The Blades along with the Emperor and two prisoners were walking down in an old crypt, this secret passageway was designed in case of an emergency that threatens the Emperor, his safety comes first and theirs second. However, the same cannot be said to the two prisoners. If not for the Emperor's weird orders, they would've already taken them down without remorse.

"How close are we to the exit?" Baurus said to his fellow comrades.

"We're nearly there, just watch out for traps or any signs of trouble. Something tells me things are going to happen at any moment." Glenroy responded back.

"That moment is now!" An assassin with a demonic mace jumps above them and smashes Captain Renault's head.

"The captain's down!" Glenroy grits his teeth before pulling his katana along with Baurus, they both have sworn duties to protect the Emperor with their lives!

Weiss stood beside the Emperor and couldn't believe the carnage she was seeing! She has never witnessed this type of event in her life in High Rock, was this the reason as to why her mother kept telling her to head back inside their palace?

Jaune however, went over to a nearby pillar and throw up. He couldn't believe he's just witness a murder in front of him! If he thought Beacon Invasion was worst, then this is just a whole nother level of an invasion!

The two remaining Blades manage to kill the assassins in red, apparently they were using some sort of spell that could make armor and weapons.

"Are you alright, sire? We're clear for now." Baurus went over to his Emperor to confirm his reports.

"Captain Renault?" The Emperor sadly said.

"She's dead, I'm sorry sire, but we have to keep moving." Baurus kept his emotions in check and continued the mission.

The Emperor looks at the two future saviors of his dreams, "I'm sorry, but it seems this is where we've parted ways for now. If you two truly are from my dreams, you'll find a way back to me." he stated before he along with his two Blades opened a wooden door and closed it behind them.

*Click!*

"Well, that's just great! We're stuck here!" Weiss couldn't believe she was duped like this! She thought the Emperor was a nice fellow, but apparently he was just like those men that tried to take advantage of her!

"Calm down, Weiss, I'm sure he didn't mean it like that." Jaune kept his composure as calmly as possible, he still doesn't know the current situation he found himself in but it doesn't seem like the time. He decides to check among the bodies for anything useful, looting wasn't his forte but he soon realized if he wants to survive he must swallow his pride and do whatever it takes.

"What are you doing, dolt?" Weiss comes over to him and asks.

"I'm searching for anything useful that could help us, so far all I've gathered are these weird colorful bottles things?" He shows Weiss the items he'd gathered among the assassin's bodies.

Weiss looked at the bottles and quickly confirmed it was healing and magicka potions, she quickly snatched it from his hands ignoring the cries from her cellmate, and put in her ragged shorts.

"I'll keep them for now, you go search whatever else is left amongst the bodies and we'll have to find another way out of here." She ushers Jaune to continue doing his thing while she walks around the crypt to find another way out.

Jaune sighs and returns, looting the corpses. Was Weiss always this coldhearted? He doesn't know too much about Weiss, besides the fact her family owns the Schnee Dust Company and Heiress. But what he could recall from her is having fun with her team, even if he and Weiss eventually made up after he helped her with Neptune and on better terms, there were still tensions between them.

Jaune eventually made his way to Captain Renault's body and searched for her, she somehow was carrying a hidden short sword, some of those red bottles, and her current weapon those two Blades members were using. He stood up with two weapons in his hands, he didn't know which to choose since he wasn't knowledgeable enough to tell the difference, the only way to tell is the size, weights, and appearance.

The katana is long, curved, and looks combat ready. He'd noticed the blade hadn't been used much and the sharpness of the katana isn't sharp as he originally thought, so he swung it to get a better feel of it. It was a bit slow and heavy as he expected, but it's the job done so he shouldn't complain too much. The short sword on the other hand is far shorter than Crocea Mors in appearance, he swings it and was surprised that the blade in his hand felt like nothing, He'd mean the weight is still there but once he started swinging it felt natural to him.

Granted Jaune isn't a powerhouse like Yang or Nora, since they prefer using brute force instead of smarts and tactics, he supposed in some situations brute force is needed if the objective is proving difficult. But once he turned his attention to Weiss, he saw her hands were glowing and was pointing at the cracked wall in front of her. He saw a small fireball come from her hands and a loud bang happened.

