IT SEEMED HE SLEPT…the daylight was fading.
"It's always like that. It seems like you slept for seconds and then the alarm goes off." Percy said
"I swear, it is soo annoying. It feels like you slept for seconds." Katie groaned.
Demeter chuckled and decided not to say anything about quickly is good. Hades raised an eyebrow at her and she rolled her eyes. Persephone chuckled lightly at the silent conversation.
"The sleep here has been so peaceful without the demigod dreams being so violent. Like they're still there but they're vaguer unless of course they aren't monster related. Normal nightmares regarding current events and random stuff are still there but the monster stuff isn't. I can live with that." Percy said
"Yeah. It's better." Thalia said
"Though trauma related ones are still there." Nico shrugged "Just that we don't have much trauma left. It's better." He said.
The gods smiled that their kids were at least getting peaceful nights these days.
"We're here,"…not Santa's workshop," Leo said.
Everybody laughed.
"It's Quebec." Aphrodite said
"Yeah, Quebec City,"… sixteen hundred or so?"
Aphrodite looked proud. Annabeth grinned at Piper and Athena nodded approvingly.
"All right!" Apollo cheered.
Piper grinned.
Leo raised an eyebrow…mean I have to be an airhead."
Everybody chuckled.
"We can be intelligent." Silena said to Leo
"Yeah, I know." Leo placated her.
"Feisty!" Leo said…Leo saw she was right.
Piper smirked.
The grand entrance was bustling…with nasty-looking swords.
"Does not sound pleasant." Pollux said.
"It's quite good that you haven't been attacked by monsters." Triton said
"Maybe some of it has to do with Jason there?" Thalia said
"The venti attacked them." Grover pointed out
"Maybe because their master is more powerful than Jason?" Castor said
"If its Gaia then, yes. It most probably is her." Will said
Festus didn't like the angel…he had a bad case of acne
"Calais and Zethes." Zeus said
"Sons of Boreas." Ares said
The angels pulled up in front…off his gap-toothed grin.
Hephaestus, Aphrodite, Zeus and Hera were not looking pleased about that line.
The dragon began to hiss…obviously pleased with himself.
Everybody raised their eyebrows.
"Leo's doing great. He's stalling and flattery is always pleasing for them." Hermes said and gave a smile to Leo.
Jason and Piper grinned at him.
"Stupid buffoon," his brother…a truly horrifying offer."
"Another ladies man?" Percy raised his eyebrows
"Apparently." Thalia rolled her eyes.
Aphrodite and Silena were pale too and Piper had a similar reaction to the book Piper.
"Boreads?" Jason cut in…traffic helicopter flying too low
"At least they can't see the entire dragon but you might want to move a little bit if you can." Ares said
"We can't. The two Boreads are there." Leo shook his head.
"Then you should hurry up the conversation. The mist can only block out so much." Ares said
"We're trying." Leo said
"Which is sadly why…than Leo thought necessary.
"No enthusiasm should be there in the word 'destroy!'" Frank said. Everybody snickered.
"According to me, its about who you're destroying." Ares said
"Well can you imagine one of us saying 'destroy!' and go running or something at a monster?" Frank asked. Ares snickered.
"Nope." He said
"Wait!" Piper said…Leo almost felt sorry for him.
Everybody snickered.
Zethes studied Piper, which of course he'd already been doing.
The demigods rolled their eyes.
"Though in this case, you could use Zethes liking your looks to an advantage." Lee said
"That's one use of the blessing of Aphrodite that I haven't heard of. Use it to have the boreads to your advantage." Silena said, raising an eyebrow
"Use it when you can. Now I'm sure my smile could come in use some time." Lee grinned. Apollo laughed and high fived Lee. The demigods snickered or shook their heads fondly.
"How does the pretty girl…looking absolutely convinced.
"Charmspeak." Silena nodded
Jason and Leo looked a little uncomfortable at being charm spoken as well.
"Is there a way to only charmspeak the people that you need to charmspeak?" Piper asked
"Well one way would be to take their names and along with that some training should help with that." Aphrodite said "I can teach the two of you, if you want?" she said.
Silena and Piper grinned and nodded eagerly. Aphrodite smiled.
"Okay then." She said
Zethes picked at his silk shirt…it was still open wide enough.
Some of the people snickered or laughed and some just rolled their eyes again. Piper gagged.
"Definitely a ladies man." Percy shook his head.
"Well ... I hate to disappoint…Mercedes in the parking lot below.
A few chuckles.
"That is one genius dragon. Knows the weaknesses and using at the advantage." Leo grinned proudly.
Beckendorf nodded and chuckled.
"No destroy?" Cal whimpered.
"Well doesn't he seem disappointed?" Castor said dryly
Everybody snickered.
Zethes pondered the problem…I mean, you're right.
Aphrodite and Piper rolled their eyes and Piper groaned.
A malfunctioning dragon — this could be an emergency."
"So Piper appealing to Zethes actually worked?" Silena asked
"Apparently." Piper said dryly.
