When everybody woke up the next day and went to the open buffet hall, there was note on the door.

"Um okay? So I'll read that." Hermes said. He read that and as the note progressed, his face turned pale, happy and just a mix of emotions. In the middle, he glanced nervously at Zeus but continued reading the note.

"Uh guys." He said, looking at the demigods.

"Maybe we should all sit." Hermes said. The demigods looked nervous so they stood.

"So. What did the note say?" Apollo asked

"I'll get straight to the thing. The fates want the demigods to be gods." Hermes said. The demigods choked on air and a few on water. The gods' eyes widened. Some of the demigods fell onto their chairs in shock.

"What?" Percy said, as if he hadn't heard Hermes correctly the first time.

"They want you to be gods. They say that you are needed for the change in the world. They understand that Percy and the others would want to go through college so they've said that though they will make you gods after the reading, you can go to college for the day and the hours will be reduced and then you will come back at Olympus. Your domains will be assigned after the reading along with your godhood. The fates say that the demigods should be given their own council because they are way better and cooperating together. They understand that the demigods cannot be made Olympian council members but they are to have a similar council. The amount of power will be assigned by the fates. The demigods will make decisions and inform the council. The rest of the details will be given after the ascent to godhood. Chiron's going to be an advisor to them as well." Hermes said

Some of the gods just looked utterly shocked but some of them were nodding along with what Hermes said. The demigods looked paralyzed with shock. None of them said a word which did worry the gods a little.

"But-" Zeus sputtered.

"The fates command it." Poseidon said sharply.

"But they cannot be made gods!" Zeus said, standing up. Poseidon stood up too.

"The fates command it. You have no say there." He said

"The amount of power for the demigods has to be assigned by us!" Zeus shouted.

"The fates have decided brother. There is nothing you can do about that." Poseidon said, with his eyes showing hurricanes.

"He's right." Hades said.

"But they are demigods!" Hera spat.

"So was I." Dionysus said

"They are certainly loyal enough to be gods." Apollo said

"We cannot make every loyal person a god!" Athena said

"The fates have commanded it!" Ares said angrily, his eyes glowing with fire. Soon an argument between the gods began. Hestia tried calming them down but it wasn't working.

"Stop!" The demigods shouted, their voice overpowering the gods.

"Get grandmother." Nico said. Jason nodded and raced to their quarters.

"You already know that the fates have started all of this. Trust us, none of us were expecting this. In fact Percy had declined immortality before. The fates seemed to have figured out a solution. None of you have a say to change it.' Beckendorf said

"He's right." Hephaestus said.

"Exactly." Rhea's voice came as she and Jason walked in.

"Mother." Zeus said

"Jason's explained everything to me. The demigods are worthy and powerful enough to be turned into gods but to keep that on the side, they are certainly deserving. I may not have read all the books but I could just see that in the two books." Rhea said.

Some of the demigods stood up and the others sat in front of them. They still had shocked and surprised expressions on their faces. Even Chiron looked surprised. The gods who agreed with the fates couldn't blame them. None of them saw this coming and honestly, the demigods' whole world had turned upside down just with a note.

"My mother needs to know." Percy murmured.

"The fates said that they'll tell her." Apollo said, picking up the note and sighing.

"Just one more thing." Hermes said

"Yeah?" Chris said

"They said that the demigods had discussed something and they should just tell it right now." Hermes said. The gods looked at the demigods. A few had raised eyebrows and few looked expectant. The demigods looked at each other and nodded.

"Thrones for Uncle Hades and Aunt Hestia." Percy said quietly but still loud enough to hear and powerful enough to sink in. Rhea smiled.

"WHAT?!" Zeus shouted.

"Zeus." Rhea said

"But-" He started

"He is your brother and she's your sister." Rhea said sharply.

"About time somebody told him that." Nico muttered. A few snorts and snickers.

"So that's settled?" Percy asked. The demigods looked at the gods. Most of them nodded and some nodded begrudgingly. Hades and Hestia looked shocked and surprised.

"Demigods, you know that I do not want a throne." Hestia said. The demigods cracked smiles.

"Aunt Hestia, if you do not want a throne, you still deserves a right to vote. You keep the Olympians tied together. Now if a fair chance is given the people will write stories and poems about the deeds of Hestia." Nico said

"Heck, we'd right some ourselves." Will added. Hestia smiled at them, her eyes sparkling. Rhea was smiling widely as well.

"Thank you so much." She said. Hades nodded as well.

"Really." He said.

"Should've been done long ago." Percy said

"They're very correct about this." Chiron smiled

"And the fates are right about one more thing. There are going to be a lot of changes. Most for the best." He said, looking at the demigods who smiled at him.

"You're going to be our advisor as well." Annabeth smiled. Chiron nodded as he smiled.

Some of the gods were still looking angry about this while the others were smiling happily or just had wide grins until they stopped just grinning and went and hugged their children. The demigods were taken by surprise but chuckled and hugged their respective parents back. Artemis had hugged Thalia and Apollo hugged Jason as Thalia and Jason didn't look too keen on hugging Zeus and Annabeth was given a hug by Artemis as well as even Annabeth wasn't keen on hugging Athena. The demigods smiled at each other, realizing just what their parents used to worry about. The fact that most of the gods were worried about them dying made them smile though it was their death but the care made them smile but did feel a little worried that their parents had worried about that but they decided not to overthink it.

Even Dionysus gave a small smile to the demigods.

"Well I guess, I'm going to have to put up with you batch for eternity." He sighed, pretending to be miserable about it. The demigods laughed.

"Ahh, Mr. D, we know you're happy about it." Travis grinned.

"So I can beat you to pulp and you'll keep coming back for more." Ares said to Percy, hiding a grin.

"You could try." Percy grinned.

Though the demigods were grinning and laughing, the shock didn't wear off. It would take time for them to process all of this but they found that they weren't too upset about this. They wouldn't have to see their closest friends die but the only drawback was that they would have to see some of the campers die but they decided not to think about that.

"Let's not read this today. It's a big news for them and for us." Poseidon said, his sea green eyes sparkling as he grinned. Triton and Amphitrite smiled at Percy as well.

"So a party?" Apollo suggested

"Yep." Hermes nodded. The demigods nodded as well.

"So can we eat now? I'm starving." Percy said

"You're always starving." Thalia snorted

"As if you're not." Percy pouted.

The demigods and most of the gods laughed. They all sat down and ate as the place buzzed with chatter. At some point, the demigods sat with other gods than their parents and talked with them. Chiron smiled as he watched this.

This was going to be a beginning of a new age and era. One of which he was really glad to be a part of and see how it all changed for the better.