*BANG!*

Oum... that was loud, but it seems to have worked. Jaune turns to Weiss again and finds her shrieking away when giant rats start to come closer to her.

"KYAAAAA! Get away from me, filthy creatures!" Weiss shouted and quickly ran her way towards Jaune and stood behind him.

Jaune sighs and quickly uses the short sword to fight against the armies of rats, it wasn't hard since they quickly died within seconds.

"Seriously Weiss? I thought someone like you would've killed them easily?" Jaune said to her.

"Quiet! I hate disgusting creatures like those, I've never seen anything so hideous in my entire life!" She glared at him before stomping one of the rat's heads.

Jaune sighs again and quickly went past her into the newly passageway, he spotted a small sack next to a skeleton with bow and arrows, along with a shield next to it. He quickly heads over there with Weiss behind him since she doesn't want to be left alone. He laid down one knee and started looting.

The sack contains some gold coins, more of those red bottles, gems, and lockpicks? He decided to take the small sack and strap it on his ragged shirt, he checks the skeleton figure next to him and found it was wearing old leather armor, there was no way he's going to wear that since it has holes all over it, the bow and arrows were rusty along with the shield, but it was better than nothing he supposed.

He looked at Weiss who doesn't have anything to protect herself with.

"Which weapons do you want, Weiss?" He asked her.

"What do you mean?" She said,

"You need to protect yourself with something, I can't carry all these on my back, I also can't help you whenever more of those rats are down here. So for the time being if we're going to be working together, you need to contribute with me here." He affirmed, shaking his head.

"I don't know how to fight..." She mutters.

"What? I saw you using whatever that fire thing was?" He asked in confusion.

"It was a fireball you dolt, I've only used it to release my anger and stress. I've never used it against anyone since my mother forbade it, and I don't have anyone teaching me combat training because I have high magicka reserves. Which my father puts me in Mage classes to better understand and control my reserve." Weiss answers and thinking about her childhood, she didn't exactly have much time with her father. He was always too busy making time for her and his work with the SEC always takes his time away.

Jaune stares at Weiss in disbelief, Weiss doesn't have to fight? Was this a dream? If so this isn't funny at the slightest. The Weiss he knows can fight since he'd seen it firsthand during combat class, but hearing this from her mouth and saying she doesn't know how to fight quickly diminished everything that made her Snow Angel.

Not like he's any better, he didn't have combat training and he forged his transcript into Beacon. His training with Pyrrha made some decent improvement but it still wasn't enough to beat Cardin or his opponents. Cinder proved that even with his improvements, he's still the weakest fighter in Beacon and didn't amount to anything remotely impressive.

That's when he finally noticed the difference between his Weiss and this Weiss, he was in another world. Back before the invasion he was reading a comic about how the main protagonist was somehow in another world besides his own, the similarities between his world and this world is so different he couldn't comprehend the situation. He didn't manage to read the whole comic due to Nora bursting into their dorms and pulling him towards the cafeteria for pancakes.

So... when Cinder pierce through him with her fire bolt, he died and somehow found himself here. Does that mean whenever he dies he'll somehow find himself in another world again?

No! Don't think about that for the moment, he has this Weiss in front of him to worry about.

"We'll worry about that later, for now which ones you'll take?" Jaune points at the bow or katana. He doesn't need the katana since the short sword is working for him.

Weiss look at her only choices and didn't know which to choose, she'd never hold a weapon before and was always jealous that Winter is allow to carry weapons, the reasoned being as that her sister serves in the Imperial Legion and is station in High Rock to be closure to her family, well mostly to her and her younger brother Whitley. Her brother seems to take after their father and wants to be next in line in the SEC, but their father told him that she was going to take over instead of him.

"Fine, I'll take the bow." She grabs the bow from the ground and stares at it, it is ugly and worn, but for the time being this will be her main weapon... for now.

Jaune went behind Weiss and strapped the arrow behind her, normally, Weiss would have kicked anyone that dares to touch her, but with the situation at hand... she'll allow this.

"Now that's over with, let's find our way out of here."

