Chapter 1 – Worlds Collide

In the far reaches of space, three young women were traveling the universe, two of them weren't from this universe however. No, they were Saiyan Warriors from Universe 6, and they wanted to see what Universe 7 had to offer in terms of strong fighters. The other young woman was a resident of Earth, a prodigal genius, and the richest human alive. She was traveling with the two Saiyan girls as a way to start a new life.

During their flight through space, the genius had been training with the Saiyan girls so that she wasn't dead weight anymore. Something her ex-husband rudely pointed out before she wished to be divorced from him.

"Hey, Bulma! We're coming up on a new planet!" One of the Saiyans called out.

Yes, it was Bulma Briefs, best friend of the strongest man in the Multiverse and Former Owner of Capsule Corp. She was a busty young woman with blue shoulder-length hair and blue eyes. She was currently wearing an orange Kevlar vest with black highlights, a full-body, form-fitting black jumpsuit, with orange boots.

"Alright, Let's see what the scanner says about the inhabitants." She said as she walked up to a monitor. "Hmm, technologically speaking this planet isn't very advanced, but the power levels are rather impressive."

"Nice! I can't wait to get down there and fight the strongest among them!" Another of the Saiyans said excitedly punching her palm.

"Caulifla, I know you're excited, but fighting as soon as we land would make it seem like an invasion or conquest." The blue-haired human said with a sigh.

"She's right sis... we don't want to make an enemy of the natives to this planet." The calmer of the two Saiyan's said with a sigh.

"Come on Kale! That's the whole reason we are on this journey is to find and fight strong people!" The now named Caulifla complained.

Caulifla is a short girl of slender build and fair complexion. She wears a low-cut magenta tube top revealing her belly, low-set purple harem pants, long dark grey wristbands, and a pair of pointy dark grey shoes. Her hair is long, wild, and spiky. Her eyes are narrow yet big, with large black pupils, as well as thin eyebrows.

Kale has a slender yet toned frame and average height, half a foot taller than Caulifla. She is dark-skinned with downcast eyes and grey irises. She has shaggy shoulder-length black hair normally worn in a high ponytail secured by a white hair tie, while a bang hanging over the left side of her face and wears red lipstick. Her outfit consists of a red cropped shirt exposing her midriff matching her lower outfit—a red skirt with a brown belt attached along with a silver circular buckle and a pair of black compression shorts underneath. She wears a pair of golden boots with red tips, along with golden bracelets that cover her wrists and most of her forearms, and a pair of golden hoop earrings.

"That may be, but we should make a good impression on their leaders first." Bulma said sternly.

"Yeesh, it's easy to forget that you're a mother with your new body." The shorter Saiyan groaned. "Fine, we'll do it your way."

It was then an alarm was set off as a force of raw energy washed over their ship, causing all systems to shut down and the ship to be pulled in by the planet's gravity.

"We're going down! Get into your seats and buckle up!" The blue-haired girl said as she got into the driver's seat to try to control the fall and save their ship.

[Land of Waves]

Team 7 consisting of Naruto Uzumaki, Sakura Haruno, Sasuke Uchiha, and their Jonin Sensei, Kakashi Hatake, were in the middle of a major fight. It was round two against an A rank Missing Ninja by the name of Zabuza Momochi, only this time he had his accomplice with him. A fake hunter ninja by the name of Haku.

Naruto had met Haku one morning after training to vent some anger after the client's grandson said he didn't understand suffering. The two became fast friends due to their traumatic pasts, and while Haku had tried to say she was a guy, Naruto's enhanced sense of smell picked up on her very faint perfume.

His usual outfit was a black high-collared trench coat with purple flames on the bottom with a burnt orange lining, black shinobi pants, and sandals with a mess armored shirt. However, with everything going on, he didn't have time to throw on his coat before rushing out of the client's house that morning.

Right now Sasuke was unconscious while looking like a porcupine being littered with senbon needles courtesy of the young woman they were fighting, making Naruto believe his rival was dead. This caused him to explode with the power of the demon within him. The force of the blast of chakra could be felt throughout the planet and beyond.

Off to the side, Kakashi had Zabuza pinned with his Ninja Hound summons and was about to go through the hand signs for his original jutsu, the Lightning Blade Jutsu. He was worried about Naruto losing control and going berserk. He noticed Naruto smashing the fake hunter ninja through their Ice Mirrors, shattering the mask.

"HaKu...?" Naruto strained, his eyes flickering between blue and blood red, not noticing he was straddling her.

"I'm sorry Naruto." She said in resignation. "Finish me, I'm nothing more than a broken tool."

"I won't!" He said glaring at her. "I don't care if you're Zabuza's partner or not! I'm not going to kill you..."

"Please, Zabuza found me when I had nothing left... He gave me purpose..." The Ice Kunoichi said softly. "If I can't-"

She was interrupted by a flaming object falling from the sky, something that stopped Kakashi as well. Everyone conscious wondered what it was, paying attention to the direction it was heading. After a loud bang from the crash, the slimy bastard behind everything in the Land of Waves, Gato of Gato Industries made his appearance with an army of thugs.

"Well, wasn't that a sight?" The short greasy man sneered before smirking looking at the scene before him. "And this? This is pathetic. Some Demon of the Mist, pinned down by a bunch of dogs... and your little bitch being straddled by an enemy. If she's that easy, I'll enjoy breaking her after I deal with these shinobi and Tazuna.

You see, I never intended to pay you. For what you were asking, I could hire all these fine gentlemen to do the job you've failed to do." Then turns to his men. "Alright men, kill the men but save the women...even the flat-chested one. I'm sure we can find a use for her."

