A/N - Guys, you might have to read a few lines of the old story of Porphyrion and Hera for the chapter. Just type Porphyrion and Hera story on google. The information used in this chapter is just about one to two lines long.

Just as everybody was about to get up, Rhea walked up the gang.

"Mother." Poseidon smiled. Rhea greeted her kids with a warm smile.

"Percy, Thalia, Jason, Nico. A word please." Rhea said. The demigods' whose names were taken paled and were almost as white as the witch of Narnia.

"Uh only us?" Percy squeaked, with his voice cracking in multiple places. Triton gave a snicker.

"You're screwed." He said in a sing song voice. Percy smacked his arm playfully. Poseidon snickered.

"Leo too." Rhea smiled sweetly at Leo who paled but nodded.

"Right." Nico squeaked, his voice high pitched. The five of them shuddered as they got up and gave pleading looks to their parents who flashed them a thumbs up sign.

"All the best." Poseidon grinned.

"Dad." Triton and Percy groaned.

"Is it going to be bad?" Nico asked Hades fearfully. Hades chuckled.

"Depends on what she wants to talk to you about." He grinned.

"Not helpful." Nico grumbled.

The five of them walked with Rhea as a few of them bit their nails. The elder six gods chuckled as they saw the seven of them walk, while sticking close to each other and punching each other in the arm good naturedly.

Michael, Lee and Will went with Ares to get revolvers for Leo. Man he had some violent guns with him. Luckily he also had few revolvers in which he didn't mind much in giving two to three of them. He said that it wouldn't even make a difference which the three demigods agreed to. Ares had like twenty revolvers, luckily they weren't loaded. The ammo was kept in the weaponry.

"Take a seat." Rhea smiled at her grandchildren and Leo who nodded and sat close to each other like penguins.

"So um did we do something wrong?" Thalia asked

"Not really." Rhea smiled "I just want to talk." She said

"So you have a grudge against my daughter." Rhea said

"Hera?" Leo asked. Rhea nodded.

"It's not exactly a grudge. It's just that she's kind of cruel and hateful towards demigods. And like she's done a lot to all of us." Nico said, with a pause.

Rhea gave them a small smile.

"Right but don't you all leave everything in the past? That's how you are able to bond with the other gods." She said

"Yes but she's apparently done something to Percy and Jason and she did take Thalia's brother from her." Nico said

"And tried to fry me. I mean she knew I was fireproof and all but then I'm not safe against snake poison or something." Leo said.

"Again. That's the past. But yes, don't you think that if Jason and Thalia would have grown in an abusive environment, it would've been much harder for them." Rhea pointed out. Thalia and Jason looked at each other and frowned.

"I mean you do have a point." Jason muttered. Rhea gave a small smile.

"But what about erasing the memories and hating that Zeus is actually trying to bond with his kids. We all saw it ourselves." Percy said

"Yes. That's something wrong but Hestia will speak to her about that." Rhea admitted. "And as for the erasing memories, as my son has closed Olympus, I think that perhaps that was the only choice left." Rhea said

"She got captured by Porphyrion though." Leo said, intentionally saying the correct name as it wasn't the time for joking. Rhea gave him a sad smile.

"Do you all know the old story of Porphyrion?" She asked.

"She got captured before and dad defeated Porphyrion." Thalia guessed.

"Hmm. That's not the full story and nor is that simple." Rhea said, with a thoughtful expression.

"Oh." Thalia said

"I thought that's what happened." Jason agreed with Thalia. Rhea gave them all a sad smile again. She told them the actual story of what had happened when Porphyrion had kidnapped Hera and how he had treated her and how Porphyrion was then defeated. Her voice broke at the hard parts and did turn angry at certain parts.

She saw all the color in demigods' faces drain and some of their expressions turn furious as well. In fact there was also a point in which Rhea was sure that the sky outside was darkening, there was an actual fire in Leo's eyes the tide increased and that the shadows got darker than they were.

She didn't like recounting or telling this story but she felt that the demigods should know this story as it was important for them to see Hera in another perspective than cruel and hateful and of course the aim of the reading was to bond with everybody. The fates had also warned her before coming that she might have to tell them this story.

"Ri-ight." Leo said, his voice cracking a little.

"So that's what happened." Jason swallowed.

"Freaking giants." Nico scowled.

