.
But that wasn't what surprised Tsuki.
Rather it was his extremely large figure that held the appearance of a handsome young male with white pointy fangs, his lower body resembled that of a long chinese dragon trail, except its scales were that of unfathomable darkness and gave one an eerie feeling.
More spectacularly, large black wings drenched in blood were nailed down. He was actually half Fallen Angel!
Even as he was sealed, an intense pressure surrounded Tsuki's figure and threatened to squash him under its intensity. Instead of feeling rational fear, Tsuki instead felt higher expectations and satisfaction by this.
Even if Tsuki couldn't show his true might, he still felt that he wouldn't be that better off even then! It was no wonder God himself imprisoned Samael in Cocytus, such power could easily rival Satan Class beings.
He was extremely pleased.
Just as he was about to speak, an extremely hoarse and exhausted voice spoke inside of Tsuki's mind.
'So, you have finally arrived Tsuki Satanachia'
Just as Tsuki heard this, his mind shook in shock, fear, and confusion. Questions couldn't help but appear inside his mind one after another, Thought Processing was used to the fullest as Tsuki's steps completely froze and halted in place.
'Heh, don't be afraid little one'
As he heard Samael continue to speak, the Samael on the cross grinned. With wide eyes, Tsuki immediately took a large backward dash, the action caused his body to throb in pain as he suppressed the injuries to the best of his power.
Much to Tsuki's irritation, the rough manly voice spoke again, undisturbed by Tsuki's mental defenses.
'Why isn't Gamer's Mind activating?'
Tsuki felt a distinct sensation of fear, was Samael actually strong enough to ignore Gamer's Mind? Just as this thought came to Tsuki, it was just as easily discarded by him because it was simply impossible. If that were the truth then that meant The Creator was weaker than Samael!
Hmph, in front of The Creator, that slimy snake might as well be a pebble for The Creator to kick aside!
The System immediately said in anger, it was clearly irritated that Tsuki held the thought that The Creator was weaker than Samael. But still, he simply didn't know why Samael could bypass his defenses, it was illogical.
This time, the System answered her host's question.
It's rather simple actually, Gamer's Mind prevents harmful psychological attempts on your mind, right? Well then, if this was the case then it stands to reason that the reason Samael can use telepathy to talk with you is because it doesn't pose any threat to you.
The System assessed as Tsuki held his position in silence, the words of his System did indeed make sense. It was logical but the sudden intrusion inside his mind placed him into a state of shock, after taking a deep breath he calmly walked forward and stood before the large half fallen Angel and Chinese Dragon.
As Samael watched this, he chuckled roughly.
'No wonder my master places such importance on you, you are indeed worthy of obtaining his recognition'
At the half-Fallen Angels's words, Tsuki frowned heavily. Master? Did Samael mean God? That couldn't be the case right? Wouldn't he bear huge hatred for being sealed and basically tortured? It made no sense for the large being to still serve and revere the dead old man.
Sensing Tsuki's confusion, Samael laughed even louder, the room briefly shook before the red enchantments on the nails and his body brightened, further restricting him.
'My Master isn't someone you know, he isn't from this world nor the world you belong to'
Samael's words proceeded to shake Tsuki's heart, even as the large half-dragon noticed, he still continued to speak clearly inside his mind.
'He himself told me about you, Tsuki Satanachia. Or should I call you by your real name, Arthur Aphelion!'
Tsuki's pupils dilated to a large degree as he took a step back, his mental state took a huge hit. Ever since his rebirth, no schemes or attacks could compare to the words that Samael spoke, it regarded his largest secret!
Even the System itself was at a complete loss for words as it began to mumble.
That...t-that's impossible! No one should know about your past life! The Creator himself made sure that no beings in this… world… he made sure beings in this world didn't know about you or your arrival but that doesn't mean people from other worlds don't know.
As the System continued to talk to itself, it eventually made a large discovery. While The Creator made it so no being would know of Tsuki's arrival -Ophis being the exception, she saw it but didn't know it was Tsuki- he didn't make it so nobody else knew, which left for the prospect of gods from different realms to know.
Tsuki was immediately filled with immense caution as he stared at Samael warily.