"Destroy them later?"…close to friendly as he ever got.
"To visitors, yes." Hermes said
"It will take some explaining,"…Follow us."
"Faulty dragon people. What a name." Jason muttered.
The Boreads sheathed their swords… beauty a little frightening.
"The ice does make it a little cold." Apollo agreed
When Leo slid off the dragon…The heat ruins my hair."
"He's more worried about his hair getting spoilt than the ice of the palace melting?" Annabeth asked with a raised eyebrow.
"He's probably worried about that too but he really loves his hair so he's worried about that too." Apollo said
Festus growled and spun…with the destroy talk. Just wait."
Everybody snickered.
"Watch and learn…not want to know what they do.
"Nope." Beckendorf agreed.
But others . . . Ah, here…"Something that big couldn't — ''
"Oh yes it can, my brother." Leo smirked. Beckendorf grinned. Hephaestus smiled.
"That's brilliant!" Annabeth said "We could use it for a lot of things. Like the same kind of building. It could make things a lot smaller and could free up more space!" She said
"That's true. Maybe we could use it for some things in the bunker and maybe even expand the bunker later on if everything goes well." Beckendorf said. Annabeth nodded.
"It's a good idea." Chiron nodded "We will be making visits to camp. I'll be staying there though I'll be your advisor and as you will be visiting frequently, you all can take a look." He said. All the campers nodded.
"Stop!" Zethes ordered…And I still smell fire ... on you."
"Ohh no." Apollo said
"They won't like having a fire user." Hermes grimaced.
Leo grimaced.
"That sucks. Kind of." He said
If it hadn't been like three degrees… I cannot romance her at this time."
"I don't ever want to romance you!" Piper gagged.
"Yeah. This is uncomfortable." Silena said "But you're the only one who can actually talk and convince the Boreads of something." She said
"Brilliant." Piper sighed.
He poked his sword point…going into full gladiator mode.
"Yeah. I turn calm just before going into gladiator mode." Jason nodded and grinned.
"Calm before the storm huh?" Percy grinned at him.
"Kind of. It's like the thunder or the rain before the lightning kind of thing." Jason said
"Ahhh." Percy grinned "That sounded cool though." He said
"Hey, we all got to have the signature lines." Jason grinned.
Nico snorted.
"What's mine? The ghost of a person before it haunts somebody?" he asked. Hades raised an eyebrow. Some people snorted.
"I have one for you." Percy said
"What?" Nico asked
"Someday, mortals die and if you piss me off, I will hunt you like a hound and bring it earlier." Percy said. A few people actually shuddered at that.
"See! It's effective." Percy said
"That was honestly scary." Hazel said.
"I swear man." Triton said to Percy who shrugged.
"That's it. That's my signature line." Nico smirked. The gods looked curiously at Percy. Some of them and some demigods cheered.
"Nico's line is final too now!" Leo grinned
"I don't think I want one." Hazel said.
"I already have a few." Thalia said "Well I think." She said
"That was a good one though if you want to threaten somebody." Ares nodded approvingly.
"Can we continue, now that we have admired the scary line that Percy came up with?" Aphrodite asked, with a small grin. Everybody chuckled or grinned sheepishly and nodded.
"Leo's just a son of Hephaestus…our Jason died millennia ago."
"Exactly. He died a long long time ago." Nico snorted
"Jason was named after the name of my favorite mortal." Hera said
"Well I like my name." Jason said
"Wait," Jason said…two brain cells a serious workout.
Everybody sighed.
"He loves destroying things, doesn't he?" Frank sighed. Ares nodded.
"No," Zethes said regretfully…That depends on my father's will."
"Khione." Aphrodite said, not sounding pleased at all
"Not a fan of her, I'm guessing?" Clarisse asked. Aphrodite shook her head.
Leo looked up the staircase…most dazzling girl he'd ever seen.
"Don't fall for her." Aphrodite shook her head at Leo.
"I won't. I have a girlfriend." Leo said
"That's not love either. Kind of like a crush, you could say?" Frank said
"Not exactly. Kind of. Just that Khione's pretty." Hermes said. Leo sighed.
Hephaestus was feeling uncomfortable because of the anxiety he was feeling because of the curse. Luckily the romantic feelings weren't felt by the gods. That would be very awkward.
Then she looked at Jason…e-mail address and phone number.
A few face palms.
Before he could take a step… it would not be wise."
Leo sighed.
"We're going together,"… "Just a little?"
"Not even in decimal numbers." Beckendorf gritted his teeth.
"No," the girl insisted…They were ready to fight for him
"Of course." Jason and Piper smiled at Leo. Leo gave them a grateful look.
They wouldn't leave him alone… "Leo Valdez will be perfectly safe.
The Hephaestus gang, Travis, Connor and Chris sighed in relief.
I wish I could say the same…King Boreas is waiting."
Zeus looked visibly worried about Jason. Even Hera was a little worried about Jason but she had faith that he would survive. Even Aphrodite was concerned about Piper.
"Done with the chapter." She said
"I'll read." Reyna said