"I think Percy knows this. That for a relationship to form, both sides have to try but one has to start it like a chess game. You have to show that you are ready to change or that you want to." Rhea said with a small smile at the demigods. Nico and Percy exchanged glances, remembering the conversation that they had had when Nico was having problems with Persephone. To be honest, how was this any different? Except for the fact that Hera had messed with the demigods' lives but like Rhea said, that was the past…

The demigods looked at each other, having the same thoughts. Though they might not like the way that Hera had treated demigods in general, they just got a whole story which really mixed things up, making them a lot more complicated. They had to agree that Rhea had a point and they also understood why she had told them the story. There definitely had to be a reason why she told them a story that was so hard for her to tell too. There was silence for some time.

"How many people know about this story?" Percy asked finally

"Not many. Just the elder gods, I think." Rhea said

"And how many do you think remember it?" Nico asked

"All six of them." Rhea said

"I didn't exactly see it on their faces." Leo said

"They can't show it. Not in front of the younger gods or in front of us. It's not something everybody knows and it'd be crazily traumatizing for all the six of them." Jason said, shaking his head.

"Yes." Rhea said, nodding at Jason.

The demigods rubbed their hands on their mouths and then they paled once more, the story still fresh in their minds.

"Right. Thank you grandmother. We'll look into it. Thanks again." Percy said, getting up. The other four got up and nodded. Rhea gave them a small smile.

"Can I tell Will?" Nico asked

"And Annabeth?" Percy asked

"You can tell them if you find the need to. Not anybody else." Rhea said. Everybody nodded. They left the quarters without saying a word to each other.

"Oh guys. Hey. I want to borrow Thalia, Percy and Nico please." Aphrodite came up to them, along with Triton, Hazel and Silena.

"Mm okay." Percy said, not really listening.

"Percy!" Silena said. Percy looked up and nodded. Thalia, Nico and Percy went along with Aphrodite, Triton, Hazel and Silena.

"Jason please wait here." Aphrodite smiled. Jason nodded.

"So Aphrodite, why have you got us here?" Triton asked, as they reached her quarters.

"Well I was thinking that you wanted to know why I kept smiling when Jason and Piper talked." Aphrodite smiled.

"I was wondering about that." Silena said

"The simplest answer is that Jason's Piper's mate and Piper is his." Aphrodite said. Silena's eyes went wide.

"Mate in the sense soulmate?" Leo asked. Aphrodite nodded.

"Are you going to tell Piper?" Silena asked.

"I won't have to. She's already confused too and so is Jason. They might just come soon to me to see what they can do. I will tell them later though. But please do not tell them." Aphrodite said. Silena and the others nodded. Aphrodite got up and brought Jason in.

"And why am I here?" Triton asked Aphrodite.

"Well I thought that you would like to know why I asked you to ask your parents to renew their vows." She replied.

"What now?" Thalia asked. Aphrodite explained what she had asked. They all nodded.

"So is there a reason behind it?" Hazel asked

"Yes. Amphitrite is Poseidon's mate and the other way around. Persephone is Hades' mate and the other way around and in the same way Hera is Zeus' mate." Aphrodite explained.

"That makes sense. All of it. The relations I meant." Percy murmured. The ones who had just been to Rhea's quarters nodded more vigorously than the others.

"So that's what you wanted to tell us?" Triton asked. Aphrodite nodded and smiled.

"Thanks." Triton said, giving a small smile. Everybody nodded and left the room.

Hestia had taken Hera to her room once some of the demigods left with Hera while the other gods and demigods went to the dining hall or garden or wherever they had to go. Artemis and Apollo went off to have some conversation and to practice archery together.

"Sister, why have you brought me here?" Hera sighed.

"To talk. Tea?" Hestia smiled and asked

"Coffee actually." Hera said. Hestia was one person that nobody ever got angry with. Hera quite liked having small talks with Hestia. Just general topics most of the times.

"Hot black coffee?" Hestia asked. Hera gave a small smile and nodded. Hestia poured some coffee for both of them. Hera was actually reminded of her mother every time that Hestia would ask her to sit and talk and pour them some drinks.

"So now. We have to talk." Hestia said, sitting on the chair in front of Hera.

"About?" Hera asked

"The demigods." Hestia said. There went Hera's slight good mood and she scowled.

"And?" Hera asked

"You should treat them well. They aren't like the ones who would hurt anybody intentionally unless they have hurt their family. They look out for each other and always try to make sure that they're safe and together. Isn't that what you and I had to do when we were given the titles of goddess of family and hearth?" Hestia said

"I was also given the title of marriage. The demigods of the big three are born of cheating." Hera said

"And yet Jason is your champion and somewhere you do care for him." Hestia said

"They insulted me. The Athena girl especially." Hera said disdainfully.