'Sigh, he knew you would react like this, but it's also the reason why he invested so much into you'
Samael's words caused ripples in Tsuki's heart, investment? What exactly did he mean by that? Despite Tsuki not knowing the specifics, his intuition told him that this moment held significant meaning!
He couldn't help but inquire with unconcealed curiosity.
"Invested into me? What exactly do you mean by that?"
As if expecting the question, the Samael that hung on the cross grinned even further.
'Didn't you realize? The changes made to this world? Who do you think changed everything? It wasn't what you people call The Creator, it was him! My master! On Top of this, he gave you Elemental Forging, Soul Devourer, and even gifted you the two Sacred Gear users; why do you think they were there at the same spot at the same time?'
Once again, Tsuki was in deep shock, his mind running wild as he recalled all of those events. Elemental Forging in itself was priceless! How did it end up in the hands of the auction? How could they possess the only one and why would Tsuki acquire it so easily?
Tsuki knew it would be vital for his future growth, furthermore, it was the sole reason why Michael established a relationship with him. With just his formation skills, Michael wouldn't be as kind to him, he wouldn't possess all that much value.
W-why?! Why would he do that?
Even the System cried out in shock, clearly seeking an answer. And as if he could hear her, he responded with a sigh as he spoke. Tsuki stood in silence as he tried to comprehend the info he had just been told.
'How could I possibly know what my Master is thinking? He only informed me of all of this knowledge and gave me the power to see all your actions but his true goal is unknown to me. He only needs you to trust him'
Did that mean Samael knew of what Tsuki would be obtaining before it even happened? Was his master's foresight that great? How did he obtain some control over the world? Why did he know of Tsuki specifically?
Regaining his bearings, Tsuki sneered as he spoke with contempt.
"Then how can he expect me to trust him? He might have given me all of those abilities, but without knowing his grand goal, how could I possibly trust him?"
Samael frowned in displeasure, the atmosphere around Tsuki immediately tensed but he couldn't be bothered, he knew enough to make sure that Samael wouldn't kill him due to his value. As such, the tension in the air displayed instantly as it spoke in a displeased tone.
"Hmph, he knew of your nature far too well, here, maybe this'll change your mind"
Just as Samael finished his words, the room began to shake with immense pressure, it almost seemed as if the final layer of Cocytus was about to collapse within itself. Tsuki was immediately on guard, even if he didn't possess his previous magic, he could still decently harm Samael in his current state.
Contrary to the many possible ideas that circulated through Tsuki's mind, instead, three formless aura of varying colors began to descend from above, they were blood red, abyssal black, and silvery white.
Shooting down like a comet, before he could dodge the beam, the red aurora like ray of light shot to his figure and entered his chest.
Much to his astonishment, all visible and non visible wounds began to close and properly heal as if he had never suffered any harm from Azazel or the formations, be it the Bloody Devil Suppression or the other formations inside of the fifth layer.

Tsuki's eyes widened considerably, while his stats and credits gained no boost at all, there was evidently a new title next to his classes, Anti-Warrior.
The sole reason why Tsuki hadn't chosen a new class despite being able to do so was because he would be forced to choose between Warrior and or Rogue. After this, once he completes another Class Quest, he would be able to fuse Mage and whichever he chose, this was the only available path and was the cause of his hesitation.
But now, while his class quest reward of obtaining another class was gone, he obtained something significantly better!
As he was thinking, two more lights descended from the sky and shot straight at Tsuki. Instead of defending or dodging, Tsuki happily got struck by the two, in fact, he wished countless more lights attacked him!
If the first light healed his wounds, removed the seal, and gave him a way to use Anti-Magic without discarding his other magic, then how significant were the others? To say the least, he held high expectations.
But what he didn't expect was for the two lights to condense and form a small figure, no, figure would be the wrong word, it would be more correct to say bug!
In his two palms lay two small bugs, one resembling a cute silver ladybug with gold spots while the other was like a coiling hundred legged centipede, it was black and red. Tsuki's interest was piqued.
Before he could even question, Samael spoke.
