"Dad, give me some of the blue cookies!" Percy asked.
"Nope." Poseidon said, holding the box of cookies. Percy groaned. He dragged himself to the kitchen and got some more blue cookies.
"You had more!" Poseidon said. Percy smirked.
"These are delicious though." Poseidon said
"Yesterday was fun." Apollo said, eating the 7 layer dip.
"You really like the dip, don't you?" Hades asked amusedly
"You've never tasted this." Apollo said "Man, Percy and Leo, this is very similar to the one Aunt Sally makes." Apollo said
"Hers is still better though." Percy grinned. Apollo nodded.
"Pass some of it." Hades said, trying to take some out from a spoon but Apollo clutched the dish to his chest.
"Mine." He said like a 5 year old. Everybody started laughing. Hades rolled his eyes.
"Here you go." Nico said, taking another dish.
"Thanks." Hades said and ate the dip.
"Hmm. This is actually very good." Hades groaned contently.
Percy and Leo grinned and high fived.
"Lets read." Zeus said
"I'll read." Chiron said. Dionysus gave him a grateful look. Chiron chuckled.
JASON XX
IF THE ENTRY HALL…Jason had to step carefully.
"Sounds kind of beautiful." Annabeth said
"With Khione there, it will be cold too." Aphrodite said
Zeus and Hera shuddered due to the curse.
High above, ribbons of colored…them not to kill you just yet."
"That's a good start." Hermes said
"Yet. The 'just yet.'" Jason said
"Stay positive." Apollo said
"Super," Jason said…"Please don't call me that."
"Well aren't you annoyed about that?" Dionysus drawled
"It's weird seeing as you were named after him." Lee said
"It's weird. I have a name. The junior part isn't a part of it." Jason said
"He has a point. I wouldn't be fond of being called Perseus Junior. I mean even though my parentage isn't the same." Percy said
My father is not a patient…"Thanks," Piper grumbled
Piper groaned.
"Who knows? Something might be good." Lee said
"I don't want to find out." She said
They kept walking…Jason hoped so.
"He does. Just don't make him mad. If you don't then he can be funny when he wants and he doesn't have a short temper. Not too much." Hermes said
"That's good to know. A bit relieving." Jason said
"Bienvenu," the king said…Piper blinked. "I did?"
"A child of Aphrodite can speak French naturally without learning because it's the language of love." Silena said
"That's cool." Leo grinned. Piper nodded.
The king said something else…never welcomed in their realm
"Well that's another one." Percy grumbled
"His palace is always to far north." Zeus said
"Some respect would be good. Just some." Percy said "Might just save somebody's life someday. At that time, Jason, Piper and Leo specifically." He said
His domain was always far…Did I not mention that earlier?"
"Nothing to be so cheery about." Connor said
Jason tensed… lord Aeolus has commanded it."
Zeus, Aphrodite and Hephaestus scowled.
Boreas rose…Piper McLean has honored me in mine.
Aphrodite smiled at Piper.
"Well that makes a good impression. Its an honor to him for a demigod to converse with him in a language that he speaks and is currently fond of." Apollo said
Toujours, I have had a fondness…without first hearing you out."
"Told you that he would hear you out." Hermes said
"Now that that problem is solved, the problem is the chance of survival." Jason said
"Don't be negative about it. I think he might let you go. And you're part of the seven. So it's doubtful that you will die in this book." Ares said
Jason's gold coin seemed…monster with lightning and fire.
"Angry wasps?" Athena asked. The gods looked a little pained at that.
"The giant was huge. The image probably made you look smaller." Jason said
Finally the river erupted in a massive…beneath the waves and disappeared.
The sea gang whooped.
"YEAH BABY!" Percy cheered.
"Lets not forget that you almost got vaporized." Annabeth said. Poseidon grimaced and Percy grinned sheepishly.
"Well, thank Hermes. He's finally got you a monster proof phone." Amphitrite said. The demigods grinned at Hermes who grinned right back.
"Its not just a normal monster proof smartphone though. It has both Iphone and Android combined and every update in the new models and softwares will be added. And unlimited storage." Hermes said
"I didn't know that." Katie said
"That is so freaking lit." The demigods said, some of their mouths hanging open.
"Thanks." They said. Hermes grinned at them.
"The storm giant, Typhon,"…punish demigods for that?"
"Can't take it out on gods so take it out on the mini versions." Percy shrugged.
"That makes it so much easier doesn't it?" Beckendorf said
"Mini versions?" Nico asked with a raised eyebrow
"I mean it's not wrong." Thalia said, thinking about it.
The king shrugged…helped them in the war.
"Fun." Thalia said
He issued orders to us…"That sounds ... extreme," Jason ventured.
