A few days before setting out on the Quest for Erebor- and young Gimli has some issues with his father's refusal.

Bilbo, the stickler for politeness that he is, takes it on him to befriend the dwarves. But Dwalin proves to be a tough nut to crack- until Bilbo finds something to talk to him about. Very slightly implied Bilbo/Dwalin.

Kili and Fili finally see that there's more to their bond than they first admitted to one another. Set around the mountain giants scene, half book, half movie-verse :)

Dwalin discovers something in an unlikely place, and with an unlikely person. He's falling in love.

Fili is embarrassed and ashamed by his figure, especially when constant jibes are made about it. Kili comforts him. Written to fill a prompt in the kink :)

For as long as Fili remembered, his brother had always been with him. Any memories from before Kili's birth apparently hadn't been important enough to keep in memory. Since then the brothers had never been apart, not even for a day. Fili/Kili (and therefore sibling incest; don't like, don't read).

The Battle of Five Armies claims Thorin and Fili, leaving Kili as King Under the Mountain. (Contains major character death, mild slash, some language.)
