"Should we continue or would you all like to take a nap and wrap up for the day?" Chiron smiled

"I'm tired actually." Percy admitted "Though, I'm fine with anything." He said. The demigods nodded in agreement.

"Yeah, we're good to read." Nico said, though he yawned two seconds later "That's nothing." He said quickly.

"We can rest, you know." Hermes said worriedly.

"Like Percy said, we're fine with anything." Chris said

"We should rest. Even I'm tired and so are you all." Apollo said. Everybody nodded.

The demigods went and crashed on their beds after they tiredly changed their clothes. Within two minutes, all of the demigods were in deep sleep in their respective quarters. The gods chuckled at their kids.

"And they said that they were good to read. They would've fallen asleep in the middle. To be honest so would I." Poseidon said to Amphitrite who chuckled.

Everybody woke up after two hours. They all had some food and water.

"So should we read?" Pollux asked. They all nodded.

"I'll read first." Reyna said and picked up the book.

JASON XXVI

JASON WAS AFRAID THEY'D LOSE…but he did what Jason asked

Everybody chuckled.

"Well you're the Hiccup and Festus is the Toothless." Travis said

"Hmm. Toothless didn't breathe fire." Leo said

"Eh. Still one cool dragon. And Hiccup was the best dragon racer." Connor said

"What about Hookfang?" Percy asked

"I'm not being Snotlout. I'm gonna stick with Hiccup." Leo said. Everybody snickered.

"What are you talking about?" Hades asked

"How to train your dragon." Nico said.

After a few minutes… any more caffeine," Leo said.

"Nor do you." Piper said teasingly to Leo who grinned at her.

"Ah but it's a necessity." He said

"Facts." The demigods nodded.

"Though, wouldn't the caffeine just go through the wind spirts… Never mind, I don't want to know." Jason said. Everybody snickered.

I guess Chicago's a good…throw something at him."

"If only we could." Piper said wistfully.

But Jason focused on the art…but I see her."

Everybody paled.

"This is just pure creepy now." Percy said

"Agreed." Chris said

Then the screens went dark…"We'll check it out on foot."

"Desperate times call for desperate measures." Katie said

"Yeah, this is desperate, all right." Jason agreed.

Festus landed in an open area…Maybe if I had a dog whistle ..."

"Arrest a dragon. That's hilarious in its own ways. I mean, imagine a demigod going into a police station or a mortal with clear eyesight and just seeing a dragon in jail." Rachel said with raised eyebrows. Everybody burst out laughing at the mental image.

"A dog whistle is a good idea." Annabeth said

He rummaged in his tool belt…that in lots of machine shops.

Hephaestus nodded.

This time, Leo pulled out…wings and launched into the air.

"He most probably understood you." Beckendorf said

"Yeah, that's good." Leo nodded.

Piper took one step…"It's fine." She shivered

Aphrodite winced in pain and shivered.

And Jason remembered his promise…long enough to find her one

Piper gave a small smile to Jason which Jason returned. Aphrodite raised an eyebrow at the two of them but said nothing.

She took a few more steps…she was trying not to grimace.

Aphrodite however, winced.

"Let's get out of the wind,"…Now, which way do we go?"

Hephaestus grimaced at the thought of Leo sleeping in drains.

Jason tilted his head…nobody offered anything better.

"You can sense the direction of the winds?" Katie asked. Thalia and Jason nodded.

"Though Jason has more to do with air. I have more to do with lightning and rain is common." Thalia said

"That's cool." Hazel grinned.

Unfortunately, as soon as they…Stupid ankle," she cursed.

Aphrodite winced in pain.

We've been going nonstop…Chef Leo is on it!"

"Oh you're going to have a good meal if Leo's cooking." Percy grinned. Leo grinned at him.

Piper and Jason sat on a brick…psycho villainess in his life.

"Not supposed to be funny but the 'psycho villainess' makes it a little hilarious." Travis said, giving a snicker.

"Yeah but what else could I call them?" Jason snorted.

A few good natured laughs.

