Ever since she saw Garrus Vakarian, Leena Burke always loved him. The mechanic from the Citadel joins Garrus and Commander Shepard to protect the galaxy. As the galaxy entered a post-reaper era; peace prevailed as societies began to help each other rebuild. It is difficult for Shepard to imagine herself as a civilian, but that is exactly what she has become. So, through all the trauma she and Garrus had endured, would they really be able to live a normal life? Afterall, they don't go looking for trouble, the trouble finds them.

Garrus' thoughts and feelings regarding Commander John Shepard were easy to understand and explain: He respected and admired the human Spectre and would follow him into hell in a heartbeat. His feelings regarding his crewmate and friend, Lieutenant Jane Shepard, however, weren't as clear cut. She'd taken up residence in his head and wouldn't leave. Slight AU, Shepard Siblings.

Wrex's contract into Fist leads him to a new opportunity with a Spectre. He never really thought about any relationships or mates due to the genophage but he's drawn to Shepard. She's a fierce warrior who doesn't take crap from anyone. Their relationship remains platonic but it's a struggle with their sexual tension that could never bloom. Her love for Liara makes things difficult

FemShep's investigation of Cerberus' nefarious activities, while she struggles with questions about her own identity. This story is not super canon compliant, but it fits with the story, especially if you aren't too personally attached to your own version of Shepard.
