Dozens if not hundreds of years ago, the Great War erupted and sprung about a massacre between the Three Factions. It was a time of death and sorrow, it was a time where one had to wonder if they would survive till the next night, it was a time where friends could be one's worst enemy, it was truly dreadful.
A long time after this Great War, mysterious phenomenons appeared throughout the Underworld and Earth. Sacred Gears that transcended the limitations of humans began to sprout, the evolution of mankind was accelerated as geniuses were born. For the Underworld, only a single event occurred that drew the attention of all the Faction Leaders.
In the desolate blood stained battlefield of the Great War, a large downsided large gate appeared from thin air. Its appearance was something that couldn't be ignored, not only were beasts of mythological origin drawn to it, acting as guards, some people had even sworn that their strength would surge if one trained there for a period of time.
Whether this was true or not, no one had the guts to prove or disprove the claim. Even if one did prove it was indeed true, then the odds of exposing this precious secret was close to absolute zero, after all, why would they want more competition?
Similarly, this place soon obtained a few names, The Black Ruined Gate, The Serpent Door, The Gate of Black, The Black Gate, and etc.
Some Ultimate Class tried to open up this Serpent Door only to find themselves unable to do so, they claimed it was as if an intense weight fell on their bodies, unable to grip the handle and pull it.
Eventually, even the Descendants themselves had attempted to open it.
What came of it brought disappointment to not only the Devil Faction but the other two factions as well. The Gate of Black was like an impenetrable fortress, no matter the method used nothing would shack or harm it, its defense was extremely shocking. Simply put, no one had the strength to enter it.
Yet, inside the Ruined Gate, across a range of blazing mountains and howling plains, across the turbulent seas of thunder and chaos, across hundreds of miles of land and ocean, a single pristine crystal hall was rooted at the end.
This hall consisted of tall and sturdy ivory pillars that gleamed under the soft sounding drizzling rain that fell upon it, in the center of this hall and under the protection of these hardened structures, a single male sat.
If any supernatural being were to see this, their heart would shake and their mind would collapse, since the beginning of the gate's appearance not once has even a rumor of someone being able to get through spread, simply because no one would believe it. It was impossible for even a near Satan Class being to enter, so how could anybody else? And yet the figure inside defied and stomped on their logic.
The throne seemed transparent as colorless waves decorated it from the sides, it was as if the throne was made from these blank waves, to the common outside viewer it looked like he was sitting on air. Yet, it also carried a mysterious untold power that one wouldn't be able to grasp within their lifetime, only he knew what it was.
The male sitting on the seat was even more interesting, with closed eyes his face was held against his palm and his elbow pushing on the armrest of the throne, it was as if he fell into deep sleep.
As if disturbed, the male's eyelashes fluttered as his almost lifeless vertical gray eyes opened. Painted by the harsh vicissitudes of life, his eyes contained a sharp eerie gleem, and even more noticeably was his outlandish appearance.
Draped in a loose white linen shirt, his extremely handsome features were alleviated by his slightly exposed figure, yet these were overshadowed by the two golden curled horns at the top of his unruly black hair, pointing tall and filled with life, it gave one an intense sense of pressure.
Accompanied by his draconic vertical silver eyes, he sat like an emperor, any one who met his gaze would feel the urge to lower their head and stare down at his feet so as to not offend him.
Atop of this, a rather large thick tail extended from his back and wrapped around his back, gleaming with a regal aura, ignoring the golden tail was too difficult. All of these stacked against another made one give a startling consensus, he wasn't human, but a dragon like creature.
A soft sigh was soon exuded from his lips, his bored and completely drained irises once again attempted to close, but just as he did so an abrupt change occurred within him. Raising a delicate eyebrow, his eyes began to gleam with mysterious light.
Pouring as if it was being drained, clear water began to be pushed from the throne and formed into a bowl-like shape before the draconic male. On this bowl, clear liquid rippled intensely as the scenery on it changed to an icy mountain range.
It was actually Cocytus.
In his view, a viscous red and black aura began to surround and engulf the entirety of this land without a way to escape, it seemed to spread to every corner like an excited virus that swept through one's body.
As this happened, hundreds of thousands of formations lit up around the mountain that contained the true essence of Cocytus. The mountain range was called Cocytus while the true essence of Cocytus was merely a single mountain.
As he watched these formations form blood red light, the male snorted with displeasure. These formations were made to confine Samael if he had ever escaped, and after countless years they have finally been brought to use as it had sensed the power of its enemy once power.
Clearly, these Formations were made after many years and by a significantly strong figure.
"You're still scheming after all this time, brat? It's not so simple to interrupt, I'm afraid."
Under the mutter of his voice, the liquid bowl in front of him trembled fiercely and all of the Formations that were meticulously created by God shattered like glass. Yet he ignored this as his gaze concentrated on the pillar of crimson that erupted within the inside of Cocytus, giving a smile.
Mumbling to himself, his eyes flickered constantly as he reached up into the air, gripping onto something he seemingly pulled out a single pawn piece from nothing. It was quite a shocking sight.
This single pawn piece was unseemingly, it seemed quite ordinary, it wasn't small or big, it was neither colorful or dull, it was just a simple object. But as he tossed it into the bowl, the entirety of said bowl completely collapsed and reformed as liquid that returned to his throne.
Redirecting his gaze towards the size, it seemed to pierce through the layers of stone and walls and even the fabric of space, as if he was staring at the fracturing state of Cocytus. Giving a mysterious smile, he couldn't help but mutter to himself.
