I would like to thank all of the lovely ladies of the Jackfic chat (you all know who you are) who talked to me and inspired me at all hours of the morning while I stayed up trying to finish this. Originally published 2003.

One hot night on an alien planet, after Jack and Sam indulge in a little alien baklava, things get heated between them. Yet another twitter challenge. This one came before the one that resulted in Not a Perfect Solution, and I can't quite remember what the challenge was, but this was the result.

Daniel and Vala's first dance written as an unsongfic songfic. You just have to listen to Better Place by Rachel Platten. I got this idea by listening to it over and over in the car. Daniel/Vala, hint of Jack/Sam.

Sam discovers that sometimes doing one's duty completely sucks. A post Seth SG-1 adventure full of angst, whump and teammy goodness.

AU off of episode 4.14 "The Curse". What if the Isis jar had been intact and had been opened first? (Characters: Isis, Sarah Gardner, Osiris, SG-1, Martouf Lantash.) Was supposed to be a oneshot ficlet but it's grown. Refer notes at the start of each chapter.

Vala begins to understand her real feelings for Daniel. If you have not heard the "Big Finish" Audio Drama Shell Game a Daniel Jackson and Vala Mal Doran SG-1 off-world adventure (Voiced by Claudia Black and Michael Shanks) you should still be able to follow this set immediately after the ending of Shell Game. It's the eve of the Atlantis Expedition's departure and SG10 are bidding farewell to one of their own.

Summer 1981: Young Samantha Carter befriends Jolinar of Malkshur in a way much closer then she could've ever imagined. Official prequel to alternate reality series in which the Stargate Program started off in the 1980's.

Q27: Another early season 1. To help Cassie settle in and teach her a few things about Earth Janet has invited the whole of SG-1 round for an evening meal. For some reason Sam has her reservations, but surely Janet can handle a Colonel, an Archaeologist and a Jaffa...right? Friendship/Humour. K rated.

It was supposed to be a boring, bland babysitter mission for SG-10. It ends up in a different reality. Oops.

Sam and Janet both think life is to short and decide to ask O'Neill to marry them.

(AU of episode Fragile Balance) A fluke accident with an Asgard experiment turns SG1 into teenagers. Once healed they're put in High School together thinking they're done with the stargate for good, but the SGC has need of them once more in an adventure which will steal them from the boredom of mundane lives and place them into the clutches of an enemy.