"Just a little bit." Castor said
"Yeah little mortal faces. My face isn't small." Travis said
Hermes chuckled a little at him.
"But you're not going to crush…It may be that we will not kill you."
"That's a relief. Should help the nerves enough to speak." Jason sighed.
"I don't think he's going to kill you." Hermes said
Jason felt like he could almost…which would be very messy."
The demigods shuddered.
"There goes the easing of nerves thing." Leo said
"Have to stay calm." Jason said
Khione stepped behind Jason…will think you are spoiled!
"What a thing to be spoiled about. Frozen people." Thalia snorted.
Besides, you moved too fast…slowly corroding from freezer burn
Everybody shuddered at that.
"You needed to start somewhere. Every bit on a quest is mostly a death trap." Annabeth said
"That's fair but doesn't make you feel better." Jason said
Khione purred and stroked his neck
Zeus and Hera scratched their necks, uncomfortably.
"I don't know what she's trying to do to him. Seduce him?" Percy asked
"Maybe. To do what she asks him to do." Aphrodite said, rolling her eyes at the thought of Khione.
Jason didn't plan it…skidding across the floor.
Everybody burst out laughing.
"Good one!" Thalia snickered.
"She was trying to I don't know, seduce me? That was creepy as heck." Jason said
"Yeah, it was deserved." Aphrodite snickered
"You really don't like her, do you?" Jason asked her.
"Nope." She said
"But on a serious note, Khione doesn't forget things like that." Ares said
"Just something I don't care about. You come and we fight." Jason sighed.
Zethes laughed. "That is good!...you're going to let us go."
"You tell them!" The demigods whooped. Jason grinned.
"The praetor strength in the voice helps." Reyna said
He sounded a lot more confident…but it got their attention.
"It's easier to sound what you feel a little less. Like confidence." Percy said
"That's how you want to feel and that's what helps. You have to show a relatively calm and strong front." Nico said.
Khione's blizzard swirled…anger or amusement.
"Amusement, most probably." Hermes said
"A son of Zeus, favored…Tell us your story."
"That's nice. He's giving a chance to talk." Michael nodded.
"Yeah, a son of Zeus, favored by Hera is definitely a first. What happened to the others again? Yeah, so poisoned, manipulated, family killed, family driven to insanity, mother made to stay in labor for more than necessary and not allowed to give birth on any land with roots, mother not allowed to give birth, etc." Thalia said. Dionysus, Apollo and Artemis grimaced. A few people looked angry. Zeus looked a little pale. Hera was pale but was scowling.
"To be honest Jason got lucky. Like very very lucky." Pollux said. Jason nodded vigorously.
"Yeah otherwise he might have had to run as well." Annabeth said
"I wouldn't have run if Jason would've been there." Thalia said
"But your mom was abusive and used to drink a lot. It would've made sense to run?" Percy said
"You stayed." Thalia reminded him.
"I did because I love my mother and she was abused too." Percy said. There were a few growls at this. "And because Gabe was the one who was abusive. Your mother was the only adult that you had and even she was abusive, mentally, emotionally and physically and probably waiting on Zeus to return and used to drink. Even if Jason wouldn't have been there, I think it might have been better to run even then." Percy said. There were some more growls at the behavior Thalia had to endure.
"You're right. I probably would've run. Just a bit later though." Thalia said
Chiron looked angry on the behalf of his students and Sally Jackson and decided to continue.
Jason would've botched…faster than Jason could have.
Jason smiled at Piper. Aphrodite and Silena looked proud.
"All we ask for is guidance,"…everything in red and blue.
"The aurora borealis sounds beautiful." Annabeth said
I know of these storm…aside the question. "For now.
Clarisse looked up. There were a few cheers.
"That's something." Leo said
But the one who controls these…staying here as frozen statues."
"It's not about what monsters or people we're supposed to face. We have one goal and we have to reach there. It's basically a very risky obstacle course." Jason said
"That's a great way to describe a quest. An obstacle course." Percy grinned at Jason who chuckled.
"Our first one was a risky treasure hunt though." Grover said. Annabeth and Percy laughed.
"Went looking for one prize but found two. That's the game it was for you guys." Nico snickered. The trio nodded.
"Hera's in trouble,"…And a giant is going to rise."
Hera paled.
"Yes," Boreas agreed…shoot Khione an angry look?
The gods and demigods raised their eyebrows. What was that about?
"Many horrible things are…monsters that began with Kronos
"Not the great stir pot again." Percy groaned
"Great stirring." Thalia said. Percy shrugged.
"Same thing. Monster soup." He said
"Dude what-?" Nico asked "You know what? I don't want to know." He said
Percy grinned at him. The sea gang, the Hermes gang and Leo snickered.