"This should be enough to suppress you, little shadow."

Azazel
Stumbling from the fourth layer, Azazel's wretched figure took staggered steps forward with much difficulty. To reach this point, it was far from easy for Azazel, he was forced to use his true power many times.
Yet, as he traversed through the layers, not once has he triggered an arrangement left by one of the Satans which was quite fortunate, in his current state he had near no confidence in being able to bear the force of one of their Formations.
If he knew that Tsuki had forcefully absorbed their arrangements with his Formation Dagger, who knows what expression he would have. While Tsuki had indirectly helped Azazel bear the brunt of their attacks -their arrangements were the main reason for Tsuki's grievous wounds- Azazel would've actually faced them head on than to give them to Tsuki!
The reason was simple, the previous fixed formations were easy to evade, one merely had to not enter Cocytus. But now that Tsuki acquired a method to transfer Formations, these arrangements left behind by the Satans could be placed anywhere with a single motion and in a quick manner. Such a thing could easily change the entire situation of a battle, even one at the Satan Class level.
Azazel could only sigh as he recalled the traps back in the previous layers, in the second layer the entire floor was composed of precious jewels that reflected off life, but this was the sole reason why he had such trouble with it.
It was like a maze, each and every direction made one reflect on whether or not they should kill themselves, in fact, Azazel had this thought many many times during the second layer. It was only made better when one considered the fact that this was something Tsuki placed, and as such was merely one component of the second layer out of dozens.
Tsuki had truly not given Azazel an easy time.
Ranging from Formations that directly sapped his strength, to illusion mist that dragged his consciousness through his worst of memories, each and every single one possessed far more strength than they had any right to be.
Fortunately the third layer posed little to no difficulty and allowed Azazel to recover, this was due to the fact that the the floor was supposed to contain the arrangements of the Satans but were robbed by Tsuki; it only contained a simple live creature now -purchased by the Gamer Shop- that took a few minutes to kill, which was mostly due to his injuries.
And now, after finally crossing and entering through the layers, walking through a tunnel as he was ever so close to his destination, it seemed like at any moment he would reach his destination. But just as he stepped onto the fifth layer, before he could comprehend the scene, a mystical energy swept through Cocytus.
Body shining with bright lustrous light, Azazel's vision of the fifth floor instantly changed. In an instant, the cold blizzard of the outside grazed against his skin as he shakingly stood at a mountain peak that was close to Cocytus; but the important matter at hand was that he was actually teleported outside!
Noticing that he wasn't alone, Azazel immediately turned to the wounded and bitter Armaros and Neru, it was obvious that even though Tsuki hadn't placed traps in the upper layers, they had still suffered. Yet, Azazel felt something else was amiss, giving Armaros a look the Fallen Angel sighed and spoke.
"You weren't the first to be transported outside, in fact, we were teleported out for at least five minutes ago. During that time we've acquired quite a bit of information, they're not… optimistic"
Just as he emphasized on the word, his brawny and bronze colored finger pointed out the outer edge of the entirety of the icy mountain range. Azazel's expression was one of shock, not only was the formation the biggest one he had seen yet, it carried enough power to forcefully send him away!
Although Armaros finished, Azazel could feel there was something else. His questioning gaze was met with a sigh from Neru, this time he decided to respond to Azazel's probing.
"We've discovered that the formation was originally meant for Samael, to discard all his malicious energy and to forcefully suppress him to once again seal him if he ever escaped"
Once again, Azazel grew shocked. Capturing Tsuki was one matter, but Samael was one entirely different and the complexity and danger of such a thing occurring couldn't be put into a few words. Was that the whole reason why he was sent out? To protect him?
Despite Azazel's thoughts, Neru continued with his explanation.
"Of course… that was at the beginning but something strange happened. It caused the entirety of the formations to change and actually helped them, it applied a barrier that neither Armaros or I could break and it's actually increasing the stability of his condition"
Neru also pointed, although to a different direction, this time Azazel had to squint his eyes and amplify his vision to see what exactly he was pointing at. In the now surprisingly broken top of Cocytus, a single chess piece rotated freely, spreading out freely with visible blue waves that were directed at the Formations.
It was evidently controlling them and Azazel couldn't even comprehend how. Yet, this wasn't what he was currently focusing on; didn't Neru saying 'actually helped them'? At this, he couldn't help but inquire.
Deep in his heart, he knew who it was.
Deep in his heart, he knew for a fact only a single person remained inside of Cocytus, a single person that could possibly have received help. Yet, he still asked, it was his final hope that he was incorrect.
"Help… who?"
At his question, Neru's expression turned extremely ugly as he spat out a single word with venom, as if it pained him to even say it he didn't even say his name.
"Him"
Azazel frowned but towards where both Armaros and Neru were looking, a single figure stood hovering right below the chess piece, his arms neatly folded as his back fully displayed the pride of all Devils; their wings.
This wasn't surprising or impressive, but the bitterness in Azazel grew as six pairs of wings sprouted from his back, occasionally they flickered with light as if they were about to disappear only to return to their solid state. Yet the amount of times this occurred slowly decreased over time, if Azazel had a special method, he would be able to see a small thread of blue enter Tsuki's body that slowly stabilized their forms.
It didn't take long for Azazel to guess the identity of the male, his eyes widened drastically.
"Is that Tsuki?"