Naruto got off Haku while helping her up, both fighting off blushes and trying to focus on the matter at hand. Kakashi released Zabuza from his hounds, leaving a small pug behind while helping the swordsman up to his feet. Both parties looked at the other and nodded, while Sakura was fuming at being made fun of her bust even if she was more worried about Sasuke.

"Guess we have no reason to fight anymore, eh, Zabuza?" The Sharingan user said with a sigh getting a pained groan from the swordsman.

"Yeah, my contract is null and void." Zabuza said with his arms limp at his side. "Hey brat, Haku, lend us a hand if you have chakra left. Pinky just stand there and guard the old man."

"But Sasuke is-" Sakura shouted before being cut off by Haku.

"Still alive..." She said sternly. "For now, focus on your job rather than your duck-butt emo-king."

"Why you...!" The Pinkette fumed.

"Enough talk! Blonde, pass me a kunai." The former Kiri Shinobi growled.

As Naruto threw him a kunai with Zabuza catching it in his mouth, Kakashi turned to the pug. "Pakkun, We're just about finished here but I need you to run back to the village and request for a replacement team to guard Tazuna while authorizing my team to investigate the crash sight before anyone else does."

"Got it! I'll be back as soon as I can." Pakkun said as he dispelled to take a shortcut back to Konoha.

As if Pakkun disappearing was a signal of some sort the slaughter began with Naruto getting his first kills and Kakashi alongside Haku right there to help him through it. However, what they didn't know was that the blonde was worried what a certain someone would think of him now that he had blood on his hands; even if that blood helped free an oppressed country.

[Konoha – Hokage's Office]

"Team 10 reporting the completion of our mission." Asuma said professionally.

"Good job." Hiruzen nodded. "Now then we have -"

He was interrupted by Pakkun appearing in a puff of smoke on his desk. "Lord Hokage, urgent request from Kakashi and Team 7. They request a team to replace them in Wave and authorization to investigate the crash site that I'm sure you and every other nation are aware of."

"Yes... I was just about to send a team of ANBU to investigate... but Team 7 is closer..." The old monkey said thoughtfully. 'But that direction... I was hoping Naruto wouldn't find out this way but there is no helping that now...'

"What is the situation in Wave?" He asked in a commanding tone.

"Team 7, Rogue Ninja Zabuza Momochi and his...accomplice were just finishing Gato and his goons. The Kiri duo were betrayed by the business tycoon and apparently, Naruto had befriended Haku, Zabuza's accomplice, during the mission at some point. All that is left is guarding Tazuna until he finishes his bridge to completely free his people." The Pug debriefed.

"Yeah, that sounds like Naruto." Ino said with a wistful smile.

The Platinum Blonde wore a purple halter top which left her toned abdomen exposed. A purple battle apron was around her waist hiding her black shorts from the world. To complete her outfit, she was wearing knee-high leather boots with armored plating on her feet and gloves that went up to her elbows with metal plating on the knuckles. This gave Ino a brawler look. While she still used her family's Ninjutsu, she knew she couldn't solely rely on it so she took up taijutsu and even some Elemental Ninjutsu.

'Kushina, I guess the time has come... no... I've been a fool, this should have been given to him a long time ago.' The Hokage thought as he pulled a small velvet box with a frown. "Pakkun, I want you to return Kakashi and give him this as well as the authorization to investigate... tell him...Naruto will need that to allow them to go where they need to." He then turns to Team 10. "And you are his replacement to protect Tazuna and his family from whatever forces remain, you have 1 day to get there."

"Sir, will the client be safe without protection for that long?" Asuma said with concern sparing a glance at the box his father gave to Kakashi's main summon.

"I'm afraid we don't have a choice. Something fell from beyond our atmosphere and landed in the direction of a place that is very important to our history... a land that belonged to the clan whose symbol is on the back of our vests." The elder Sarutobi said sternly causing his son's eyes to widen.

"Understood." The younger Sarutobi said before turning to his team. "You have 1 hour to gather your gear and meet me at the gate. Now Move!"

Knowing not to argue with their normally lax sensei, Team 10 hurried out the door while Shikamaru muttered the traditional Nara "troublesome", and Ino while was deep in thought.

'That's obviously a ring box, but what does it have to do with Naruto and the symbol on the Chunin and Jonin vests?' She thought getting a gut feeling that everything was going to change for her fellow blonde and childhood friend.

The pug grabbed the box gently in his mouth before dispelling to return to Kakashi. Afterward, the old man sank into his chair before looking up his fallen successor's portrait with a disheartened look.

"Minato... I'm sorry. I should have done more for your son. Why did you leave those instructions to not tell your son about who he is until he's 18 or he reached Chunin." He sighed. "This is going to end so badly..."

[Back in Wave]

Team 7, along with Zabuza and Haku, were recovering after their battle on the bridge. Naruto and his new friend were outside showing Inari how to use and throw kunai and senbon in order to help defend his home without the presence of Shinobi. Sasuke was fuming that he was defeated with Naruto being able to win in his place. Sakura was fawning over him, causing the Uchiha to be even more irritated and Zabuza was brooding off to the corner with Kakashi keeping a close eye on him while resting in the living room.

Everyone in the house was startled when Pakkun returned in a plume of smoke. When Kakashi saw the velvet box with the Uzumaki Swirl, he was glad that his blonde student was outside.

"I take it we have authorization?" The Konoha Jonin asked as he grabbed the box.

"Yes, and Team 10 will be here within 24 hours to take your place. so you are to leave immediately." The pug nodded. "The Hokage said what was in that box will be needed to get to your destination and to give it to Naruto."