"And you had insulted them too by saying that the ones who were gone were better gone especially after they had faced a battle in which many of the lost their half siblings. Luckily, the fates have brought them back to life now. And you also said that Nico does not belong just because he is the son of Hades." Hestia reminded her

"And also you tried to kill Annabeth with your statue when they were saving Olympus but the statue landed on Thalia and hurt her." Hestia said. Hera sighed. When you put it like that… No when Hestia put it like that, it all just seemed worse than Hera thought.

"They are all family too. Not just each others' but ours too. Most of the gods have started to see that and are changing. It doesn't matter that they're going to be gods. That's not the reason that you should bond with them but because they are family." Hestia said. Hera was about to say something but Hestia wasn't done.

"And even Zeus is trying to change to get closer to his children. And you don't seem happy with that. I get that they were born by the same mother and by Zeus' different aspects and especially as a result of a broken pact. I don't like that brother cheated on you again but his children have nothing to do with it. Persephone and Amphitrite aren't complaining about it and are getting along great with their step children. I also get that some of the council's younger gods are Zeus' children but not yours but you should accept them too." Hestia said

"And also I'm pretty sure that Zeus doesn't like that you aren't being nice to his children. He does care for them somewhere and it's starting to show as well. And he does love you. You shouldn't stop him from bonding with his children but instead I think that you should try to get closer to them. Maybe find a center. If I'm not wrong then Percy and Amphitrite did that and now look at them. Same with Persephone, Nico and Hazel. It will make you happy, it will make Zeus happy and then it will make both of you happy together. You should be accepting Hera."

"I know you don't like it that Ares and Hephaestus don't talk to you that much but maybe that will improve too. That's what the reading is about. To get everybody together." Hestia finished.

Hera stared at her elder sister. It had been quite some time since Hestia had given her a lecture. Hestia gave a small chuckle when she thought what her sister was thinking. Even though Hestia mostly appeared as a little girl, it was practically impossible to not listen to what she was saying because she just radiated such a calm atmosphere.

"You really think so?" Hera asked her sister who nodded.

"And about Zeus loving me too?" Hera asked. Hestia gave her sister a small smile.

"The key to any relationship is simply trying and being patient." Hestia said. There was a knock on their door.

"Come on in." Hestia said.

"Hello." Katie smiled. Hestia gave her a smile "Lunch is getting served. We thought that Leo would be cooking but he's with Aphrodite and the others right now." She said.

"We'll be right there." Hestia smiled. Katie nodded and left the room.

"They're good people, Hera. All of them. I meant everything I said." Hestia said. Hera sighed.

"You'll try. Promise me." Hestia said. Hera nodded.

"All right. I promise." Hera sighed. Hestia smiled widely and the two sisters went to the dining hall.

The five demigods, Triton, Hazel and Silena went to the dining room followed by Aphrodite. Triton casually went and sat down at his table while Hazel went to her table and Silena joined her mother. As they had come in later, they had already put their food in their plates when Aphrodite called them. Apollo and Artemis were sitting together, talking about the practice and some old memories so Apollo's kids, Rachel and Reyna sat together and talked.

The other five demigods went to put their food, still thinking about their talk with Rhea, where they ran into Zeus and Hera. They gave them small nods which really surprised the two gods. Percy put some random pizza in his plate and then went to his table and sat down distractedly. Nico put some pasta in his bowl and went and joined the rest of the Underworld gang. Leo grabbed some tacos and went to his table.

Instead of sitting with the hunters, Thalia went and sat with Zeus and Hera and Jason joined them soon. Zeus and Hera looked very surprised by now but Zeus was quite pleased. Hera sighed and remembered what Hestia had told her.

"Hello dad…and Hera." Jason and Thalia murmured. The two gods returned the greeting.

"Uh Percy." Triton said. Percy didn't listen and just ate the random pizza he had taken without even realizing the taste.

"Percy." Amphitrite said.

"Percy!" Poseidon said. Percy was still not listening and looked distracted as if he was just lost in his thoughts which he was.

"Perseus Jackson!" Poseidon said a little loudly. Percy's head shot up as if that was the first time he heard Poseidon which it was.

"Y-yes dad. Yeah, I'm listening. Sorry, I was just- Just kind of- Yeah, I'm listening. Go ahead." Percy said. The sea gang looked worried about Percy.

"Are you okay brother?" Tyson asked, his one eye clouded with worry.

"Yeah, I'm just-, Yeah, I'm fine." Percy said. This just got the sea gang more worried but they decided to keep the conversation normal.

"You're eating olive pizza." Triton said.

"I am?" Percy asked "That's why it was tasting weird." Percy muttered. He took one bite of the pizza and drank his milkshake to swallow it as he did not like olives.