His two subordinates could only nod as even Azazel's expression grew unsightly. Even from where he was, the pressure and energy exuding from Tsuki's body was slowly rising to Satan Class, if given enough time then the Supernatural World would be given a new Satan Class being.
This matter was far too shocking, it triumphed over the Battle of England, over the relocation of the Yokai Race, and even the matter of Samael would be firmly suppressed by Tsuki's new advancement of strength.
Why? The reason was obvious.
Tsuki's newfound strength would mean that the Underworld -more specifically the Devil Faction- had just gained another Satan Class being. With two Satan Class beings and the three descendants who could be considered quasi-Satan Class, the political situation involving the three factions would become incredibly strained.
Although Heaven had Four Seraphs, they were also considered a step below Satan Class with Michael being the only one on the same pedestal as Doku and Azazel; who were considered the leaders of their race.
Similarly, Grigori also possessed similar power and wasn't all that lacking compared to the two.
As such, each of the factions possessed around the same level of strength and it was due to this foundation that they could even dare bring up the notion of peace; of course, The Battle of England had reignited the warmongering Fallen Angels' hopes of another Great War. Luckily, Michael and Doku had a tacit agreement -and because of Tsuki's contract with Michael- they had brushed it off as nothing but a bullet graze.
Of course, they only used this as an excuse, they didn't care whether or not people believed it.
But no matter what excuse a person gave, no one would be able to suppress the idea of war once Tsuki's slowly stabilizing power was exposed; even those that were considered pacifists among Devils would be eager for war.
We have two Satan Class devils right? What's the use of peace? Let's go straight to war!
It would be a chaotic situation of which not even Doku and the added strength of the Six Houses of Lucifer and the Descendants -it was impossible for them to side with Doku, they wanted war after all- they wouldn't be able to suppress the situation.
In fact, the other races might become agitated and attack before the devils gained the upper hand. It was something Azazel and Michael would do in fact.
Of course, God being alive might hinder their plans for war, but once they truly start to investigate they would discover that he was already dead! No matter what happened after, after the matter of the Father of Angels was revealed, the Great War would once again erupt.
Although these calculations seemed long, in reality only a few seconds had passed, and as Azazel finished these calculations his expression grew darker and darker while also becoming resolute.
"I don't know what Tsuki had done to reach such a state but that doesn't matter, the point is that he's at his weakest. If we disrupt whatever is happening with him, he'll either die or fail to increase his power"
Azazel pointed out as the two others slowly nodded, this was absolutely possible and was something they had considered but couldn't due to the absence of Azazel, but now that he was here the operation would proceed a lot smoother.
"If the Chess Piece above him is what's causing his transformation or even just helping him with the Formations, then destroying it would cause the arrangements of God to settle back in place and deal with Tsuki"
Azazel showed his plan as their eyes shone with light, this was also aligned with their thoughts and theories of how Tsuki could possess such power. Of course, they also had a thought they tried to suppress.
What if Samael possessed Tsuki's body?
They shuddered.
But if that was indeed the case then it only served to give them an even bigger reason to kill off Tsuki. Shimmering with light, Azazel didn't use his wings but actually turned into a large beam of light!
Neru's eyes widened, wasn't this what one would consider the pinnacle of their proficiency in a realm of magic? To be able to turn into that element at will? Did every Faction Leader possess such skills? He could only keep these questions to himself as black bat wings sprouted from his back, Armaros reciprocated his action as many black feathered wings appeared from his back.
Although the two were fast, they couldn't compare to Azazel and as such took them longer to catch up to Azazel.
As they arrived, they were immediately invited to the sight of the onslaught of thousands of spears of light, large constructs of Holy and Blood Magic condensed and attacked the single Pawn Piece in the middle.
As they frowned -thinking that no evident fractures appeared on the pawn piece- they soon began to show joy as the piece trembled furiously, some cracks had also appeared; there was indeed a chance.
Just like that, the two began to send waves of attacks onto the plain pawn piece. It was quite a hilarious sight, a single male stood unmoving with a bored looking pawn chess piece above his head and a Satan Class being along with two Ultimates were trying to destroy the usually fragile object.
It seemed like the plot of a comedy skit.
Cocytus could begin to shake intensely under the bombardment of the vicious attacks, rays of blood red and regal golden colliding against their intended target, Anti-Magic would only cancel out the attacks of his allies so Amaros was also using Light Magic.
Neru's hands flung as blades of wind sliced through the chess piece yet no physical evidence of his attack was present. Due to the fact he was born without the Power of Dream, he was forced to dedicate himself to magic and hand-to-hand combat.
At the moment, he didn't quite know what the object was nor did he know the condition of his 'younger brother' so he could only be forced to use his weakest method, using the magic he had gathered over the countless years.
Time slowly grew as the wings of Tsuki solidified even further which caused distress and a fury of even more intense attacks that began to shake the entirety of Coytus, it would be of no surprise if people began to investigate the situation from all the sounds and dazzling display of spells.
Eventually, a large crack began to spread through the object like a virus, with a single condensed spear, Azazel ignored his wounds and shot this attack at the very weakness of the pawn piece. As the spear clashed against it, it gave one last tremble before shattering.
As it shattered the blue waves of energy that controlled the formation dispeled, emotions of satisfaction surged before it was quickly replaced with shock. Although destroyed, the particles of the remnant piece were instantly absorbed by Tsuki who was directly below it. It wasn't that they were unwilling to try and attack but it was that they couldn't due to the mysterious pawn piece.