Your father Zeus foolishly believed
Zeus scowled a little.
It would end when the Titans…longer confined to Hades
"Shit." Nico swore. Hades was looking worried and the demigods were very pale.
"Monsters won't stay in Tartarus? How can we defeat them then?" Annabeth asked
"Their essence would probably go to Tartarus for a few seconds but they would reform." Athena said
"Killing monsters just got way more complicated." Percy said
Olympus has good reason to fear…warmth in that cold throne room
Piper grinned and Jason was shifting awkwardly. Oh man, the book Jason's feelings were developing and it was getting really awkward to have them getting read out.
If you tell us where the storm…Freeze her now!"
"Was I charm speaking?" Piper asked
"Its hard to say. Boreas' reaction isn't mentioned and Zethes is always like that." Aphrodite said
Boreas considered this…crashed next to his throne.
"A Roman travelling with a Greek would certainly amuse him." Artemis said
The god's form began to flicker…Jason's — hung at his side.
"Aquilon." Reyna, Dakota and Jason said at the same time.
"Aquilon," Jason said…gamble she has taken."
"What have you done?" Zeus asked Hera.
"It has to be done!" Hera said
"Olympus is closed. And it appears that you have done something extremely dangerous!" Zeus said
"It has to be done. You should've seen it." Hera said. Zeus glared at her. Aphrodite sighed and exchanged a look with Percy and Nico who sighed as well.
Percy gestured for Chiron to continue reading which he was most happy to.
"Jason," Piper said nervously, "why did Boreas change shape?
"He didn't changed shape. He changed form." Athena said
"Yeah, same thing." Piper sighed.
The toga, the wreath…feeling that Boreas was right.
Everybody shuddered violently at that.
That sense of wrongness…she took your memory." Boreas chuckled
"Yeah, he cannot interfere. It would cause quite some damage." Hera said
"It sounds like lot of damage." Apollo said.
Apparently still having a great…you were born a full goddess —"
"Exactly. I agree with Zethes. Demigods aren't idiots, you know." Castor said. The demigods nodded.
"We know." Hermes assured him.
"Both of you, freeze,"…siblings went absolutely still
"Dammnn." The demigods said
"Now, as I was saying…rolling around in the snow!"
"To be honest, Boreas deserves more respect." Silena said
"We could add cabins to the wind gods too. We might not know all the minor gods but we should add the cabins to gods that we're hearing about." Pollux said
"That's a good idea. Annabeth, make plans with Leo and Beckendorf." Chiron said. Annabeth, Leo and Beckendorf nodded.
"I like the winter festival," Zethes muttered.
"Of course he does." Ares snickered.
"My point," Boreas snapped…Boreas ignored his daughter.
"Khione's seeming fishy. She doesn't seem keen on helping them or staying quiet." Triton said
Everybody nodded in agreement, thinking about what Triton said.
"If you can capture the winds…very likely to destroy you.
"So we have another very dangerous person to face before facing the giants and Aeolus." Leo said
"Brilliant." Jason sighed.
If you succeed against her…"As you wish, Father."
"Yeah, that's the sign for Khione to keep quiet." Aphrodite said
"Now go, demigods,"…scales to keep himself defrosted.
"Nice." Beckendorf nodded.
As Khione led them down…not someone to get a crush on.
"Agreed." Leo nodded.
At the bottom step…See you around, ice princess."
"Even the ice princess is going to need some ice for that burn!" Apollo said. Aphrodite gave an approving nod to Jason for that.
"She does sound spoilt." Dakota said
"I kind of like Zethes and Cal." Percy snickered.
Khione's eyes flared…could do a whole lot worse
"That's true. She can do much worse than throw snowballs." Aphrodite said
"So an immortal goddess enemy." Jason sighed "Great." He said
Leo looked devastated…that was my prom date!"
Leo shook his head at himself.
"We'll explain later,"…worry about demigods again.
The demigods shuddered again and the gods looked unnerved.
Jason looked away from Piper…show how unnerved he was.
"I think everybody was unnerved. Its not wrong to show that you were too." Frank said with a small frown.
"I'm supposed to be leading the quest. I can't show such stuff." Jason said. Zeus sighed.
"That's not true. It'd be natural if you were worried too." Leo said
"Yeah," he agreed… Piper into an ice sculpture.
"That was for him but as Piper isn't getting turned into an ice sculpture then he would be worried for you all. He's a good guy. He knows demigods' struggles as he was one himself." Demeter said
Cal patted Leo on the shoulder… "Next time — hockey. Pizza."
Leo grinned.
"Come on, guys."…try not to get destroyed."
"Done." Chiron said
"Mr. D." The demigods said. Dionysus sighed and took the book from Chiron. The gods chuckled.