"It wasn't your fault,"…leave the goddess in her cage.

The demigods covered their mouths so that even a single snicker wouldn't escape them. Hera's eyes were a little wide and Zeus shook his head but he did glare at Hera for taking such information away from Jason.

"Hey." Piper nudged his arm…mean you're a one-man army."

"Exactly!" The demigods chorused.

"You are not alone bud. That's why it's always a group. Everybody helps. Your parentage, yeah well, even if you're the son of Jupiter it doesn't mean that you have to be the only one to have the action or bear the responsibility of keeping everybody safe." Percy said

"I'm also supposed to be the quest leader. And come on Percy, people look up to me and they ask me what to do because of my parentage. I have to lead. And sometimes…sometimes that means that I can't exactly do what I said we can't even when I want to." Jason said and sighed at the end.

"Not true." Piper said. Everybody looked at her.

"You're not a one man army. You don't have to bear the entire responsibility even if you are a quest leader or because you're a son of Jupiter. Even if you don't have your memories in the book, you're still the most experienced among the three of us in terms of quests. But we are still there with you, to help. That's why there are three people on the quest because sometimes even the leader needs help. Don't worry about it. We're there." She said. Aphrodite gave a small smile.

"And where the matter of setting an example, that be damned. Instead of setting a wrong example, its better to break your own rules, make new better ones and set an example according to that. That's better because it shows that you can realize your own mistakes and are now changing it." Nico said.

The demigods nodded in agreement. The gods exchanged impressed glances. Their children were quite deep and made pretty good points. Hestia noticed Zeus looking in deep thought and smiled. Hades, Poseidon and Demeter noticed it too and raised their eyebrows at each other. Hera sighed. Hestia decided to have a talk with her sometime soon.

A few feet away…decide what color they were.

Piper unknowingly turned a little red but raised an eyebrow. Her mother gave a quiet chuckle.

"Wait really?" She asked

"It's an Aphrodite thing. During the blessing it happens to everybody and sometimes it's even permanent." Silena explained. Aphrodite nodded.

"Oh okay." Piper said

"I know this must suck for you,"…Piper had seemed — powerful.

Jason was red by now and Piper had a bit of red on her face too and both of them averted their gazes. Aphrodite smiled which Silena noticed with wide eyes. Percy, Thalia, Nico noticed too and raised an eyebrow.

"Mom can we talk after the chapter. I think me, Percy, Thalia and Nico have noticed you smiling at Piper and Jason so…" Silena said. Aphrodite nodded.

He liked regular Piper better…Let us help."

Jason and Leo nodded.

That seemed to make her… Just dig in!"

"Wow." The demigods said

"Impressive, Leo." Hermes grinned. Leo grinned and winked back.

Jason wasn't sure about…grateful Leo was with them.

Leo sighed. He didn't just want to be a comic relief. But then he scolded himself for thinking that way. For whatever reason it may be, he was helping his friends or was trying to help them by trying to lighten the mood.

"Thanks man." Leo smiled at Jason who returned the smile.

After Piper ate…obviously trying not to laugh.

Everybody chuckled good naturedly. Piper and Jason turned a little red. Aphrodite smiled and shook her head fondly. Thalia raised an eyebrow at her younger brother and he glared at her. Thalia grinned sheepishly.

They sat in silence…freak than we are.

Leo gave Jason a grateful smile.

"Book me's right. You're not a freak. The fire stuff is cool." Jason smiled. Leo grinned at him. Hephaestus and Beckendorf gave grateful looks to Jason who waved it away with a smile.

And, hey, maybe you…'Flame on!"'

Everybody laughed and Leo snorted. Jason grinned sheepishly.

"Lets not give him ideas and it won't work." Hephaestus said

"Pity." Leo sighed. A few people chuckled.

Leo snorted…little stronger than 'Flame on!'

Everybody burst out laughing.

"I'm sure you would. There is absolutely no doubt about the words that you would be yelling." Percy said. Leo grinned at him.

Trust me, Hephaestus cabin…that's when they're needed most."