But now?
Even though it was destroyed, even though the Formations have returned to its original state, blue energy surged from the Formations and Pawn Piece. Flickering rapidly like a ticking time bomb, Tsuki's large black wings finally solidified completely.
Azazel's eyes widened as fear pulsated through his heart, the pawn piece didn't just control the Formations left by God, it directly absorbed their energy. Whoever placed the object clearly knew it would be destroyed and as such left this method, such foresight.
Before Azazel could directly take action against Tsuki, the Devil in question slowly opened his eyes as he began to recite; his words mixed with a thundering echo, overlapping with another voice of warmth.
And yet, no matter how much the attacking group tried, they couldn't understand the words that spilled out of his mouth. Unfortunately enough, they had a worse matter to deal with.
As his eyes fully gained focus, they flickered with confusion and uncertainty for a brief second, as if he was also confused by his own recital. Yet, in an instant all emotion vanished from his eyes as his head turned to Azazel and the rest.
Boom!
Seemingly out of nowhere, unrelenting force crashed against Azazel's body at this moment without notice, before Armaros and Neru could even react or flinch, two Satan Class beings have already engaged in fierce combat.
Waves of magic boomed through the Mountain Range of Cocytus, whether the Underworld knew of it before or not, they must've been notified by now. Two figures flew at one another, attacks crossing and dispelling another in rapid succession.
Neru and Armaros could only watch by the side as Azazel sneered, despite his injuries and even if he went at his full power without holding back, he was only able to subtly suppress Tsuki because he was merely bullying him for not having enough experience in Satan Class battles.
Frowning, Tsuki of course noticed this, it was his greatest disadvantage at the moment but in terms of strength he was actually still weaker than Azazel.

Raising a single eyebrow, Tsuki's figure shot through the air once more as he analyzed Azazel's stats. While the difference between the two may seem large, one had to consider another vital variable.
While Azazel's strength was falling, Tsuki's strength and stats were still growing! Skills were leveling up and his body was filled with intense vigor and battle intent, it was a stark contrast to Azazel's condition.
Even though Azazel was firmly suppressing Tsuki, his advantage in wielding Light Magic clearly present, he could feel his control over the battle and situation slowly haywire and escape his grasp; over time, he was forced to use more and more of his true strength that was slowly narrowing to revealing his trump cards.
His expression couldn't help but contort as wounds slowly accumulated over his already injured body, the wounds that were already closed were also starting to reopen.
Waving his hand casually, the pressure upon Cocytus reached a climax as fractures and large cracks started to appear on the ground, it was unstable and Azazel's action only pushed it even further. As large spears of light formed from the sky, pebbles and small stones began to levitate as the two Satan Class beings stared at one another.
In a matter of seconds, tens of thousands of light spears filled the sky with their dazzling light that shone upon their surroundings, yet Tsuki had no mood to enjoy the scenery as they all shot down upon him.
As they clashed against Tsuki's body, a ferocious explosion ensued, laying waste to a vast area and pushing against the clouds of the sky. Hundreds of feet away the shockwaves could still be felt by Neru and Armaros along with the now dead creatures of Cocytus.
Tsuki was at the nucleus of the explosion, and the violent waves of energy rocked the entirety of the Underworld, causing great havoc. Several aftershocks slammed into Neru and Armaros, causing them to spit out a mouthful of blood.
Yet, even as smoke covered his figure, even as the debris were blown away by the soft wind, his lone figure stood; blood dripped from the corner of his mouth as he continued to look at Azazel in a mocking gaze.
"Pretty impressive, you actually managed to completely break Anti-Shield"
Tsuki easily revealed with a smile, there really was no reason for him to hold back anymore and his Anti-Magic attainment had already been exposed, as such, he could now fully display the power of his new class!

Upon hearing Tsuki's sentence, Azazel revealed a small smile.
"Anti-Shield? What kind of naming sense is that? Why not something cool like Magic Expulsion? Or you know, something more creative?"
Saying no more words, the two once again resumed their fight.
Dodging spears of light and seas of blood with a push of his palm, Tsuki easily began to corner Azazel as time passed. With a hand raised, all magic ceased, with a leg raised, thunder boomed as Azazel was tossed around which further aggravated his wounds.
As Azazel flew around in the air, his figure vanished in bursts of speed as he dodged all preemptive attacks from Tsuki; be it wisps of pink smoke or rays of silver light, they were all evaded with Azazel's immense combat experience.
Unfortunately, while he could avoid harm, he couldn't avoid having his actions restricted heavily. And the longer the battle dragged on the worse his situation would get, if he didn't deal with Tsuki soon then he would have no hope at all to deal with him in the future.
Flowing onto the sky, blood red pillars rose from down below, it seemed as if all of Cocytus was overwhelmed by a tsunami of blood, it was a grand sight. Tsuki only snorted with amusement as he waved his hand, his mana took a heavy hit but silver aura erupted from his body again.
This time, while he had used Anti-Shield, it wasn't meant for him but to obstruct the sea of crimson liquid below. Azazel took this chance to recuperate and catch a breather as the two were met on a standstill once again.
He glanced down below, passed through the silver barriers and through the large quantities of Blood Magic that was being restricted by it; through his own methods he could see that it wouldn't be long until Cocytus completely collapsed.
The arrangement left by God had most likely been a sort of life lifeline for Cocytus, a source of 'energy' to power the 'battery' that was Cocytus. And through the fierce and intense waves of attacks from the two, Azazel wasn't at all surprised.
