My AU thoughts for the end of season 5. Castle has packed up to leave Kate. Is he leaving For good? Why? Will they reconnect? When?

She simply stood there, wondering whether to let it go, or confront him. He knew what she meant – they were masters of subtext. But was subtext enough anymore?

Follow up to The Squab and the Quail. Picks up right where it left off. Beckett takes matters into her own hands, literally and figuratively. Needless to say she gets her answers.