-MEETING BACK WITH THE EMPEROR-

"Dammit, It's those prisoners again! Kill them, they might be working with the assassins!" Glenroy was pissed to see these two troublemakers again.

"No. They aren't with them. They can help, they must help us." The Emperor once again stops his Blades from doing anything rash.

Glenroy looks at his Emperor and only scoffs, "As you wish, sire."

The Emperor calmly walks over to them, "They cannot understand why I trust you two. They've not seen what I've seen. How can I explain? Listen. You know the Nine? How They guide our fates with an invisible hand?"

"I'm not a huge believer of religion." Weiss crossed her arms while stating, her family doesn't bother with religion since it was a waste of time.

"I've served the Nine all my days, and I chart my course by the cycles of the heavens. The skies are marked with numberless sparks, each a fire, and every one a sign. I know these stars well, and I wonder... which sign marked your birth? The signs I read show the end of my path. My death, a necessary end, will come when it will come." The Emperor sadly said.

"Wait, You can see fate?" Jaune's eyes widened and briefly remembers Pyrrha telling him about destiny, he isn't into destiny and if what the Emperor is telling him that he's going to die is true...

"My dreams grant me no opinions of success. Their compass ventures not beyond the doors of death." The Emperor affirmed, before standing in front of Jaune and Weiss and looking at their faces.

"But in your face, You are a boy with little success in life. Even if you don't have the strength or power to help those in need, you still help even if outmatched and go against fate, your soul is strong, perhaps stronger than ever. In my years as Emperor, I have never seen such a powerful essence that resides within you. Your heart burns with hope, hope to make a better future for everyone, with such hope, and with the promise of your aid. My heart will be satisfied." He said to Jaune, then turned his attention to Weiss.

"In your face, You are a girl with high expectations but show little progress. You're a Schnee born with high magic reserves but lack proper training, your family is being corrupted by your father and he is straying the Schnee Empire Company to a dark road. You, Weiss Schnee, will have to find your own path in life, I cannot say more... I'm sorry." The Emperor speaks to Weiss about her fate.

Weiss didn't know what to say, if what The Emperor told her is true... Her family being corrupted by her father is bad news. But he also mentions her high magic reserves without proper training, the only way for her to gain proper control is to join the Mages Guild here in Cyrodiil. There is a Mages Guild in High Rock, but they only teach lesser spells, spells she cannot control.

Then was he talking about carving her own fate? What does that mean, does he mean for her to become an adventurer and scour across Tamriel for riches or something? That was a life for simpletons that strive to become rich. She doesn't need wealth if her family already covers her expenses, but... she does always want to travel around new places and not be stuck in her palace all the time.

"Aren't you afraid to die? I-I mean this is a rather serious, not a good situation for you, Emperor." Weiss asked her Emperor.

The Emperor gave her a small smile, "Your concerns are noted, Ms. Schnee, But I have lived well, and my ghost shall rest easy. Men are but flesh and blood. They know their doom, but not the hour. In this I am blessed to see the hour of my death... To face my apportioned fate, then fall."

-ASSASSINATION OF EMPEROR URIEL SEPTIM VII-

"My guards are strong and true, but even the might of the Blades cannot stand against the Power that rises to destroy us. The Prince of Destruction awakes, born anew in blood and fire. These cutthroats are but his mortal pawns. Take my Amulet. Give it to Jauffre. I have a secret son, and Jauffre alone knows where to find him. Find the last of my blood, and close shut the marble jaws of Oblivion." The Emperor gave Weiss his amulet, once Weiss had the necklace in her hand that powerful magic that resides within this amulet confirmed it was powerful.

"Wait? What Amulet?" Jaune was still confused as to what is happening, you cannot blame him for not knowing what's going on or why he was thrown into this situation in the first place!

"The Amulet of Kings. It is the Empire's sacred emblem of rulership. It must pass to the last of the Dragon's Blood. Keep it safe from the pawns of the Destroyer."

"Is there anything I could do to help you?" Jaune wasn't about to let someone important in front of him die, he would never forgive himself if he allowed a single life to die on his watch.

"You being here is helpful enough, I was glad to meet you both... even during these dark hours. Now, give me your hands." The Emperor replied.

Both Weiss and Jaune gave their hands at The Emperor's request.