"I see... So Asuma's team is coming. They're a good replacement team for this situation." The Ninja Hound summoner said thoughtfully. 'So... that's where we're heading. This isn't going to be good.'

"Hey! Who will defend us during the time it takes for this replacement team to get here! Some of Gato's goons could be laying in wait!" Tazuna asked furiously.

"Actually, I was going to ask Zabuza to stick around now that he has no reason to kill you." The elder Sharingan user said looking at the former Mist Shinobi causing him to sigh.

"Fine..." He said. "But I get to raid Gato's Mansion and take as much as I can carry!"

Before Tazuna could say anything in protest, Kakashi nodded. "As long as you leave enough for our client to pay the appropriate amount for an A-ranked mission rather than the C-ranked he lied about."

"I think that's fair, don't you father?" Tsunami said sternly, a glare leveled on her father, daring him to argue.

The old drunk shrunk in on himself as he relented. "Fine..."

"Now that's settled..." The Copy-Cat Ninja said turning to his two students. "You two get ready, we move out in 30 minutes. I'll inform Naruto."

"What does the dobe have to do with where we're going?" Sasuke asked arrogantly.

"You'll find out when we get there Sasuke." Kakashi said sternly.

Outside Naruto and Haku were giving Inari a break after having been at it for an hour and his civilian arms were getting tired.

"Naruto, Do you think it's possible for me and Zabuza to join your village?" Haku asked looking off into distance. "As much as I owe Zabuza for everything so far... I'm tired of being on the run and the fighting. I want to settle down somewhere."

"Honestly? I'd prefer if you didn't come to Konoha." He said getting a confused look from her. "You see, there is this ass-hole that would do everything he could get his hands on you and turn you into nothing but a baby factory for your bloodline. He's been trying to get his hands on me to turn me into one of his mindless drones and his perfect little weapon."

"Does it have to do with that red chakra that you used against me?" The ravenette asked softly getting a sad nod in return. "Where should we go then...? I don't want to go back to Kiri. That place took everything from me because of the same reason."

"Why don't you stay here? They could use your help." The blonde asked seriously.

"He's right you know." Kakashi said startling the two of them. "Sorry for interrupting your moment, but we have our orders and have to move out soon. As for settling down, why don't you talk to Zabuza because I think his plan is to leave as soon as our replacement team arrives."

"Who is coming by the way?" Naruto inquired silently hoping it wasn't Kiba's Team.

Hearing Naruto's slightly, the Jonin chuckled lightly. "Don't worry, it's Team 10. Though I have wonder, what do you have against Team 8?"

"I just don't get along with Kiba... He always thinks he's the 'Alpha Male', always trying to push himself on anything with 2 legs and a pair of breasts. That and for this particular setting I don't think Tazuna and his family would tolerate his behavior... not to mention they get creeped out by Shino's bugs... the only normal-ish one out of them is Kurenai Sensei and Hinata, but even she might cause a problem since she hates me having any other female friends..." The blonde explained getting a shocked look from Haku.

"I see... Zabuza definitely wouldn't take kindly to Kiba hitting on your new friend either..." The silver-haired Jonin said in understanding. "Now, go on and get your coat, we move out shortly."

'Really starting to think I shouldn't go to Konoha to settle down, but helping these people get back on their feet doesn't sound so bad.' The ravenette though.

"Alright, I'll see you later Haku. Inari, train hard, I'll definitely come back to visit when I am able to." Naruto said as got up and went to prepare for departure with poor Inari just giving a lazy wave from being too tired to get up.

30 minutes later everyone arrived at the docks, where the same ferryman that brought them over was more than happy to take them back to the mainland. There they ran towards the crash site at top speed. The closer they got, however, the more the blonde Uzumaki started to feel a strange pull, making him want to pick up speed.

'What's going on? Why do I feel drawn towards where we heading?' Naruto thought not knowing that everything for him was about to change.

Kakashi, who has been keeping keep an eye on his sensei's son, could see him getting ever more anxious. 'So, what Lady Kushina said is true... all Uzumaki are drawn to their ancestral home. I only hope he can keep his emotions in check long enough for us to get home and allow Lord Hokage to explain.'

[1 hour earlier – Crash Site]

Bulma and her new Saiyan friends were crawling out of their completely destroyed ship. The burst of Nine-tails chakra not only completely fried most of the systems onboard but sent the ship into a destructive spiral. The Saiyan ladies were a little scuffed up, and Bulma was able to walk away with a slight concussion along with a few bruised ribs.

"Where the hell did we crash?" Caulifla groaned, stretching out her sore muscles.

"Wherever it is... it's completely in ruins. Doesn't look anyone has lived here a very long time." Kale said looking around.

"She's right." Bulma groaned as she was bracing her chest with her right arm. "Before the scanner broke, I was able to tell where we would end up. This is the island of Uzushio, the ruined home of a clan or family known as the Uzumaki. I don't know much more than that other than we're surrounded by impassable whirlpools."

"How are we going to get off this island then and meet the inhabitants of this planet?" The spiky-haired Saiyan asked irately.

"Oh, use your head for something other than fighting." The genius snapped. "Every country is likely sending someone to investigate as we speak, so for now, let's just look around and see what we can find to use as bargaining material. Maybe we can learn about this place while we're at it."

'I really wish I asked Goku for some of those Senzu Beans before we left, but no... nothing could possibly go wrong while traveling through space.' She mentally griped.

"Besides sis, you know that while we could fly out of here, we want to try to keep a low profile for the time being." The pony-tailed Saiyan said tiredly.

