PIPER WANTED TO RUN FOR THE ELEVATOR.

Everybody nodded.

"Might be the most intelligent choice but Jason and Leo are getting charmed so you can't leave them or drag them to the elevator." Annabeth said. Jason, Leo and Piper sighed.

Her second choice…think anything was wrong

Leo and Jason groaned.

The princess gestured toward…sounds okay. Right, Piper?"

"No it's not." The demigods said as if they could transmit the knowledge to the book.

"Yeah, kinda obvious just not then." Leo sighed, burying his head in his hands. Hephaestus, Zeus and Hera felt fuzzy again.

Piper did her best to stare…choice except to follow.

"You're going to have to charmspeak us." Jason said. Piper sighed, not looking too happy about that.

"He's right. There's no other choice." Leo said

She hated department stores…who eventually tracked her down

Piper and Aphrodite sighed.

Anyway, she wasn't thrilled…skunk spray, and gym lockers.

Everybody gagged.

"I do not want any of those for my birthday or on any occasion." Percy said

"Ah, so that's the second thing to add to the list which had only one item." Thalia said

"Yep. That makes a total of two items to not get for Percy. Noted." Nico said

"Apart from that, what wouldn't you get for Percy?" Hermes asked curiously.

"Seafood." Every single demigod chorused without even hesitating for one second. Like literally they spoke as soon as Hermes finished speaking. Percy grinned at them.

"So you've never ever eaten seafood? Like even before you found out your parentage?" Demeter asked

"Nope. Not even before I was 12. Never eaten seafood in my entire life. Always found it cruel, to be honest." Percy said. The sea gang grinned at Percy.

The princess pointed…Any disease, sweet boy.

Will's jaw hit the ground.

"That's crazy." He said. Apollo nodded.

And this vial" — she pointed…sounded dazed and sleepy.

"Not awesome." Leo shook his head and sighed. He was not liking being charmed by Medea.

"Jason," Piper said…But shopping first, okay?"

"Not okay." Jason groaned, not happy about falling under the charm either.

The princess beamed at him…blindness, insanity, sleep, or —"

Castor, Pollux and Dionysus had wide eyes. Dakota's eyebrows had shot to his hairline from behind the book.

"Wait." Piper was still…could cure Jason's memory...

"It couldn't. Stolen by a goddess and can be returned only by a goddess. He can't regain his memories with that." Pollux shook his head. Jason and Piper sighed.

"That sucks." Leo said.

"But she said that it can cure any disease?" Travis said

"Any disease, yes but there is immortal interference. One of the gods has stolen his memories and it can only be returned by them. Jason hasn't forgotten anything, his memories have been taken, stolen if you want to put it that way." Castor explained. Jason rubbed his head and ran a hand through his hair.

Do I really want that?...Craziness's department store worthwhile.

Jason gave a small smile to Piper which she returned.

"You won't lose me." He said. Everybody raised their eyebrows. Jason went red. So did Piper. "I meant that I'm here and we're… friends too." He said a little too quickly. Aphrodite gave a light chuckle and a smile.

"Do you have something to do with this?" Silena asked Aphrodite quietly. Aphrodite smiled and shook her head.

"I'll tell you later." She said. Silena nodded.

"How much?" Piper asked…the idea seemed to bother him.

Everybody nodded. The trance feeling reduced by very little for Zeus and Hera but it did.

"That's good. Some of the morally questionable things that Medea's done might help him to come out of the trance." Demeter said

"Her charmspeak is still very powerful. Jason still seems to be in a trance even when it looks like it's bothering him. It looks like only some of trance has gone. It's not reducing that well." Aphrodite said, gesturing to Zeus and Hera.

"So the only way out is if Piper can get Jason and Leo to listen to her through her charmspeak?" Silena asked. Aphrodite nodded grimly. Piper sighed and was a little pale.

"You can do it." Jason encouraged and managed a small smile. Piper managed a weak one.

"Hopefully." She said

"That's what we have when we're trying not to die. I think that qualifies as a 'trying not to die' situation." Jason said.

"True." Piper agreed with a small smile.

"Oh, don't worry,"…princess could read her thoughts.

"Which reminds me, what about the lessons with Hecate and Hypnos?" Hazel asked

"You won't need to take lessons to stop somebody from even trying to read your mind once you turn into gods." Apollo said

"Oh okay. That's good. I'll let them know." Hazel said

"I'm sure they already know but you can tell them if you want." Persephone said

She also found the princess's…one she was thinking of.

"Unfortunately it is." Aphrodite said

"At any rate,"…remember something important.

A bit more of the trance went away from Zeus and Hera.

"Yeah, you can do it Jason. Break the charm." Leo grinned "Then please help me." He said

"I don't think that I can get out of it without Piper's charmspeak either. I don't think that Medea's charm would be easy enough for me to resist on my own." Jason said

"That's messed up,"…patted his cheek affectionately.

Leo scowled and rubbed his cheek.

"I'm sure you don't need to…She wanted to say yes.

Aphrodite looked a little dazed but not much.

"Oh gods. Is that how charmspeak feels?" Piper asked

"Hers is powerful. That's why the effects are more. But you have to use charmspeak in complicated circumstances." Silena said. Piper still looked a little guilty but nodded.

Then her stomach twisted…guilt settled over her.

Aphrodite fell out of the little daze as well and felt some guilt due to Piper feeling it in the book.

She summoned all her willpower… after shopping?" Leo asked.

"You can do it, Piper." Silena encouraged.

Leo and Jason buried their heads in their hands, hating how their book selves were falling for Medea's charm and making things harder for Piper as she was the only who wasn't falling for the suggestions.

Piper wanted to scream…"Okay," Leo said.

"Come on!" Leo shouted in frustration. Jason looked frustrated as well about how easy it was for Medea to put them under her charm. Zeus, Hera and Hephaestus were looking dazed again, maybe even more than before.

"She's powerful." Hazel said gently.

"Still, its just so easy for Medea. It's frustrating that we are basically not doing anything except making things harder for Piper and falling to Medea's charm." Leo said

"It happens. She's just one of those people who are stronger than other monsters or evil people." Connor said

Leo and Jason still looked pained but sighed and nodded.

"Excellent," the princess said…Leo still looking excited to shop.

Everybody's eyes widened and they shuddered. Leo and Jason paled. Hephaestus, Zeus and Hera came out of the daze and blinked. Then the information of the chapters got sent into their brains and they sighed.

"I'll do my best to get the charmspeak through the two of you." Piper said

"Yeah." Jason and Leo said, giving her small smiles and grateful looks.

"Done with the chapter." Dakota said

"I'll read." Hestia smiled. Dakota returned it and passed her the book.