Before he could continue his thoughts, his ponder was rudely interrupted as a large sword of silver cleaved through the air and aimed for his head; only by being grazed did he fully evade the attack. He could only watch in shock as this weapon fully sliced through a few small mountains before dissipation.
"You have more than a few Anti-Magic skills don't you? I wonder, have you always had them up your sleeve?"
At Azazel's casual tone, Tsuki smiled, and Azazel couldn't help but shiver intensely at his normal expression. Despite his casual and calm demeanor, his thoughts were anything but. The reveal of Tsuki's magic caused great shock to him.
When did he gain such power with Anti-Magic? Was he secretly hiding his prowess all along to lower his guard? He didn't know and unfortunately for him he couldn't decipher when it had happened.
Azazel gave a sigh, his energy reserves were low, his wounds were slowly destroying his body, any more injuries or rounds with Tsuki and he would not only lose his limbs but also his life; that, he was sure of.
Giving a hearty laugh, he didn't bother to conceal his current state. In fact, he felt as if Tsuki already knew and was merely toying around with him. The moment he failed to kill off Tsuki before his advancement to Satan Class was the moment it spelled his doom, he knew this too clearly.
"I won't hide it from you, five more all out attacks from you and I'm a goner"
Tsuki gave a nod of acknowledgement, he knew this far too clearly. Seeing this, Azazel continued to speak.
"I just want to request that before Heaven falls, I want you to leave Grigori for last. At least give them a bit more time to enjoy their lives, you can even make them your slaves if you so desire"
At this moment, Azazel truly seemed his age as he gave a tired sigh, it was filled with emotion and spoke of untold tales, this was a man who lived since the beginning of history! Even Tsuki's heart was moved by Azazel's selfless action.
Fortunately for him, Tsuki had no motivation to kill him. Instead of replying, he lifted a single finger, in a single burst of pure unfiltered energy, tens of thousands of his mana was depleted as his sole finger was engulfed in a faint hue of blood red aura.
Azazel closed his eyes before opening them, intense blood red aura filled the surroundings, at any moment these two mighty figures would clash and cause the very world to tremble!
But out of their expectations, Tsuki didn't do that.
Instead, facing Neru and Armaros, Tsuki sliced through the air with this single finger. Despite their immense distance the two figures felt an immediate danger to their lives and wanted to dodge, unfortunately this was something that would even be able to kill Azazel, and as such it easily took their lives.
Blood spilled from their throats as their heads were cleanly cleaved off by the small gesture. Under Azazel's confused and shocked gaze, Tsuki easily collected their bodies and tosses them to his inventory.
Their souls would be preserved under the effects of the inventory, the System informed him of so.
While Neru didn't possess much value and was only killed due to convenience and to quench the hatred in Tsuki's heart, Armaros possessed extreme value. Of course Azazel's soul possessed far more value, since he was a faction leader, but only Armaros contained research regarding skills for Anti-Magic.
Of course, the main reason was that he had his own plans for Azazel and wouldn't allow him to die until Tsuki wanted to.
Seeing the intense confusion and questioning gaze of Azazel, Tsuki easily answered.
"Luckily for you, my condition has yet to stabilize. If you and I were to truly fight with our lives on the line, in the end only Heaven would benefit from it"
This was a lie, in fact he was allied with Heaven and his form had already stabilized, he only needed to patiently absorb the residue from the pawn piece and he would be at his peak and easily handle Azazel.
Of course he didn't tell Azazel this.
Nodding with some hesitation, the tactician chose to easily accept this, if so then why would Tsuki spare him? At Tsuki's glances down below, he obtained his answer.
Forming down below were cracks and fissures of varying sizes, the mountains of Cocytus trembled unceasingly as avalanches were the common sight, even earthquakes that shook the entirety of the Underworld were starting to become more frequent; although vague, it had still spread onto the territory of the Devils and Fallen Angels.
Looking at Tsuki with meaning, the two seemed to have reached an agreement as their forms bursted with light. Even if they were strong, they wouldn't be able to affect or endure the aftermath of the Mountain range.
With the arrangements of God and the Satans gone, with Samael's seals broken that held all of Cocytus, at this moment in history that would be remembered by all, the creation of God, Cocytus, has finally fallen!
000
Underworld
Without anyone to oversee the situation or hold it back, the news of the destruction of Cocytus smacked the entirety of the Supernatural World facefront, it was far too sudden, especially right after the Battle of England.
Despite this, more shocking news came right after one another.
Samael has escaped!
Tsuki has entered the leagues of Satan Class beings!
Neru and a Cadre of Grigori along with many youths were all killed by Tsuki alone!
He faced off against Azazel and won, causing the destruction of Cocytus!
These events were like a massive boulder dropping onto a lake, there were no ripples but massive waves. The entirety of the three factions were shaken to their core, the news of Tsuki advancing to Satan Class was simply unbelievable.
But it was the truth, there was too much evidence pointing to so.
Not only had he ascended to such a level, he was even able to fight on Azazel on equal ground in win. This matter quickly became the common topic of gossip among many females and males, especially the circle of higher-ups like the Lucifer Six and Descendants.
As for the matter of Neru, who cares? Although he was Tsuki's elder brother, even Doku placed him in low regard. As for the news of his own younger son, the matter was far more complicated than words could express.