After 15 minutes of searching, they had already found scrolls that they couldn't read due to not understanding the language, and as they continued searching, they realized that it was noted on the very thing that the Uzumaki were feared for: Fūinjutsu. They found various levels of the art, something Bulma was eager to take a crack at. But that's not all they found, they found a vault that blasted them away when they tried to touch it.

After 2 hours, Kale decided she'd watch the mainland and wait for the investigators to arrive from the sky since she was the most polite and patient of the three offworlders. During that time, the blue-haired woman started her study of what they found while the wild and eager Saiyan continued to look around. But she quickly lost her eagerness for a fight as she saw the remains of children and the headbands with different symbols.

3 days later, Caulifla was getting impatient until she saw Kale land and run towards her and Bulma. "The whirlpools have dispersed! Someone is coming from the mainland!"

"Huh, Must be an Uzumaki... from what I've read over the last few days, only they can travel safely here." Bulma said as she packed up the scrolls into a satchel she found. "Let's wait here for them. I'm sure they will want to look around the ruins of their former home."

"Fine... I just want to get off this damned island. We're running low on food anyhow." The spiky-haired Saiyan grumbled.

"WE'RE SHORT ON FOOD BECAUSE OF YOUR SAIYAN APPETITES!" The blue-haired woman shorted. "That food was enough to feed normal people for at least 2 weeks."

"Jeez... Don't blame us. I thought you'd be better at calculating food rations when you've been best friends with a Saiyan that puts our appetites to shame." Caulifla said crossing her arms under her bust while pouting.

[Off the coast of The Land of Hot springs]

Team 7 had traveled 3 days only stopping to eat, much to Sakura's chagrin. By the time they got to the coast overlooking the sea with raging whirlpools, the pinkette was on the ground ready to pass out. Sasuke was looking winded but was standing tall, with Kakashi not looking phased. However, Naruto was looking determined despite his breathing being slightly labored.

"Kakashi Sensei, the crash site is over there?" The blonde asked not taking his eyes off the island in the distance.

"That's right, we'll need a boat to get there since you three haven't learned to walk on water yet." The one-eyed Jonin said getting looks of disbelief from his students. "And yes I will be teaching it to you when we get back to the village."

"Even if we got a boat, how in the hell do we get past the whirlpools? We'll be sucked up before we can get anywhere near the island?" Sakura asked as she pushed herself up off the ground.

"Alright, what's that island over there, and what does it have to do with the dobe?" Sasuke asked impatiently getting everyone's attention.

"Let's find a boat and you will find out." The Copy-Cat ninja said cryptically.

Once they arrived at the port, no one would take them till Kakashi told the captain they had a way to get past. At a safe distance from the whirlpools, The silver-haired knew he couldn't delay any longer.

"Naruto." He said getting the blonde's attention as he took out the velvet ring box. "Put this ring on and channel your chakra into it. Only you can open the way for us."

Taking the box, Naruto frowned when he say the ring was embedded with a ruby fashioned into a whirlpool-like one on the back of his sensei's vest and his old jumpsuit. Once he put it on and did as instructed, watching as the whirlpools subside.

"Well, I'll be... never thought I'd see an Uzumaki return... much less a blonde one." The old sea captain said in awe as he powered the boat back on made their way to the island's shore.

'Uzumaki...? My last name wasn't just slapped on me?' The blonde frowned while clenching his fists. 'I'll ask the old man about this later... for now, we have to find whatever fell here.'

"I've never heard of the Uzumaki Clan outside of Naruto before, and I've read every book in the academy... There was no mention of them much less them coming from an island surrounded by violent whirlpools." Sakura asked curiously, not knowing she was fanning Naruto's flames of Anger and his feeling of betrayal.

"Young lady, I've been around for a very long time. I was 10 years old when 3 of the 5 great nations attacked the Uzumaki Clan and after several weeks, 30% of those forces limped away licking their wounds after they wiped out most of the Clan." The old sailor said sternly.

"So the dobe comes from a near-extinct clan. At least he didn't have to witness the death of everyone he knew." Sasuke scoffed.

"Sasuke, Sakura, enough." Kakashi said directing their attention to their teammate showing them that he was barely keeping his temper in check. "We'll discuss this when we get back to the village."

The pinkette frowned, feeling bad for speaking before thinking. "I'm sorry Naruto, I wasn't thinking."

"Let's just get this mission over with... I have a few questions for Old Man Hokage when we get home." The blonde said tensely.

'Oh boy... I really hope that nothing else goes wrong or Naruto will be a flight risk... He looks like he's already considered running if it wasn't for wanting answers from Lord Hokage...' The Jonin of Team 7 sighed. "Come on... let's go. The crash site is near the middle of the island."

After 30 minutes of travel, they reached what used to be the gates to the village, everyone, excluding the arrogant Uchiha, was put in a solemn mood. Naruto was being pulled to the center of the village but he stayed with his team.

"I take it you guys are the investigation squad?" A feminine voice came out from behind the walls of one of the buildings.

"That's right, we're Konoha's Team 7. Who are you and how are we able to understand you? I assume that you came from whatever crashed here, so we shouldn't be able to understand you or you understand us." Kakashi said with his team getting into fighting positions.

"Easy there..." A blue-haired young woman came out with her hands up. "I used the ruined parts of our ship to make a universal translator. Me and my friends don't want any trouble... even if one of them is eager to fight strong warriors."

"Hey don't make me sound like some mindless brute!" A short spiky-haired young woman said defiantly as she jumped out looking pissed.

