An alternate course of events in which the characters from the 2005 movie universe travel to the 1971 movie universe and have to find a way to get back; however, the more time they spend there, the more attached they become to their 1971 counterparts. Set 14 years after the events of the 2005 film. Charlie is now an adult living as the heir to the Wonka empire, and while his new reality is undoubtedly a step up from where he came from, he now dreams of a life bigger than that of a chocolatier. However, after Charlie gets entangled in the life of an old acquaintance, he quickly learns exactly what he wants in life.
