When the four kingdoms were young, the first settlers in a hidden valley discovered a rare mineral ore, as red as dragon-fire. Earth benders dug the tunnels, and Fire benders melted the ore. Then Sozin's Comet changed everything. UPDATE: Something has been unleashed. The Gaang must find the culprit behind the burning homes before the Earth Settlers are banished forever.

Toph has run away and come to stay with Azula and Masanori. If they don't kill each other, they might just get along. Stand-alone; not related to other stories.

When the monks find out Aang has run away, His sister is trained and sent to find him. But, the Fire Nation attacks before that can happen. The monks put Jewel in a trance where her body isn't affected by age, and her soul is sent to the Spirit World. 97 years later Aang wakes her up to help him win the war.

Post-war. There's a celebration to be had and the GAang's all there. Whether that's a good or a bad thing remains to be seen-not everything falls into place after a war the way everyone would like. Written for the Avatar: the Last Writer Competition.