"I won't forget you..." Weiss started to cry with tears coming from her eyes, even for a brief moment she was glad to meet the Emperor himself.

Uriel patted Weiss's head and gave her one final smile, "Remember me, and remember my words. This burden is now yours alone. You hold our future in your hands."

He turns his attention to Jaune, "You are a strange boy, always willing to do the right thing... heed a dying Emperor's final wish. Help those in need with everything in your disposal, never give in to temptation of riches or power, continue following a path of a true warrior and might just be a hero, you always dreamed of. Farewell, Jaune Arc of Remnant."

Jaune's eyes widened again and was about to ask how did the Emperor know his name, until an assassin came behind the Emperor and time slowed down. The assassin grabs the back of The Emperor's neck and slowly puts his dagger at his neck, and slits the jugulars of one of the oldest Emperors who was born 87-years ago and ruled over 65 years under his rule.

"NO!" Baurus, Weiss, and Jaune shouted and couldn't believe what they just witnessed!

"Strangers, you picked a bad day for getting involved in our plans." The Assassin mocked them before throwing the dying Emperor towards the ground.

Jaune pulls out his sword and quickly rushes towards to fight the assassin, Weiss tends the Emperor and tries to give him to drink the healing potion she saved, but the Emperor wasn't waking up. She tried and tried to save him, she cried out for help from the gods to save The Emperor... but no response.

The Emperor of Tamriel is dead.

Jaune had never been focused in his entire life, another life in front of him dead and he didn't help him! He deflected the upcoming small blade coming to his chest, before he took advantage of the missed stab and headbutts the assassin's face, he twisted the assassin's wrist and thrust forward onto the assassin's chest. Jaune pushed further until he landed the finishing blow of slicing off the head of the assassin who killed the Emperor.

Baurus arrived and came next to Weiss who was grieving, "We've failed. I've... failed. The Blades are sworn to protect the Emperor, and now he and all his heirs are dead."

He soon realized that Weiss has the amulet, he turned and saw the blond kid killed the assassin who murdered his Emperor.

"What happened here?" He asked them.

Once Jaune calms down from his bloodlust killing the assassin, he turns around to answer Baurus. "The Emperor gave us his amulet."

"Strange. He saw something in you two. Trusted you. They say it's the Dragon Blood that flows through the veins of every Septim. They see more than lesser men. The Amulet of Kings is a sacred symbol of the Empire. Most people think of the Red Dragon Crown, but that's just jewelry. The Amulet has power. Only a true heir of the Blood can wear it, they say. He must have given it to you for a reason. Did he say why?"

"We must take it to a man named Jauffre." Weiss stops her grieving with strong determination in her eyes.

"Jauffre? He said that? Why?" Baurus asked in confusion.

"There's another heir to the throne." Jaune said.

"Nothing I ever heard about. But Jauffre would be the one to know. He's the Grandmaster of my Order. Although you may not think so to meet him. He lives quietly as a monk at Weynon Priory, near the city of Chorrol." Baurus responded.

"How do we get there?" Weiss asked Baurus.

"First you need to get out of here. Through that door must be the entrance to the sewers, past the locked gate. That's where we were heading. It's a secret way out of the Imperial City. Or it was supposed to be secret. Here. You'll need this key for the last door into the sewers." Baurus handed Jaune the key for the door.

"Ugh, the sewers?" Weiss couldn't handle what's going on anymore, a dead emperor, the blades, the assassins, fate, everything is rushing at her at once.

"There are rats and goblins down there... but for what I've seen of you blond kid. I'm guessing you are an experienced Warrior. Am I right?" Baurus raises an eyebrow and awaits for confirmation.

"I... guess you can say that?" Jaune couldn't exactly say he's a warrior of heart, but he's quite experienced when handling a sword... with Crocea Mors of course, but judging he doesn't have it on him when awoke. It's safe to assume it's still back on Remnant.

-IMPERIAL CITY-

"Are you doing okay, Weiss?" Jaune concernedly asked his partner, fighting through the mobs of rats and goblins was tougher then he originally thought, at least they finally managed to get out of the sewers.

