During his exploration of the history of the magical Far East, Harry Potter finds cryptic references to an island Kingdom called Yamatai, supposedly ruled by the powerful Sun Queen Himiko until its sudden disappearance millennia ago. He never was able to pass up a good mystery.

Giselle de Mornay is a seer and cousin to both Lara Croft and the late Lily Potter when she saw what had happened to her cousin and her family that led Lily's child to be left on the doorstep of Petunia who she and Lara would sometimes call the evil stepmother. She also saw Lily's poor child what would be future and so took action. She took the child from the doorstep and to Lara.

When the Japanese Ministry of Magic learns of Harry Potter's specialty, they call him in to take care of a problem that's been in their backyard for almost five thousand years.
