Decades after the end of the Reaper War, Shepard contemplates her sudden retirement. An old friend comes to visit, and makes a surprising confession. Slight FemShep/Liara, mostly Femshep and Garrus.

An SI story about a massive gaming nerd who is flung into the world of Mass Effect with a few friends and a Quarian Body. Rated T because I don't know what's coming up, and Mass Effect is a scary place.

In 2185, the Normandy approached Earth, transporting Commander Shepard to her trial. A strange anomaly resulted in the Normandy's destruction, and her escape pods- carrying most of Commander Shepard's team- were scattered through time. This is a preview, showing a snippet of each character in each time period.

Shepard may have been clean throughout her time in the Alliance, but it doesn't mean that she's forgotten about it. When things get particularly tense, that's when she thinks about it the most.

A little shipment of sand breaks open and Shep has to deal with the exposure and subsequent high. Annd then there's always the comedown that follows.

Legion interprets windows as a structural weakness and observes that the SR-2 seems to have an excess of this. So begins his quest to rectify that. Unfortunately, some people just can't be swayed. So resumes the war between the windows and the apples.
