PIPER CORNERED THE PRINCESS…frantically as Leo walked.

There were a few snickers and Aphrodite sighed.

"You have quite an…odd taste." She said.

"Eh." Leo shrugged.

Jason was ogling the men…they were under an evil spell.

"Okay, I take offense to that." Triton said, keeping a hand on his chest with a mock hurt expression.

"Agreed." Percy said, grinning. Poseidon nodded.

"I agree with the three of them. They have more clothes than me. Each of them." Amphitrite said. Everybody burst out laughing.

Piper glared at the princess…answering that question.

A few snorts.

Let's just say the, ah, immigration…bargain I'd made in centuries."

Everybody's mouths went dry.

"Monitor clientele?" Rachel asked sharply

"That's what I heard." Will said

"That's what's written." Hestia said

"You need to get out of there." Rachel said "You don't want Gaia to know that three of the seven are there. Though she probably does, you don't Medea to go all old Medea." She said

"She's already charm speaking them." Silena said

"Basically, just don't want things to get worse than they already are." Rachel sighed.

Run, Piper thought…it's like yours" Piper said.

Reyna, Dakota and Jason growled.

"Now we really have…corrosion — acid, maybe?

This time the Greeks growled.

— and a Roman toga slashed…disturbingly like dried blood.

The Romans shuddered and the color drained from the demigods' faces. Some of the gods paled as well.

"Your Highness," Piper said…more story!" Jason agreed.

Jason and Leo cringed.

"We're acting like five year olds." Jason grumbled. Leo nodded in agreement.

The princess flashed Piper…grudge against a goddess, can I?"

The demigods groaned loudly and slammed the sand. Percy restrained from doing so, in the precaution to not cause an earthquake.

The princess's tone made…I can take it out on you.

"Don't you dare." Aphrodite growled. Piper paled a little but tried to look calm.

"But that hero took you…killed your own brother," Piper said

"Oh gods." Jason said in horror, running a hand through his hair.

"Why would you even-? How would even kill their own brother for whatever freaking reason? You care so much about love, then for gods' sake start caring about the love you had with your brother. He trusted you with truce and you killed him." Percy said, his voice shook a bit with anger. Even though he had never met Medea and was grateful that he didn't but what she did honestly pissed him off. The demigods shared Percy's disgust and so did the gods.

"She only cared about romantic love because the old Jason looked good." Aphrodite said.

The horrible story all coming…with the letter M.

"Aunty M!" Connor grinned, trying to lighten the mood which succeeded.

"That starts with an 'A' though." Percy grinned back. The gods looked a little surprised at the way Percy's attitude went from angry to calm in a matter of minutes. Then they looked at Poseidon and it all made sense again.

"The main name starts with 'M'." Travis said. Percy nodded.

What?" Jason stirred…This gave us time to get away.

Aphrodite scoffed. "You did all of that. You killed your brother and threw his remains and then your father had to stop and give him a proper ritual." She said

Everybody shook their heads disgustedly.

All this, I did for my husband…But I acted out of love."

"That is not love." The Aphrodite gang spat.

She turned to the boys…control more firmly than ever.

Zeus, Hera and Hephaestus went into an even stronger trance but then it was over in a second.

"So we have another note." Chris said "It says that the trance of Medea won't act up because it makes it harder to understand the chapters."

"Right. Yeah, that makes sense." Triton said

"Wouldn't you do the same…someone you loved, my dears?"

"If it meant killing my brother and tossing them into the sea, then it's a solid no. And if the person I assumingly loved, wants me to do that then I probably wouldn't even love them anymore in the first place." Percy said.

"Agreed. If the person you love wants you to betray your own brother my making them trust you only to kill him, then you probably don't want to be with the person because that's toxic." Silena said

Everybody nodded.

"No rivalry is that bad." Poseidon shook his head. Hades and Zeus nodded.

"Well, look at them agreeing with each other. It's a good thing." Demeter said and smiled. The three of them sighed.

"Oh, sure," Jason said…Celestial bronze or Imperial gold."

"Oh gods. That would definitely be exciting to a child of Hephaestus especially if they're under a charm." Beckendorf said. Leo sighed.