"And I thought our plan was to ease them into meeting us..." A taller young woman with her hair in a ponytail sighed, coming out with her hands up. "As usual sis, you let your temper get the better of you."

"Blame Bulma! She's the one who insulted me." The shorter of the 3 girls shouted pointing at the blue-haired girl.

"Shorty reminds me of how you used to be dobe... Loud and annoying." Sasuke said with a smirk.

"Sasuke..." The silver-haired Jonin warned.

"Oh shut it Duck-butt! The only reason I don't make an example of you is because I don't want to further damage this place out of respect for it, something you don't seem have." The spiky-haired girl growled.

"Enough." Naruto said in a tone that sent shivers down everyone's spine. "I am barely keeping my cool as is... I will, however, thank you for your respect and restraint. I will not tolerate any more damage to my clan's ancestral home."

"...You're the one dispelled the whirlpools." Bulma said in realization getting a stiff nod in return. "What's your name?

Actually, we got a bit sidetracked and never really introduced ourselves. As my hotheaded friend over there said, my name is Bulma. Bulma Briefs."

"I'm Naruto Uzumaki... I just found out that the Uzumaki were a clan and not just a name I was slapped within the orphanage." The blonde said, pointing a glare at his sensei.

"I'm Kakashi Hatake, the pinkette is Sakura Haruno, and the arrogant ravenette is Sasuke Uchiha." Kakashi said trying to keep the peace, but didn't trust Sasuke to make the situation worse.

"Nice to meet you, I'm Kale, and this is my sister and mentor, Caulifla." Kale said with a slight bow.

"Gotta say, your ancestors were something else Naruto... From what we could figure out from exploring this place for the last 3 days, they put up one hell of a fight before being taken down. If you're anywhere near that resilient or strong as they were, you've got my respect." Caulifla said with a friendly smirk.

"Well since we've found you... I guess we should look around, see if we can find anything that Naruto can take back with us." The Copy Cat Ninja said getting a grateful nod from his sensei's son.

"Actually, I found scrolls on something called Fūinjutsu. I find the stuff to be pretty fascinating but I think I'm going to have to work on my calligraphy and learn how to use the energy you people use...Chakra I think it's called?" Bulma asked getting nods from the Shinobi. "Besides that, we found something that prevents us from entering. When we touch it, it pushes us away."

"Sounds like a barrier or seal that will only accept Uzumaki chakra or blood." The silver-haired Jonin said using his limited knowledge of the sealing arts.

"Is it over towards that big building that is mostly intact?" The Uzumaki asked getting a surprised look from everyone.

"Yeah..." The blue-haired genius said. "How did you know?"

"I've been feeling a pull in that direction for quite a while... I've only stayed with the team since we're technically on a mission." He said tensely.

"Why didn't you say anything? I'm sure Kakashi Sensei would have let you explore..." Sakura said sympathetically.

"Go ahead and let the dobe explore, this place probably won't have anything else of use." The arrogant Uchiha said getting glares from the offworlder's and his team.

"Go ahead Naruto, the rest of us will start putting people's remains to rest." Kakashi said pointedly before turning to the offworlders. "Will you three help us?"

"Of course." Caulifla said getting nods of agreement from her friends. "As I said, I respect the Uzumaki, it's only right we give them proper graves. In fact, I've already started since I had nothing else to do."

"Thank you." Naruto said quietly before running off.

"Sasuke, we will be having a discussion later about respect and your arrogance." Kakashi said with authority. "Now help us and be quiet about it. Konoha gave your clansmen proper burials, so it's only fair you do the same for an old ally of the village."

"Whatever..." The Uchiha said defiantly. 'I do suppose that Naruto and I have two things in common now...'

[With Naruto]

Minutes later Naruto arrived at the sealed vault that seemed to be calling him. He put his hand on the wall, felt a pull on his chakra, and heard the wall starting to move and open. Inside was filled with gold, jewels, and a beautiful katana on a pedestal. The sheathe was red metal with what looked like golden wrapping around etched into the sheathe. The handle looked like it was made or wrapped in green dragon scales.

As he approached the blade, he triggered a seal that released what looked like a 30-year-old male wearing Kage Robes and a Kage Hat with the Uzumaki Swirl on it. "You who are of Uzumaki Blood, what business do you have in the Royal Vault?"

"I was drawn here during a mission for Konoha." Naruto said plainly. "Who are you?"

"I am Arashi Uzumaki, I was the last leader of Uzushio before it fell." The now named Arashi. "Tell me, I sense you hold the Demon Fox... that must mean that my Kushina perished before her time."

"What...do you mean?" Naruto asked, a lump in his throat forming as if he knew the answer somehow.

"I had to send my daughter to Konoha to become the second Jinchūriki since Lady Mito was getting old and couldn't hold the fox back much longer. I can only assume Kushina fell in love with someone with strong genes that overwrote our telltale crimson red hair with blonde and had to seal the Demon within you." the redhead explained.

"Wait. If you were the last leader of this place... how are we talking?" The blonde asked.

"I am but a Chakra/soul fragment. I sealed a portion of myself here for when an Uzumaki would come along to claim the treasure and the sword before you. It is very advanced Fūinjutsu...and not to be done lightly." Arashi said seriously. "Now, before I run out of time, if you are indeed my grandson, then you are of the royal branch of our Clan. That means what is in this vault is yours by birthright, but to truly test this, you must take hold of the sword's handle. Only my bloodline can hold it, much less draw and use it."

"Right..." Naruto said filing away more topics to talk to the Hokage about.

