Chapter 1
A Royal Summons Pt. 1
Point of View: 3rd …
It had seemed to be a normal day in Hyrule. Birds were chirping, flowers were blooming, and the sound of monsters being exterminated were ringing out in the distance. Bokoblins and Lizalfos were being swatted away by a knight in green clothing.
Link: HYAH! HURAH!
Link landed one last blow on the final Monster, a Moblin. It fell to the floor before dissolving into purple smoke.
Link: Hmm.
He grunted with confidence. The captain ran towards the young hero.
Captain: Link!
When he screeched to a stop, he took a moment to catch his breath. Then he started to speak again.
Captain: Thank you again for your help. It's a bother having to fight all of these monsters each and everyday y'know.
Link nodded in agreement. The Captain and Link walked back to the Castle.
Later …
Link had entered his room, just after the battle in the field. He sat at his bedside, getting ready to discard his Knight's Armor. He looked to his side for his night clothes but spotted something on the stand beside his lamp. A book.
Link: Hm?
Link grabbed the book and looked at it's cover and read the title."The Weapons of the Four Holy Saints" it was called. Link's first question was, "Who put this here?" Seeing as he had some time before "Lights Out" he decided to take a read. It spoke of Four Heroes wielding legendary weapons to save the world from a "Great Calamity." It sounded much similar to their world, with the ancient legend of the Hero, Princess, and Demon King. Once Link reached the other page, it was blank.
Link: Huh?
He went further into the book. Blank, blank, blank. Was this some prank? Some trick from his fellow knights? When would they've had time to plan this? Everyone was out on then field, right? Link had sighed, just when the story was getting good. But suddenly …
SHING!
The book's blank pages started to glow, and started to suck Link in like a vortex.
Link: Tcch!
Link's feet started to slide as he was pulled inside of the book. Luckily, he spotted his most useful weapon, the Master Sword. Unfortunately, he was only able to grab it and not unsheath it and was sucked into the book with a resounding scream.
Link: GAAAAHHHH!
Mysterious World …
Link was falling through a golden void, the Master Sword in his hands. He couldn't close his eyes, witnessing what was just happening to him. When he finally blinked, he landed on a soft rug, with his sword beside him.
?: W-We did it! It was a success!
Link had heard this. Were they monsters? Ganondorf's Servants? Although, they sounded Hylian.
?: O' Four Saint Heroes of Old! Please help save our world!
With this, Link could only wonder … What the hell was going on?!