"Hey Wise girl!" he called. Annabeth looked at him.

"You want olive pizza? I accidentally took it and I'm not liking it." He said. Annabeth chuckled and went over to his table.

"You already ate three slices." She said in amusement.

"I was uh-distracted." Percy said. Annabeth raised an eyebrow at the rest of the sea gang who were just as confused as she was. She took the pizza and went to her table. The sea gang looked worriedly at Percy who had decided to just drink his milkshake.

Jason had been stirring his electric blue absentmindedly for the last 10 minutes. The drink needed absolutely none of the stirring. Zeus and Hera were looking at him a little weirdly with a little bit of concern.

"Uh son? That drink doesn't need any stirring." Zeus said finally. Jason looked at his father and nodded. He stopped stirring for like ten seconds before going back to it again distractedly. Zeus raised his eyebrows.

Thalia was just not talking and was just staring into the distance. She hadn't touched a thing on her plate which was quite concerning. Zeus raised his eyebrows at her as well but Thalia didn't seem to notice. Zeus looked at Hera who was looking just as mystified as him.

"Hey Nico!" Will grinned as he went to the Hades table. Hades chuckled at the son of Apollo.

"Whoa. His past is broken from the middle." Will said in surprise

"Yeah, so?" Persephone asked him in confusion.

"Nico hates his pasta like that. I once made him a bowl a few days ago and he chased me all the way on Olympus." Will said.

"That's odd. Nico never takes things that he hates." Hazel said. Hades and Persephone frowned. Will shook Nico in worry.

"Oh hey sunshine." Nico said with a weak smile at Will whose eyes were filled with worry.

"Neeks, are you okay?" Will asked. Nico nodded. Wil knew he wasn't all right but he knew that Nico didn't want to talk about what was bothering him yet so he kept the conversation normal.

"Your pasta is broken." Will said to him. Nico looked shocked.

"Oh gods. I didn't see that. Anybody want it?" Nico asked

"I'll take it." Hades said with a small worried smile. Nico gave his dad the bowl of pasta and focused on his drink. Will gave Nico a small smile and worriedly went back to his table.

Leo on the other hand was just staring at his tacos. He like the other five demigods were quite unnerved about the story Rhea told them. They had read Greek Mythology. They also had some weird relations but this story with a giant was just disturbing. Leo had never really liked Tia Callida but he had known her from his childhood and he did not like to hear this story at all. It made him…angry. Yeah that was it. He was angry. And if he looked deeper, he was upset. Just like the other five demigods.

Beckendorf and Hephaestus stared at Leo as he had not touched his tacos since 15 minutes.

"Leo." Beckendorf said. Leo looked up. There was a touch of redness but Beckendorf and Hephaestus didn't mention it.

"Your tacos." Beckendorf said. Leo looked at them and managed a sheepish smile and started eating. The gods whose children were acting like that exchanged worried glances.

"You should rest." Poseidon said.

"We're fine dad." Percy said

"That's okay. You still need rest. Turn in early today." Poseidon said. The demigods relented and went to their quarters and tried to sleep. They were awake for some time but soon gave into sleep.

"What's up with them?" Zeus asked as the parents of the five demigods sat together.

"They seem unnerved about something." Poseidon said

"And what is that 'something'?" Hades asked

"I don't know." Poseidon said. "If I knew then I would tell you." He said

"They've been like this since they came out of grandmother's quarters." Triton said quietly "Maybe she told them something." He suggested. The five gods looked at each other and went to Rhea's quarters.

"Hello mother." Poseidon smiled warmly when they saw Rhea. The elder gods' moods always got better when they saw their mother. Rhea smiled at them.

"Our children are…disturbed about something." Hephaestus said with a pause.

"What did you tell them? Could you please tell us so we can talk to them?" Hades asked gently.

"Sorry son. I can't tell you what I told them but you already know it. The information I gave them, you already know it but I can't tell you what I told them." Rhea said, giving a sad smile. The gods sighed. They knew Rhea would have a reason too. They gave her small smiles and left after saying their 'good nights'.

"So. What do we do now?" Hephaestus asked

"Maybe we should just read tomorrow. It might help us know more and the demigods might feel better in the morning too." Hera suggested, as she saw that the demigods might be fresher in the morning. Everybody raised their eyebrows at her but didn't comment.

"That's a good idea." Amphitrite agreed. Everybody nodded and bid their 'good nights'. Poseidon, Hades and Zeus nodded at each other as well after saying their 'good nights' and went to their quarters, turning in for the night.
