Set in the early stages of the Companions questline. Stana had brought back the first fragments of Wuuthrad, and there was mead and feast aplenty. Later in the night, she noticed that Vilkas was missing, and found him out watching the stars. A small slice-of-life fragment.

Skyrim has never been hospitable to the Khajiit, viewing them as thieves and skooma dealers. Many resent the fact Akatosh saw fit to grace his gift upon a lowly fur licker rather than a hardy Nord warrior as it should have been. Khaziera encounters for more struggles than the World Eater and a Civil War. Sometimes she finds acceptance in the unlikeliest of places.

She just wanted to improve her fighting skills so she could get out of messy situations in her search of a place to belong. She didn't realize she was already in the biggest mess one could have and that the place she belonged was in the arms of the most infuriating man she had ever met! F!Db x Vilkas.