"Jason's right. I don't give that power often." Hephaestus smiled at Leo and Jason.

"Yep. It's rare and a gift. And it wasn't your fault that night." Beckendorf said. Leo sighed and gave grateful looks to his dad, brother and Jason.

Leo cleared away the plates…"You're important."

"Thank you." Hephaestus and Beckendorf said to Jason who smiled.

"It's not a lie. It's the truth." He said. Leo smiled at him.

"Thanks man. It makes me feel better." Leo said to him. Jason gave a smile.

"And you guys too." Leo grinned at the Stolls and Chris who grinned back.

"That's what she said."…got eaten by the Cyclops.

The demigods sighed and the gods grimaced.

If you asked most kids…warned you of your own death.

"That's the bad part all right but the good part is that you get friends that never leave your side." Pollux said. The demigods smiled.

Leo poked at the remnants…he was afraid he would fail.

"You won't be expected to lead. There are going to be 7 demigods. It's going to be a group." Frank said "If there is." He added after an afterthought.

"Yep." Percy said

"Yeah." Annabeth agreed. Hazel, Piper and Leo nodded. Jason gave them a small smile and sighed.

You'll tear each other…sewer is nicer than ours."

Everybody snickered.

The draft picked up…disappointed when she woke up.

There were a few chuckles.

Finally they broke camp…Or sells poisons," Leo said

"That would be a store run by monsters or evil people." Triton said

"Didn't Hera warn Jason about Chicago or somebody there?" Castor asked. Everybody nodded worriedly.

Jason took a deep breath…coats that seemed to be moving.

"Damnn." Rachel said

"Who knew that drain stores could look like that?" Percy said

"Who knew drain sewers even existed?" Annabeth said

"Fair." Percy said

Leo stepped to the railing…holding a tree-branch club.

"Coach Hedge!" Clarisse said. Chris smiled at Clarisse.

"See. He's alive." He said. Clarisse smiled.

"Coach Hedge!" Piper said…fingers looked more like talons.

A few shudders.

She smiled. "I'm so happy…Jason wanted to hear more.

"Oh no. Ohh no." Nico said

"Some charm, I think. Or charmspeak or something like that." Silena said

Jason sighed.

"So you're new to America?"…what are you looking for?"

Everybody paled or froze.

"Medea." Poseidon breathed.

"The one who married the old Jason and killed her children and his bride?" Piper asked. Poseidon nodded. The color drained from Piper's face.

"This is just brilliant." Jason and Leo said. Reyna continued

Jason had heard of rich…Colchis couldn't be all bad.

"It is bad." Hera said

Piper poked him in the ribs…but it seemed fuzzy.

A few swears. Hera and Zeus felt a little fuzzy as well.

"Definitely some kind of charm." Silena said

On the other hand…didn't seem like an enemy

"I thought Medusa was a harmless old lady who I felt bad for and wanted to spend time with her. So if that can happen, I'm pretty sure that a princess could look like not an enemy." Percy said

"Fair point." Jason said "The charm must be powerful of Medea." He said

"True. The spells or charmspeak is hard to fight against. Luckily I haven't been charm spoken but doesn't sound easy to resist." Percy said. Jason nodded.

Piper started to say, "Jason, I wouldn't —"

"You practically said his name." Thalia said.

"I don't think it would be loud enough for Medea to hear." Piper shook her head. Thalia nodded.

"Listen to Piper." Aphrodite said.

"Wish we could." Leo said "Medea's charm seems to be a bit more powerful." He said

"Piper isn't using charm speak yet." Silena shook her head.

This is Piper," he said…something didn't seem right.

Everybody shuddered. Hera and Zeus still seemed a little fuzzy.

Then the moment passed…Let's go shopping."

A few shudders. Zeus and Hera' fuzziness went away. Aphrodite, Hephaestus and Zeus looked worried and Hera looked concerned but she figured that Jason would have to face some dangerous woman by what the book Hera/Juno told him.

"Done with the chapter." Reyna said

"I'll read." Dakota said
