Merlin has passed on, but he's left Arthur with one final gift. And somehow, the king must figure out how to control this sudden power and run a kingdom without his best friend. Rated because I again don't know where this story is going.

Uther is enraged when he finds Arthur in bed with someone out of wedlock. Not only is it someone, it is a servant, and a man, and a sorcerer. That is right! MERTHUR! Uther has Merlin put on trail for adultery and sorcery, and sentenced to death. Will Arthur watch the one person he loves be hanged or give up his crown and everything to save him?

A story of how a servant came to care for his prince. It takes roughly five days for Merlin to go from loathing Arthur Pendragon to tolerating him, and another two hundred sixteen to become vaguely fond of his existence. After three hundred thirty four days, he even starts to care what happens to him, and it only goes up from there. No slash.

Arthur finds out the truth of what happened to his mother. He runs away in search for his ex-manservant who had escaped after being sentenced to death for sorcerer two years ago. The two friends reunite and plan their rebellion on Camelot to dethrone Uther Pendragon and bring magic back to the land while also dealing with a new, darker side to his once cheerful companion.

It is Merlin's Senior Year and after all the hell he has been through maybe, just maybe, a certain blonde, blue eyed soul from a different school will make all the tears he has weep and all the fighting he has done to push on living worth it.