Jason flinched as if he…you'll be immediately trapped."

Hephaestus and Hera choked on air.

"How-?" Hephaestus started

"Oh that's not good." Ares said, shaking his head.

"I mean it might come in useful." Annabeth said.

"Annabeth." Chiron sighed. Hera and Zeus glared at her.

Leo apparently took this…walking toward it in a trance.

"No! Don't." Hephaestus said, looking worried, still not knowing how that throne got there in the first place.

"Leo, don't!" Piper warned…bit of your strength —

"Nah. I like my strength and seven years is a bit too much for me." Leo said. A few chuckles.

She led Leo into the…slapped him across the face.

"Ouch." Zeus muttered, as he rubbed his face.

"Yikes!" Piper said. Poseidon and Hades laughed and Demeter chuckled. Even Hera was trying not to laugh. Zeus glared at them.

"That seems like a pretty hard one." Amphitrite said in amusement. Piper grinned at Jason who grinned sheepishly as everybody chuckled at him and Piper.

"But you can't leave Leo alone." Beckendorf said

"One person out of the trance is better than both in it." Leo pointed out.

"You're in a trance. You might just end up serving Medea." Hephaestus said

"Oh yeah. Fair." Leo said

"Ow," he muttered sleepily…That is what you want, yes?"

"Let them be alone!" The demigods shouted.

Piper had to choke back…workout pants and Nikes.

Clarisse gave a small smile.

"Yes," the princess said…wares in good condition.

Then she scowled.

"He's not a ware." She said angrily. Grover nodded in agreement.

We can certainly barter for the storm…It was all a trick.

Everybody nodded.

But her friends were looking…"Name your price."

"No!" The Hermes gang groaned and they sounded emotionally pained.

"You never say that in a negotiation. You name your price." Hermes said.

"Will keep it mind." Leo said

"Ah good teachers." The Hermes gang grinned proudly

"Leo!" Piper snapped…The price will be high."

"It is fair. They almost died because of the storm spirits. If Hedge wouldn't have saved Leo, then he would be dead." Chris said

"She doesn't consider it that important." Aphrodite scowled.

Piper could see that her friends…"What are we doing, again?"

The Aphrodite gang nodded.

"Come on Piper." Silena smiled encouragingly. Piper gave a small smile but she figured that it wouldn't be that easy.

"Boys!" The princess spread…Is that so wrong?

"That part isn't so wrong. The rest of it is." Annabeth said

I made a pact…unknown on the shores of Colchis."

"Okay but that's half the story. You killed his children, your children and then his bride." Castor scowled.

Jason — Piper's Jason…here is my price for what you ask."

A few shudders.

"Guys," Piper said…"but neither was Medea's revenge

Everybody nodded in agreement with Piper.

She murdered her own children… a suitable price.

"You're insane." Piper said

"You're insane," Piper said.

There were a few small smiles at this but everybody was too on the edge about what was going to happen.

"I am the victim!"…"Seriously?" Leo asked.

"NO!" The gods and some of the demigods shouted.

"Oh gods." Beckendorf said and gripped Leo's shoulder.

"Leo, she's lying,"…them how they really felt.

"No no no no no." The demigods said. The gods were pale as well now.

"Shit." Jason and Leo swore at the same time, looking at each other with wide eyes.

Piper had never felt more…potent weapon was her voice.

Aphrodite nodded.

Leo scowled… takes me for granted."

"Ohh shit." Thalia said

Jason flinched and Leo grimaced.

"Hey, look, I don't mean it now." Leo said. Jason gave him a small smile, not missing the 'now' but was just glad that he didn't mean it anymore.

"You're annoying, Leo,"…You can't even fix a dragon."

"Nobody could have." Beckendorf said

"I get that now. I'm sorry Leo. I don't mean that. The quest really wouldn't have been possible without you. You're important. Not just to the quest but to all of us." Jason said. All the demigods nodded. Leo gave him a small smile.

"Thanks man." He said. Jason gave a small smile to him.

"Stop!" Piper pleaded…hammer from his tool belt.

Jason and Leo looked a horrified at facing each other and gave each other apologetic looks.