Stepping forward and taking hold of the beautiful katana handle and immediately felt a huge pull on his chakra causing him to drop to one knee while groaning in pain. A few seconds later Naruto was able to stand and draw the sword, revealing its blood-red blade with kanji of its name.

"I see Blood Fang has accepted you, and thus you are the rightful heir to the Uzumaki Clan and Prince of Uzushio." Arashi said with a serene smile. "Use the sealing scroll in this room to seal all of your wealth and take it with you back to Konoha. Use it as you see fit but take care of your sword and pass it on to your future son or daughter. However, you should know that there are 4 unique rings within velvet boxes, each will signify the wearers as your wives."

"WIVES?!" Naruto shouted in shock. "What do you mean wives!? Isn't that cheating?"

"Young Uzumaki, you may be the last of the Uzumaki. It's imperative that our clan remains in this world. Besides... I do believe that the 2nd Hokage enacted a law called the Clan Restoration Act when our sister clan, the Senju was nearly wiped out." The redheaded Uzumaki said before he started to fade. "Looks like my time is up. You should speak to your Hokage about this law as well as whatever else you are concerned about. Farewell, my dear boy."

'What is going on?! The old man has a lot to answer for when I get back!' Naruto mentally raged as he got to work sealing everything in the room while sheathing his sword and strapping it to his hip and the scroll into his tool pouch. 'I better find my team, I must have been in here for a while now.'

After 10 minutes of looking, he found his team and immediately they noticed the sword on his hip. Naruto was actually surprised that Sasuke hadn't approached him demanding it.

"Naruto, there you are." Kakashi said with an eye smile. "I see your search was fruitful. Did you find anything else?"

"...Yeah, I did. I will explain it all when we get back. I don't want to repeat myself... Let's just say that I'm this close to snapping." The Blonde said tensely.

"Well we've buried all your clansmen, so let's not keep the ferryman waiting any more than we have." The Jonin said before turning to the 3 ladies. "You girls ready to come with us?"

"So long as you can keep Duck-butt from insulting us, we'll be just fine. Even Buddha has a limit to his patience." Kale said seriously with nods of agreement from her friends, Caulifla with a cocky smirk.

"Let's just go, depending on how quickly we move, it will take between 3 days to a week to get back to the village." Naruto stressed.

[Wave with Team 10]

With Gato gone and the bandits in hiding, everyone came out to help build the bridge, completing it in record time. The tale of Team 7's exploits and Naruto's role in returning Tazuna's family's courage thus returning it to the rest of the country spread like wildfire. Ino was very proud of her childhood friend and secret crush for saving a small country.

She and Haku became fast friends as well, especially after Haku shared her story with the platinum blonde. A story that reminded her of Naruto's before her father found out what the young boy was going through and started supporting her fellow Blonde alongside the Nara's and the Akimichi's.

"Hey, Did you have a chance to talk to Zabuza at all?" Ino asked her friend as they were sitting on the meadow Naruto met Haku.

"Yes, He's..." Haku paused with a conflicted look on her face. "He's freed me from his service. He said he's returning to Mist to support the rebels. So, since he knows that country holds nothing but misery for me, I'm free to live where I want..."

"Have you decided where that is yet?" The platinum blonde asked quietly, feeling sorry for her friend.

"Not yet." The Ravenette said shaking her head. "But Tazuna and his family have offered to put me up until I can make up my mind. Who knows, I might just decide to stay here and help train the townsfolk to fight."

"Well, if you do decide to come to Konoha, you'd have the protection of 3 prominent clans... the legendary Ino-Shiko-Cho clans." Ino said confidently. 'And if Shikamaru is right, which he usually is, it might be 4... I only hope we can make it back to the village either at the same time or before Naruto and his team so I can be there to support him.'

Yes, since they heard the vague conversation between the Hokage and their sensei, Shikamaru asked his parents about the symbol on the vests. And while he didn't get a straight answer, Yoshino, raged about the old bats on the council erasing her friend's as well as 1st Hokage's wife's clan from the history books. And while he claimed it was a drag, Shikamaru theorized that Hashirama's wife was somehow related to Naruto... something she knew would destroy him.

"I'll keep that in mind." Haku chuckled. "I'll keep in touch in the meantime."

"Sorry to interrupt, but I was sent to get you Ino. Our mission is complete now that the bridge is finished." Choji said as he came into the clearing. "We'll be leaving soon."

"Alright, thanks Choji." The Mind-walker said getting up and dusting herself off. "I look forward to hearing from you Haku."

"Yeah, you take care and say hi to him for me." The Ice user said with a smile getting a thumbs up in return.

At the now named Great Naruto Bridge, Team 10 was preparing to leave with Tazuna and his family seeing them off. The old drunk stepped forward. "Alright young lady, give our thanks to Naruto and his team. Once we've got things rolling here I'll come back to Konoha with what I owe you."

"I'm sure he'll be happy to hear from you again when you do." Ino said with a smile.

"Troublesome old man... Just don't forget the Hokage is doing you a favor and not charging you interest for your deception." Shikamaru said dully.

"He's right, my old man is too compassionate for his own good sometimes..." Asuma sighed with a shrug.

"Don't you worry, I'll make sure my father doesn't forget." Tsunami said with a sickly sweet smile directed at her father before turning to Ino with a motherly smile. "And you, young lady, you had better confess to that brave young man that saved me and my family."

"I-I'll don't know what you're talking about!" The platinum blonde stuttered with a massive blush on her face. "L-let's just get back to the village already."

"Alright Team 10, let's go and try to make it back before Ino's boyfriend gets back" The chain smoker teased earning a chuckle from everyone but Ino who felt like crawling into a hole.