'The ladybug, once crushed, will give you vast amounts of classified and vital information. The other one must be eaten but the effects are extraordinary, once eaten, a single skill of yours will reach the pinnacle, for only a single use of course'
Tsuki looked at the two bugs in his palms with a complicated gaze. No matter how much he used Thought Processingor how much he looked back on his past life experiences, he still couldn't figure out what Samael's Master's aim was. There was no logical explanation as to why he would nurture and give so much to him without wanting something back.
Jeez Tsuki! Just nod your head and smile! Who cares if his master has some intention, right now he isn't here demanding anything, right? So then what's the use of worrying about something that isn't here?
At the System's words, Tsuki found himself nodding in agreement. As long as this 'Master' wasn't here demanding something from Tsuki, then he would just accept the gifts without shame. His situation was too perilous and life threatening for Tsuki to care about the small details.
Yet, he found himself wanting to ask more. Two important questions that he needed to ask.
'I already know your thoughts little one, unfortunately for you, I was left here as an arrangement by my Master, I can not be moved or be allied with you as a subordinate. My Master's plans and schemes are absolute, any method you use may cause a backlash'
Tsuki sighed, he was neither dejected or sad, he had a feeling that this would be the case ever since he found out about Samael's master.
But he still had a single question left.
"Just… just who exactly is your master?"
This question caused deafening silence, Samael who laid in the cross seemed to ponder about the same question before opening his mouth to speak, instead of course speaking, his telepathy reached Tsuki's mind and spoke.
His deep voice reverberated inside Tsuki's consciousness with deep reverence.
'He is the almighty one who reigns supreme under the heavens, the defiant one who walks against fate, the one envied by all beings, the one who rules all beings, the one whose talent shook all of creation at birth!'
As Samael's worshiping tone reached Tsuki's ears, the Devil's heart couldn't help but shake but suspicion remained in his heart; were these titles and words said about his master merely the babbling of a servant, or did they carry truth?
He continued to listen on with increasing attention.
'He is known by many names, The Envied One, The Terror. Although, he does have a name few know of and has blessed you with it, he is…'
Tsuki held onto his breath, his expression of indifference wavering as Samael proceeded to finish.
'The King of Fortune and Calamity, &!* Vermillion!'
As if struck by a heavy blow, both Samael and Tsuki coughed up blood, their expressions paling considerably and their bodies weakening to a large degree. It was as if the mere mention of his name injured them, it was frightening to imagine.
With a quick mutter and glance at his stats, Tsuki grimaced, with just that single injury, his HP dropped by more than half.
Tsuki, are you okay?! That goddamn bastard, he speaks of trust but he actually harmed you.
Although the System's indignant voice spoke to him with a viscous and growling tone, it seemed as if she had also suffered to some degree, her voice hollow and staggering at times with long periods of silence.
Even the System was harmed, but what was the cause? Was it the mere mention of his name? What sort of power was that?! Even Ophis and Great Red couldn't perform such miracles. And to top it all off, his name was seemingly censored, as if suppressed by the world itself.
Just as Tsuki thought this, Samael's weakened voice resounded in his head once more.
'I-I must apologize for that, I had forgotten the effects of relaying his name to anyone, I guarantee you that it's not something he can control, it merely comes with his status'
Hearing the sincere apology, Tsuki understood but showed an expression of anger.
"How can I trust such words? What if it was his attempt to kill me? You two speak of trust and sincerity but you actually harmed me."
Samael sighed at Tsuki's words, he's lived since the dawn of creation, although he wasn't able to see the outside world for all that long he knew enough to see one's true personality; although he knew Tsuki was acting and was still moved, there wasn't any way he couldn't.
Luckily, his master still had one single arrangement left behind in case
'Hmph, I know of your personality far too well to fall for your little act, fortunately for, my Master left behind one more arrangement that'll show his sincerity'
At this, Tsuki couldn't help but raise his eyebrow as his heart participated in excitement. He has already raised the value and power of Samael's supposed master in his heart, after receiving such a massive boost in power, he had high expectations for his very last method.
'In fact, this last arrangement is the one that will help you with your current dilemma. To perform this method, I'll have to activate a method that Master left behind to suppress the seals. After this, you must crush the centipede and use Soul Devourer on me!'