Once they made it out, it also confirms his suspicions in being on another world, last he checked... there wasn't a huge white tower that is perhaps bigger than Beacon Academy itself. And when does Remnant have two moons? The moon he saw earlier was full and not cracked, plus another moon next to it, the moon in this world is huge!

"I'm fine, Jaune. I don't need you to worry about me." Weiss honestly considered getting rid of Jaune to be honest. She wasn't a fan of the blonde even if he did save her several times back inside the crypt. But, she owed her life to him and Weiss Schnee always repaid her debt, even if it meant going on a quest to save the world.

Jaune shrugged pretty much used to the Weiss in his world's antics, right now the two of them are inside the city gathering supplies for their journey to Chorrol. The map they paid for shows how big Cyrodill actually is; it's going to take days or weeks to reach the place.

On the bright side he sightseeing the city, the huge walls, the architecture, the tower, and everything else around the districts. Except the Waterfront since that place is where the poor are currently living. The Elven Garden District is perhaps where the rich people live, he notices some of them wearing high quality clothes and robes, didn't Weiss mention she was also wearing those types of clothes before she was thrown into prison with him?

"So... where should we go first? I know our current destination is Weynon Priory and informed Jauffre about the situation." Jaune starts a small conversation with Weiss.

"As much I want to head over there, but after hearing what the Emperor mentioned about my fate. I realized if I want to help find the missing heir to the throne, I need to fully master my magic." Weiss replied and dead set on mastering her magic powers.

"Do you know anyone that could teach you?"

"Only one. The Mages Guild."

"Who are they?" Jaune had no idea who Weiss was suggesting.

"How could you not know who the Mages Guild are!? They are a group of mages who provide magical education and services to the people of Tamriel, and promote an understanding of Magic." Weiss couldn't believe the dolt beside her didn't know about the Mages Guild.

"I uh? Didn't study much about history and stuff?" Jaune scratches the back of head in embarrassment.

Weiss rolled her eyes and knew Jaune was a commoner, but didn't realized he was that far behind of ancient history behind that stupid head of his.

"I've noticed. But if you're going to tag along with me, I expect you to fully appreciate the services. I'm teaching you the knowledge you have missed out over the years, commoner."

Jaune slumps his shoulders with a sad expression, it seems no matter which world he ends up in it seems Weiss will always be mean to him. Along the fact she'll drill history into his head and stuff.

Can this day get even worse!

A.N: So both Weiss and Jaune are finally out of the Prison, sorry if I'm rushed to the end, but I really want to get straight to the action. Besides, the prison at the beginning of Oblivion bored me to death, except the famous Emperor lines of course...

Yes, Jaune doesn't have Crocea Mors, that includes his shield-sheath. Will this somehow impact Jaune, once he learns he can't take his sheath and turn into a shield? Yep. Jaune likes the classics so this should suit him just fine. He'll gain a new weapon sometime soon, but I won't spoil it.

Oblivion was my most favorite game of all time. The NPC's are funny, the factions are great, the DLC is good, and the story is decent. My main problem is that the DLC is a bit dull, not counting Shivering Isles or Knights of the Nine, those two are safe. But the other DLC's are useless, at least that's how I imagined it.

Anthony Galupo: Wish granted.

Brother Bov: I don't know if I'll ever get to Nier, I've never even played the game and perhaps never. I know people like 2B and whenever her skirt is torn from explosions or whatever, Men will pop a boner and wish they could do... stuff to her. It's male hermaphrodite and we can't exactly help ourselves if our inner thoughts get the better of us.

Arrow in knee: I have planned for Jaune to be in DxD, though the thought of him being an exorcist has never popped into my mind. Huh? Lesson learned, but anyway I can sorta see where you are coming from. But I can't imagine the thought Jaune serving the Angels in DxD, the whole concept in DxD is fucking confusing for me and goes against the laws of simple. We'll see through...

John Brazil: Same as Brother Bov with Nier, Horizon Zero Dawn ain't exactly in my to do list, and don't know much about the game. I've seen it but I'd avoid it since I don't want to be spoiled.

Sorry if the chapters are short, in the near future I'll try to make the chapters longer. But at the moment, this should be fine enough.

Leave a comment and inform me of things if I could do better.