In peaceful times, Tsuki's new status would be greatly welcomed by all, he would be revered and praised by all. But now? Not only did the Descendants use it to incite war with Tsuki's strength as their reason, but they were using it to suppress the Rebels in hope of uniting before their planned second Great War.
And as such, Doku had to take action and do something that shook everyone once more.
Similar to Lucifer's son, Tsuki also seemingly disappeared from the Underworld and was considered to be recuperating; their dreams of conflict were crushed by this.
This matter caused uproars from the Underworld, the masses became unrest but Doku simply had no choice.
With Tsuki, there was a large motive and desire to erupt another Great War. But despite Doku's actions, he was still informed that Tsuki wasn't disowned -it was one such rumor of what had happened to him- nor was he abandoned, he would merely be taken a temporary leave.
This was a nice way of saying exiled.
The fact was that he couldn't come back for the meantime, not until things settled down at the very least; it was with this tactic that the matter that caused waves of desire and excitement of war to quickly be suppressed.
They could only use the reason of Tsuki having to stabilize his position in the Satan Class to do this, in this manner while there were still people jumping to start another War, both the fact that Tsuki needed time and to their knowledge God was still alive -something the government shamelessly used- to control the situation.
Only the higher-ups knew that Tsuki had informed them to do this.
He had actually been informed of the matter completely. Tsuki had actually used a special skill of their Satanachia family to quickly rise to the Satan Class level, he stated that while he was of the lowest rank among Satan Class beings he needed to stabilize his condition. Either way, they respected his words and used his advice, even if he was the weakest among the Faction Leaders, he was still a Satan Class devil!
As for the matter concerning the special skill, it naturally didn't even exist, but Doku was wise and quickly nodded his head and acknowledged its existence; he casually named it Polluted Nine Dreams but it was a name all engrained deep in their hearts. Doku found it quite hilarious.
Concerning Samael, Tsuki had informed them that he used this skill to grasp Samael's skills and a small fraction of his power, it was all he could do at the time and as such was the cause of his unstable form.
Of course Doku knew right from the start Tsuki was lying through his teeth, but he didn't dare reveal it, there was little to no benefit from him doing so. Although he had many questions, he could only suppress them until his son came back.
As for the others, they could only accept Tsuki's answer and ponder about another matter, where exactly was Tsuki? This wasn't something only they thought about, currently everyone in the Underworld wanted to know the answer to this question.

Heaven
Sitting cross legged at the peak of a mountain, a single long black haired male sat, the howling and soft wind flowing around his body as he remained unmoved with closed eyes; it was as if he was a stone statue, unbothered by the flow of time.
Eventually, he opened his eyes as he bore witness to the Garden of Eden, as a small smile bore fruit upon his face a curious voice spoke behind him, he didn't even need to turn his head to know who it was.
"Are you enjoying your stay here, Tsuki?"
Indeed, the sitting male was none other than the current hot topic of the Underworld, Tsuki Satanachia.
Undoubtedly, if anyone were to see this scene they would be shocked, the male who spoke to Tsuki was the leader of the Angel Faction, Michael. After Tsuki escaped the destruction of Cocytus, he escaped to Heaven to consume his gains.
It was here where Michael displayed his shrewdness, even though he had too many questions, he didn't speak and merely allowed Tsuki to patiently sit in the Garden of Eden -upon his request- until he was finished stabilizing himself.
Hearing Michael's words, Tsuki knew what Michael wanted; what exactly happened in Cocytus? So without beating around the push, he answered the question everybody was dying to know.
"If you want to know about what happened in Cocytus, you should've just been straightward, Michael."
Tsuki chuckled as his eyes glanced at Michael's own, so with a sigh he continued.
"It was supposed to be a mere quest of dispelling the hellfire, unfortunately what I didn't know is that my brother had conspired with the Fallen Angels. So upon finishing the mission I was immediately assaulted by Azazel, at the time I assumed he wanted to capture me since he didn't immediately kill me, so I was able to escape"
Michael nodded, from the clues he had gained from his fellow brethren and his own oversight, he had assumed as much. Azazel personally acting is something even Michael didn't expect, during this point of time which leader dared to go out for even a minute? Apparently Azazel did.
But this wasn't what he wanted to know and Tsuki naturally knew this.
"Later on Neru used the Bloody Devil Suppression Formation on me, tricking me, it was only because I revealed my Anti-Magic trump card that I was able to escape."
This reveal caused a single eyebrow of Michael to be raised, Tsuki possessed Anti-Magic? That was quite surprising. Tsuki had decided to reveal it to Michael as an act of kindness, and also due to the fact it would be revealed by Azazel anyways, as such there wasn't any reason to not expose his secret to Michael to deepen their cooperation.
Of course Michael didn't particularly place importance on this, every form of magic had a weakness, Anti-Magic was no different it merely depended on the opponent if they had the means to abuse the weakness. Azazel didn't but Heaven did.
"After I escaped, I headed straight to Cocytus, it was mostly because of my injuries that I headed there…"
As Tsuki continued to retell his adventurer and experience in Cocytus, Michael's expression couldn't help but morph into shock. Of course he hid the existence of Samael's master hidden away, but to Michael the fact that he absorbed Samael using a combination of Soul and Dream magic was amazing and horrifying.
As for the fact Tsuki possessed Soul Magic, this was something he had known since the Battle of England, so he wasn't surprised in the slightest; as long as Tsuki used it for Heaven and not against the innocent -which didn't include the Fallen Angels or Devils- then Michael could turn a blind eye towards it.
