Bending Academy is a place for rare benders and other rare teenagers to improve their skills. Katara is being compared to her mother and her great deeds in every way, but wants to make her own mark in the school. She meets the one and only Avatar, at first he may seem like a goofy kid but puberty is right around the corner; together with the help of friends they will make history.

In the future and a new avatar has yet to show itself an academy has risen up to teach all benders and non benders how to fight and control their abilities. Though through the years new bending have been discovered and are still on an uprising. (PS: Korra Never happened)

Short little one-shot: nearly dying from lightning hurts, as Aang finds out; pain in his back brings Katara over for a healing session, and he might or might not have accidentally let out something that he wouldn't have let out had he been fully conscious. Cute little story, hope you enjoy!