"We need to get you a proper weapon. You've got a flamethrower but I think a revolver with celestial bronze bullets would be better for you. You could become like Jesper from six of crows." Will grinned at Leo who grinned back.

"Yeah, I think I want to try a revolver." He said

"We can get you to try one with normal bullets and then you can see if you are good with it then we can get you some celestial bronze bullets." Michael said. Leo nodded.

"Let them go, Piper,"…father back so much, it hurt.

Piper winced. Aphrodite grimaced.

"We'll save him." Leo smiled at Piper who returned it.

"You work for Enceladus,"…but incredibly weak."

"I knew there was something off about her!" Piper spat.

"She did seem fishy." Annabeth nodded.

"She's under a spell too." Silena said grimly

"So she is still using Iris messaging. It's offending." Chris said

Everybody nodded.

"Thank you, ma'am," Jane said…touch to get his cooperation."

"No." Piper shook. Aphrodite and Silena gave her side hugs. The demigods felt awful for Piper.

"Yes," Jane agreed in a bland…time in a psychiatric hospital."

Piper growled.

"Yes, ma'am…helped get your mother killed!"

Leo snarled viciously. He called Medea all sorts of names that innocent demigods like Hazel didn't even know what they meant. The less innocent ones were nodding in agreement, looking dangerous themselves. Hephaestus was growling as well. Then the gods noticed something which made them pale. The demigods were glowing a little. The fates had told them that the demigods would be turning into gods after the books but if the demigods were already starting to glow, then the gods were worried that it would be too late to turn them after the five books got over. They would have to get turned into gods sooner than that. The making of the council could be done after the books but the ascent to godhood would have to be done before.

They all exchanged glances and nodded. Notes landed in the gods' hands. They all got the same note.

"The ascent will happen after this book or the next one. We will decide and tell you. Tell the demigods in the break."

The gods looked at each other and sighed. Though the gods wanted their kids to be gods, they thought that the demigods would have had longer time to remain demigods.

Hestia continued reading once the notes disappeared and the demigods calmed down.

"Uh-huh," Leo mumbled…hammer with your name on it."

Everybody cheered.

"YEAH GO PIPER!" Leo and Jason whooped. The other demigods were also cheering and so were some of the gods. The others were all smiling or grinning. Hephaestus gave Piper a grateful look. Zeus and Hera gave her small nods. Piper grinned at everybody.

"Bah!" Medea sneered…"They'll paralyze you."

The cheering went away.

"And that just had to happen." Travis said

"At least they're not under the charm anymore. That was causing huge problems." Connor said

"Indeed!" Medea was leisurely…trained together for years.

Leo and Jason smiled at each other.

Medea was almost to the second…that escalator-climbing?

Clarisse gave a small smile.

She reached the top floor…fifty-pound metal Frisbee.

A few people cheered.

She stumbled backward…Kill you?" Piper said hopefully.

"The place will explode." Aphrodite said with wide eyes.

"You need to get out of there. Now." Silena said

The carpet began to steam…much too far away to assist.

The color drained from Hephaestus and Beckendorf's faces. Jason was very pale and so was Piper. So were the other demigods.

"You've doomed us all!"…the moment they were contained

Everybody cheered loudly and the demigods were whooping and grinning.

"GO FESTUS!" Leo cheered. Everybody cheered the same. Beckendorf and Hephaestus were smiling at Leo, glad that he had got the dragon in the woods and repaired it, how much ever he could.

Medea cursed in some ancient…Take me with you!"

"Nah. I'm going to get them back either way when we go to save Hera. I'll take that way." Jason said. Hera nodded.

Piper glanced behind her…your father will die.

"No he won't die." Piper said. Aphrodite nodded and almost snorted at the thought of Jason staying ignorant.

Take me with you!"…Piper jumped over the side.

Everybody nodded.

She plummeted for only…hauling her aboard the dragon.

Leo, Jason and Piper grinned at each other and Piper went over to the two of them so that they could exchange a group high five and then Piper went back to her original position. Everybody grinned.

She heard Medea screaming…store exploded behind them.

"Done." Hestia said

"I'll read sister." Demeter smiled. Hestia gave a warm smile and passed her the book.
