The storm churned…jacket and pulled him back.
Beckendorf and Hephaestus exhaled in relief. Leo grinned at Jason.
"Thanks, man!" Leo yelled…encouraging them to keep moving.
"Yeah, I don't think losing it would help." Piper said. Silena and Aphrodite gave her proud smiles.
Jason, Leo, and Coach Hedge…"I'm done helping."
Everybody swore. Aphrodite's swears were the worst though. Ares looked proud of her.
He flicked his wrist…sliding to the skywalk deck.
"Ouch." Aphrodite said. Ares looked at her in concern.
"Yikes. That's bad." Piper said
"Piper!" Jason tried to charge…leaves still attached.
"That's just brilliant." Jason groaned.
Dylan gave him that psycho…losing your nose, grandpa.
Grover and Clarisse clenched their teeth.
The coach made an angry…hung there by his fingertips.
Beckendorf gripped Leo's shoulder. Leo grimaced because it was a strong grip but didn't say anything.
"Help!" he yelled up at them…They were horns.
"I feel you man." Percy said. Jason nodded.
You're a faun," Jason said…But we'll talk about that later."
"At least you didn't call him half donkey." Grover joked.
"Hey! I didn't know." Percy pouted.
"He seems to have lost all his memories too." Grover grinned at his friend. Percy pouted and crossed his arms over his chest. Poseidon chuckled at his son's antics.
"You're never going to let it go?" Percy said.
"Never." Grover grinned. Percy tried to keep a straight face but failed and was soon laughing with Grover and Annabeth.
Hedge leaped over the railing…hard he fell to his knees.
"Benefits of being a son of Jupiter. Fight against whatever those things are." Jason said. Zeus smirked.
"Yeah but you're the only one who can defeat them and they seem pretty hard to beat." Thalia said
"Yeah." Jason agreed
Piper wasn't as dazed…away, watching in terror.
"Honestly, sometimes the mist should work better." Percy said
"Sometimes. I mean even the little things through the mist could traumatize the people a lot. Personal experience before I knew about demigods. The only difference was that I could see through the mist." Rachel said
Dylan's body dissolved into smoke…they would look exactly like this.
The demigods shuddered.
"You're a ventus," Jason said… "A storm spirit."
The romans groaned.
"That's not good." Reyna said
"Greek translation please." Castor said
"Anemoi thuellai" Annabeth said
"Anime what?" Percy said
"Not anime. Anemoi thuellai." Annabeth said
"Okay whatever really." Percy said. Annabeth chuckled.
Dylan's laugh sounded like a tornado…remembered having her as a girlfriend
Jason and Piper cleared their throats awkwardly.
He clenched his fists…His toes were black with soot.
Thalia and Zeus clenched their teeth.
"Won't work." Jason said
The storm spirits were laughing…"My turn," Jason said
"You tell them!" The demigods cheered.
He reached in his pocket…hilt, handle, and blade.
Jason grinned.
Dylan snarled and backed up…"Well? Kill him!"
"To scared to do so yourself?" Dakota scoffed.
The other storm spirits…Who are you, half-blood?"
"I am not doing the whole introduction." Jason said. The demigods laughed and cheered at that.
Piper was so stunned…Leo like a sack of flour.
"Ouch." Leo said.
Clarisse chuckled at Coach Hedge.
"Spirits, fear me!"… Stop asking for challenges!
"Agreed. I think that was enough of a challenge." Beckendorf said
"He never gets tired of challenges." Clarisse smiled
"Your protector right?" Piper asked. Clarisse nodded.
Dylan hissed at them…This war you cannot win."
"Who is the mistress?" Hermes asked in worry
"Doesn't sound like anybody good." Chris shook his head
Above them, the storm exploded…Jason's sword skidded across the glass.
Zeus grimaced in pain.
Leo hit the back of his head…dazed and groaning
Hephaestus rested his head against the back of the beds on the sand.
Piper got the worst of it…hand over the abyss.
"Piper!" Aphrodite and Silena said in panic
"I'm fine right now." Piper said.
