Ninetales couldn't believe his eyes when he stepped through the park's gate. After being registered, Daniel thought it would be a good idea to go to the park with him and Vulpix. The park itself wasn't anything too interesting, it was just your usual slides, swings, and monkey bars. What was interesting was the Pokemon playing in the park, most of which looked like Houndoom without horns or exposed rib bones. Some looked like little Yampers, but they were all Pokemon that he didn't recognize. "Just so you're aware, those are dogs, not Pokemon," Daniel said before settling Vulpix on the ground. The fox fell flat on his side; he was still sleeping.

It was kind of cute, Vulpix tends to sleep a lot at a young age. Ninetales barked at Daniel to keep ahold of the younger for the time being, as he knew Vulpix was having a really good sleep if falling flat couldn't wake him up. "You can find the energy at night to tty and get me to play, but you can't find the same energy during the day," Daniel sighed. He could probably guess thst Vulpix and Ninetales were morning or day Pokemon, given how they're basically just six and nine tailed foxes respectively, Dan could guess that they were nocturnal. Well, not exactly nocturnal, but they certainly weren't naturally sleeping at night. "Alright Ninetales, go play or something. Or just sit with me and enjoy the weather," Daniel said.

Daniel plopped himself down on a bench and sighed. "Vulpix!" He looked down to see his fox wide awake, like he hadn't been asleep for ten minutes. "You little bastard," Dan said. "Of course you wake up the very second I sit down…" Vulpix looked at his trainer with an innocent little smile, before hopping onto the ground. Dan reached in his pocket and pulled out a tennis ball. "Alrighty, are you down for playing fetch?" Ninetales was immediately trying to get the ball out of his trainer's hand. "Where the heck did you come from?" He chuckled as Ninetales' jaws locked onto the ball. The fox was being careful of his master's fingers and it showed. The very second Ninetales could tell his teeth were too close to Dan's fingers, he'd let go of the ball and try to grab it again.

"Hey, me and Dan were going to play fetch!" Vulpix pouted. In Vulpix's mind, it was a really dumb game, but he didn't mind playing it. It was easy exercise on top of free time with his trainer. Ninetales let go of the ball entirely before looking at Vulpix. "But…" the elder fox backed off of Daniel. "you psycho," his trainer laughed. The ball flew out of Daniel's hands and Vulpix was on the ball. The most fun games were always the dumbest ones, which fetch was very, very dumb. A corgi came through and snatched the ball before returning it. Vulpix, not wanting to be out done, went to wrestle the dog for the ball. "Give me that you Yamper!" Vulpix may have likely been younger than the corgi, but he was definitely a lot smarter than it. The dog let go of the to try and play bite and Vulpix, who snatched the ball and bolted towards Daniel.

The fox skidded to a stop in front of his trainer, who had gotten up off the bench. The corgi skidded to a stop and side eyed Vulpix before putting his focus back on the tennis ball. "Hey Ninetales, you wanna have a go at this?" Dan asked. The fox nodded before plopping himself right beside his trainer. Vulpix decided to sit this run out, to let his friend go for the ball instead. Ninetales was off the very second Daniel chucked the ball, so was the corgi. To nobody's surprise, Ninetales with the longer legs and stride, was significantly faster. It didn't even look like Ninetales was running, like he just floated over the grass towards his target. Ninetales leaped into the air and grabbed the ball, before landing on his feet.

The dog came tumbling into Ninetales, causing the fox to come tumbling down after such a graceful performance. Daniel laughed, he clenched his stomach as he cried from how hard he was laughing. Vulpix couldn't help but be envious of how pretty Ninetales were, which made him just more excited to become one. Ninetales lifted his head up, which was now covered in dirt, and glared at the corgi. The ball was still clenched within his jaws and now he definitely wasn't letting go of it. The corgi was surprisingly nowhere to be found once he finally sat up. "Where in the…?" Ninetales looked up to see the dog he was just playing with, in its owner's arms, who promptly ran away from the fox. His ears flattened as he got up to bring the ball back to his trainer.