Obviously, Michael and Tsuki had a lengthy discussion involving Samael after this, and it was only an hour later that he was assured that Samael wouldn't be popping up in the future. The only thing concealed from the world involved the Manipulator -the title that Tsuki gave Samael's master- and the two bug-like creatures that he was given.
In fact, the sole reason why he was in Heaven was due to heavy regard for the silver ladybug. To access the knowledge that was stored in it, he merely allowed his mana to envelop it and over time memories that weren't his along with pieces of knowledge were slowly transferred over.
During Cocytus, he had unknowingly sent his mana into the creature and gained information regarding Heaven; more specifically he gained a complete list of what their treasury contained, and it was something that moved him greatly.
Of course, he gained other pieces of knowledge along with a few hints; it seemed as if the Manipulator didn't want Tsuki to fully rely on him, but to figure things out for himself which was something Tsuki could agree on.
He had hoped that his stay in Heaven would give him some time to decipher these clues, but he had not.
He could only place focus on the information he had gained from the silver ladybug, it was something he now regarded with extreme importance. Not only did it contain vast amounts of techniques -something he'll be spending his time on- it also contained ways for Runes, Enchantments, Alchemy, Formations, and even Elemental Forging.
As someone who had viewed the Library of Heaven, Tsuki could confidently say that while the ladybug couldn't compare, it was definitely close to. The info that concerned Elemental Forging was something that especially drew his curiosity.
Although all of that was good and all, there was a single piece of knowledge that couldn't help but cause his heart to furiously tremble; The Black Gate of Sin was going open soon, soon a huge undercurrent would sweep the entirety of the underworld!
The name 'Black Gate of Sin' was something he had gained from the Manipulator and it seemed to be the real name of the black gate. In fact, Tsuki now held this ladybug in his head as he read through the message that was transmitted into his mind.
"In precisely five years from when you get this information, the Black Gate of Sin will open in the battlefield of the Great War. The reason for this being that I've been waiting for you to specifically appear, but my influence over this world is too small and I can only suspend the time until activation when you're relatively prepared. As for why I left behind these 'ruins' for you, only one way to find out right? As such, since I left it solely for you, you can expect some good things that I left behind for you; which also means if anyone enters they'll be able to seize these resources. I do hope that you use these five years, and one final thing, be wary of the other King!'
Tsuki bitterly laughed at this, it was an extremely cruel joke in a way; in five years the The Serpent Gate will be opened? What did that entail? If Tsuki wanted to absorb the resources inside and things left behind by the Manipulator, then the entirety of the Supernatural World would become his enemy!
He wanted to seize all the resources inside for his own use? There wasn't a single being among the Underworld that would allow him to do this, and the Manipulator knew this all too well. In a way, he was forcing Tsuki to go and quite truthfully he had no option. If they managed to gain something to kill Tsuki or have his secrets exposed then it would all be over, he naturally couldn't permit such a thing.
Due to all of these reasons, in these few years Tsuki would be forced to push his strength beyond what he had earned even after absorbing Samael. So whether the Satanachia heir liked it or not, in five years he would be forced to participate in a grand event that would forever be recorded down in history.

Azazel
Although the waves that rippled in the Devil Faction were large due to the fact that not only was Cocytus destroyed but they gained a Satan Class devil, it really couldn't compare to the immense turmoil and conflict that had risen in Grigori.
The warmongering crows had finally attacked and attempted to usurp Azazel's position with a variety of reasons. Not only had Azazel lost quite a few pillars of support, his prestige and reputation were severely harmed by the events in Cocytus.
Having Samael escape was harming enough, but Azazel not only failed to capture and kill an Ultimate Class Devil but even allowed him to ascend to Satan Class? He could still hear the shouts of fury and anger from the elders.
Fortunately, he was still the sole Satan Class being among all of Grigori, even the combination of all the Cadre couldn't compare to the all out might of Azazel.
The only good fortune that had he obtained from the calamity was that he could indirectly use Tsuki's presence as a way to deter the rats hidden in Grigori from obtaining the next Great War, one could say every Faction had members wanting another war -the Angel Faction being the only exception-.
It was only for those two reasons that Azazel could lay down in his bed, he had no mood to enjoy the warmth and pleasure that a woman provided and as such laid there alone. Staring deep into the abyss, he could only give a bitter sigh as he contemplated what had happened in Cocytus.
'Tsuki Satanachia…'
In place of the anger that burned in his heart for the man the name belonged to, there was also an indescribable feeling in the pits of his heart, it was something he didn't dare utter or expression; it was the same feeling he gained when staring at Lucifer himself long ago, and it was the same feeling he gained in the presence of his father.
Fear.
He, The Tactician of Grigori, the King of the Fallen Angels, the former Watcher, was afraid of the Devil that had completely toyed with him; it was something he only admitted and accepted at the depth and safety of his mind.
Tsuki's growth was something that could only be called monstrous, how long has it been since the start of his Adventurer group? Half a year? A few months? While Sirzechs, Ajuka, and Serafall were all classified as monsters as well for their insane talent, Tsuki might as well have been considered the Lord of all Monsters.
His intelligence, his patience, his ability to scheme, his strength, his vast arsenal, they were all too frightening for a single individual to be able to match up to. The thing he now feared the most wasn't fighting Tsuki in a battle to the death, but to give Tsuki time to grow!
