LEO DIDN'T STICK AROUND…would probably get him killed.

"You're brave. Honestly, you're brave enough to stand up in the middle of the campfire and volunteer for a quest that would probably get you killed. That is honestly brave." Connor said. Leo smiled at him.

"Thanks man." He said

He hadn't mentioned seeing…queen of the gods

Leo choked on his own saliva.

"What?!" He said

Hera nodded.

"Well isn't that ironic. Kind of." He said "Oh gods." Leo said

"That is certainly interesting. You better not have tried to hurt him mother." Hephaestus said to Hera.

"I didn't." Hera said. Leo snorted.

"Sure you didn't. The fire incident?" Leo said

"I knew about your powers." Hera said

"The fact that I'm finding funny right now is that Hera and me go way back and it's crazy and weird." Leo said and groaned at the end. Hera rolled her eyes at her.

"So your grandmother was pretending to be your aunt. Brilliant." Percy said.

"Oh shut up man." Leo groaned. Percy snickered.

Zeus was looking at his wife, wondering why she was there for Leo years before the prophecy was told.

Stuff like that could really deep…he must've been about two

"WHAT?!" Hephaestus shouted. Hera grimaced.

"I knew about his fire abilities." She said

"Doesn't matter. He was two." Hephaestus said

Tia Callida was looking after…my brave little hero, eh?"

Leo rolled his eyes.

Leo was sleepy…where he could see the stars

"That is a freaking fireplace." Jason swallowed. Hephaestus and Beckendorf glared at Hera.

"What if you were wrong about his powers?" Hephaestus growled

"I knew I wasn't." Hera said

He remembered resting comfortably…But the old lady had disappeared.

"Smooth." Beckendorf gritted his teeth

Leo remembered looking over…cared one way or the other.

"He was three!" Katie exclaimed

"What the-?" Beckendorf said. Hera shook her head.

"He had to learn early." Hera said

"Is that why you're good with knives?" Michael asked

"I was three. I had practically no sense about them." Leo said, shaking his head.

"Yes." Hera said "Some power. I knew that he would be good with knives. You can see that his weapon isn't a sword." She said. Leo groaned.

"I was three." He said

When Leo was four…encouraged him to poke the animal

Grover gritted his teeth and Hephaestus was not looking happy. Leo was shaking his head. The other demigods were just surprised or shocked. The other gods had similar reactions to the demigods.

"Where is your bravery…disappeared into the tall grass.

"He got lucky." Pollux said. Leo nodded.

"I would've cured him." Hera said nonchalantly.

"Mother." Hephaestus said with an edge to his voice.

"I wouldn't have let him die." Hera said

The last time she babysat…an awesome masthead.

"That sounds lit." Beckendorf grinned. Hephaestus nodded. Leo smiled.

"Always been into creating huh?" Castor smiled. Leo nodded.

When he was almost done…It flew into the sky and disappeared.

"That's depressing." Percy said. Leo sighed.

"Yeah." He said

Leo wanted to cry…inch deep into solid wood.

"Holy Ha-" Nico started. Hades raised an eyebrow and Nico grinned at him.

"Holy… Oh gods." Nico said. Hades chuckled.

"I know right." Leo said.

Hephaestus glared at Hera.

Now Leo was sure…had been Hera all along.

"I am not psychotic." Hera said, looking offended. Leo rolled his eyes.

"I have the right to think that seeing what all you did with me." He said. Hera scowled.

That made her, what…messed up than he realized.

"Uh huh." The demigods nodded and laughed.

He wondered if his mother…fix anything, build anything.

Hephaestus smiled softly. Leo smiled sadly.

No one would hire her…Simple things like that.

Everybody smiled at that.

I don't care what Callida…You're still my baby."

"Always." Leo smiled. Beckendorf gave him a side hug. The Stolls gave him one as well.

She took his hands…He'll explain everything."

Leo sighed.

"I figured it out." He said

"Sorry I couldn't help son. But I could help train the two of you now." Hephaestus said

"That'd be lit and don't worry, we've been enjoying a lot these days." Leo said.

"Very much so actually.' Beckendorf said. Everybody nodded at that. A few demigods like Thalia, Jason and Annabeth just sighed but the others nodded and their parents grinned at them. Zeus and Athena sighed.

Leo had heard that since…head the way his mom did.

Beckendorf high fived Leo.

"That's pretty impressive." Annabeth admitted. Leo grinned at her.

One night, they stayed late…You'll meet him soon, I'm sure."

"I am proud of both of you." Hephaestus smiled at Leo and Beckendorf. Everybody smiled at that.

Mom's workspace was at the very…I'll only be a minute."

Leo buried his head in his hands. The Stolls slung their arms around his shoulders. The hairs on every demigods' necks and arms stood up and they all looked at each other. They wanted to sit next to Leo but didn't want it to be too much.

She gave him one more smile…she would be even more terrible.

"Is that-?" Ares asked

"Gaia." Apollo said. Zeus shook his head.

"Maybe at that time but not as a war against them." He said

"She is herself saying that it will happen. My mother died. She won't come to me unless there was going to be something serious." Leo said angrily.

"He's right. Deny it how much you want but you know it will happen." Poseidon said. Zeus glared at him but Poseidon glared right back.

"Okay, I'm going to continue. Best get this over with." Travis said

"I cannot destroy you yet,"… "The Fates will not allow it.

"Even the primordials function according to the fates in such things?" Percy asked

"Everybody does." Amphitrite said

But they not do protect your mother…How will you stop me?" she whispered

"I'll figure something out." Leo said

"We all will." Beckendorf said. Leo and Hephaestus smiled at him.

She walked straight through a table…And Leo lost consciousness

Leo rubbed the tears from his eyes. Hephaestus and Beckendorf pulled him into a hug. The others closed their eyes in respect.

When he woke…Her death was his fault.

"No." everybody said sternly

"It was not your fault. It was Gaia's. She made you use her powers. She kind of forced you to. It was not your fault." Nico said quietly. Frank nodded.

Leo gave him and the others grateful looks.

"He's right. It wasn't your fault." Hephaestus said

Soon the police came to get…social workers to take him away.

Everybody looked disgusted.

"What the heck? Such people… How can they be this cruel?" Chris shook his head

"It's their nature. It's their nature to be jerks." Clarisse said.

So Leo went to his first…ashes of that machine shop.

"You have a family now." Connor said. Leo smiled at all of them as they all grinned at him and nodded.

He'd promised himself he would…It's time to stop running.

Hera nodded.

"Hera," Leo muttered…hard journey will finally make sense.

Hera nodded again.

"I had been watching you. You are crucial to the quest." She said to Leo who sighed but nodded.

Leo might find out what that flying…He needed a dragon.

"No way." Beckendorf grinned

"Yes way." Leo grinned back.

"I think if anybody can pull it off then it's you." Beckendorf said. Leo grinned at him.

He hesitated at the edge…convinced of his own bad luck.

"Then, it's for all of us." Leo said. Hephaestus and Beckendorf smiled proudly at him.

They cannot stop me from breaking…face-plant you hard, Leo-style."

The demigods cheered.

"Yeah, you tell her!" Castor and Pollux cheered. Leo grinned.

The gods chuckled but were nervous about what they we rehearing about the giants but maybe the demigods turning into gods would change things or maybe the fates would change things too.

He took a deep breath and plunged into the forest.

"Done." Travis said

"I'll read." Hades said