"Hey bud," Daniel saw what had happened, Ninetales' new friend was taken away from him, and he could guess why. The boy couldn't help but frown at his Pokemon's shift in mood, from goofy and happy, to down in the dirt. Dan sat down and started petting Ninetales. "That dog's owner didn't like you, did she?" The fox shook his head. Sure, he was as smart as a person, but he still couldn't get why somebody wouldn't like him. In his world, just about anyone would've jumped at the chance to even pet a Ninetales, but he remembered something. This wasn't his world, the people in it weren't the people from his world, and likely had different feelings towards him. Though… if it was clear that he wasn't going to hurt the "dog", then why was its owner so keen on taking it away from him?

"Hey Ninetales, are you alright?" Vulpix got up on his hind legs and was trying to clean the dirt off of Ninetales' face. "I'm fine, just confused," Ninetales said solemnly. "Remember, some humans back in our world would've also loved the chance to kill you. There's stuff about people we will never understand, no matter how much we try to understand," Vulpix said. "I know… I-I just don't get it, Daniel loves us to death and he's a human," Ninetales said. "Look, if you got Daniel, then what does it matter if no other person likes you?" Vulpix asked. Ninetales chuckled to himself. "And here I was thinking I'd end up taking care of you," Vulpix pulled away, now knowing his friend was in a better mood. "Well, what else am I supposed to do when I see you getting ready to cry?" The two foxes nuzzled each other, and froze when a flash of light blinded them.

Daniel covered his mouth when he chuckled. "I'm sorry, but you guys are fucking adorable," Dan then put his phone back in his pocket. He wrapped an arm around Ninetales. "Not everybody's gonna like you, keep in mind that you guys weren't even a thing until about a month ago," Daniel said. Ninetales nodded, that did make sense, in a world where Pokemon seemingly weren't real until recently, it would make sense that the inhabitants wouldn't like him. Even Daniel was scared of him when they first met… Ninetales barked and pawed his trainer's arm, to let him know he wanted to be let go. "Well, let's get out of here, before somebody more violent shares the same sentiment as that corgi's owner," Daniels said. The two foxes barked before following their trainer out.

"Excuse me sir," a lady stopped Daniel just as he had opened his car. "Do you need some change or something? Because I got a bunch of quarters in the cup holders," Daniel asked. The lady had a smartphone in her hand and had crimson hair. She seemed to be dressed in a casual hoodie and skirt as well. What struck out most was how much she sounded like one of the bad guys in the Pokemon anime. Well, not exactly villains, more like minor inconveniences. "Of course not! I was wondering about that Ninetales sitting next to you… and the Vulpix… where did it go?" The lady looked around for the little fox to no avail, it had hid itself within Ninetales' tails. "Do you wanna pet him or something?" Dan was then hit with a rubber ball that bursted into a lot of flowers.

"What the fuck?" Suddenly a Meowth, in a terrible costume, and a guy with blue hair jumped out of some nearby bushes. The man seemed to have similar clothing to the woman, except with shorts instead of a skirt. "You just got pranked by Rocket Pranks, twerp. We're reaching for the stars above with our new floral rubber ball prank!" The crew laughed. "And now, before you get mad at us, we'll be blasting off at the speed of light!" The trio ran off at speeds that Daniel couldn't even keep up with. He grinned at the idea. "I didn't even know you could fit that many flowers into a little rubber ball!" Then it hit him… He'll end up on a prank video. Vulpix peeked his head out of Ninetales' tails, having heard everything. "Well, let's go home guys," Daniel sneezed as he opened the car door for his Pokemon.

Jessie cheered as she looked over all the clips she had just got. "Look guys, we've got plenty for Youtube!" She said, "I still wish we just stuck to live streaming," James said. "But how else can we maximize our wallets' space without both?" Meowth said. "I suppose…" James sighed. "Maybe we should have warned some people, I think that last guy was allergic," he said. "Well, we can do that next time," Jessie said. "Besides, at least we aren't faking our pranks, or threatening to blow up a grocery store," she added. "Yeah, the coppers wouldn't be happy if we threw a smoke bomb at somebody again," James said. Meowth grabbed Jessie's phone and Swiftly put the best clips through the phone's video editor. "The video's ready!" He was then met with Jessie's hand striking his cheek. "Let me know when you're going to do that!" Jessie said. She then jumped up and started running down the sidewalk. "Let's head home to get this up!" James and Meowth looked at each other before following their "leader."