Just as he expected, Tsuki was instantly moved, there's no reason not to be. To devour Samael using Soul Devourer meant a qualitative change to his entire being, it was something not even normal Satan Class couldn't compare with.
Tsuki gained a large grin as he said impatiently. Yet, his grin dimmed as he saw the inaction of the large beast, it was hesitant. Samael immediately sensed this as he snorted in displeasure, he said with a mocking and resolute tone.
'Why would I, the greatest sinner, be hesitant? I merely have a condition for you to gain my power, even though my master ordered me to as his final arrangement, I will decrease the strength of my soul so as to decrease your gains if you don't comply with my wish'
Tsuki's eyes flickered with uncertainty before nodding; with a relieved voice, Samael continued to speak as he saw this action.
'Once you obtain my power, in the future, you must pay back for what they've done to me in blood! Slaughter every god and divine being that dared to mock and insult me! Until this is met, my soul will not be at ease'
Samael's nailed figure trembled with unbound rage, the fifth layer of Cocytus intensely shook as even the nails faced difficulty in suppressing this grand being; filled with a viscous crimson aura, Samael growled as Tsuki stared with indifference.
He could tell that he already weakened the enchantments and nails on him, as long as Tsuki accepted, then they would collapse for some time which granted Tsuki a window to use his Soul Devourer.
For a long period of time Tsuki stood there in silence.
Out of the System's and Samael's expectations, he hung his head back and gave a loud hearty laugh, the joyous sound bouncing off the icy walls of the room, creating an echo effect. It couldn't be helped, Tsuki found it hilarious.
Walking forward, his barren feet were encased with blistering coldness that he ignored, a simple smirk still laid on his face. As he reached Samael's tail, his back sprouted broken blood drenched wings and with a slight effort he began to hover to reach Samael's chest.
With the same grin and joy still plastered on his face, he responded with viscous light. Opening his inventory and tossing the ladybug inside, his left palm clenched the centipede, dazzling black lights shot at his body as he did so.
"I'll gladly accept your request, now show me your sincerity, Soul Devourer!"
Shooting his hand forward, like a phantom his entire hand turned into an elusive onyx form, it was clearly the peak form of Soul Devourer. Without a sound or sensation, his hand dug into Samael's chest as he steadily took out Samael's massive dark onyx colored soul with some difficulty.
With gnashing teeth Tsuki continued to tug; Samael's figure began to shudder and slump, at the corner of his lips a faint smile found its way towards his lower non covered face. Ever since his birth, all he has known was pain and suffering, knowing nothing else besides the harshness and coldness of Cocytus.
For a brief moment of time that lasted centuries, he started to lose all hope.
It was until he met that man, his master, did hope ignite within his heart. He informed him of a Devil who would come and finally give him freedom, he would even satisfy the rage and desire for blood within his heart.
And now, not only could he finally rest, one day, the gods themselves that mocked him would be meeting the same suffering he did. Truly, he lived a life of misery and agony. But a man once said "Misery loves company" and company he shall get.
With one final pull, the massive soul that was even larger than Samael was finally pulled out after much difficulty; just as he did this, numerous notifications began to compile in Tsuki's view.

Opening his mouth, with a large gulp and a slight push, the entirety of the soul entered his mouth. As the soul sunk into him, he closed his eyes and breathed out with satisfaction, as he opened his eyes a brilliant black gleam crossed his eyes.
At this moment, black and red energy exuded from his body in large waves, the ground beneath him slowly began to crack as if unable to endure the weight of his body, the air around him seemed to distort as if repulsed by his being.
The fifth layer began to slowly crumble as Tsuki raised a single palm in front of him, he gazed at this palm with curiosity before he clenched it. Cocking his closed fingers back, pure and pristine energy condensed towards his fist.
And then he punched.

Immediately, all of Cocytus shook.

Just mention my shock when most of you seriously believed Tsuki would trust his brother and get 'captured', the same edgy and sulking Tsuki that quite literally cares about no one? Seriously, it's as if you didn't hear him recite his edge lord words of "I only care about myself"
Moving on, the next chapter is going to be pretty… heavy? Well, you'll see, I have a few things in store and planned.
Anyways, have a good day everyone.