How long would it be until he could face off against Azazel with ease? How about all of Heaven? Heck, why not the entirety of the Underworld and Earth? Why stop there, why not go further? At his thoughts, a question of horror soon formed in his mind.
Would he eventually reach the level of a Dragon God?
Azazel only sighed dejected as he closed his eyes, feeling the comfort of his pillow and blankets he assured himself, Tsuki would still need time before then, the difference between a Dragon God and a Satan Class; so then why would he need to worry about such a thing now?
With these comforting beliefs, Azazel's head sank into his pillow as he delved into sweet unconsciousness.
But there was something wrong.
Just as he closed his eyes, he found himself immediately opening his eyelids once more, except with a subtle difference. Sitting on a leather chair, he instantly took notice of the table that stood between him and another chair that a male occupied; it didn't take any time for Azazel to identify the male.
In the history of the Supernatural, how many beings could manipulate and travel through dreams as they pleased? As such, faced against Tsuki's feminine and elegant appearance, his heart didn't waver, only his gaze concentrated on the male in silence.
"If you stare at me for so long, I might just think you sway the other way, Azazel"
The Satan Class devil humorously said with a chuckle, his sentence only caused Azazel to wave his hand as he also denied casually.
"What, after becoming a Satan Class you suddenly gained humor?"
At Azazel's mocking yet relaxed tone, the devil smiled as he countered "Because I'm a Satan Class, I can now afford to be casual, if it were before then wouldn't it just seem disrespectful?"
In this world, power ruled, while there may be laws and such it couldn't restrict someone with true power. Take Azazel for example, he had clearly placed the whole race at risk by being absent and had even lost his sole Anti-Magic user due to Tsuki and many more; yet despite this, the elders and other Cadre could only lower their heads and allow Azazel to lead them.
Why? Wasn't it all because of power?
Azazel laughed, while power did indeed allow him to keep his position, his influence and control over Grigori had loosened somewhat due to the male before him; in a way this laugh was of bitterness and an appreciation of Tsuki's truthful words.
"That is indeed so, so now that you have enough power you actually have the balls to charge into my dream? Although you're probably only rivaled by Gods that concerned dreams and Doku, don't think I don't have a few ways up my sleeve"
At Azazel's words, instead of becoming hostile or apprehensive, Tsuki merely gave a nod "Of course I know that, you probably had these on effect on Armaros just so I don't find out about you. But that doesn't matter now, nor do I really care, I'm just here for a business proposal that's all"
At Tsuki's words, the Angel Faction leader raised an eyebrow. Some might think the possibility of the two holding a transaction was near zero, but in fact Azazel wasn't bothered by it. As long as the benefits were high, why couldn't the two toss the enmity between them? In the face of high reward, a mere 'squabble' like the events in Cocytus could be overlooked.
Knowing he had obtained Azazel's interest, the devilishly beautiful male smiled; his eyes gleamed with a certain light as he proceeded to speak "Due to reasons, I won't be able to gain all that much support from the Devil Faction anymore and as such need your 'backing' in a way"
Azazel couldn't help but sigh, it was as he had predicted.
Although the Descendants and Six Houses of Lucifer had used the term that Tsuki was merely 'healing his wounds' and 'stabilizing' himself, it was a clear message by them that they didn't want Tsuki back!
They were merely saying it in polite terms.
The matter of Samael, Anti-Magic, and Cocytus was too much and could only abandon him while withholding any demands to know; Tsuki in fact already knew this would happen which is why he showed that he wanted to return and 'revealed' the secret of his rise to Satan Class.
Revealing that he absorbed Samael was one thing, showing off his Soul Magic was another, it was his trump card. Of course due to the contract he had to expose it to Heaven, but to Tsuki that was fine since Michael was also restricted by it and couldn't inform anybody.
As such, they didn't believe that the information was false since even Doku confirmed it was true. While it made Tsuki feel conflicted, he could only brush off Doku's acceptance of his lies for the moment.
They had also used Tsuki's presence as a way to suppress not only their own commoners but the other two factions -the latter was something that the Descendants couldn't avoid- and to dispel any thoughts from the Rebels. This was an exchange between the two, you can use me to keep matters calm but you must not pursue me!
In simplistic terms, the two had completely cut off ties with one another. While Tsuki won't cause any trouble and was left free, the Devil Faction couldn't go on and hunt him down -which they had the capability to do so with Doku-.
Looking at Azazel, Tsuki could clearly see intense interest, he knew that the Devil wasn't one to utter such things for no reason or as a joke. So if he wanted something, then he must be quite confident in the success of their transaction.
"As for what I can offer in exchange, that can be discussed, can't it?" Giving a mysterious smile, Azael couldn't help but reciprocate with a large grin of his own; whether it was an instinct or just a moment, he felt a wave would envelop this Underworld! This Era!
A grand change was about to occur!

AN
I finished~
I might have a little 'announcement' for the next chapter, but that'll be after my two week break... maybe one week, idk. I'm tired, I have anime to watch and class assignments to do (ignore), so yeah.
As for me killing Neru, I'll admit it without shame, I killed him as a way to kill my embarrassment. I had originally wanted to use him during chapter 1 and till now but of course, alas, my plans didn't go the way I wanted them to go.
Over time Neru was discarded and I was left with my own dissatisfaction so if I was going to kill Armaros for his Anti-magic research, then I might as well kill Neru off as well. A truly regretful path I had forced Neru on, how sad.
Anyways, have a great day everyone.