[Konoha – 3 days later]

The trip back from Uzushio was a silent one, for the most part, Bulma and companions had asked general questions about the world they were stranded on for the time being, but other than that it was quiet. Everyone kept their distance from Naruto, whose anger was palpable and was coming off him in waves. Even Sasuke wasn't trying to pick a fight with him and Sakura was hiding behind Kakashi, having never been afraid of the blonde before. After feeling that evil chakra and him learning about him being from a clan, she's been hesitant to be anywhere near him.

Thankfully, the blonde's mood improved a little when they ran into Team 10, more importantly, his childhood friend, Ino. But the platinum blonde was immediately worried when she saw her fellow blonde look like a ticking time bomb.

"Hey, are you alright? What happened that you're so pissed off?" She asked clutching her chest in worry.

"Ino... He learned something on our mission to investigate that crash." Sakura said quietly. "He's been in like this since we heard the news."

"I'll explain when we talk to the old man..." Naruto said as he put a hand on his friend's shoulder. "We'll introduce you to our companions at the same time."

'The two blondes seem close. At least the girl looks like she knows how to handle herself in a fight... unlike Pinky.' Caulifla thought to herself, one shared by Kale.

"Let's go you two, we have mission reports to give and introduce our guests." Asuma said silently wondering what could have happened.

So, ignoring the scowling secretary they made their way up to Hiruzen's office, and each step they took, the higher Naruto's anger got, even with Ino being right beside him trying to keep his temper from boiling over.

'Oh, dear... He's not even here yet and I can feel the legendary Uzumaki temper from here... I'm just thankful he doesn't have long hair like his mother.' Hiruzen thought sinking into his seat. "ANBU, leave us...I'll be just fine."

Just as the ANBU left, his office door was kicked off it hinges by the blonde Uzumaki. The look in the Jinchūriki's eyes promised pain with both eyes remaining blue but had animalistic slits. Everyone filled in behind Naruto with Ino remaining at his side, likely the only thing keeping him from blowing his top. What caught the old monkey's attention was the additional guests.

"Before we get to the obvious and highly confidential topic... Let's get the official mission reports out of the way." The Hokage said sitting straight in his chair.

"Not much to report for Team 10... We helped complete the bridge as well as around town. Team 7 did the heavy lifting... Even with Zabuza Momochi and the girl named Haku hanging out with the client, we had very little to do in terms of protection. Tazuna will pay us once they get back on their feet complete." Asuma said lazily.

"As for my team, well... that ties into the confidential matter." Kakashi said waiting to see if the Hokage would dismiss the rest of the Genin, but seeing he hadn't said anything after a moment he continued. "The crash site was the ruined ancestral home of the Uzumaki Clan..."

He was interrupted by Team 10 gasping and looking at Naruto, whose left eye was twitching violently, his fists clenching and unclenching. Ino had her hand on his chest trying to calm him down.

"The old sailor we hired to ferry us to the island had given us a history lesson of how the Uzumaki fell... 3 out of 5 great nations dwindled down to down a measly 30% of their total combined forces before they finished off the legendary clan. Naturally, Naruto was pissed at learning he was from a near-extinct clan, but he kept his cool knowing he was on the job.

Shortly after landfall, we ran into our guests here... so I will turn it over to them since they can explain things better." The Copy Ninja said gesturing to the offworlders.

"Lord Hokage, I'm Bulma Briefs from the planet Earth. My friends are a race known as Saiyans, although... they...aren't like us. I am not sure how much I can reveal about them without bringing a lot of trouble down on this village. However, their names are Caulifla and Kale. We crashed here after some weird red energy fried our ship's systems." Bulma said politely as she started her explanation.

"It's a pleasure to meet you, young ladies." Hiruzen nodded.

"Sorry... I'm the one who fried your ship. It was during our battle with Zabuza and Haku." Naruto said in a strained voice. "Sasuke had just been turned into a pincushion and put into a near-death state... I thought he was killed. I was overwhelmed with anger that I tapped into the Nine-tailed Demon Fox's chakra... the burst of chakra must of been what caused your ship to fail."

"Naruto!" The Hokage exclaimed looking at the shocked genin.

"Can it Old Man!" The Blonde growled. "I'm done with secrets! I only care what one person in this room thinks about me, everyone else be damned. And while we're at it... I think it's time for me to answers."

The Old Monkey sighed and nodded. "If that is alright with our guests."

"That's fine... Our business can wait. Naruto has been amazingly patient. My friends back home would have blown their top long before now." The blue-haired genius said with a homesick smile.

"Very well then. What is it that you wish to know Naruto?" Hiruzen asked calmly.

"I think it's about time I learned who my parents are. I know my mother's name was Kushina Uzumaki, who is my father? And what is my connection to Lady Mito Uzumaki, wife of Lord 1st?" The Jinchūriki asked in a scarily calm tone, even if his body language was anything but.

"I'm afraid I cannot tell you who your father is. He left me specific instructions not to let you until you made Chunin or turned 18." The Hokage said tiredly. "As for your connection to Lady Mito... that is unsure. But you do have only one remaining blood relative, no matter how distant that relation is... My former student Tsunade Senju. She is the granddaughter of Lord Hashirama and Lady Mito, therefore she is at least one-quarter Uzumaki while you are half Uzumaki."

"Sorry to interrupt..." Caulifla said surprisingly politely while looking up at the portrait of the 4th Hokage. "But isn't that his father? I mean, anyone can see the resemblance. I mean they look damn near identical minus the whiskers."