Jason started toward her…upward like a vacuum cleaner
"Leo!" Beckendorf and Hephaestus shouted
"I'm also okay right now." Leo assured them
"Right now yes but you're almost being kidnapped!" Beckendorf said
"Help!" Piper yelled… "Save her!"
"I hope you remember that you can fly." Aphrodite said
"Trust me, I hope so too." Jason said in worry, looking at Piper and then averted his gaze.
The coach launched himself…called him a cupcake.
"Calling a storm spirit a cupcake. Nicee." Percy chuckled.
They rose into the air… jumped over the side.
"Yes you are a lunatic but not for jumping over the side. Though you're thinking you're a lunatic because you don't remember. But you are a lunatic." Nico said
"Oh shut up." Jason said. Nico grinned.
Jason wasn't scared of heights…probably not so good.
"Kinda depends on how you die." Nico said
"I don't think I want to know." Jason swallowed. Nico nodded.
Zeus was worried for Jason though he figured that Jason would manage to fly.
He wished somehow they could…hundred feet above the river.
Everybody cheered. Even Zeus was smiling and even Hera was feeling a little proud of her champion.
"Thank you." Aphrodite said. Silena nodded. Jason smiled at them.
He hugged Piper tight…through her clothes
Jason gave a small smile.
Her breath smelled like cinnamon…Leo up there, barely conscious
Beckendorf and Hephaestus tensed. Leo was slightly worried as well.
"We have to help them"… "Twice," Jason said
Clarisse flinched.
"I hope he's okay." She said
"He will. He's tough." Grover said. Leo and the seven nodded. They might not remember their journey but they remembered Hedge.
Leo groaned even louder…I'm hallucinating?"
"Magic mushrooms." Percy nodded. Everybody chuckled.
"Unfortunately not." Annabeth sighed.
"Well that was certainly an interesting way to find out that something is going on." Leo said.
"You don't say." Beckendorf said
Jason had forgotten about… I can't believe it was hitting on me
"Well you weren't hitting on him." Silena said.
"Thank the gods." Piper said
"No." Aphrodite said to Hermes and Apollo who were about to say 'you're welcome'
Leo lay on his back…guys feeling godly?"
"Okay, can we please consider the fact that Leo and Percy's reactions were kind of similar?" Nico said. Percy and Leo grinned at each other.
"Well Nico, nothing can beat yours though." Percy grinned. Nico stuck his tongue out at him.
There was a brittle sound…"That sounds painful."
"Yeah, bad name." Annabeth said. Chiron chuckled.
"And where are they…dude was reining in the horses.
"Annabeth." Percy said "And Butch?" he said
"Most probably." Chiron said
"Where is he?" the girl demanded…Sure. Why not?
"Not really that funny." Clarisse said.
"It is a bit." Chris smiled. Clarisse sighed.
Leo cleared his throat…those intense gray eyes.
"Definitely Annabeth." Percy grinned
"Who is she looking for?" Will asked
About halfway through the story…which seemed a little unusual
"Yeah that's Butch." Katie said
"Godly parent?" Dakota asked
"Son of Iris." Annabeth said. Dakota nodded.
When Jason had finished…"What have you done with him?"
"I am having a really bad feeling about this." Triton said
"You're not the only one." Pollux said
The skywalk shuddered…"We'll settle this later."
"We didn't do anything." Jason said
"I know that. Not the other Annabeth." Annabeth said. Jason, Leo and Piper sighed.
She turned on her heel… "She looks like she wants to kill me."
"Sorry about that." Annabeth said.
"Yeah but I'm not sure that I want to be on the other side of that look." Jason said. Everybody laughed or chuckled.
Butch hesitated… "A guy named Percy Jackson."
"WHAT?!" The sea gang screamed. Percy had paled.
"Percy is missing?!" Thalia asked in utter confusion.
"Seems like that." Percy said.
"Oh gods." Triton groaned.
"We should read to find out." Percy said
"I'll read." Beckendorf said. Thalia gave him the book.
