This was written a year after the first story. It takes place during and after Mass Effect 3. I had never intended to write a sequel but eventually I decided the way the game ended, I needed closure for the Tali romance. This is why I listed them as self contained stories and not chapters. They are linked but there's a gap there taken up by the game itself.