'Oh, shit...' Hiruzen and Kakashi thought at the same time, especially as Naruto's body was trembling in anger, with his eyes hidden by his hair.

"Is it true...?" The blonde asked in a very deathly quiet voice that showed he was using every ounce of restraint he had left.

"...Yes. The very same man that sealed the fox within you is your father. Minato Namikaze, Konoha's Yellow Flash and the 4th Hokage." The Professor said solemnly. "It was in his will that instructed me to tell you and give you your inheritance as I've said before."

The offworlders looked on sympathetically while genin looked absolutely floored. Only Ino was quick to recover and was immediately trying to comfort her childhood friend.

"What...?" Naruto growled. "The village's greatest hero and Hokage is my father... the man they practically worship while treating his son less than trash!?"

"Naruto... please calm down. I know this is big news, but no good will come from lashing out now." Ino said wrapping herself around him.

"Is there anything else you're keeping from me?! Everything that you should have told me, I've been told by either outsiders or traitors! If you don't tell me everything right now, this village can kiss their war deterrent goodbye. I will hand over my headband and walk right now!" Naruto roared, his eyes were now blood red with tears rolling down his cheeks, his whiskers were thicker.

"Normally I'd have you detained for such a threat, but very well..." The Hokage said seriously. "Your godfather is another of my former students... Jiraiya, the Toad Sage, and our village's spymaster. While his duties do keep him away from the village, I have tried to get him to come back on occasion to take up his responsibilities as your godfather, but he constantly stated he had leads about dangers the village.

Your godmother was your mother's best friend but was kept from taking care of you by her clan and the council. Unfortunately..." He paused and looked at Sasuke. "She died that tragic night... the night of the Uchiha Massacre. Sasuke's mother, Mikoto Uchiha."

The Hokage sighed before continuing. "As for everything else... your parents left you a house and quite the fortune. However, as I've said twice before, I've been instructed not to give you access til you are 18 or Chunin."

"Lord Hokage..." Kakashi said tiredly. "Given the situation, I think it's only fair that Naruto is given what is rightfully his."

However, everyone, including the offworlders caught the hidden message, something that pissed off the Saiyans especially. "Give Naruto what he is owed in an attempt to pacify him enough to keep him in the village."

"Yes... I suppose so." Hiruzen nodded before turning to stranded individuals. "Young ladies, I'm sorry, but we will have to continue our conversation at a later date. However, we will provide accommodations for you 3 for the time being if that is alright. I need to show young Naruto to his new home."

Caulifla growled. "Like hell we're going to accept something from you after what we've just seen and heard! I don't want to be the debt of some old man who resorts to such dirty and desperate means to get what he wants."

"She's right," Bulma said with a scowl. "Look I get where you are coming from, I used to run a massive company that pretty much had a monopoly on technology back home. I get there are secrets that would be dangerous if they got out, or that losing someone important would damage your lively hood as a whole... but from what we've heard, you didn't tell this kid the most important things he needed to hear. Even if you couldn't tell him WHO his parents were, the very least you could have done is tell him whether or not they loved him. Hell, from what we know about Naruto, telling him that his parents were big shots would have motivated him to train harder, given him a bar to overcome.

Now that he's finding out when he's a couple of years away from being a young adult from people other than the ones that should have, his faith and loyalty in you and this village is shot to hell, here you are bribing him with that is legally his in the first place?

I seriously hope you can do better when we continue our talk tomorrow... that is if we decide to stay here. We hold no loyalty to this village, and from what we've heard, there are other places for us to settle down since we have no way off this planet for now."

Surprisingly, those outbursts in his defense calmed Naruto down enough to think clearly and speak sternly. "They can stay with me at my parent's house if they so choose. I'm assuming that being a powerful Jonin before being Hokage allowed Minato to get a decently sized house... Not to mention my mom, who I am assuming powerful in her own right."

"Yes, they did leave you a rather large house. One big enough for you and your friends." Hiruzen said through gritted his teeth before addressing his Shinobi. "You are dismissed and given a week off. However, what has been said in this office is beyond top secret, and punishable by death is you say a word about it to anyone without express permission."

"Lord Hokage, I would like to know one thing before we go." Ino said as she unraveled herself from Naruto in order to look and sound serious. "Do the clans know about Naruto and his parents?"

"Yes, everyone from the rank of Special Jonin and up knows." The old man said. "And before you jump to conclusions, your parents, in particular, Ino, Shikamaru, Choji, are supporting Naruto not only because they were friends with Minato and Kushina, but because they hated how the village treats him."

"There... is one more thing." Kakashi sighed and decided to come clean. "I didn't just simply know Lady Kushina and the 4th... I was a part of Minato Sensei's genin team. I saw him as my second father."

"I don't care if you are my Sensei, I don't want anything more to do with you outside of training or missions. You should have been a big brother figure to me and helped look after me." Naruto snapped and glared at the One-Eyed Jonin before addressing the Hokage who looked defeated. "Let's go."

AN: THAT'S IT! I figure that is a good place to stop for an opening chapter. Don't worry this won't be like No More Lies where Naruto leaves the village out of anger and feelings of betrayal. However, his trust and loyalty will be strained at best, and likely not to recover any time soon. I tried to make him more mature and not fly off the handle at everything in a "childish" or "whiny" matter.

Anyway, as always, updates will be slow, but I will update this and all my other stories in time. I have only one other plot bunny that's been gnawing away at the cage doors wanting out but that probably won't be out for a while. I also want to thank everyone from Midnight Lost's discord server for all the help they gave me with this chapter.

Reviews would be appreciated, but flames will be ignored.
